I strongly suggest making a reservation. We did because we read reviews and very happy I did. Even on a week night I heard people wanting seats to a full restaurant. So was worried about it being dark and dreary but it isnt. It has a nice feel and a touch of class. Our waiter was perfect. Specialty is steak and surf. Was hoping for a chicken choice. There was a secret menu and a pork tenderloin was included in the secret menu. Housemade cornbread. It had a good flavor, served with a bacon butter, but didn’t hold its shape well so we ate it with a fork and generally made a crumbly mess. We ordered a 14 oz ribeye, which we split. They also split it in the kitchen cooking it to 2 different temps. Perfection. I would have preferred a different knife that was actually sharp. The lobster tails came with clarified butter and these were sweet and tender. We also ordered the wedge salad. It had a crispy thin fried onion, tomatoes, fried chunks of pie Kelly, and a sprinkle of Blue Cheese crumble from a local James Ranch in Durango. The wedge had a slight char. My husband’s had part of the core but we are a game of finding the core in our salads. There was also a sprinkle of champagne vinegarette along the perimeter of the plate that was divine. I would have preferred the Blue Cheese crumble and this dressing instead of the Blue Cheese dressing. The crumble was nice but the dressing overpowered the salad. We ordered the asparagus and potato to share. The asparagus with a bernaise sauce-asparagus were cooked perfectly. The sauce was ok. I would order it on the side. The potato was delicious, soft and tender, and the perfect balance of sour cream and butter. I think they probably brine the potato. It really was the perfect side for the steak. I am not a big fan of their pork belly chunks in the salad or potato. For me, they are too large and tough. I couldn’t pierce them with my fork. It’s a personal preference. Because it was so busy when we arrived, we did have to wait a bit to get our food, but it certainly wasn't because anyone was slacking. They were in constant motion, but still polite. They even took the time to chat when they had a moment to do so. The prices were comparable to other sushi places we go to for this quality. Yes, it's small and can be crowded, but it's popularity is well deserved. My son wants to return to try their pho. The atmosphere is simply delightful with the feel of actually being in Europe. Stopped by thinking it sounds good. I ordered the chopped brisket sandwhich with a mac and cheese side. My padre got the nachos. They were out of pinto beans so gave him extra pork. And we both ordered a peach cobbler. The ladies working the front are wonderful and polite, but the food was awful. See picture of brisket, and really zoom in. The fat caps were thick, unrendered and the entire thing was pink with no visible smoke ring and no bark to speak of a real grey color. When you call yourself Texas BBQ the bare minimum is a good brisket. To me it looked WAY under done. I swapped it out for the pulled pork thinking its hard to mess that up. Wrong again! Dry as all get out and even some was cooked so much it was hard. Ive never seen anyone do that to a pork butt in a smoker. Mac and cheese was basic, just cheese and noodles. Nachos were decent. And the peach cobbler had alot of mushy crust and very little peach. The sweet tea was good tho. This place should be ashamed to call themselves Texas BBQ.

Excited to get a dish I had loved before when I dinned here in the past, the dish was nothing like l've ever experienced!!! Honestly the dish needs to be reworked altogether. Couldn't taste any apple in the kimchee, which really overpowered the halibut. The fennel in the beet salad needs to be a quick pickle, you can hardly taste it. My guess is it's sitting in a bucket of pickling liquid. Pork Tenderloin Roulade had to be about 4 ounces, way too small compared to other dishes, raise the price or make all the dishes smaller. The biggest kicker is at the bottom of the menu: a posted 3% gratuity for the back of house to support "fair compensation"... you've got to be kidding me.
