De Pier in Den Haag, also known as Scheveningen Pier, is a popular recreational spot with both enclosed and open-air decks. It offers a variety of casual restaurants and thrilling activities like bungee jumping. The pier provides an enjoyable experience for visitors, combining leisurely strolls with attractions and dining options. Situated on the Scheveningen boulevard, it serves as a charming location to relax while enjoying scenic views of the North Sea.
Great pier! It was extremely windy outside. Inside the pier you could hear the wind, but it was cozy and the ocean view is great. There are a lot of food options to choose from, clean facilities and nice atteactions like a ferries wheel, zip line and Bungee jumping (we only came for food). It's nice to be able to choose between the two decks.

Located at Scheveningen Pier is the Netherlands' first Ferris wheel, which hovers over the sea and offers spectacular views of the 11 km long beach and the skyline of The Hague. A ride on the Ferris wheel takes about 20 minutes. The enclosed cabins are air-conditioned. Tickets for the Ferris wheel can be purchased online.

De Pier in The Hague is a vibrant and iconic destination that offers a truly memorable experience on the Dutch coast. The location combines beautiful views of the North Sea, unique attractions like the Ferris wheel over the water, and a lively boardwalk with something for everyone, from foodies to thrill-seekers. The panoramic views from De Pier are simply breathtaking, whether you're enjoying a drink on the terrace, savoring local cuisine at one of the restaurants, or taking a ride on the Ferris wheel. Watching the sunset over the beach from this spot is an unforgettable highlight. De Pier is a must-visit when in The Hague. Whether you're after beautiful ocean views, great food and drinks, or some thrilling activities, you'll leave with wonderful memories and a desire to return.

⭐ De Pier – A must-visit by the sea! Absolutely loved my time at De Pier! 🌊 Beautiful views of the North Sea, cool ocean breeze, and a lively boardwalk full of food, drinks, and fun activities. Whether you’re looking to relax, take amazing photos, or just enjoy a nice walk over the water – this place is perfect. Bonus: there’s even a bungee jump and Ferris wheel for thrill-seekers! 🎡 Great spot to spend an afternoon – highly recommended!

De Pier in Scheveningen offers a fantastic mix of seaside fun and great views. The long pier stretching out over the North Sea provides a unique setting for a stroll, with plenty of food stalls, cafés and the highlight: the Ferris wheel and bungee‑/zip‑line activities. On the practical side: the weather and wind can really impact comfort (bring a jacket!), and some visitors feel parts of the pier are showing their age, especially upstairs and in the facilities. Overall: a lively, photo‑worthy destination that works well for an afternoon out by the sea.
Mudassir A — Google review
De Pier is a beautiful place to walk and enjoy the sea view. The atmosphere is lively, and the ocean breeze makes it even more relaxing. A must-visit spot in The Hague!
Mariam — Google review
Amazing spot to visit. The pier itself has a massive selection of stuff to eat and do ranging from trampoline park to bungee jumping over the water. We rode the Ferris wheel and it was definitely worth the price - great views and nice long ride. Also the entire area around the pier is lively and vibrant with many vendors and people to see. This area is a must visit when in the area!
Scott O — Google review
Beautiful place to walk on / through or by when visiting the beach. > Great view from any place on the Pier with many areas to take a break and sit down. > Many stores and things to look at, to do or food to eat. > Horribly communicated opening and closing times / path ways, being the only downside. Oh and great to stay under if you need shelter from the sun!

The Pier SkyView, located at the end of the Scheveningen pier, offers breathtaking views of the ocean and coastline. This giant ferris wheel stands 50 meters above sea level and provides an unforgettable experience with its private gondolas for afternoon tea or a romantic SkyDinner. The sunset views from this vantage point are particularly stunning, making it a perfect spot for couples.
Great view and it feels like a little adventure - when you are up and surrounded by the sea. Ride is approx. for 13-14 minutes. Tickets can be bought on the spot, there is a queue but the wait is not long.

Fabulous bird view. Stunning as the sky was clear blue. Magical. Also. Have a stroll on the boulevard and treat yourself to a lovely dinner on the “strip”. Especially when the evening start and lights illuminate the beautiful beach.

We've done similar attractions that were nicer like the one in Montreal and The Eye in London. Felt more professional. This felt a bit like a carnival ride. Nice enough, love that the pods are air conditioned but they could use a cleaning. Othe people may enjoy this event more than we did. Wasn't awful, wast great. The surrounding area is also a bit jersey shore to me. Just not our thing.
Tam C — Google review
We visited The Pier SkyView and it was such a special experience. The views over the sea and beach were absolutely stunning, and the cozy cabins made the ride extra comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable moment by the sea!
A. C — Google review
Opened in 2016, this is Europe’s first Ferris wheel built over the sea, rising about eight meters above the North Sea. With a height of around 45 meters, it offers sweeping views of the coastline and the city skyline. A ride lasts between 12 and 20 minutes, making it a perfect way to take in the scenery. Sunset is an especially romantic time to enjoy the experience.

We enjoyed this, the view was great from the top, I think it was a bit too expensive at €11 per person and there was 4 of us, however we did go round a good few times.

Sea Life Scheveningen is a family-friendly aquarium located in The Hague's seaside district. Since its opening in 1991, it has been home to a diverse array of marine species from around the globe, including sharks, rays, sea turtles, and tropical fish. The aquarium features thematic areas representing various marine habitats such as coral reefs, the Atlantic Ocean, and the North Sea.
A very interesting aquatic museum. At the entrance, the little ones receive a map and participate in a mysterious treasure hunt while visiting the museum. In a projection room, they can draw and see how their drawings come to life once they have been scanned.

Very, very impressive. I didn't expect to see such a big variety of fish. Don't hesitate to visit this aquarium. For kids this will be a big waw!
Dumitru D — Google review
A very small sea life . I spent 20 minutes there. I was disappointed. A dozen or so years ago, there were jellyfish, but now there are none. It's a great attraction for small children. As an adult, I felt somewhat dissatisfied.

Sea Life in Scheveningen was a fun experience. The aquariums were accompanied with interesting information on the inhabitants and the ecosystems they usually live in. My personal highlight was the otter, I could have spent hours watching that little guy groom, take a swim, relax.
Stephanie P — Google review
Quite interesting for the kids, stylized interior, one can take pictures as souvenirs then printed or as magnets in the souvenir shop at the exit.
Anna M — Google review
It was a great experience with a wide variety of fish and sea creatures. It’s very well presented. A bit small for the ticket price, but still worth a visit.

