Tunday Kababi in Lucknow truly lives up to its legendary reputation. Mutton Galauti Kabab was excellent, mouth melting. Best to eat with paratha, it increases the favour. Boti kabab was ok. Mutton Seek kabab was very nice. Awadhi mutton biryani was flavorful, light, an absolute delight.

It cost me 100 rs, and the lack of effort in even heating the parantha before serving was disheartening. 😔❄️💔 I strongly recommend trying out Balle Balle or Biryani House in Khazana market instead. I didn't ate bcoz I wasted almost half an hour and still there was no one to take order. Waiter was extremely rude, not customer friendly. In front of us 4 families just left the place without even giving any order.

I had mutton biryani and mutton galawati kebab. The biryani was aromatic, subtle and rich in flavor. It was only warm and not hot, maybe because we went around 4pm. The mutton pieces were mostly soft but some were hard. Apart from these two factors it was an amazing biryani. The galawati kebab as always melted in the mouth and was amazing.

We had 2 plate half Mutton biryani , 1 half plate Galawti kebab, 1 half plate mutton Rogan Josh. Had gone to the legendary Tulsi street Dastarkhawan@Lucknow to get some items packed. I was surprised to see the place jam packed even in afternoon, though earlier afternoons were rather quiet. While the guy was packing our stuff, I somehow couldn't control the ambience and the meaty atmosphere and ordered childhood favourite half Boneless Mutton Boti Kabab with Ulte Tawe Ka paratha! Nowadays in Lucknow, Bori kabab is available everywhere but in childhood Mutton Bori kabab and Masala tawa chicken was Tulsi speciality only!! After eating I felt- "Heaven Can Definitely Wait"!!!

Tried Shami Kebabs and they were so delicate and rich in flavour with a hint of sweetness , tasted absolutely delicious with mughlai paratha. But the seating space is really constricted so dine in could be problematic as its really packed all the time .

Sakhawat restaurant is a well known restaurant recognised as a Heritage restaurant in Lucknow, they claimed themselves a heritage restaurant. I went there with a lot of expectations after seeing so many videos on YouTube and blogs on social media platforms, but literally this place disappointed me a lot. First of all it was opened late I went around 2 pm but the restaurant opened after 3 pm and the main dish which wanted to taste Kakori kebab was not ready. They told me to try their Friday only speciality Desi Chicken Biryani, for me it was not worth it. Very subtle taste with no flavours at all after that I tried their Shami Kebabs which were also just Okay okay type not good not bad. When I completed my meal they told me that Kakori kebabs are now ready so I tried that also and to my surprise that was the most disappointing dish of the day. There was no flavour and a very weird taste I don't know what the issue was but very tasteless preparation. Lalla Biryani at chowk have much better Biryani and Shami kebabs then this Heritage restaurant. It was totally waste of money and time for me.

It is a over hyped place. At first, the behaviour of staffs was very rude and really bad towards their customers. They don't have a proper dining space then also would shout to sit first and then have the biryani plate. Zero hygiene maintenance and cleanliness measures. Half plate mutton biryani costed Rs .200 which was totally waste. You will get coloured rice in a dirty plate just washed with water, with 2 pieces of mutton, having zero taste at all. Would not recommend anyone to go.

Idrees Biryani in Lucknow is one of those places that you just cannot miss if you are a true biryani lover. I had their mutton biryani and it was out of the world. The aroma, the flavour, and how tender the mutton was — it all just came together so beautifully. You can tell it is made with a lot of love and tradition. The uncle who manages the place is incredibly polite and kind. He even offered us an extra piece after realising we were visiting from outside Lucknow and had come specially to taste his biryani. That said, the place is extremely congested and always packed with people. Finding a seat inside is tough and the surroundings are not very clean. It is definitely more suited for takeaway. But since I was in Lucknow, I had to have it there, even if that meant standing outside on the street and enjoying it. And honestly, it was totally worth it. The mutton biryani is exceptional but I feel it may not suit everyone's taste especially if you are not used to the rich and traditional Awadhi flavours. Still, if you are in Lucknow, you must try it at least once. Just go early because it sells out fast.

