The location is wonderful. Really close to the Mall Road and all major attractions of the city centre. The highest category room has one of the best views I have ever seen in Darjeeling. It’s marked at 4K a night which might be a bit expensive for people on a tight budget. The staff is cordial. The common spaces are amazing. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The property has all wooden interiors and the design and architecture is very colonial. The only drawback is that you have to climb up 5+1 flights of stairs to reach the best category room so if you’re old, have a respiratory problem, knee problems and the like, I wouldn’t recommend it, unless you believe in being resilient for a good view and clean rooms. I’m 100% staying in this hotel from now on whenever I visit Darjeeling again.