A very nice oceanarium with lots of species of fish, sea creatures and more!
Elis P — Google review
Fully recommended. I did enjoy my visiting. Super well organized, since the moment they welcome you at the entrance. Every description on the walls is bilingual, the staff as well. They have feeding of the animals every hour at different locations. A huge variety of animals. Well treated. Interactive and not boring at all.

A beautiful large park with both dunes and forestry, you can find shade and nice walking paths but at the same time the sun and sand if that's what you like. The farm and restaurant is okay and there are facilities for kids which is great. All in all a nice park.

Very nice stop within the dunes of Scheveningen. Nice food. Nice atmosphere.

Beautiful walks in the dunes and "lekker uitwaien" on the beach. On clear, sunny days, Noordwijk upwards the beach is visible, and towards south you can see all the way to the pier in Hoek van Holland 😍😎
Eniko R — Google review
A beautiful fairytale dune, clear waters and sandy hills all the way to the sea. There is a restaurant where you can eat a pancake and drink a hot beverage as well, delicious and in winter a gentle fire is burning indoors
Sarah L — Google review
Very beautiful place, kids' playground is there as well as ponies. Even grown-ups remembered how wired and fun childhood could be ) You can see a variety of natural landscapes from forest to dunes, seaside and lakes, sandy pathes and meadows. But please, be aware of ticks! We've got one. View your clothes, body and shoes before go to sleep after the fruitful day at the park.

Pizza delivery
New York Pizza is a popular eatery that serves a variety of Italian favorites such as pies, subs, and baked pastas. The restaurant's location and prices are suitable, making it an attractive option for both dining in and take-out. Customers have praised the beautiful ambiance and the availability of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is respectful and provides good service to patrons. The pizza options are diverse, with nice choices available, including options for outdoor seating.
California Veggie is my favorite Pizza 🍕
Abu Z — Google review
While this restaurant is part of the New York Pizza chain, it falls short of delivering the same quality. I understand that this restaurant is not fully part of the New York Pizza scheme, even the menu is partially different. The pizzas are sparse on toppings, often appearing empty and dry. As a loyal fan of New York Pizza, I now prefer ordering directly online from other locations such as the one of Frederik Hendriklaan that maintain a higher standard of quality and offer delivery.
K. B — Google review
The restaurant is beautiful and suitable in terms of location and prices. I tried meat, chicken, vegetables and pineapple. It is beautiful, worth a try, but I rated it 4 stars because of the hardness of the dough a little, knowing that the order is hot and fresh, there are indoor and outdoor seating, the staff are respectful and their treatment is good
Majed M — Google review

Restaurant
Encore by Simonis is a renowned restaurant located in the Scheveningen port, offering stunning views of the marina and top-notch interior design. The menu features a diverse selection of international dishes with a hint of Asian influence, including fresh sushi, sashimi, and tempura.
Encore by Simonis continues to impress me with its exceptional food and outstanding service. During every visit to The Hague, it’s my go-to spot, and the dishes never fail to amaze. The tiger prawns, tuna tacos, and black cod are absolute must-tries—each bite a testament to the restaurant’s culinary excellence. What truly elevates Encore beyond just a great dining experience is its team. The service is professional, flexible, and genuinely welcoming, creating an atmosphere where every guest feels valued. A standout example of this was a few months ago when I arranged a reservation for my parents all the way from Saudi Arabia. Rogelio Siem made the entire process effortless, handling everything with efficiency and care. What really struck me was his extraordinary gesture of trust and understanding. To help me pull off a surprise for my parents, Rogelio allowed me a few days to settle the bill after the reservation, trusting me to pay later. This kind of personal touch, combined with their trust and flexibility, exemplifies the level of hospitality that Encore by Simonis delivers. Encore isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience where the food, ambiance, and service come together perfectly. I can’t recommend it enough and will always look forward to returning.
Diz B — Google review
We had a fantastic dinner here with the three of us. The food was absolutely delicious. While ordering five starters, the friendly staff kindly advised us not to overorder and mentioned we could always add more later. They were right, the portions were just perfect. The menu is exciting and full of interesting options. The Bazuka Shrimp is a must-try! I had high hopes for the Coconut Shrimp, which was just okay, but the Blue Fin Tuna with caviar really stood out. I loved it. We had some great laughs with the staff, who turned out to be quite the joker. The atmosphere is stylish and cozy, with dim lighting that’s great for couples, perhaps a bit less ideal for families, in my opinion. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes from the menu!

Had our last meal there before leaving back to Dubai & it was just perfect!! Food was delicious. Atmosphere was great. View is EPIC (make sure u sit outside) & the servers were just phenomenal!! THANK YOU!!

The food itself and our server was good. Under different circumstances I would have been glad to return. However, I have never in my life been received with such disdain by a hostess. Her and the « manager » walked around with such attitude & arrogance that it soured the entire experience. Good cuisine cannot make up for such lack of basic hospitality.
Camille — Google review
Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. The food was so good! Large portions and well-flavored. Out of everything we ordered, the salmon torch sushi we could’ve left out, but the COCKTAILS highly recommend💕
Osheana A — Google review
The place looks great and I love the tinted glass in front of the open kitchen; gives it a nice fancy touch. Next to the nice ambience and friendly staff we were happily surprised by the chef’s lobster menu who really went above and beyond to create high quality and fun dishes (and looking Instagram worthy). It’s a tad pricey but to get fresh seafood I’d say it’s worth it.
Esmée — Google review
Love this restaurant for a night out! Food is great, chocolate explosion as a dessert is a true recommendation. We loved the sushi and its quality. Well priced on a Monday Eve! Just a bit different if you compare it to an average restaurant. Plus sitting outside with good weather give you a very pleasant view on the harbour!

