I kept seeing this restaurant pop up on my social media. Today we made the 1hr journey each way to give it a go for lunch. It was worth the journey. Staff were just the right level of attentive from the moment we walked in. Quickly seating us and taking our first drinks order. We went for the lunchtime bottomless steak priced at £31.50. This option gives you endless ribeye and sirloin 😋 The steak is served rare and sliced with a hot rock to finish off to your liking. The sauces were fantastic. The sides we tried were garlic mushrooms, possibly the best fries and onion rings I've tasted. The manager/owner gave us our first round on the house for one of our guests birthday. Soon as the staff noticed either you're hot rock cooling down or steak running low they were at your table to replenish. Great quality meat. Perfectly portioned sides. Cocktails were very tasty and reasonably priced. The bar staff even took the time to explain how the cocktails were made and the measurements used so we can replicate at home. Do not confuse Kenzo 72 with the likes of Cosmos or any of those other world buffet restaurants. Good points, the actual cod was very nice, bad points, chips, just about cooked, I personally like my chips a little more crispy than these were. Battered sausage were not good, too much batter and sausage a little flavourless. I think if they had the batter a better consistency, more crispy, less of it, and cooked the chips for longer it would have made a nicer meal.

I ordered this Tuesday night. After I put down the phone it was delivered in 16 mins. It's 10 minutes away so that meant, 1/4 duck, 3 main dishes and egg fried rice were cooked and packaged in 6 mins...My guess was right, it was re-heated/microwaved. When it arrived it was nuclear/microwave hot/still cooking. The re-heated shredded duck was tough, chewey and dry (although microwave hot). The main dishes had congeiled sauces that had curdled and were lumpy & watery (the moisture from the veg etc had steamed up the tub in the microwave and resulted in a lot of water in the tubs which I'm guessing probably didn't help). The rice was stuck in one lump, like yesterdays chinese. Who knows when this was first cooked, maybe from the weekend previous... just Nasty. When I called to complain, they refused to pick it up and give me a refund, instead essentially told me to lump it. Will not use again. p.s. I only ate 2 hoisin rolls with the duck which made me feel ill the next day. Having dished up some of the main course, the food on the photos was pushed aside to show the congealed watery sauces, I didn't eat any of that.. all in the bin!

Tasty hamburgers and fair price, they usually have promotions with good deals. I had a couple of issues this week with uber, first they cancelled my order but the driver never arrived, and second time the driver brought the order incomplete, he missed pretty much everything. And all of that is uber's fault not this restaurant, but I wasn't able to get a refund from uber because my order was partially delivered. And the reason I'm writing all of this is because the restaurant could have just ignored me when I called them, saying it wasn't their fault (cause it wasn't) but they were really friendly and understanding of the situation. They gave me another same order completely free (I mean I had already paid but never got it anyway but that's not the point). The thing is that these guys could have looked to another side and just keep minding their business.
