They charge for anything really, pickleball paddles, kayaks, anything, extra. Personally I feel these are small inexpensive things that are cheap to provide but add greatly to the guest experience. It feels like you are on vacation. The facilities are well maintained there are things to do at the hotel like - kids games, a playground, a tennis court, 2 pools , a hot tub , spa, fitness center with weights amd cardio. There are 2 restaurants, one includes an open air bar with ocean views the other more upscale. There is also a pool bar which was closed due to it being off season. You can book excursions directly on site for subs diving and snorkeling. They were reasonably priced but the buy the snorkel gear was a little pricey so bring your own or rent for $25.00. I went during off season so there were not many people so I felt extra special and cared for! Everyone is spoke to was kind and helpful and authentic! I felt like they were my friends! We had some tropical storms so the water was a bit merky and its sea weed season too, so sometimes yiu coupd smell sulfer. But I was told that isn't the case in normal season. It wasn't bad so dont let that discourage you. Overall I learned so much about the area. There are turtles, manatees and dolphins who you may see on one of the boat tours! The rooms were really clean, updated bathrooms but the main rooms were a little dated. It didnt bother me because the beds were still comfy! Slept like a baby.

There’s lots to do at the resort regardless of how many people you’re traveling with. Just staying at it forces you to relax without even realizing it. It’s off the beaten path and they clearly remodel rooms on a regular basis. That being said, it would be nice if they could have the main restaurant setup for an inside/outside option for diners. Due to it being outside despite having a cover over top of it, I had to deal with pesky birds one day in the morning. Overall though, I would strongly recommend Copamarina when it comes to places to stay. Honestly, even though I don’t live in Puerto Rico, I hope to be able to get back and stay there again sometime soon. When you need a place to go stay at in which you can relax, this resort should be at the top in terms of places you’d want to stay at.

The food is poor and grossly overpriced. Mixed drinks are $16 each which outpaces any good bar or high end restaurant. The front desk staff are “hit or miss”, you either get Reggie who is great or the other ones who ignore your requests and giggle to themselves while being oblivious to the guests. My advice would be to go anywhere else but here for the money paid. There is no surprise why customers did not return after the pandemic, the quality here has suffered.