Not Recommended. Biryani is good in taste but nothing exceptional. The area nearby is very conjusted and dirty. The inside seating area in just one table with two benches. The hygiene is very badly maintained. This is certainly not a family place to dine. You may get it packed and eat elsewhere or better try at some other place. In the bustling streets of chowk this place is a must try. Raheem Kulcha Nihari is an absolute legend at their work. A great tasting nihari paired with flaky kulcha is a great start to your day. The only let down is the hygiene of this place.

Only kebab was good but don't try anything else, Aminabad's tunday is much better, I have ordered chicken masala and It didn't even taste like I am eating non veg it's just a dhaba style chicken and has no aroma, on the other hand on Aminabad's tunday the chicken masala was amazing. One of the must visit food place in Lucknow. Their black buffalo kebab is the authentic one. Kebab (balck buffalo/chicken/ mutton) with mughlai paratha/ special mughlai paratha is the best combination. I had tried chicken seekh kebab, Chicken tangdi kebab, mutton gravy and chicken biriyani. It's a crowded place. Sometimes you need to wait for a table. Service is okay (may be because of of crowd). Market in front of Tunday Kababi is also crowded. You have to park the vehicle far away from the restaurant. Since 1905 this restaurant serves the foodies with its amazing taste.

Many famous person have visited this place. And to find a seat in this place you have to wait atleast 30 minutes. Pocket friendly and pure food. To be particular I am talking about the Gomtinagar branch of Tunday Kebabi, which is near Patrakarpuram. I am going to be honest, this was the worst experience with any restaurant I have ever had. I initially planned to dine in, but owing to the terrible ambiance and bas hygiene of the place, I decided to take away. Their items are too overpriced compared to any other Tunday outlet, in fact just the double. So the restaurant packed the food I ordered. And guess what, they packed only half of the items. And the kebabs were completely inedible, they had a strange sour smell and tasted like salt balls dipped in cheap oil. Actually they had given me me spoilt kebabs!!!! I took one bite and within 10 mins I am constantly rushing to the washroom. End-note: Please visit any other restaurant but not this place. I normally avoid giving bad ratings to anyone, but what they did is actually criminal. So far the worst experience I have had anywhere.

Great authentic mughlai food in Lucknow. I went there in late afternoon with friends and we were very hungry. We ordered masala papad and sweet lime soda to begin with, and both were great. We then ordered dal makhni, mutton bound, and other condiments like roti and rice for the main course. Everything was very good, especially the dal makhni. I have never had such dal.makhni in my life. This place is very conveniently located and has off-street parking. Highly recommended.

Visited Dastarkhwan, Lucknow, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience! I tried their Mutton Korma, Rumali Roti, and Mutton Galauti Kabab, and each dish was nothing short of heavenly. We went during the day and the food is just excellent with good seating area and Awadhi decorations. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food was good. Best Paneer I have had in a restaurant. The Mughal's Dastarkhwan is renowned for its rich food and Mughal cuisine. Dastarkhwan is a Persian word that means an expanded table for dining where many can be served together. The food was amazing. We took 2 Lucknow Mutton Biryanis, (which came along with Raita), 5 Paratha Mughlai, their special Chicken Masala (half), 2 plates of Galowti Kabab (commonly known also as Tunday Kabab), 1 all Kabab Platter and 5 Shahi Tukra. It cost us something around INR 5000/- It is highly recommended if you are in Lucknow.

I had ordered Butter chicken, Roghan Josh , Galawati Kebabs, lime soda and Pineapple raita for lunch. Butter chicken was fine had a smoky flavor to it, which generally isn't smoked. Roghan Josh was poorest. No good quality of meat no roghan or aroma of the spices. Serving size was fine for two. The rotis are over priced. Even the roghan Josh is overpriced. Not at all real mughlai taste. The Galawati kebabs were too aroma less, in fact bland and it's seems they don't even use meat for kebabs. Too pricey for average quality of food.