Madurodam is an interactive park featuring miniature models of Dutch buildings, landmarks, and daily life. The park showcases famous attractions such as the Binnenhof/Parliament, Peace Palace, and Noordeinde Palace in a 1:25 scale setting. Visitors can explore replicas of windmills, markets, museums, and even witness a harbor fire being extinguished. With pathways and tram tracks creating a sprawling village atmosphere, Madurodam offers an immersive experience for all ages.
We recently visited Madurodam in The Hague, and our entire family had a fantastic time! It was perfect outing for both the adults and kids. This park is more than just miniature models; it's a interactive and educational experience. Our child loved being able to push buttons, make things move, and participate in the various activities throughout the park. It was a brilliant way to see the Netherlands' history and landmarks come to life in a way that engages younger visitors. For the adults, we appreciated the clever use of technology to make the exhibits feel dynamic. It offers a wonderful, bite-sized overview of the country's highlights. If you're looking for an outing that keeps everyone entertained and teaches them something new, Madurodam is a must-see.

I absolutely loved this place. The simulations were so amazing. I lo ed the historic stories told and the entire set up, is genius. A great place for kids but for adults alike. Its so interesting and there is so much to see, time will pass by and you would have spent almost an entire day. The best time to go is from when they open at 10.

It's a fun place to see the highly detailed miniature Dutch, Amsterdam - cityscapes, buildings, architecture, churches, airports, wind farms, wind mills, Canal systems, functional railway track and different trains running around, traffic vehicles moving on the road, ships, boats moving in the water... It was a fun time.. different big bridges recreated where it feels like a small overpass that you walk on, it's a fun get away

Great experience for adults and kids. Plenty of interactive setups to keep the kids engaged and interested, while admiring the great miniature cities. There are also other experiences scattered within the park. Good - clean - interactive and engaging activities - park for kids and adults - impressive miniature landmarks - facilities (toilets, restaurants, playgrounds)

Madurodam was my favorite experience during my entire trip to the Netherlands. I loved exploring the miniature versions of Dutch cities and landmarks. It felt like traveling through the whole country in just a few hours. My favorite parts were steering the ships through the canals, controlling the helicopter, and interacting with the fun exhibits like attracting the fishes. The park is very well designed, with so many details that bring Dutch history, architecture, and culture to life. It’s both educational and entertaining, making it a great place for families, couples, or solo travelers. I would recommend it as one of the first stops for tourists visiting the Netherlands. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Parking was a little pricey, but that might just be my perspective as a visitor from abroad. Overall, I would definitely like to return and see it again.

Loved it, what a wonderful piece of art, that Is amazing, every zone has its own beauty, moreover nothing is less but plane ✈️ experience inside it is out standing, a must go place to bring you child here. There is also a shall canteen to have some light snacks and a souvenir shop is also there to bring some gifts. Overall a wonderful experience, but remember you must spare enough time to go there because it needs almost half day to complete it properly if you are a detail lover.

Modern art museum
Kunstmuseum The Hague is a stunning example of 20th-century museum architecture, designed by H. P. Berlage and completed in 1935. It houses an extensive collection of over 150,000 artworks, with a focus on modern art. The museum is renowned for having the world's largest collection of works by Piet Mondrian, as well as pieces by other influential artists like Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh.
A big public museum in the World Forum neighborhood. It has a beautiful permanent collection by Dutch and international artists. Plus, I had the opportunity to visit two temporary exhibitions. Both exhibitions were very well designed. The museum staff was very kind and helpful. I enjoyed the visit very much. Congratulations to the museum.
Banu D — Google review
It definitely is a one-of-a-kind museum. We enjoyed the visit through and through. The desserts exhibition is sweet and lovely. The modern art floor is novel and mischievous at times. The building itself is distinctively “Mondrian”. The underground floor is particularly good which module I have never experienced earlier in other museums. It is so well designed that it managed to hold the attention of both adults and children from beginning to the end, thus serves the purpose of educating the mass audience some rudimentary knowledge of modern art. I think four hours is needed.
Yulan Z — Google review
What a sight. Worthwhile seeing on its own. Interesting special and regular exhibitions. van Gogh, Monet, Mondrian, Kirchner, Kandinsky, Picasso, Schiele and many more to be seen. But only refering to those exceptional artists does not do justice to so many others.
Igor A — Google review
Absolutely delightful! An absolutely stunning regular collection of paintings: Picasso, Kandinsky, Van Gogh, and Mondrian among others! We discovered Jacoba van Heemskerck! And what a beauty the "Grand Dessert" exhibition is! Incredibly beautiful porcelain! And then we came across the "Titanic" exhibition! Gorgeous dresses from the era of the film of the same name! What fine work, it turns out, was done by Hollywood! And, what's more, the exhibition includes costumes from the era of the actual events of the film!
Irina S — Google review
Amazing place! I habe not noticed how the 4 hours passed by. Mondrian collection is stunning! I have seen works I've never suspected to come from Mondrian. Temporary exhibitions are amazing. The museum was not very crowded. I bought tickets in the museum, there was no queue. I have not made it to see everything in 4 hours and I will definitely come back 🥰

An absolutely not to be missed museum. Architecturally a very significant building. The traveling exhibit we saw on the history of Paris was exceptional. The museum has a great permanent collection.

The museum is one of Europe’s leading museums for modern art and design. Founded in 1866 and renamed in 2019, it is housed in a striking building designed by H.P. Berlage and completed in 1935. The museum is especially famous for holding the world’s largest collection of Piet Mondrian’s works.

Museum
Nestled in The Hague, the Omniversum is a unique IMAX Dome Theatre that promises an extraordinary cinematic adventure. With its massive curved screen that envelops viewers, this theater offers an immersive experience like no other, showcasing stunning nature films and captivating documentaries. The sound quality enhances the realism, making you feel as if you're truly part of the scenes unfolding before you. It's a perfect outing for families and nature enthusiasts alike!
Fun and interactive museum + theatre! Kids will find it fun, as a young adult myself i enjoyed it. The theatre is showing imax film on curved screen (as i uploaded) and the museum changes it sub-themes every couple months: but the main theme remains the same - earth, people, and sustainable feature. Worth the money i’d say

Went to see a really nice movie about fungi and forests. While still impressive, the projection technology seems to be showing its age with rather blurry picture quality and low brightness compared to current day cinema tech. Your eyes do adjust to it if you're used to IMAX theaters. On a 28C day the viewing hall was surprisingly hot with no AC in the hall itself. Luckily we had some hand fans which made it a lot more bearable. The cinema store was cute and the staff while inexperienced were very polite. Had a nice experience, but for 17 euro admission I'd only come back if they improved their tech.

