Upon entry into the premises, the owner had the worst customer service and attitude. We had a large group of 15 pax and the owner was rude and attempted to turn us away, remarking that it was too “difficult” for her to accommodate customers. After much fussing and complaining, she begrudgingly gave us a table space meant for 12 pax and told us to squeeze in. Whilst we were deciding on food choices, she would regularly return to the table, passing snide remarks suggesting that we could be sitting closer and that she could make use of the table for other customers. She even had the audacity to try to remove one table whilst we were already seated (therefore trying to fit 15 pax into a space meant for 10 pax). Our group included children and when one of the child got excited and started chatting merrily with another child within the group, the owner actually “shushed” the child in front of other customers. SERVICE: 0/10 Let’s talk about the food. They’re charging $25 for a bowl of mediocre Pho which is totally not authentic and makes a mockery of the Vietnamese cuisine. No disrespect to chain and franchise restaurants but the Pho at a place like Roll’d would beat this place hands down. Portion sizes are small, spring rolls tastes like microwaved frozen spring rolls, grilled fish that was over fried and charred beyond saving. FOOD: 0/10 Overall, I would avoid at all cost. The owner gives the service industry a bad reputation. Her attitude towards us as customers was as if we murdered her beloved pet. Food was horrid and I wished I had just gone for a quick Maccas instead. Save your money and go to a different establishment.

We arrived in Kiama quite late and we needed a place to have dinner and this is one of the restaurants I found that was open later than the other restaurant around the area on a Saturday night. The entrée started off really well, we had the crying tiger and mixed entrée. Crying tiger was great! I quite enjoyed it. The mixed entrée was just ok. Unfortunately the main dish we ordered, masaman beef curry, was so watery and sweet. I was really disappointed as I quite enjoy Thai Food, but this is one of the worst I've ever had.

Five lots of people were waiting when we arrived to collect our food which was ready at the time the lady said. Given the food was “on time”, the number of waiting customers appeared to reflect that the food was good enough to justify the wait. How true! Large crisp homemade spring rolls where you could see the veggies (not a mash of unknowable) and the sweet and sour pork totally yummy!

The restaurant was buzzing with plenty activity, staff run off their feet with dining & take away /delivery orders . Very clean & well presented venue too. Upon receiving our order we walked 200 metres to our apartment and served our meals on plates . Sorry guys but a 3/5 from both of us . Serves were very generous & looked fantastic but lacked the spark I expect from a chilli basil prawn & rice dish . Mrs vegan noodle dish was plain & overcooked. The meals just didn’t have that mouth explosion of flavour that is expected within 3-5 seconds of the first bite to the last , something vital was missing or the head chef was off duty that evening. The restaurant was empty upon our arrival, and we were directed to any table by a team member.