The best BBQ outlet in Lucknow. It offers delicious food with a wide variety of starters and dessert options. Paapdi chaat was specially very delicious among other items. I recently visited Barbeque Nation and had an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we were seated, the aroma of freshly grilled food set the tone for a great meal. I recently visited Barbeque Nation and had an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we were seated, the aroma of freshly grilled food set the tone for a great meal. We enjoyed a variety of delicious items including perfectly grilled sweet and juicy grilled pineapple, crispy corn and many more delicious items. The live grill at the table added a fun, interactive touch to the dining, and the staff( Rishabh )was very attentive, ensuring we were always served fresh and hot food. Overall, it was a excellent dining experience filled with great flavors, excellent service. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!

There is no denying that the quality of food has suffered a lot after the company’s public listing. We have been coming here for a long time and off-late, the quality of food has been pathetic. However, it is the pathetic customer experience which was the highlight during our last visit. Despite making an advanced reservation, which was confirmed through Zomato and by Barbeque Nation, some manager called Santosh (?) refused to accept that the reservation is confirmed. According to him, they called me and I did not pick up, on the day of the reservation, so they assumed that the booking is cancelled. What does that have to do with a confirmed reservation? I have received a confirmation message twice from BBQ Nation and Zomato, and nowhere it said I will receive a call, so why do I need to pick calls from you? So stupid! The manager said that my family will have to leave at a particular time. I challenged him to give it to me in writing. After this, he walked away. Later, I saw him harassing other customers too with the same rubbish logic. Shame on BBQ Nation for treating customers like this. Do you even understand the meaning of the word hospitality? The poor quality of the food was only made worse by the behaviour of the staff. We have made a decision, as a family, to stop visiting BBQ Nation now. I miss the old BBQ Nation where you were always made to feel welcome and the food was top shelf. Thankfully, there are now other options in the city that still value customer service and serve good quality food. We will happily take our business there. So long BBQ Nation!

BBQ - a place that was once a BBQ paradise ('BBQ ka jamana tha') has become a bit underwhelming for me now. Maybe it's just me getting older, but the excitement has worn off. The staff is super humble and courteous, which is a big plus! The food is good, and the variety is decent, but it's not like there's something new to look forward to. It's a bit too crowded for my taste, but it's still a great spot to visit once with family and friends. One visit might be enough to try out all they have to offer.

I recently visited Barbeque Riverside and had a great experience overall! The location is excellent, and the food quality was top-notch. The ambiance was lovely, making for a wonderful time. However, I did notice a few areas for improvement: - The space could be a bit larger compared to other Barbeque locations. - Drinks are billed separately, and the prices are a bit steep. I was surprised to find that a Coolberg cost ₹250, whereas I expected it to be around ₹100, similar to other Barbeque places. If the pricing for drinks could be adjusted, it would be perfect! Otherwise, I have no major complaints.

I recently visited Falak Numa with my partner, and we had a delightful evening. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and warm, which set the perfect tone for a relaxed evening. The live music added a lovely touch, making the ambiance even more enjoyable. While the food was just average, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. We still had a great time together and enjoyed the vibe of the place. I’d definitely consider going back soon for the atmosphere and music.

The most horrible food we ever had. Completely devoid of courtesy and mannerism that otherwise you would expect from the staff to the feedback about horrible quality of food that was served to us. Chicken was undercooked or of substandard quality not fit for human consumption. We expected far better in a city like Lucknow that too from a city’s oldest restaurant. As a mark of respect for other guests not to be misguided I have to produce a copy of paid bill to clarify the feedback is honest and true.

I love this place Nice place to enjoy your evening with family. Food quality is also good. Service is also nice having dinner with live music. You can have choice of your drinks or cocktail. Atmosphere in side the restaurant is really nice where as you can see a bird eye view of lucknow. Must give a try to nonveg if you like.

Extremely bad experience Horrible cutlery, scratched and spotted metallic glasses but manager and waiters were indifferent. Shameful food experience- human hair in many plates found and shown to waiter but no reaction or apology. We left lunch without ordering main course… paid for dishes with hair too… as restaurant billed it.

