We had an amazing breakfast at café Blossom! The ricotta lemon pancakes were absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked. The toppings provided were just a great matching. The two cheesecakes I tried were also very fresh and tasty and had multiple taste layers. The omelette was also nicely cooked - not raw and not dry. Coffee was excellent too and I appreciated the information regarding the origin of the beans. Price are in the norm for the Hague.
Service was great too, with two helpful and patient waiters that accommodated our group that had two children.
I'm quite happy with the experience and would love to come back to try the lunch options!

Blossom is een informele zaak waarbij samen een hapje eten, een kop koffie drinken, gewoon even de krant lezen hand in hand gaan. Stopped by for lunch today at Club Vers and I was pretty pleased with the food quality. The avocado smash grilled chicken sandwich was a nice big. Though it lacked enough avocado smash, it was definitely layered with great combination of flavours.
In terms of price, I do think that some of the items on the menu are quite pricey for the portions/ quality.
In addition, the service quality was not great. I had to wait some time before getting served because the workers were busy chatting it up in the back.
Overall, I was still pleased with what I ate. I think if you’re in the area, it’s a nice spot to stop by and grab lunch but nothing I’d recommend to go out of your way for.

We voelden ons niet serieus genomen en na wat overleg met de medewerkster (die ons trouwens wel heel fijn geholpen heeft) was het ook nog teveel moeite om hun excuses voor het voorval aan te bieden. Zeker niet aan te raden en al helemaal niet voor iemand met coeliakie.

Vandaag voor de eerste keer hier geweest, al voelde het direct zo vertrouwd alsof we hier wekelijks komen.
De aankleding binnen is jaren '80 waar voldoende is te zien. Buiten voor het restaurant zijn er meerdere zitjes. Als je niet heel vroeg komt heb je daar ook zon (wij vandaag dus net niet).
Nu kom ik nooit in een restaurant enkel voor de aankleding, maar meer voor het eten en geloof mij dat is hier goed! Omdat er op de kaart te veel lekkers staat hebben we een hulplijn in moeten schakelen.
Hierdoor hebben we het volgende gekregen:
1. Southern Fried Chicken en Waffles.
De naam zegt het al een beetje, maar dit zijn wafels met bbq saus, maple stroop/siroop en kip. Hierbij was de wafel zoals ik hem lekker vind hard van buiten en zacht van binnen. De kip was GBD (golden brown delicious) van buiten en super mals van binnen. De BBQ saus was perfect, wel aanwezig maar niet overheersend.
2. Crack Egg.
Foutspul, want dit is echt mega verslavend. Scrambled egg, Cheddar en bacon op een brioche broodje afgetopt met Sriracha Mayonaise. Het delen hiervan is ons maar net zonder ruzie gelukt.
3. Better Than French Toast
Mijn beschrijving gaat dit geen recht aan doen. Een bakje met croissant deeg, rood fruit en nog iets. De zoete afmaker en het laatste stukje comfort food op deze ochtend.

There are also plenty of toys for kids to play with while you sit. We came for brunch and had coffees and the pancake stacks. For such good reviews, we walked for half hour to this place, and we were left a bit disappointed.
We stayed outside, and the tables were dirty, the chairs a bit shaky and there was glass and salt all over the floor.
We ordered some drinks, a smash burger and some fried chicken. The match blueberry lemonade tasted weird, maybe too much matcha, you could barely taste the blueberry or lemon.
The smash burger was okay, a bit too greasy and not much flavour to it, but nicely sized. The fried chicken was good, but it was more bread than chicken, and just covered in sauce. And all this took about half hour to arrive. And expensive for how simple it was.
The staff were nice and polite, but I was expecting more of such a highly rated place.

Recently I visited TEDS in The Hague for the first time, and it was a great experience! The cozy atmosphere and stylish interior made for a relaxed brunch. The crew is friendly, welcoming, proactive and helpful.
I had the Eggs Norwegian: two perfectly poached eggs on a buttery croissant roll with salmon, hollandaise, and a touch of caviar.
On the side I had avocado and bacon, which complemented the dish nicely.
For drinks, I went with the Pineapple Margarita, which was sweet (which I like), refreshing, and paired well with the rich flavors of the eggs.
To finish, I had their Rocky Brownie Caramel alongside a cappuccino - a deliciously indulgent end to the meal.
TEDS serves brunch all day, with a wide variety of both savory and sweet options.
I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in The Hague and looking for a tasty, laid-back brunch spot.

Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und man fühlt sich sehr wohl dort.

