If you are going to Lucknow, you should definitely go to Bada Imambara. Famously known as Nawabon ka Sheher, I think going to the very Iconic Bada Imambara area is a must. When you reach Bada Imambara, you can get a tuk-tuk or E-rickshaw, which take 100 rs for one ride around the entire area, including the Rumi Darwaza, Shahi Bawli, Clock Tower, Art Gallery in Chota Imambara and back to Bada Imambara where you can go inside and explore Bhool Bhulaiyan, another bouli and the amazing Nawabi architecture, which closely resembles Taj Mahal, in many aspects. You notice it instantly when you see it. The Tuktukwala or E-rickshaw driver also tells you the history of the places and attached stories of different places. And there is no time limit. All this for 100 rs, especially if you are a group of 4, is a very economical and value for money deal. Art Gallery in Chota Imambara is where you get ticket for both gallery and Imambara for Rs. 50 per person And it's the most amazing at evening after sun has set, with the lights. Just one thing to BEWARE of, do NOT buy chikken kari kurti or chikken embroidery clothing from where the E-rickshaw person takes you, you can get better deal and better stuff at other places in Lucknow. This is especially for the first timers.

When you are Lucknow, you will surely visit this place. This is just like Tajmahal in Agra. Nice place to visit but very crowded. Ticket price is ₹50, to cover all sites in this complex as well as Chhota Imambada. Guide will charge according to the number of people in your group. But remember, after the payment, you will be added to large heterogeneous group of visitors. You won't get personal attention. Guide will be already tired and you are least likely to enjoy.

Crazy crowds. Don't go inside the maze if you are claustrophobic or don't like crowds. The maze is nice and the view from top is good too. If you like these type of architectural places. You can just look from outside too and walk in the courtyard. Very Good Park to have a walk , couple of times in the week . The Greenery and music system inside the park is very Nice . also there are plenty of benches and sitting areas to relax . Cycle is also provided for two or more people . One jurrasic park is also there for kids and it has vending machines to have some beverages too . The Parking charge of the two wheeler is 20 rs and entry ticket of the park in day and evening hours is 15 rupees which can also be purchased online through QR code posted right there at the main entry gate. Also a musical water fountain will grab your attention at night which is very nice and its timings are later in evening lets say after 7 pm . Points for improvement are :- Signages should be there for people roaming there in night to find for them that where is the exit path or exit gate , Even i was confused once at night and was scared a little bit . Washrooms and drinking water facility is only at the entry gate i think which should be also there in between the park and should be regularly maintained . Tickets Price should have been reduced to 10rs. For any day any time and Parking Fees of vehicles should also be reduced to 10 rs for two wheeler and 30 for car etc. and some food stalls would also be the Good option inside the park . Thanks

We were told that this park was opened on 5 August 2014 and is named in memory of UP socialist leader Janeshwar Mishra. One of the highlights is the lake inside the park, where boating facilities are available. The musical fountains and well-lit pathways make evenings here especially enjoyable. Bicycle rental is provided @ 500₹ security and ₹60/hour rental for double seat cycle and ₹30 for single seat cycle. This is full of different activities like the Jurassic Park section, boating, cycling and motion chair. Tickets are ₹15, free for Senior citizens.

Sad to see such splendid artifacts - from Egyptian mummies and false door panels dating back 3000+ years to Jain art and sculpture from the second century BC - stored in a lacklustre manner with a sense of decay rather than wonder at the heritage created by mankind. The school excursion groups to the museum were being guided by the teachers who appeared to be providing incorrect information. The staff and security, however, were warm and friendly.!

State museum lucknow.. situated inside the lucknow zoo.. price of the ticket is just Rs 15.... Inside the museum you can see the Buddha gallery, Different types of painting like - Kangra school of the painting, madhubani etc. In the modern history section their is the evidence of Awadh sepoys bravely against the Britishers during 1857 revolt,battle of chinhat etc. Overall a great experience..and it should be must visit by the History lovers..