Went for a dinner date with wife to Falak numa restaurant and had an overall good experience. Food is good and they have good mughlai, north Indian cuisine options. The ambience is also quite good and old school. There was a ghazal performance in the restaurant during the dinner time which added to the experience. View from the corner tables is also good. The cutlery and plates were quite old and did not seem very well maintained. This needs to be improved.

Nothing has changed since the last time I visited them almost 4 yrs back. Still the same bland food. I ordered their chef’s special Rara chicken and honestly there’s nothing special about it. There are certainly better restaurants out there to try out so do not feel tempted about this one because of some instagram reel. I ordered a rara chicken (they serve portion size), 1 garlic naan, 1 sheermal and 1 Lemon soda. The total amount costed me ~Rs 2400 which is bonkers for such small portion of food

What a train journey from Delhi to Guwahati!! The trip was made memorable with the help of Alamgir, Lucknow with their food delivery inside my train coach!!! The excellent taste of Chicken Seekh Kebabs and Mutton Galauti with Rumali and Khamiri made the journey really different. Am gonna visit lucknow soon to taste more of their mouthwatering dishes. Till then no rating on atmosphere Till then a 4 star to Alamgir.. keep up the good work and make travelers like me happy..

Visited this restaurant for dinner with my friend. We are delhiites and love our mughlai cuisine. Went to alamgir with lot of expectations. Reached around 8 pm on a weekday and the restaurant was practically empty. You need to get down at the chowk and its inside the gali opposite Tundey kabab. Nice and comfortable family and non family seating with aircon. We ordered mutton nihari, bheja, liver along with kulcha. Bheja was great. Biryani along with salan was also ordered was great too. Liver was hard and chewy. Nihari fell below expectations. Kulcha was a thick layer of maida paratha. We are used to our hot khameeri rotis in delhi and completely hated the kulcha of lucknow. Their nihari was different than served in delhi and did not like that as well.. possibly its an acquired taste.. all in all a good experience to try lucknowi foods under 1 roof

I ordered 2 full briyani, 2 plate of tunday kabab with shirmal roti but i got the delivery in very bad shape the biryani was eaten along with the kababs and Shermal. As u can see there is no chicken in biryani and the kabab is eaten. Very bad experience with the alamgir.

We ordered Mutton biryani and egg biryani, which was tasteless and very oily, upon asking the waiter and complaining about the same he said it tastes like this only and moved away quickly. Being an culinary expert and food lover, i very well know the taste of a authentic biryani. The AC of the restaurant was not working and the washroom is very unhygienic. Anyone who wants to have a tasty and healthy food please avoid this restaurant.

They offer a large variety of menu which includes veg as well as non veg 🤤 and rates are also very reasonable.......visited here many time but I didn't like their shawarma which I have eaten at afternoon which was not good at also I guess it was not fresh ....I recommend everyone to visit at night .....good place to visit.

Parking space is a problem. Place is quite dirty. Toilets are stinking. There are stain marks on sofas. Crockery is old and stained. Food quality was very poor. Waiter served buttermilk with dirty hands. Whole place was dirty and didn’t feel like touching anything. There was oil smell in sabzi.

This place is located in the main road very easy to find. Their shining billboard and the name "Kareem's" will definitely draw some attention. Parking will not be issue they have good space in form of service road. The ambiance is good and vibrant. Very colourful and striking at first impression. The staff is attentive and quick to take orders. The food is served hot and not much delay. Coming to the taste they definitely need some improvement. It's definitely not among the best restaurant of Lucknow taste wise. The food taste is just average though the quantity is good. The prices are on higher side so the taste improvement is much needed. Shahi Tukda is a delicacy and famous in Lucknow is big let down. They definitely don't know how to prepare it. Rest of the food items were average.

I had ordered mutton nihari last day from zomato from this shop but they didn't gave me any nihari only few left off mutton pieces and full of gravy and charged more then 700 , what the hell u guys are doing worst experience I'll not recommend anyone to visit this shop , they are fraudsters

Amazingly amazing food. The roasted chicken is out of the world. And they have a chicken dish (chicken achari tikka) is one of the best chicken I had in my life. If you visit Lucknow, then must plan a trip to this restaurant.

