It is highly recommended to book a table a day in advance, as it is a small restaurant and most of the tables were occupied each night we dined in. To start, we were delighted with the service and the complimentary dish from the kitchen which was delicious! We were really excited to have our main course which unfortunately was disappointing. Although not bad it was mediocre at best. With a lack of seasoning on the fish dish and the duck just being a bit tough. Wish it had been comparable to the reviews I've read but for us it would be a miss if we were to visit again.

Atmosphere at this restaurant is super. The food is pretty expensive. I would give 5 stars if the food would be little bit cheaper, but taste (main dishes) and the price doesn't match.

After a warm welcome after checking in, we went down to eat at the Mariamare Restaurant, I opted for the tuna which was cooked to perfection, throughly enjoyable with a chilled bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. The Mariamare Restaurant is nestled on the beach on the beach level of the Valamar President Hotel, and is advertised a premium à la carte dining experience, which we can vouch for. The soothing sound of the waves and the gentle sea breeze made this meal even more enchanting so, whether you're a guest at the hotel or seeking a top-notch dining experience in Dubrovnik, Marimare Restaurant should be on your list. We would wholeheartedly recommend it for a delightful meal by the sea.
