We were sat by the back door, so every time someone went outside a blast of cold air hit us — not exactly comfortable. We could hear the kitchen staff chatting about their week, and the chef shouting at servers for not moving quick enough because “everyone was standing around.” My husband’s chicken came out undercooked and bloody — completely unsafe to eat. Food like that could honestly make someone seriously ill. Nobody checked in on us during the meal or asked if we wanted more drinks. We didn’t even bother complaining because what could they have done at that point? We just paid and left. Poor service, poor food, and potentially dangerous to serve. Other diners were also served fantastic looking meals which I wished that I'd had room to order as well. Very busy with locals, who clearly know how good this cafe is. My boyfriend had the brie, grape and walnuts on granary bread.He said that it was the best ever.We also shared a bakewell cake. This was so good we didn't have time to photograph it! Drinks are about average for Kings Lynn. * The waitress encouraged us to order a side of rice for £3 extra which was not required as the Thai Green Curry came with it anyway. Upselling in this manner should not be happening as it's contradicting when they stated it does not come with rice. * The goat was nice but had more bones as opposed to meat present on there. Disappointing when major competitors provide a better offering. * Dated toilets. A bit tired interior. Needs some refurbishment. Overall we were disappointed and would be reluctant to visit again. 4/10.

We were served quickly by well spoken staff. Our food arrived fairy quickly, but was hot and very tasty. We had pudding as well which was also really good. The service was great. The only thig I wish they did have was sharper cutlery. I had to cut up my pizza with the cutter for each little piece, the knife had not impact, but I will not mark my experience down on cutlery. Food arrived 20 minutes after initially ordering, before I had started my meal, the wife found a very long black hair wrapped around her chicken burger. Spoke with the manager for the night and had refunded - told her that the staff should have hairnets on.....maybe if they were worn correctly. Whilst having this conversation my wife found yet another hair in her meal. Asked for escalation which we obtained and left hungry. Attempted to contact the 'KFC "Care" Team' but they were "closed". This is a bit of a concern given that the the KFC in question was still serving substandard food until the "care" team were back in action. On the 26th, I wrote an email regarding our experience and complaint along with a photo. We had a response on the 27th stating that it was most unusual that this would happen. An "apology" was made and said they would do better and hope to see us again!? I replied to this emailed signalling me disappointment and received another message with another half hearted copy and pasted response of an apology. One with zero empathy, accountability or indeed sincerity. I understand that this is a franchise, but KFC as a company will be taking a large chunk of profit from this. They distance themselves with complaints but strangely like to take plaudits for good review....Im sorry but this does not work both ways! Two weeks on and feel that a review will at least raise awareness of KFC failings... both in the restaurant AND the "care team" as I have very little confidence that they will have actioned anything. If you are to take a look at the responses of other reviews of poor experiences and you will see what I mean - and they get paid for this??? Should be labelled the 'couldn't care less team'. This experience was ultimately our fault. We were hungry after along travel. We did not head the warnings from the reviews.The reviews for KFC speak for themselves and we did not take them on. In retrospect, the food standard agency should have been contacted. We will not be having this food again. Customers beware.

The quality has been going down gradually over the last few years, add to that items that are constantly "unavailable", and I'm sorry to say but this has to be the worst McDonald's restaurant in the whole of Kings Lynn and the surrounding area! It appears they can't even get an order correct either, having asked for no onions on my burger and STILL finding some when I opened it up, just to check. Good job I did, but having made a special order, and knowing how their system sends special offers through to the kitchen (a family member worked at this very restaurant a few years ago), I don't see how they can mess up "no onions", ESPECIALLY at 9:30pm! I HIGHLY doubt the restaurant was rushed off their feet when my order came in! So either the delivery service didn't come straight to me, or the food was already cool when it was picked up, hence why its stone cold or pastorally melted. And again, I live less than *2 miles* from this restaurant. I also seem to have gotten half a serving of Mcflurry, but this happens so often now, it doesn't even surprise me anymore, which is even sadder in my opinion, my expectations are that low when it comes to this franchise. The owner and managers should be ashamed of themselves, serving this slop to their customers, at higher and higher prices, serving less and less food or drink per portion, whilst appearing to use chronically inferior quality ingredients than ever before, if that's even possible! But you see for yourself and tell me if this smoothie serving is normal, or if this is a typical McFlurry portion, or is it an insult based on how much it cost to buy this drink and sweet treat? I think my days buying anything from West Lynn McDonald's are well and truly over! I cannot justify the cost when the meal is of such poor quality, time and time again. Its a shame, but I'm tired of paying now money for less and worse quality food. And I've not even mentioned the state the food comes in! Burgers that have CLEARLY been thrown together, sauce dripping out of the side of the bun, cheese slice hanging half on half off. We all know its "fast" food, but they don't need to compete in speed run trials over who can make a bigger the quickest. Quality and presentation matter just as much, I don't think people want their food just thrown together and chucked at them. Well, at least, *I* don't. McDonald's used to be a good deal, now it's a rip off, you've put up the process but haven't improved the quality. Hence me *justifiably* calling a rip off! Shame on the boss! And no, I've not taken a single bite of the ice cream, this is how it came.
