I had the stroganoff which was really good! The meat was cooked well and I liked the sauce. We split a tiramisu which was also pretty good. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Three of us ordered prime rib, of various temperatures, but not one was really edible. For example, I ordered mine medium and it was delivered about 10 minutes past "shoe leather". The mashed potatoes, which were the only side option for the night on all of our meals, were instant (and poorly made), many of us got cold corn as well. Dinner rolls were suppose to be served with all meals, but it wasn't until my wife finally voiced her displeasure that our group of 13 was presented with four (yes, 4!!!) rolls. Our server may have refilled 3 members of our party's beverages, though many requests were made. If the restaurant was busy or short staffed, this would not have irritated me so much, but there were two other tables seated by the time we were served (and one of them left before ordering because they had been neglected for so long). We would have left to eat elsewhere too, but due to the time we had to board the train, we didn't have time to go into Elkins to eat at this point. I have never written a bad review on a restaurant, and I have had plenty of experiences that would merit one, but this was BY FAR the absolute WORST dining experience I have ever had. I am embarrassed to have suggested this location to our family. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

My dessert was a apple pie. We both had a enjoyable experience there. The bar is right outside the entrance to the restaurant. Once the bar filled up. It did get quite noisy to the point you couldn't hear the modern jazz style music.

I'll sum it up as decent food for a premium price. We each had an entree and one beer, and we split a salad, and the total bill with tip came to $127. At that price I expect spectacular.