Impressive Experience at Omniversum Den Haag! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Omniversum Den Haag is a must-visit! The dome-style theatre offers a unique and immersive movie-watching experience you won’t find anywhere else. We watched OCEAN, narrated by David Attenborough — a stunning and powerful film. While we had hoped it would fill the entire dome ceiling, it was still an incredible visual journey. The sound and screen quality are top-notch, and the atmosphere really draws you in. Highly recommend for families, tourists, and anyone looking for something special in The Hague!

An unique experience. I didn't realize the dome where you view the movies is in the back of the complex and you have to walk around the entire museum to get to it(see photo). I saw the "Celebration of Pink Floyd’s legendary album Dark side of the Moon." I was expecting a music video or video set to The Dark side of the Moon. However, this was something completely different. This was more like a few artists' take on the album. The songs were remixed and set to very trippy visuals, that is really the only way to describe it. It almost felt like someone had left on the visualizer from an old Microsoft media player at times.

This place is amazing!! I didn't expect it to be this cool. We took a 10am session to see the turtle odyssey and it was beautiful. Smartly only 47 min because my toddler was already at his end. Then I went to the museum because the ticket came together. And oh boy I didn't expect so many interactive and fun things to do! So worth the 17 euros! Other places charge you so much and offer so little. Just some tips: food could have more options and healthier ones. Also some interactive things were not well explained. The session with "men evolution " could have a warning sign. It's quite frightening for a small kid. Other than that had a great time and didn't want to leave!

It was really amazing! The film was just out of this world! We watched animal kingdom and it was really amazing. There's a lot of activities in the museum for the kids and for the adults to enjoy with their kids. Definitely recommend going!

The exhibition is great! The idea of illustrating "sustainable development" is wonderful! But it's not technically well thought out. Young and older children study the questions, but soon they get tired of "thinking through" them and just run around the room, punching holes in a card slot machine without really understanding the topic. It's a bit sad.... Also we enjoyed the film in the cinema! And the museum is connected to the art gallery by a simple glass corridor! So you can simply walk there without going outside, but you'll need to buy other tickets, of course!

We tried Mesmerica in 3D dome. It was music and some 3D shapes. Requested to be there 45min earlier but didn't have any point as we needed to wait on the stairs till they open the door. In general was good to try but by looking at the ticket price didn't have much content.

Sandwich shop
Boosty, a sandwich shop located in The Hague, offers an exquisite variety of delicious sandwiches. They have a wide selection of breads to choose from, including dark bread club sandwiches. What sets Boosty apart is their careful consideration of the ingredients used in their food. Their sandwiches are crafted with thoughtfulness and precision, ensuring that customers do not feel excessively full or weighed down after enjoying their meal, especially if they opt for the large size.
In general the sandwiches are top, sometimes they do not place enough products, even though they have a standard. My favourite sandwich is Asian tuna, but now I am trying the others.the one in the picture is teriyaki chicken (and unfortunately, the onion was missing) that's why I am saying that the sandwiches are top, but sometimes there are hiccups.. anyway, I do recommend boosty

Restaurant Waterproef is a stunning dining venue located in The Hague, established in 2007 and situated next to the harbor. It offers luxurious dining with a beautiful view of the marina and an extensive wine list. The interior surprises with a mix of modern elements and old, classic influences. With the capacity to host up to 130 people, it's perfect for dinners, meetings, or receptions.
A good surprise menu that you can choose from between 3 to 6 courses. The food was delicious with every course well presented, cooked well and very nicely prepared. We took the wine tasting to accompany the menu and the pairings were excellent. The staff were all extremely pleasant and knowledgeable with a good level of space given between courses too. An excellent restaurant that does well for a special occasion as well as for just a private dinner for two.

We had a fabulous evening thanks to the chef and the staff of the restaurant, the beautiful setting and the amazing dishes dishes wine. I thoroughly enjoyed the fully vegan 5 course dinner that chef Bob prepared for me, upon prior request, and his signature smoked carrot dish was out of this world. The first dish was a perfect mirror of the omnivore version made with Jerusalem artichokes, seriously amazing. The dessert was pumpkin sorbet with condensed coconut milk, wow! The wine was utterly delicious, their wine menu is really extensive and interesting. All in all a perfect choice for a special celebration or event.

My mum and I visited the restaurant at the 9/18/2020. We’ve had an fantastic 6 course Menü, each course was amazing. Especially the pork belly course, it was WOW. We never ate such a delicious and spicy sauce it was like a little explosion of taste in our mouth and the pork was perfekt. The restaurant is chick and you feel very comfortable. The service was perfect, they always had a smile on their face and you never waited long for anything the hole time. We would be come back when we visit Scheveningen the next time. It was a pleasure. All the best, Vanessa & Heike Burchert

A classy and stylish restaurant where we had a truly enjoyable dining experience. It's in the harbour area, but it's not a specific fish restaurant. We choose on of the surprise menus with the wines, which was great; well presented, well explained and great flavour combinations, with excellent wines. We had fish and meat dishes, all prepared with great attention to detail. It was a winter evening and towards the end of the evening we got a bit chilly. Bring a warm jumper. I will be back.

Restaurant where all wishes come true. We tried chef's menu and it was an exciting experience. The chef came to explain the main dishes. For my husband, who is vegetarian (not easy to please), the chef made an unforgettable leek bbq. Truly a master! Great ambiance, amazing food and nice selection of wine. Small place, which is good. Less noisy, as opposed to other neighbouring restaurants. Waiting for food can be daunting, but it is all worth it. Be patient and be ready to be amazed!

Foam is a vegan restaurant that prepares delicious meals in the middle of the lunchroom. It is popular for its healthy food and convenient location. The garden outside the windows provides inspiration for writing emails or taking a break.
I could eat here everyday! The meals are a trip around the world, inspired by European, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American cuisine... you should try everything. The staff is super friendly and also dog friendly. The place can get busy, but that's definitely a sign that the food is excellent.

We ate breakfast here with my sister. Food was amazing and as I’m gluten intollerant they took good care to make sure that I have food to eat. Staff was amazing and caring with my allergies and didn’t try to save time when explaining. Portions were big and reasonable for the price. Sadly, I forgot to leave a tip but definetely coming back here!

