You can’t beat the view out on the deck. Prices were definitely high as most seafood places are but weren’t exorbitant. The biggest issue with this place is the parking. Unbelievably we were told to sit and wait until a third seat may become available. They didn’t even bother to ask if the couple would be willing to swap. This made no sense to me as they could always say no and I would have respected that. So, I spoke to the couple myself, giving them the option. They said of course, we’d be happy to switch. This is where it gets crazy. Chan, the bartender slammed his hand down on the counter and yelled in anger these are my clients! It was so uncomfortable, my son wanted to leave right away. We quickly went back to the seat of two feeling just so shamed, embarrassed and shunned. The sweet couple came over and said please take our seats. I only did so in response to their kindness and out of respect for my husband’s birthday. At the end of the night, I shook Chan’s hand and and apologized twice for causing him such distress thinking perhaps he might extend an olive branch as well for his curt behavior and the sake of the restaurant he represents but no such luck. We absolutely loved the food- our calamari and seared scallops tasted "clean" which for us means "free of excess seasoning and spices" which is how we enjoy our sesfood. Above the quality of the food, I'd really like to highlight their service. Despite the circumstances of temporary relocation of their restaurant, their operation runs like a well-oiled machine. The staff was exceptionally attentive and genuinely friendly. They also offer complimentary valet which was s thoughtful touch. I highly recommend their house wine which was excellent. Also a special thank-you to our server, Sabrina, who was kind, helpful, and made our evening even more enjoyable. This is a restaurant is an example of excellence in both service and hospitality in every manner. I look forward to coming back on our next visit to RI.

I have no idea if this place is that busy every Friday or not or if it’s just that busy because indeed it was a holiday weekend. They asked if we had reservations, I did not know that we needed them. They did escort us over to the raw bar, and we had full service with a fantastic server by the name of Braxton. Every other servers that we came in contact with were all excellent. The place was hopping the food came out in timely fashion. the drinks came out very quickly. We also ordered food to go, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. We did get the fried oyster po-boys and they were fantastic! The oysters are sweet. They were lightly fried. The french fries were excellent from the time they were placed in front of me until I was done eating. I am so happy that they’re doing so well at this point in time and actually think this tent idea could be a permanent thing for the season. The menu is excellent, there is so much to choose from it was really challenging. We were there at the late afternoon just before dinner hour and hence weren’t looking for a full meal. The food other than the clamcakes is subpar. It's like they have given up and based on the visitors coming they seem to thinknthey can get away with high prices and basic food. Thank God for the Wick Stixx that not only kept our daughter busy, but us too. Also it was my first time at Trio and for Father's Day too. I was assured the food and ambience were second to none. Also they should've put patio heaters on early as it's quite chilly on the patio.

Sat at the bar, ordered a couple of drinks, and began checking out the menu, I was torn between the fish sandwich and their "legendary" pizza. I figured I would give the pizza a try, as the description of the fish sandwich was blah at best. (I mean, it was your absolute standard lettuce tomato on a bulky roll) Our food arrived quick and hot, which is always nice. The pizza could easily feed 2 people. The crust was light a little on the thin side, not too thin, though. It didn't really taste like a pizza dough, but it was still absolutely delicious. We ordered the Ron Swanson, which is tomato sauce, whipped ricotta, double pepperoni, fresh garlic, hot honey & red pepper flakes. We added mushrooms & black olives in addition, just for good measure. Based on that amount of product, you would think this would have been as heavy as a brick, while hefty, it was actually lite and this is where the magic happens. Their dough is outstanding, due to a very involved process, it's as lite as air & crispy. From the first bite you can tell that there's a commitment to quality & that they take their craft seriously. Will definitely be returning & trying different items. Lastly, the guys behind the counter are super friendly & courteous.

We stopped in at night and were pleasantly surprised. The young woman was very nice to my family. The nutella and stawberry crepe was really good (get the whip cream it tastes better). We also had a savory crepe which was good. They range from sweet, to breakfast and savory. If your looking for something light and dofferent go here. It's located in a little strip of stores. There's not an abundance of parking here but you can find some. Great addition of a store to this strip. And to the young lady who works there my family was the one qho suggested Stawberry jam.😉

There was no need or reason for her to laugh in my face upon my second request to stir the sugar and Caramel that layed there in the cup. Nor was it her responsibility to fix it. And finally the yelling she started because she wanted to validate her mistake and not own or take accountability for her actions was absurd!!! Back in the 90s, we stirred the ice coffee, always, period. Why with coffee being nearly $4 a cup, do we even have to request someone to stir our coffee??? It's common sense, just like when you make Kool-aid. Do you leave the sugar on the bottam and drink it without stirring??? Anyway, I will make my own from here on out!!
