For the price, I feel like a beverage probably should have been included as I have gone to other nice resorts with similar concepts and either spent less or had more. So, just a thought. We loved the wagyu slides, wedge salad and surf & turf. The cocktails were also great. Dessert was subpar as was the chowder and oysters. We ordered the fish and chips, calamari, tofu wrap, and their house burger. Everything was delish. My favorite was the fish and chips. The atmosphere is really cool and modern, but it’s just one of those places that the employees and owners are way more interested in talking to each other than you. I did dine on my own, at the bar. The menu was great. I was able to make the substitution to the Poké bowl…that being said it was more than $20 for a Poké bowl, which was a little bit high. I have just recently discovered how delicious they are and it’s one of my go to now, but this one was not very big for the price. The fish was really delicious and there were no issues with the flavor whatsoever. We hit 5-6 breweries during our trip and I found all the beer (IPA Drinker) to be just ok. It is a wonderful steak house with upscale food. The presentation and options are excellent. Our server was wonderful and attentive. My steak, New York aged, was perfectly cooked and seasoned— the mushroom glaze was a lovely addition that did not overpower the steak but gently complimented it. My husband had the filet minion and he enjoyed the bacon butter and stated it was cooked wonderfully, both medium rare. We also had the Caesar salad, though it was excellent— this is the only Caesar salad my husband will eat— it use to be better when it was made table side. In fact their table side is what makes this restaurant truly exceptional. I also had the potato’s au gratin. The potatoes were perfectly cooked—maintaining their structure whilst proving to remain soft to the palate. The flavor of cheese and perfectly broiled top, added a layered taste experience. My husband ordered the paper plane drink, table side. As the waiter, Sy, made the drink his pride and effort was transparent and later tasted when the drink was completed. My husband truly enjoyed the walnut bitters at the end of each sip. Finally the bananas fosters, once again table side— really should never be made any other way. They were perfect. The bananas were at the peak of ripeness, structurally perfect (al dente) and flavor substantial, the syrup was perfectly balanced between sugar, cinnamon, butter and rum. The flavors balanced to create an excellent bananas foster. The vanilla gelato were two scoops of excellent vanilla flavors that created complimentary flavors with the bananas. The dining room is well laid out, with tiered seating, so that every table has a great view of Lake Tahoe. It's a perfect sunset viewing location. Consider looking up what time sunset is and planning your dinner reservation for a little before that time. We were celebrating our anniversary (and indicated that in our reservation) so they started our night with a complimentary small pour of champagne to celebrate. We had been back and forth on what entrees to order, so we decided to skip an appetizer (although the bread and butter looked so fluffy and yummy) and split 3 entrees between the two of us. We had the Beef (Wagyu Filet with purple potatoes and au poivre), the Trout (with Sauce Nage, asparagus, and morels) and the House Made Corn Agnolotti (Cacio e Pepe and corn). All three dishes were incredible. The trout dish was light. The beef dish was so savory. And the agnolotti was absolutely to die for. For dessert we chose the deconstructed tiramisu which was the best tiramisu I've ever had. There was a thin cookie that gave this delightful crispy texture that I often find is missing in tiramisu. And because we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary there was a small white chocolate piece that said, "Happy Anniversary" on our dessert. After finishing everything, the servers brought us complimentary dark chocolate from the in-house chocolatier. An amazing experience all around.

The Hell's Kitchen is located inside the Caesar's Republic casino, but its entrance is right off the main street entrance to the casino. I think every single person should order the Wagyu Meatballs appetizer. I am still daydreaming about the polenta croutons. As a self described foodie and home cook, and long time show watcher the staff didnt disappoint from the chefs to the waiters. It took a minute for food to get there but once it did it gave an experience that is seldomly felt. The deer in the headlights mocktail is incredible. So is the chocolate orange triffle. The beef wellington was even better than described and the rack of lamb was amazing. I would gladly come again after my bank account recovers was worth every bite. Our waitress was really awesome an attentive and anticipated our needs. If you dont get an appetizer it will take a minute for food to get there but good food takes time great food might take a bit longer.

The renovations are disruptive and rooms are still decorated like Hard Rock We had a really upsetting experience during our stay and unfortunately, the way the hotel handled it made everything worse. On our first night, a dealer in the casino made a racially insensitive comment to me. We reported it right away, filled out a report, and were told someone would follow up the next day. No one ever did. We followed up while checking out and were asked to fill out the report again, and still heard nothing. In the end, we were offered a refund of one night's resort fee (less than $50) and that was through our credit card company, not even the hotel itself. Zero communication or apology from management. To make matters worse, we overheard other guests getting free rooms because their TVs didn’t work. Ours didn’t either but we didn’t complain because that seemed minor. Meanwhile, we were dealing with a serious issue and were completely brushed off. We chose this hotel specifically to enjoy the onsite casino but after that experience, we didn’t feel comfortable or welcome and had to go elsewhere. The way this was handled was unacceptable, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you expect to be treated with basic respect.

Called housekeeping 3 times staying on hold for 10 minutes each no one would ever answer. Started calling guest services after a 30 minute hold, finally got someone to answer to request fresh towels and washcloths. Our shower would not drain, I had to physically remove the grey grate system that covers the drain and remove God knows who’s hair 🤮. Housekeeping never made the beds, never took out trash, the hallway was littered with scraps and pieces of garbage along the hall. Bar across from the blackjack table, servers were nice. There was some not so great English speaking individuals working the coffee bar/breakfast place so your coffee order was, well let’s just hope for the best. Construction didn’t bother us at all.

However, our last stay here this past week was very disappointing in the service department specifically the Pool, Valet, and whoever is in charge of setting up anniversary gifts in the rooms. For this price point and top tier hotel the service should be expected to be top tier as well. We want to come back every year to stay here but the service is making us consider other options. The staff was super friendly and welcoming (unfortunately, most of the spaces I visited in the area weren't). The pastries were absolutely delicious. The goal was to visit a different coffee shop daily, but I couldn't resist stopping in again. Not sure if there are a lot of options in the area for hotpot. Service was great, servers were friendly and helpful. Occasionally checked up on us, but the restaurant wasn't to busy when we were there end of May on a Wednesday. Angry Shrimp and Tahoe Buffalo wings were excellent. So much flavor and fried to perfection. Those are a must order! For the hotpot, we ordered Vegetable and Tahoe broth - both were light in flavor, maybe on the bland side. I normally prefer the lighter flavors and this was even too light. The meat cut and portions are good quality, vegetables that come with the meat combos are enough for 2 people max, so order extra. A bonus is that they have 3 delicious dipping sauces that I basically ended up cooking the meats in the broth, dipping in the sauces, then into the mouth. They have other broth flavors that may be more flavorful, but just make a note on the two I mentioned. Restaurant is clean and very decorated, they share a parking lot and it wasn't crowded when we were there. I'm sure if I came back in the winter I would find my way here again!

But I will say that I got hungry not too long after we left the restaurant, so while the volume of food was a lot, it wasn't that much in terms of calories, fat, and protein to keep you feeling full.