I recently tried Kareem’s in Gomti Nagar. The Paya Shorba was excellent – light, flavorful and cooked perfectly, definitely the highlight of my meal. The Paya Nihari Special was rich and tasty, though I felt it could be a bit more consistent in tenderness. Kebabs and starters were delicious as always, full of authentic taste. Service was decent and ambiance is fine, though could be improved a little. Overall, a great place for Mughlai food in Lucknow – I’d recommend it for anyone craving good paya dishes and kebabs.

During my trip to Lucknow for business, I ordered some food from Kareems. The biryani was Fabulous and the Chicken roll was crunchy and succulent. The quality of the product is top notch. And food is very affordable given the quality. Will definitely order again.

Food is worst, as per my experience this does not seem to be original Kareem's. Mutton Kebab, Paratha and Mutton Karachi Gravy(this might not be the correct name of the item) were below average and the sahi tukda was worst. All the items were over priced.

I doubt their google map ratings here. They provide 10% off on the order for the google map ratings. Cleanliness is very bad here, food is average and service is ok as well. 1) We had vegetarian biryani here, the rice were very sticky, and biryani was not as the people mentioned here in ratings. Dastarkhan has better biryani than this restaurant. 2) They use the same utensils for vegetarian and non vegetarian biryani. Hygiene is very bad here. 3) Sitting place is very unclean, hand wash unclean and the washroom was very bad.

This place is much talked about for the quality of the Biryani they serve. It is a small restaurant on the junction of a very busy road. We went for dinner around 10 PM and the roads were empty so we did not find any issue with the parking . But during day time when it's quite busy parking will be an issue. The ambiance is moreover like a mess with less seating arrangements. The place definitely looks congested. The place has limited options and it's biryani which is their main usp. They don't have starters except for Galawati Kabab. The place is very pocket friendly and the quantity they serve is quite good at this price. The biryani is just awesome and was piping hot. One of the best biryani can be tasted here in Lucknow. The dessert double ka meetha is also good and one can try this. It's a good place to take out . Dining can be challenging here if crowded . Note : the Mashi Biryani in Gomti Nagar is a total waste and should not be confused with this outlet.

Recently visited Mashi Biryani Chowk outlet after hearing a lot of buzz about their Hyderabadi biryani. For starters, ordered Chicken Galawati Kebab with paratha and I was pleasantly surprised that chicken kebabs were so tender, flavorful & well spiced. The paratha was so thin & flaky, a good one. Next, tried their Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, requesting it to be mildly spicy. While the spice level was still on the higher side but damm good in taste. It was served with salan & raita and the portion size was more than enough. It was a great switch from the usual Awadhi biryani to this one. Overall the visit was satisfying and worth it.

Must visit if you are in Lucknow and want to have best taste in affordable price range. Everything was perfect... quality, quantity, service Improvement area - Instead of rice they should add more pieces of chicken (😔 should be 3 or 4 in single rather than 2 ) Dining area could have been more spacious with few more waiters considering the crowd at peak hours which will eventually result into less waiting time. Service was amazing

Located in a crowded street had two shops adjacent both belongs to same owner the newer one has better seating facility Had mutton biryani and mutton korma the biryani was served with onion salad and chutney and raita the raita was very thick biryani rice was lacking flavours but the mutton was juicy and tender.

Let's get the main thing out of the way: the biryani tastes amazing. This is exactly what Lucknow/Awadhi style biryani is supposed to taste like. The mutton korma was pretty mouthwatering too - must try. Not the most hygienic place though. There's a separate airconditioned seating just two shops ahead of the main restaurant which is still better.

I went there around 5pm. It was tye day shravan ended. Gawd the crowd. I almost fainted waiting for food for 2 hrs. Mutton Biryani was good but cudnt lay hands on anything else. What failed was to manage how to attend to orders and whom to serve. 2 hours waiting pateintly to be served and then being pushed to the back becos some vvip need to be served at the seated location was the turning point where i lost my patience. Will.i go again yes on a day where its not crowded. Not worth 2 hrs wait.

