The toastie was warm with soft focaccia and plenty of motadella ham and cheese. Presented ok with random lettuce and the serving size was reasonable. A bit greasy though, with the sauce. Maybe other dishes are better but the menu is very small and it didn’t deliver for me personally. The brown things (pangrattato) sprinkled all over it really ruined the whole dish as they tasted sour and gave the sauce a mouldy taste. It made it very hard to eat. A simple tomato base and pesto on the side without that would have made it so much better. Sometimes simpler is better. Service was lovely though and the staff were all nice and really helpful. I am trying to rate fairly on the food experience only that I ate and I would definitely not recommend or come back for the gnocchi. Maybe I’ll try it out again but there was nothing else on the menu I wanted.

The smoothies all looked delicious but the one that appealed to me most today was the Popeye, which tasted as good as it sounded with blueberries, spinach?, coconut water and a couple of other ingredients. Thankfully today’s service was a vast improvement on my last visit. My order was taken promptly and with a smile, the guy serving me was friendly and despite there being a few customers, the smoothie came out really quickly. I like the tagliatelle very much although it might not be “home made”. The salad was very fresh though. 2/3 The coffee didn’t impress at first but it got much better after a few sips. And very goid by the end. Went to the restaurant and redeemed my offer with no problems however when i went to pay the staff member refused to accept it saying they are no longer accepting the Uber eats promotion - whilst they are still actively listed on the Uber eats website offering the promotion which I had claimed and redeemed. I specifically came this restaurant due to the deal and discount provided. Being told I have to pay double the agreed upon amount after ordering and eating is shocking and disgraceful customer customer service. Using a fake deal to get customers 'in the door' and 'promote' a business but then refusing to honour the deal once it has been claimed is beyond unethical, and a marketing scam. Female staff member was extremely rude and refused to let me speak to a manager saying they are not here today. When asked again for a managers contact details she then 'changed her mind' and pretended to be the manager herself. Staff member was extremely rude, degrading, and refused to give me her name (as she obviously knew she was in the wrong). A very nice male staff member stopped me on the way out to apologise, however the damage had been done with the disgraceful service and attitude of the female staff member. The male staff member excused the situation explaining that they have asked to be removed from the promotion list however Uber eats had not done so yet. Thats nice to know, but irrelevant to the service and agreement that was provided, as while you are still listed and actively participating in an offer allowing people to book and redeem it, you are legally obliged to honour it. If there is an issue between the business and Uber Eats, that issue should not be dumped on the customer who it has nothing to do with. Will never be returning and have advised family and friends to steer clear. First time leaving a review for a restaurant ever, but want to make sure others do not experience the same situation I have.