We opted for high tea for 4. 2 adults and 2 kids (7 & 12). The portions were big (macarons not in picture). The avocado toast was very yummy with the teriyaki sauce and garnishes; very flavourful. The tartlets and the matcha cherry crumble are my personal favourites for the sweets. The high tea also came with 2 drinks. It was very nice to try out different kind of tea variety. Staff was friendly and accommodating. It was a lovely experience to celebrate my birthday there since I love matcha. 🥰 (I did not inform the staff that it was my birthday).

1. Morning glory had only buns with jam which were tasty. The omlette with corn bread is quite dry, so i had to ask for more butter. The pancakes are super-dense, it's more like a biscuit, not a pancake. Pancakes should be light, airy, not that dense. I wish i could cut that pancake, make a few holes with my fork, fill it with sauce and make a cake of it with chocolate on top...

I had the savoury pancakes made with kimchi and chicken and it was a very positive experience! Tried the pink latte and while it is a tad sweet, it is not overwhelmingly so, and it's served with a chocolate, which is always welcome.
I then tried the strawberry frapucino and the blue coconut vegan whipped cream was actually super good!
Overall very nice experience, even if the last coffee took some time to get to the table :)

Perron X Caffè in The Hague is a really cool spot with a funky rustic look that gives it a unique character. The interior has a cozy, relaxed vibe but still feels stylish and welcoming. I tried the dirty matcha and it was excellent – smooth, flavorful, and one of the best I’ve had. The service is also outstanding, very friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. The first time we went to this place. It was a great vibe for a breakfast. The coffee was extremely good for our taste, and the coffee roast is something really special. A large variety of filter coffee bean options (V60) and most are definitely quite good! Also decent toasties! If you're looking for something sweet I would definitely recommend the banana bread! Also bought the beans for home (under the name "Nosegrind") turned out pretty spectacular, lots of strawberry and fruity notes. I'd say definitely one of the best coffee places in The Hague and definitely worth a visit!

The staff was nice, but that was it. In theory this should be a great place for a quick bite and coffee, and a good spot with a great view, but noone seems to have the necessary experience here. The staff is very young and seemed unsure in their behaviour, and the food was very pricy. It's okay for me to pay for good, well prepared food (which I got in other places in Den Haag), but my 12€ sandwich tasted old and was mostly lettuce. I first had to remind them to clean the table cause there was still leftover from the last guest. When I waited to pay for my food, I saw that one of the staff members was preparing food and was wiping her hand on her jeans in-between touching ingredients. Sorry, but basic hygiene is not debatable.
It would be great if they could liven up the place and fix the issues, cause there would be potential.

A lovely cafe with good breakfast options. We wanted to try out something a bit away from the beach and those restaurants/cafes targeted mainly for tourists. And our search led us to this cafe.
We had breakfast here. They serve breakfast all day so that is definitely a plus for even those who wants to sleep long. 😃
The cafe is well visited but there were only 2 people in the cafe and they seemed a bit overwhelmed. We had to wait around 15-20 minutes till we could even give our order. We ordered the option Party breakfast. But the lady forgot if we ordered with cheese or bacon and came back and asked with bacon and we said yes. But they billed us 1€ extra because they thought with both cheese and bacon. Probably it was bit miscommunication because of different languages. Also we had to wait another 30-40 minutes till we got our food.
Another thing the owner/worker’s dog was walking around in the cafe. Especially every time the dog owner came by to serve food or take order the dog came along. Also he was free to sniff around and go around to people. It’s a plus for dog lovers to have a friendly dog around but an Info for those who doesn’t like it that much.

It is a very cozy place. Toast with cheese, tomato and jalapeño is delicious. But service is super slow. phenomenal food; i ordered the turkish eggs and my partner ordered the quesadilla. the turkish eggs were very refreshing, i loved the use of fresh herbs and pickled onion. the quesadilla was crunchy, but it worked really well with the abundance of flavourful filling. we additionally ordered two iced coffees, which were lovely too !
the service was sweet; the waiter came up to us almost immediately as we sat down with menus in both dutch and english. our food was ready in about ten minutes or less. in total, two iced coffees and two full meals cost us 26 euros.

Zó onwijs lekker gegeten bij ' t Pannekoekhuisje te Scheveningen. We kregen het niet op want de pannekoeken zijn zeer goed gevuld en krijg je écht waar voor je geld. Malieveld Pavilion is a charming eatery known for its delicious poffertjes and pancakes. The friendly staff, some of whom have been working there for decades, provide excellent service. The place is owned by the same family since 1953 and features beautiful old pictures inside. It's conveniently located close to the train station and adjacent to a peaceful deer park. Visitors can enjoy generous portions of food, including classic Dutch dishes cooked to perfection, as well as refreshing cherry lemonade.

We wilden graag poffertjes eten in een gezellige sfeer en daarom gekozen voor dit paviljoen aan de rand van groen en kijken naar de stad. Helaas waren de poffertjes niet allemaal gaar.