The best biryani in the whole world is here!! Not kidding. I have been to several Islamic countries including Iran, Lebanon, UAE, Egypt etc. etc. But trust me, nowhere we get biryani like Lalla biryani. Also, Verma Uncle (the owner) is a gem of a person. Very hardworking and humble. 5 stars are less for Lalla Biryani. I love it sooooo much!! ❤❤❤❤❤

This place is just few meters away from the Toll. Very good place to have food and coffee. We had breakfast once while travelling. The food was good and served hot but the waiting time was more. The atmosphere was very pleasant when the breeze hits your face. Special mention to the toilets, they had a clean toilet which was very useful since we were travelling from Chennai. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

I had the half portion of Hyderabadi Chicken biryani which was quite satisfying and tasty . The quantity was good for one but the seating and ambience was not as expected . The seating was upstairs which had lack of space and i would personally not recommend anyone planning to take your family to the restaurant. Altogether the taste was good but the seating and space was just not sufficient. Would rather prefer ordering online or using take away option and have it at home .

I have been a fan of Hyderabadi Biryani also alongwith Lucknow Biryani,I always craved for Hyderabadi Biryani in Lucknow.Mashi Biryani at Chowk has been a pioneer in this at Lucknow. Got Mutton Hyderabadi Biryani from Mashi and got the taste of Hyderabad after years.The Mutton pieces were very tender and rice properly blended.Tasty stuff!!

This was my 1st time experience in mashi briyani, it was good but little bit spicy in taste. I not love to much spicy but for those who love spicy 🔥 this is the heaven for them. Taste was good , well cooked pieces was served. Very eye catching outlet, but little bit small place.

I asked for less spicy , you gave me full spicy. He always makes this mistake. And the quantity was not good. And while giving the order they not listen properly and prepare the order as per thir own wish. I have made this mistake four or five times.ordering from here is big mistake.

I recently visited Kava at Fairfield Marriott for a family dinner with a party of 14, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Firstly, the air conditioning was not working, making the dining area uncomfortably warm. This issue set a negative tone for the evening. The service was incredibly slow. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy, we faced long wait times for our orders and any assistance we needed. The live counters, usually a highlight, were also operating at a sluggish pace, adding to our frustration. The menu was another major letdown. It lacked variety and the advertised South Indian counters were completely unavailable, which was a significant disappointment for many in our group. The main course options that were available were mediocre at best. Additionally, the staff appeared undertrained and unprepared to handle the needs of the guests. They struggled to provide prompt service and accurate information about the menu items. Overall, our experience at Kava did not meet the standards we expected from a Marriott establishment. I hope the management takes immediate steps to address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.

The ambiance was somewhat classy. I was a walk-in at the restaurant for breakfast. There were many options available and the taste was also decent. I really liked the upma and poha. The service was good and the place was clean and hygienic. The staff was friendly.

I'd been here on a business trip with colleagues. We were staying at Fairfield and after the long day, decided to have dinner at Kava and retire. The spread was decent and the taste was what I'd expect from a place like this. However, I did expect a little more of the local cuisine and not the Gujarati special which was on during our stay. Definitely worth a try. Need to try again to make a more concrete opinion.

It sucks when you’re recognised as an old patron, and then when you specifically ask for breast pieces, to be given an ass piece of chicken in the biryani. The rice was flavourful, yes, but it’s the botis that make the biryani. I’m glad they weren’t having mutton biryani in stock, for I am sure that they’d have given me a tail piece in it.

Go for Kabab Parantha, they are absolutely a different variety. Eating from this shop from year 2001. Taste didnt changed, only charge changed, that is 20 Rs to 120 Rs per plate. Opposite of Dainik Jagran office.

i used to eat here when the roll was only 20 rupees but now it is 60 but worth it , The kebab is super tasty and paratha too, its small shop selling kabab , biryani , boti kebab , kaleji etc , there is no sitting option but if tatste is good then there is no need to sit , biryani quantity is more than any outlet in lucknow , in one plate you can eaisly share with friends , my favourite is kebab so go for it

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER Ordered food from Swiggy and it was pathetic. I ordered panned tawa masala and got rubber instead of panner, the texture, the taste was so similar to that of rubber and there was more oil than gravy.