Finally I got the opportunity to visit a fully vegan breakfast & lunch restaurant/cafe: FOAM. I considered breaking my routine but ended up having my usual breakfast in cafes: avocado sandwich. The bread was wholegrain grilled pave with miso cream spread, wonderfully done, couldn't have asked for more for the bread or the spread! Mesclun salad was fresh and crunchy, smoked almonds were just wonderful and about avocado: I have to say that out of all the places I have visited this one had most avocado. I'm very happy about that. There was spices but no vegan mayo (or other sauce) on the sandwich, but honestly it didn't need it because the miso cream was enough. All the tastes worked well together - very well combined. As drink I had chai latte (comes automatically with oat milk) and a berry bomb smoothie (as a dessert) - both very good. There's cute little bottles with lids for sugar on the tables - less waste with no single use packaging sugar (a good environmental friendly example for other cafes too). The berry smoothie was exceptionally soft to the mouth - some leave the mouth with a sore feeling afterwards but I guess the banana in it made it easier to handle. A real treat! Overall I am impressed and happy with this place and fully recommend it especially to fellow vegans! 5/5

This is such a sweet spot! The menu changes throughout the year, the staff is super kind and most importantly the food tastes really good. It’s all vegan and organic and the price quality ratio is good. They have an open kitchen so you can see your goodies being prepared. In summer you can also sit outside in the garden area. I loved the crumble, the granola was really tasty. And also the cowboy cookie fresh from the oven was delicious. Only point of improvement would be the chai latte. I found it more latte than chai, it could’ve been more spicy.

Mauritshuis is a government collection in The Hague, Netherlands, featuring hundreds of Dutch paintings including works by renowned artists like Rembrandt and Vermeer.
A bit crowded, but fantastic collection of Dutch painters. The atmosphere and space is just amazing. The gallery is not that huge, I think you can go through in an hour. I highly recommend to download the app before you go.

Visited Mauritshuis, a very well-known museum located in The Hague, near the Binnenhof. The first interesting thing I learned is that Mauritshuis actually means “Maurits’ house”, which is quite fascinating! However, behind the beauty of the building, the story of how its fortune was built is not entirely pleasant. However I won’t spoil it, because you should visit and find out yourself! This museum is also home to the iconic “Girl with a Pearl Earring” by Johannes Vermeer. Fun fact: we might not even be sure it’s an earring, as it doesn’t appear to be hooked! Another remarkable painting is “View of Delft”, also by Vermeer, which holds a special place in my heart since we live nearby and it carries meaningful memories. We even bought a puzzle of that painting, surprisingly affordable for something sold in such a prestigious museum! During our visit, there was also a live Q&A about painting restoration, where they were working on “The Bull” by Paulus Potter. It was fascinating to see how restoration combines art, material and chemical engineering, ethics, and history. For instance, The Bull was taken during the French occupation of the Netherlands, and at some point, a nail scratch was added to the painting. The big question is: do you fix it, restore it, or keep it as part of history? You decide! You can also download the Mauritshuis app and enjoy a free audio guide directly from your phone. I recommend bringing your own headset for the best experience. Overall, a truly great and thought-provoking experience, so I highly recommended!

A small but nice museum with a collection of beautiful paintings. I went there to see the Girl with the Pearl Earring. It was interesting to watch experts clean up one of the paintings. Staff are friendly & helpful, the museum & facilities are clean and the shop has nice souvenirs. You can buy your tickets at the reception as well as leave your coat and bags.
G. S — Google review
On a per square foot basis, this relatively small museum in the Hague might be the very best art museum in the world. The number of amazing masterpieces from the Dutch is nothing short of stunning. The ability to get close to them is even more wonderful, although people have to abuse this privilege by trying to vandalize the paintings with desserts and other terrible things. From start to finish, we were absolutely stunned by the quality and intimacy of this place. That someone who doesn’t even love art all that much, I fell in love with it.
David S — Google review
We were iffy about going here but saw it listed as maybe the top attraction in den Haag we ponied up and I enjoyed the very impressive detail of so many paintings from around 1600s then seeing Rubens and Rembrandt I was able to see what made them different and special - luminescence and stuff so that was interesting. To save walking up the steps there is a lift but the trick is the button is on top of the post outside not on the wall so if you’re looking on the wall you’ll never find the button for the lift.
Ultimobile — Google review
The Mauritshuis is a beautifully curated museum with an exceptional collection, including several world-famous paintings like Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring and Rembrandt’s The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp. The galleries are intimate and thoughtfully arranged, which makes it easy to appreciate each masterpiece up close. However, the museum is quite small, and the ticket price feels a bit high for the amount of time you can comfortably spend inside. Even so, the quality of the artwork and the elegance of the building make it a memorable and worthwhile visit.
T H — Google review
We spent a Saturday evening here, 2hours before closing! It was the perfect amount of time we needed for our weekend in The Hague! What a showstopper museum!! Gorgeous building, and the art is just marvellous 🤩 The girl with the pearl earring was just the icing on the cake! The display of the restoration of one of the pieces was very enjoyable! Thank you 🙏🏾 Highly recommended!

"Escher in the Palace" is a permanent exhibition located in the former royal winter palace on Lange Voorhout in The Hague. This grand building now showcases the graphic artworks of M.C. Escher, a renowned Dutch artist known for his precise and bewildering works. The exhibition features a comprehensive collection of Escher's woodcuts, lithographs, and other pieces from various stages of his career, offering insight into his unique blending of different perspectives and mathematical rules with artistic subject matter.
An absolutely fascinating museum! The presentation of Escher’s work is outstanding — each piece is worth your time and your thoughts. Highlights include Metamorphosis III, an extraordinary 7-meter-long masterpiece that flows seamlessly from one image to another, and the mesmerizing Circle Limit series, where Escher’s genius for blending art and mathematics truly shines. The illusions room is a delight, letting you step into the kind of visual paradoxes that made Escher world-famous. A perfect blend of art, geometry, and imagination — not to be missed when in The Hague.

Amazing artworks told and explained very well. I especially enjoyed the method which documented Escher's life and work - very elegant. The decision to display his works in the palace was well made, the architecture is splendid and wonderous.

If you're into architectural signs, you'll be amazed—it's like stepping into this museum! Truly stunning and beyond your wildest dreams. I spent two hours there, but honestly, it wasn’t enough to take in all the amazing creativity. It’s absolutely fantastic!