Its was getting renovated when i went there . Still it was coming out nicely . It has good one called awadh gallery .and the best is the museum of natural history . Much enjoyed .being in the middle of the zoo .must watch but take the ride to take you around .it was 212 ruppes for half an hour ride for 4 people and 1 kid . So great .i enjoyed my day

What struck me the most about my visit to the State Museum was the overwhelming sense of positiveness it instilled in me. It was a reminder of how far we've come as a society and the importance of preserving our cultural heritage for future generations. Newly develope museum in lucknow zoo...it's amazing..must visit

I recently visited Oudhyana, the Awadhi cuisine restaurant at the Taj Group hotel. While the food was exceptional and truly lived up to its reputation, our overall experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, we were initially turned away by the restaurant manager, citing a fully booked restaurant on a Tuesday evening. However, we observed that the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived at 7:45 PM, and still had several vacant tables when we left 90 minutes later. The service was subpar, with waiters seemingly inattentive and unresponsive to our requests. Ordering was a challenge, requiring us to raise our voices to get their attention. A particularly frustrating experience was when we requested a dessert spoon to eat the Shahi Tukda, which took an inexcusable 8-10 minutes to arrive. Despite repeated requests to the waiter and restaurant manager, we were ignored until we raised our voices. Given the Taj Group's reputation for excellence, this experience fell short of expectations. While the food was outstanding, the service and overall experience require significant improvement.

The interiors are really amazing, food quality is excellent, and the pool facing location makes it even more beautiful. Its a really satisfying and refreshing feeling, everytime you visit the restaurant.

We had one of the best meals of our life at Oudhyana, Taj Mahal, Lucknow. Every single bite was unbelievably delicious so much so that we personally met Chef Qureshi just to compliment him. Truly an unforgettable experience.

Hey foodies, Today I am back with a review unfortunately late. It was actually a review for Christmas day dinner but I couldn't upload that time. Anyways so here I am with urban terrace, we went there for our Christmas day dinner in the night and chose a wrong day cuz it was extremely cold and windy and it was on an actual very high terrace. However, they did have the umbrella heater between tables but it wasn't enough. Talking about the atmosphere, this was a big mood put off thing cuz it was soo cold but also there wasn't any good music playing so it was really a silent dinner. 😕 Food- so we did try something new this time and it was a Bengali dish (Maccher Jhol) for the mains and Lebanese something fish on sticks for the appetizers. Both the dishes were tasty it was good 👍🏻 Something different no doubt. Dessert - it was blueberry cheesecake again something totally a new version. I really loved it. Service - it was good as well I just feel they could do better by educating the servers about the dishes . So that they can recommend dishes in a better way. Also we had ordered coffee which was soo terribly late to come. Overall it was a good evening minus the cold n silent night we had. 👍🏻😊

Situated on top of hotel lineage it's a nice rooftop restaurant and bar. With zomato gold i enjoyed +1 on drink served with generous amount of chips and peanuts. Coming to food we ordered drums of heaven and brownie heaven. Both were delicious and taste was upto the mark.

Loved the ambience. Can go with your family for best dining experience at night. Food is also very good.

Been here couple of times. Never disappoints and it's an open roof top on a high floor so the views of the city are also great (see the pic). Service can surely improve but the ambiance and views make up for a little bit of sloppiness. Drinks are slightly expensive though. Usually the evening brings in good crowd. If you smoke (then please stop smoking) but anyway they allow smoking in the open area.

Went to have a Birthday celebratory lunch. Reached late and buffet was about to be over in less than 30 mins, so ordered A la carte. Ordered Rs. 1000+ caesar salad with add ons along with drinks. What I got 2 leaves of lettuce broken into smaller parts along with few small pieces of bread marinated with some sauces. If I would not had ordered addons hopefully I would had got full 4 leaves, but they reduced 2 leaves and adjusted the space in their small plates with 2 addons (priced separately). The best part was that two other groups on the adjacent tables were also fighting for meagre quantities served for hefty amount charged. Last but not the least, proper bill was also not provided. Experience ruined the mood and had to leave for another restaurant.

L14 has consistently impressed me with its taste and quality. Even when I stay at the Taj, I prefer to dine here. The vegetarian lunch buffet offers a well-curated selection, and the breakfast buffet is equally satisfying. The à la carte menu is diverse, and the portion sizes are generous — definitely worth the visit. One of the highlights is the spectacular view of Ambedkar Park and the city skyline — a serene and stunning backdrop that elevates the entire dining experience. However, the major drawback remains the floor staff. This has been a recurring issue. They tend to avoid eye contact, appear hesitant to engage, and often seem confused when taking orders or responding to requests. Service efficiency and attentiveness could be greatly improved to match the high standards set by the kitchen and the ambience.

The overall experience was extremely disappointing. The food was cold, stale, and lacked freshness. There was no air-conditioning, and when some VIPs arrived, even the fans were moved towards them, leaving the rest of us uncomfortable. Service was almost non-existent, perhaps because all attention was directed toward the VIP guests. Most of the food was tasteless, except for the Pani Puri, Beetroot Cutlet, and a couple of desserts. Pizza seemed to be deliberately kept aside for VIPs, as it suddenly appeared only after they arrived. The Paneer Lababdar was particularly bad in taste. To add to the chaos, serving spoons were missing from many dishes, plates were unavailable, and people kept tripping over loose fan wires—something completely unacceptable in a so-called 5-star restaurant. It felt like everything was reserved exclusively for VIPs. No doubt they will rate it 5 stars, but for regular guests like us, it was a terrible experience.

