Parking is available near the Visitor Center or across the street. If you do park across the street there is a walkway that goes under the road for easy access. Not only do you get some great views of the waterfalls you will also get some history of the town. White water rapids are a big draw here as you will see by the life siz3e display at the Visitor Center. There are also several platforms near here so you can get some wonderful views of the falls and river. The staff were wonderful and very knowledgeable of the park and activities around it. THey have a small gift shop and you can also get your Passport stamps at the desk. When you walk around outside you will see many informational displays that have mini bronze statues. I found these exceptional and unique for kids and those with limited vision. I am not sure if I photographed them all but I did my best as you will see in the photos I have attached. Expect a lot of walking with the numerous trails here and be safe when by the water. We saw some kids and adults playing in the river but in designated sections. If you are hungry, you just need to cross the street for several open eateries in town.

We did the biking trip starting in Coeur d'Alene ID and riding for four days. This was an amazing trip.