I personally find the designs inspirational and so different from other art. The intricate carving of wood for the prints is amazing and must have taken so much time and effort to achieve that I find his designs awe-inspiring and beautifully detailed. The museum, housed in the mansion of Queen Emma of the Netherlands is interesting in it's own right and worth seeing, so you get 2 for the price of 1! Definitely worth a visit!
Stephen A — Google review
This place bends your brain in the best way possible. It’s M.C. Escher, so yes, the famous “stairs that go nowhere” are here, along with loads of other works (including some I’d never seen before). Honestly, I half expected to walk out of the museum upside down. The ticket price is refreshingly reasonable (rare in The Hague, where even a coffee can feel like modern art). I’d definitely go again. Tip: go in the morning, there’s so much to see that if you arrive late, your head will be spinning from illusions and from fatigue. Bring curiosity, maybe a coffee, and prepare to wonder if the gift shop exit is actually the entrance.
Teunis S — Google review
Beautiful museum! Extensive collection and enjoyed the interactive parts at the end on the top floor. They have free lockers for your bags, a cafe downstairs, and clean bathrooms.
Barbara D — Google review
All round good exhibit in an historic house. Who doesn't love Escher? If you don't, this isn't for you. If you do you'll find lots of prints and background. Many of the prints are marked "eigen druk" which means "my own print." Would have been nice if they'd cracked a few windows... Lockers are in basement and use fake coins they hand out. Bathroom was decent.

Historical landmark
The Passage, also known as Nieuwe Haagse Passage, is a grand shopping arcade in The Hague that dates back to 1885. This glass-roofed mall is lined with upscale stores, cafes, boutiques, jewellers, galleries and confectionery shops. It was designed along the lines of Paris's Passages Couverts and features an opulent setting with soaring glass domes and floor mosaics.
It’s a mix of high end retail stores. It’s a wide variety that’s fun to explore. Also some diverse food outlets with a combination of sit in and to go.

When we arrived, most shops were closed for the first day of 2025. We still enjoyed the blue dusk draped over the dome gallery, casting a tranquil glow. The contrast of deep blue against the golden-yellow light reminded me of the palette Van Gogh often used in his paintings.

If you’re a fan of architecture, this is definitely a place to visit. Take a moment to dig into the history of the area—there’s more to it than meets the eye. On the first floor, you’ll notice some beautiful old apartments, many of them full of character. Interestingly, a few of these are now empty—not because they lack charm, but because they’re directly connected to the ground-floor shops and don’t have separate entrances. Historically, shop owners lived right above their businesses, but over time, that became unnecessary, and the living spaces were left unused. It’s a fascinating glimpse into how the building’s purpose and function have evolved over the years. Definitely worth a look if you appreciate historical layers in urban design.

The worst service I've ever experienced! 5 minutes standing at the door with waiters passing by, impossible to get their attention... Ok, I sat at a nearby table. 30 minutes later still nobody stopped by to ask what I would like to order. They looked at me couple of times, but still nobody came to me. I left and I don't think they even noticed... The most arrogant service! I don't recommend at all! P. S. 3-4 minutes before I left two young girls came to the café, immediately the male waiter RAN to greet them and invited them to take a seat. Almost immediately his other female colleague went to take their order... Trully disappointing experience as it seems the attention is not the same to all customers...

The place is in the middle of the busy The Passage and is as inviting as a good option in the region. The atmosphere is great, wide, comfortable and full of art. The staff is attempting and friendly, the service is efficient and fast. The food is quite good but there is no many options for some parts of the day like in the afternoons. From the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed. The staff were so attentive and even had a general conversation with us. On to the food; We couldn't believe how amazing everything was. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Des Indes, but the highlight was definitely the high tea. Served in a stunning, historic setting, the experience was elegant and indulgent from start to finish. The selection of teas, savory bites, and sweet treats was beautifully curated and absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. A perfect way to spend an afternoon in The Hague. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in a quiet location on a picturesque square, but a five or ten minute walk will take you into the lively centre of The Hague. At first glance it has an old fashioned appearance, and this carries on inside, but the service is modern and professional. The rooms are comfortable and air-conditioned, so no problem if you want to visit in high summer. The hot and cold buffet breakfast is excellent, and for an Englishmen there is a fine range of leaf teas. We spent four nights there and we would definitely return.

Hotel Des Indes is an absolutely beautiful and historic hotel, the kind of place where you could easily imagine taking up permanent residence. The building itself radiates elegance and old-world charm, and the interior feels like stepping into an Agatha Christie novel. --- From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the doorman with a big smile, setting the tone for what we hoped would be an exceptional stay. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless, and offered a lovely view. The hotel’s location is also ideal, right next to an impressive square on the edge of The Hague’s historic city center; perfect for exploring all the main sights on foot. --- Where Hotel Des Indes truly shines is in its atmosphere and heritage, it’s one of those rare places that feels both grand and intimate at the same time. Unfortunately, the service in the lounge and dining areas did not live up to the same high standard. --- Our first experience in the lounge started with a 20-minute wait before anyone took our coffee order. We had to signal a member of the staff, despite there being only a few guests and several waiters on duty. Once we ordered, our cappuccinos took another 20 minutes to arrive. We wrote this off as bad luck and didn’t let it affect our overall impression, until dinner. --- Dinner service mirrored the same pattern: long waits and lack of attention. After being seated, it took about 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order, and once we ordered drinks and simple dishes, we waited another 20 minutes for our (cold) drinks, an hour for appetizers, and 45 minutes more for the main courses. At no point did anyone check in or offer another round of drinks. While the restaurant was busy, the service remained consistently slow and inattentive throughout the evening. A real shame, because the food itself was excellent, well presented and absolutely worthy of the hotel’s reputation. --- Breakfast the next morning, served buffet-style, was unfortunately similar. Coffee orders (there are no coffee machines at the buffet) took more than 25 minutes to arrive, and tables were often left uncleared even as new guests arrived, leaving many people unsure where to sit. Although there appeared to be enough staff, they seemed somewhat disorganized, perhaps due to a poor service management system. --- Despite these issues, we still consider Hotel Des Indes a special place to stay. The building, location, and ambiance are unmatched, and most of the staff we interacted with were warm, friendly, and professional. However, the service in the lounge and restaurant simply doesn’t meet the standards one would expect from a five-star establishment. --- We truly hope the hotel addresses these recurring service issues, because with improvements in that area, Hotel Des Indes would be flawless.