We visited yesterday, Tables were clean and all the mess was dumped under the table by service folks. Although it was all day dining, but service staff was less and they didn't discourage people to use dirty plates every time Which was un hygienic. View was great we were sitting at the corner of the floor. Food was ok, but ambience was good. i know lot more other places near by with great food quality and taste. May not visit for food but for ambience.

The view was beautiful from the 14th floor, and the food was delicious. The service staff were courteous and prompt. We ordered A-la-carte, from the vegetarian section. The only thing I would want better would be the number of varieties of the dishes. The vegetarian menu seemed slightly insufficient for an all day dining restaurant serving indian as well as continental dishes. Apart from that, it was a fulfilling and delightful experience.

Sakhawat Restaurant, located near Oudh Gymkhana Club in Kaiserbagh, Lucknow, is a hidden gem that every foodie must explore. Tried Shami Kebabs and they were so delicate and rich in flavour with a hint of sweetness , tasted absolutely delicious with mughlai paratha. But the seating space is really constricted so dine in could be problematic as its really packed all the time .

Sakhawat restaurant is a well known restaurant recognised as a Heritage restaurant in Lucknow, they claimed themselves a heritage restaurant. I went there with a lot of expectations after seeing so many videos on YouTube and blogs on social media platforms, but literally this place disappointed me a lot. First of all it was opened late I went around 2 pm but the restaurant opened after 3 pm and the main dish which wanted to taste Kakori kebab was not ready. They told me to try their Friday only speciality Desi Chicken Biryani, for me it was not worth it. Very subtle taste with no flavours at all after that I tried their Shami Kebabs which were also just Okay okay type not good not bad. When I completed my meal they told me that Kakori kebabs are now ready so I tried that also and to my surprise that was the most disappointing dish of the day. There was no flavour and a very weird taste I don't know what the issue was but very tasteless preparation. Lalla Biryani at chowk have much better Biryani and Shami kebabs then this Heritage restaurant. It was totally waste of money and time for me.

Quite a decent and theme based restaurant which is based on caves & jungle theme located in the Patrakar Puram area. Interiors were beautiful with nice sitting area. Food was decent but a little pricey considering the vibes of restaurant. Previously it used to be full packed and use to provide pan shots which were not there on my recent visit. Service was fast.

The place is located in the heart of Gomti Nagar near Patrakar Puram and it's easy to locate. The parking may be issue due to busy locality. The ambiance is very well planned with good theme and striking interiors. Good impression at first sight. The staff is quick to take orders but the serving took some time . The food is good and quantity is apt. Not very pocket friendly . Good place to done with family and friends

One of the best things about spice caves the variety of cuisines they offer. This variety is a huge plus, especially when you’re dining with a mixed crowd. Kids can go for pasta or mashed potatoes while adults might prefer rice or traditional Indian dishes. It’s perfect for family outings and group meals. The food is consistently delicious, and the portion sizes are very decent. Last year, when we came to India, we visited spice caves several times with our family and friends — it became our go-to spot. And this year again, we were so happy to revisit and have another great experience. Highly recommend!

Worst service ever faced in any restaurant they denied on my face to service soft drink even fresh lime soda they denied its worst experience ever by any restaurant….

Worst ever experience... Ordered food, waited for 1 and half hour and still got only half of the ordered food. Mismanagement, bad odour... No staff to attend. Please don't waste ur time and money on this restaurant. They made my b'day party horrible, embarrassing. Never had such a bad experience.... Request the management, please shut down ur restaurant or atleast stop making fool the customers.

The place has got really nice ambience and a perfect place for hangout with friends and partying. The place has got three priority elevated seating areas and we were lucky enough to be score one of those which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant has got ample seating space and dedicated play area for kids and a separate (though small) dance floor. The food is also good and the vegetarian options are quite plenty. Garlic naan was my personal favourite. Though the price is a little on the higher side, the quality of food compensates it really well. What I did not like about the place though was that there is no parking facility and we have to park on the road.

We went in for dinner and were happy with the quality of dishes served. Dishes ordered : Veg Manchow soup , Chicken 65, Paneer achari tikka , Murg tikka masala, Paneer do Pyaaza, Dal Tadka ,Butter Roti. The only minus side of our outing was the service time. It needs improvement because for some of our repeat dishes, a lot of time was utilised. Aside from this fact, we were happy with the staff behaviour, the taste of each and every dishes served.
