This place is a hidden gem in Nanjing city, set in an elevated position on two floors. It features a very nicely furbished ground floor bar/restaurant and an open roof top terrace bar. The beer is excellent and the food ok but as others commented very expensive. I spent a lovely sunny afternoon here in May 2019 on the roof terrace over looking part of the city and watching the world go bye. The only thing that spoilt the experience being that some of the staff ( the younger members) were lazy and quite rude, so different to my experience in almost every other part of this beautiful country they call China.

However, most of the staff do not speak English. But you can order the food by tapping pictures on an iPad.

They have tables in different sizes, suiting up to 8 people.
A two-chambered pot is inserted in the middle of your table and you order two different broths. Watch out: the spicy one ist extremely spicy! It will make your lips numb and make you cough!
The other ingredients are brought to you on plates and in bowls and then you cook them in the boiling broth of your choice.
There's also a condiment bar where you can choose from many different items like sauces, chives, chopped garlic, soy beans or tomatoes. These items are also labeled in English, which is quite helpful!
Highly recommended: order the "Kung Fu Noodles"! A master will come to your table and right in front of you whirl around some noodle dough extruding it to 6 or 7 feet in length before putting it into the broth. What a great show!

Well the reviews are kinda misleading! It doesn't have anything to do with pizza's or italian restaurant's but with cheapness. I had margherita and it was horror, not to mention reviews. 24¥ for market bought pizza is ridiculous. Yes it looks like pizza, yes all pizza's are around 25¥, yes its probably the cheapest look a like pizza I have ever seen in China but I would rather spent triple to eat real pizza compared to this. If you are on a budget you can eat here, if you are looking for delicious pizza run away!