Just had the most incredible stay! The hotel staff went above and beyond — genuinely kind, helpful, and always with a smile. The food? Absolutely wow — every meal felt like a treat. And the location couldn’t have been more perfect — right in the heart of everything, yet peaceful and relaxing. Truly a five-star experience from start to finish!

It was our first time at the hotel and we had an absolutely fantastic stay. We came with our kids (6 and 8 years old) and booked two connecting rooms, which felt like a suite. From the moment we entered the beautiful hotel until the smooth checkout, everything was perfect. The whole experience turned into a wonderful memory for our family that we’ll cherish forever. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel, perfect location, and a few restaurant hiccups! It's more 4 1/2 stars if I could give another half I would. Loved this hotel in Den Haag! It's in a fantastic location -- right next to a gorgeous park and literally steps away from the Escher Museum. It's also just a short walk to the Mauritshuis (hello, Girl with a Pearl Earring ) and surrounded by lots of things to do, see, and eat. The hotel itself is beautiful -- elegant lobby, rich-looking dining hall, and we stayed in a junior suite that was spacious, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches like tons of drawers and cabinet space. Service across the board was excellent -- from the concierge to the doorman to housekeeping, everyone was friendly and professional. Now, about the restaurant... that's where things got a little bumpy. There was one incident early on that I reported to the front desk, and to their credit, they were super apologetic -- even saying, "this isn't the first time this happened and we'll talk to the manager." (Okay... not sure if that was meant to make me feel better, but I appreciated the honesty?) Anyway, after that, they went above and beyond -- our breakfast table was magically reserved for us every morning, and the person who had slipped up before turned into the nicest person ever. I booked four nights through my Amex Platinum and got all the perks that come with it -- totally worth it. The stay overall was wonderful, but again, the restaurant really needs some tightening up. One dinner night, we waited over an hour for our food which's slow even by European standards, and they forgot our fries. When they realized it, they offered to bring us two orders to make up for it -- sweet gesture, but we declined because... well, we love fries, just not that much . They brought out mayo, ketchup, and truffle mayo (yum!) -- but then it got a bit awkward because I overheard an American gentleman behind me earlier asking for ketchup, and the waitress told him they didn't have any. My husband whispered, "He's looking at your ketchup." I wanted to offer him some, but by the time my fries arrived, his were long gone. Oops. Food-wise, everything else was really good -- especially the sea bass, perfectly cooked with crispy skin just the way it should be. All in all, despite a few restaurant quirks, I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in The Hague. The service, comfort, and location more than make up for it -- just maybe skip dinner downstairs and explore the city's food scene instead!

Beautiful hotel, but if you only come for tea, coffee, or another drink, you're ignored. After sitting at an uncleaned table for fifteen minutes, two tables next to us were asked if everything was to our liking, after which the waiter simply walked away without looking back or around, without asking us anything or taking an order. It really wasn't busy. It's a shame, but we won't be visiting again.

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming Korte Houtstraat, just a stone's throw from The Hague's iconic landmarks like the Binnenhof and Mauritshuis, De Basiliek is a culinary gem that beckons food lovers. This modern eatery boasts an inviting atmosphere with its bright interior and cozy garden terrace, perfect for enjoying meals al fresco while gazing at the historic basilica nearby.
We were welcomed very nice and we could choose where we wanted to sit. They change the menu sometimes and this week they had a new menu. Plenty of choice for fishlovers, Meatlovers and vegetarians. The staff was very nice and attentive which is not always if you are in a restaurant in The Netherlands. The waitress Yusra was very thoughtful and had a good knowledge of the food and menu. But the rest of the team were wonderful as well. Lots of attention and hard workers. The food was delicious. The octopus so tender and crispy and the starter rocket shrimp so good. Really a nice restaurant. We will definitely come back.

Made a reservation here on a Friday night to celebrate our anniversary. Just too bad that it wasn't really taken into account, since we were seated just randomly there where the waiters go in and out of the restaurant. If it wasn't for Nazima, our trusted hostess of the evening, I would rate the service quite low. We were tended by students, meaning not really professionals. We went for the 6 course dinner. Started with the ginger beef, a cold dish, but still had some frozen bits. This was followed by the saffran risotto, which tasted good, but it was something I would not order if given the choice. This was followed by half a portion of a rib bao. I think they could have easily served a whole bao, because this tasted really good. The 3 scallops, topped by caviar and smoked mackerel, in a light sauce, was really nice. The main was the Iberico pork. Good cuisson, but the side dishes could have been better. If given the choice, I would go more for the beef mains. The dessert, I requested the dates cake, which for me was the best dish of the evening. Big thanks to Nazima who paired each dish with excellent wines and made the evening enjoyable. If I was to return here, i would opt for maybe 5 courses of my own choice.

Went to celebrate our wedding anniversary on the recommendation of a friend. Overall I was disappointed with the choice of vegan/vegetarian options esp after prior consultation. The Spanish peppers were overcooked; saffron risotto only name sake as there was no taste. Enjoyed the artichoke and aubergine. Portions are rather small. The place was really crowded/busy and the service level was rather poor. The food options limited (for vegetarians/vegans) and overall price/value proposition was not worth it. They didn’t even do anything special to recognize the special occasion which was little disappointing. The only saving grace was the ambience - sat outside and it was nice to watch the crowd. I would not return

De Basiliek offers a classy, elegant interior that feels inviting without being over the top. It is a nice place to enjoy a relaxed meal. I had the beef bavette with fries followed by the date cake for dessert. Both were really nice in flavor and well-prepared, with the bavette cooked just right and the date cake offering a warm, comforting sweetness. If I had to nitpick, the portions could be a bit larger, especially for the main dish, but overall the quality makes up for it. Service was friendly and attentive, adding to the positive experience. A solid spot in The Hague for a well-made meal in a stylish setting.

The prime rib was super chewy, the server didnt even ask us how we wanted our meat so we had to eat a rare meat. The portion was generous. Fries were mid. They were not very crunchy. Covered with mayo. Side salad was nice. Overall: Wouldnt come back. We didnt drink but they had a wide wine selection so good to keep in mind.

