The menu carers for everyone so whilst some dishes are authentic Thai, others are Thai inspired. Flavours, textures and presentation are all good and consistent though. Pad Thai, Pad see ew and many other noodle dishes are available, along with nother non Thai dishes such as Hokkien noodles. Dessert consists mainly of ice-cream however there is one Thai inspired which is the mango and sticky rice. If you're looking for more authentic Thai dishes including Thai desserts, you need to look elsewhere. The dishes here are more to what locals would be familiar with. For the most parts Andaman Thai restaurant is enjoyable for a delightful meal to enjoy with your friends and loved ones. On this occasion the restaurant was bustling and full. Everyone loves Japanese food and if you can’t decide what to eat being the first restaurant heading into the village makes it a simple choice. The sushi house does not have a sushi train nor do they offer ramen. Ordering needs to be made and paid first. The food is average, bit overpriced priced and portion is somewhat small. For example, the Teriyaki salmon meal was served on a huge square plate, with rice, salad and salmon one on each corner with one corner left empty (there’s more plate than food!). Please note sauce is not free, it’ll cost you $1 if you need other types of sauce other than soy. The worst part of the restaurant is their hygiene, all the surfaces including tables and floors were covered in grease, you could almost slide your way to your seat. While Moon sushi might be the local Japanese restaurant, there’s nothing special on the menu that I would see myself revisiting them in the future.

The reviews are very mixed for this Korean style BBQ experience; it seems people either love it or hate it. We arrived on a Friday night to a sparsely filled dining room. Seated at our table the first thing you notice is that the floor is slippery. Not from tiles but from oil that has gathered on the ground and not been properly cleaned. The tables and remaining decor are ok, soft lighting and a round fire pit inside square laminex tables. There is an exhaust fan above each fire pit that looks like an alien medical device which is lowered above your hot coals to capture the smoke made by the cooking process. We ordered a few drinks and were served by the wonderful Axel. This was probably the most attentive service we received the whole night as Axel must have finished their shift and we were pretty much left without water being refilled (without going up and asking) and no checks on food quality or, well, anything really. We had a table of six adults so decided to ordered the large platter of various meats. It comes in at about $250 so it’s not cheap. We also ordered a plate of veggies as an addition. To be honest maybe the concept isn’t for me. Cooking your own meat at the table felt like we were paying to do the work and the coals were barely hot enough to get a good level of heat to make cooking fun. It was just a bit laborious. The table is also filled with lots of little bowls with sauces and garnishes. This seems nice but means there isn’t much room for the platter of meats. The quality of the meats was pretty average and some of the combinations on the platter a bit weird. I’m sure they have fried chicken in Korea but served with wedges was a bit odd? Also the lettuce leaves in the black sesame salad we’re off colour where they had been cut, not a great sign for freshness. The good things… the seafood pancake was really nice. Even the non sea foodies liked it. To sum everything up it was meh. Would I go again? Probably not.

From service to serving sizes. It's become really stingy 😒 The alcohol list is very limited and missing decent wine (Korean and western) options. The waitresses have zero formal training and wander around (if at all) aimlessly. The service, sizes and presentation is on par of about 30-50% less in what it used to be. Have been back 3 times since new owners and this will be the last. Being disappointed, every time and over charged. Update... so I went back only a few days after this review was left as we were invited by another family. Same $h!t, different day.