Super expensive, we were nine and payed 70euro each just to leave the place still hungry. Small portions. We also asked for separate checks and they said no. After spending 700 euros Water bottle was like 7 euro 😒

Overall à pretty good experience in De Basiliek restaurant... The octopus as a starter was good despite not being outstanding, the sauce not bringing a lot of additional value to the dish. The shrimps in tempura were a bit more interesting with a nice crispy texture and pronounced flavors. As a main, the sweatbread was wonderfully cooked and the small pickles in the sauce made the dish quite interesting. The bavette was also pretty well cooked, the peper sauce not overwhelming the rest of the dish. On the lower side, i think they could improve a bit their selection of sides which were a bit too standard and obvious in view of the mains proposed. Service is may be not the best you can imagine, but after all in the netherlands this is usually made by students which are not professionals...and dont want to be ! Given the casual atmosphere of the place, that is no big deal in full honesty... Overall DeBasiliek is very nice place to have a diner above the usual dutch culinary standards, in a casual atmosphere and at a price that remains reasonable...

Restaurant
Restaurant Zheng in Den Haag offers a unique dining experience that combines fusion cuisine with traditional Chinese rituals. The restaurant is known for its Zheng banquet, served in five or seven 'chapters' and accompanied by an impressive selection of wines and teas. Additionally, they offer a menu for takeout and delivery, allowing patrons to enjoy their exquisite dishes at home. With a Michelin star, the restaurant provides fine dining in a soft ambiance, catering to vegetarians and vegans as well.
We had a fantastic new experience at Zheng! The cozy and elegant atmosphere made the evening truly special. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, guiding us through a beautifully curated and thematic fine dining journey. Each dish was not only delicious but also stunningly presented (I couldn’t take a picture of all the dishes), a true feast for both the eyes and the palate. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for something unique and memorable in The Hague!

Visited Restaurant Zheng on Saturday the 15th of February and while the food was extremely delicious, I was a little disappointed as I felt it was mostly European food with some hints of Chinese cuisine served in a Chinese banquet style. I was hoping that the fusion would be Chinese led, as in, more of a celebration of Chinese food with elements of European cooking. My favourite dish was Scallop and Halibut with a sweet and sour sauce, which was it was incredible. The Lobster and Prawn dim sum with Herring Caviar and Black Cod with Green Pepper sauce (fish menu alternative to the main course) were also fantastic. The two cocktails (one used a tea-infused gin) we had at the beginning were also great. The main negative for the evening for me was the service. While the staff were very welcoming and friendly, the timings between each course were very inconsistent. After an hour and a half, we had received a cocktail and 2 courses, both of which relatively small. The timings between courses throughout the meal varied from 10 minutes to 30-40 minutes. This would have been less of an issue if the first few courses were faster and then the rest of the meal had longer between each course, but as it was, I was very hungry for the first half of the meal and then extremely full by the end. The waiter who brought us our wine said "I don't want to see you pouring your own wine" but then returned to our table only once. We did wait for them to come back again but ended up doing it ourselves, which is fine, but if you say you're going to do something like that then you should be following through. I appreciate the intention, and that the person was busy with other tasks, but I would suggest not saying that originally and just doing it if they can. Overall, I would say my experience was 7/10 and I would recommend a visit as the food itself was really fantastic and while it is one of the more expensive placed in The Hague, I do think it was worth it.

We had the best experience at Zhen. The food was superb and the service was amazing, Jessie really made our evening and was a great host! We chose the 5 course menu with the duck and the duck was really a special experience and so tasty! If you are looking for an Asian fine dining experience, this is the place to go. We will come back 😊

Everything about this restaurant was fantastic. We came in for lunch on a Saturday, we were warmly greeted and sat at our table. The ambiance, the seating, the lighting, everything was aesthetically pleasing. We ordered a 3 course lunch menu with the duck as the main course as the reviews told me to. The reviews were right, the duck is crunchy and sumptuous, the thin rice wraps and the sauces that accompanied the duck elevated the taste even more. Yum. Definitely not the last time I eat here.

This is a great place to experience modern Chinese food, with helpful service and an elegant atmosphere. I went here with my friend on 1 October and had the 5 step menu. From the moment we entered, everything was really down to earth and perfect. The two ladies who helped us were kind and welcoming and patient in their explanations. They were a great team! The restaurant is also gorgeous with beautifully chosen blue and gold hues that make the atmosphere cozy and well-rounded. For the food, expect Chinese fusion with modern touches. There was a great play of flavours and textures overall, with some funky twists and surprising elements (the oolong infused ice cream and passion fruit boba was so fun!). And the peking duck with the hoisin sauce and pancakes? Well, that was a love letter for the heart and soul! ✨ Overall, keep in mind this is a slow experience, meant to be taken easy and enjoyed! 🪷 So, yes, I really recommend this place!

An absolutely 10/10 experience. I rarely give 5 stars unless my experience is not only great but exceedingly stellar. We visited Zheng to celebrate my boyfriend’s 30th birthday as a party of 4 people. Not only were we kindly greeted, our bags and jackets were offered to be taken and we were shown to our seats. The restaurant had dim lighting but your specific table was lit which created a private sort of feeling where I barely noticed the restaurant getting busier through the Sunday night. We chose the 6 Chapters menu option (non vegetarian) and the kitchen was kind enough to even accommodate a swap-out ask for one of us. We also did the tea pairing. The waitress was exceptionally attentive to any dietary requirements of which we had none. And what a wonderful fountain of information she was when it came time to explain the many many dishes that flowed throughout the night. If you’re like my boyfriend and worried that tiny dishes won’t fill you - let me ease your mind and tell you we practically rolled ourselves out of the restaurant with how full we were. (Even managed to snag a takeaway bag). The food is exceptional. Honestly I won’t even try to describe something that simply HAS to be experienced. Before we left we were already talking about returning. Also- get the Duck.

A phenomenal gastro experience at this Asian resturant. Beautifully decorated cozy setting with a huge selection (separate dedicated menu) of vegetarian options. Presentation and creativity in mixing flavors was phenomenal. Probably my most fav Asian resturant experience in Den Haag. Pricy but well worth the experience. We went for the “5 chapters” (specifically #1, 2, 4, 5 and 7 -see menu) tasting menu which delivered a colorful, exotic and flavorful journey. Indonesian chef presented a lot of creativity and flair in both taste and plating on beautiful China. Every chapter was served with three separate dishes with a common sauce and/or key ingredient (ie mushroom or eggplant etc). Chefs lucky number is three thus the plating for each chapter. A very memorable evening and Jesse (the server) made it a fun experience with a special birthday treat. Menu changes every 3 months so can’t wait for another celebration! I would highly recommend Zheng’s for a special occasion.
