Art Museums
Warrington Museum & Art Gallery, established in 1857, houses an impressive collection of over 200,000 artifacts displayed in original Victorian glass cabinets. Managed by Culture Warrington, this charitable trust oversees various cultural venues and events in the town. The museum offers free entry and features a captivating dinosaur exhibit that takes visitors on a journey through time.
I been to this museum today and it was good and I used to come here with my ex mate Blake when I 1st time come here in 2015 and he used to show me round here and I will be coming back to this museum again!

What a wonderful experience. Welcoming, friendly, polite, and helpful staff. Great exhibitions in every room. Arts and crafts for the young ones, too.

A hidden gem. We've lived nearby this fantastic museum for over a decade and never visited because I had assumed it would be small. However we spent some delightful hours perusing their collections. Their botany section is fascinating. Natural history fantastic. The museum is laid out in the most captivating way. Intriguing items provoke curiosity. The museum makes full use of the building's stunning architecture becoming part of the exhibits. The mezzanine area is stunning with my daughter saying it defies gravity. Learning opportunities are plenty with access to free craft activities, lots of child focused areas intermingled with the museum's journey, including hands on play, mini toy areas, dress up activities and tonnes of drawers to open and further explore. They even offer free hot drinks in the craft area. I adored the highly artistic way in which the older items were displayed. Beautifully laid out in very traditional cabinets. Hats off to their curator and conservators for a well thought out highly engaging museum that embraces local culture, art and history. Absolutely wonderful.

Popped in on a weekday when in the location on business. A lovely find. I particularly enjoyed the Coney Island photo exhibition as I have fond childhood memories from there. The building itself is unique in that the rooms are split with a second exhibition positioned on a mezzanine floor. This is a great use of space and a nice added feature. The only downside was that the sound travelled through. The staff, whilst very friendly, also spoke quite loudly and this detracted my attention a little.

I say this place is okay just because I have to compare to other museums. Its more than okay in my eyes but I can't give it 4 or 5. This is a really good little place to go for a couple of hours for free with or without children. There's a few small exhibits. My eldest sons fave is the ancient Egypt where there is a real mummified child which is really cool. My youngests favourite is the jurassic exhibit. For me I like seeing the retro exhibit which shows different items for different eras. There's lots of hands on for the kids, dress ups, drawings, board games, dinosaurs, Jigsaws and om Saturday I think between 12 and 2pm but I may be wrong on the times they have free arts and crafts for the kids it's really great. It spotlessly clean and there's an area for lunch if you've made one. Once you've finished there's a library you can go to which is quite large with a great kids section and plenty of selection for adults too. Great for a fun and informative few hours out.

Went to see wake me up before you Dodo exhibition, it's was excellent. It's not bad for a small museum, although could do with updating some of the descriptions of artifacts because some have no explanation and maybe open more during the holidays. Definitely worth a visit for all of the family.

Water & Amusement Parks
Children's amusement center
Gulliver's World Theme Park is a family-friendly venue catering to children aged 2-13, offering over 80 rides, shows, and attractions. The park features themed areas like Lilliput Land and Safari Kingdom, as well as indoor play areas and water games. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as train rides, rollercoasters, splash rides, and soft shooting games at the Nerf Zone.
A wonderful visit to Gulliver's World Theme Park with family and friends comprising 14 members. Both the categories; adults as well as kids enjoyed various rides. I as individual experienced rail, pirates boat and the one besides it-The revolving boat with a man, tower boat slide and other members enjoyed many more. It has been a unique experience to have enjoyed among such a variety of general.public from all nationalities, local and foreigners, cultures and creeds. Park is being managed very well. We left only when it was closing hours. We had booked the park to celebrate the birthday of our grandson and everyone enjoyed the event. Well done to the management of Gulliver's World Theme Park..

We went with three kids 1, 3 and 7. They all thought it was great. The newer areas like Oz are well kept but some of the other areas just need a lick of paint and a tidy up. We saw a lot of rubbish and uncleaned parts of the park (picture of the lake). Every member of the young staff team were great, couldn’t be faulted. The rides are fine for that age, although most had a decent queue of 20 mins to 45 mins. We stayed in the lodge accommodation which was fine, don’t expect anything exceptional (the price reflects that). The safari lodges were chip board throughout with no doors separating the rooms and the shower filled up within seconds so your wash will be quite rushed. With that said as adults we saw both negatives and positives. The kids only saw the positives. If your going for a day or two with an overnight stay it serves the purpose.
Alex J — Google review
We went on and SEN day where the park was quiet and both ourselves and our two little boys really enjoyed it. Weather wasn't great but we were still able to use all the rides, staff appeared to be more understanding of everyone's situations and if there was no queue they allowed us to stay on the ride for another turn which saved the hassle of having to get the kids off the ride to then put them back on after walking back to the entrance. Park is showing its age and could do with a general clean and update, but still a really fun day

Wow what an evening. We went as a large family group last night to the Land of Lights in Gulliver's World. This was our first time to this kind of event and we were not disappointed at all. The whole experience was truly spectacular. The lights were fantastic, the food great. We had pizzas all round nd the kids really enjoyed the witch ice-cream tubs, while the adults went for the delicious hot chocolate. All the staff were really friendly and helpful including all those on fire out duty for roasting the marshmallows . Along with I think it was Pete and Amanda who were really friendly and exceptional in their service 😁. I would highly recommend this if you have never been. We will definitely be back and watch out for further events at Gullivers.

This is a really fun theme park for the kids. I think the ages they are aiming at are probably between 6-10 but they still have some rides for the older kids too. Some rides are very popular & the wait time can be up to 30+ minutes but when I went it was Bank Holiday Sunday so was bound to be busy. My daughter is 14 & although some rides are for little kids they still had a few aimed at older kids such as the rollercoaster & drop ride which were really fun. We will definitely return & take my niece again when she's a bit older.
Calum B — Google review
We went bank holiday Monday for my son’s birthday, paid £122, for 4 people we managed to get on 4 rides. Then over £100 extra inside the grounds, Really disappointed, most rides were 2 hour queing times. it wasn’t even they were really packed the problem was they had 1 person loading the rides, that same person would then have to strap each person in so the safety checks then set the ride in motion, then stop the ride unload the ride then reload the ride, the big rollercoaster only had 1 carriage running. Considering it was a bank holiday they should have had more staff working, knowing the weather was hot and it would be busy. The place is card only the internet went down couldn’t buy drinks ice cream nothing for like 40minutes. When we finally got round to getting drinks got through the massive ques there were no bottled pop left no bottled water. We went in the restaurant at the main entrance for lunch, the food was served quite quickly, but while eating lunch the power tripped like 7 times. I have made a formal complaint said I would hear from them within 7 days, I’m still waiting 2 weeks later 🙈 would we visit here again No, and we’re local only around 20minutes away, we normally do the eat sleep play and have been to Milton keys and Sheffield and Yorkshire. Never had any problems like we had in Warrington, I don’t think we will visit here again.

I took my 4 year old grandson and 2 year old granddaughter my grandson couldn't go on any rides with out an adult as it would mean leaving my granddaughter alone my grandson was so up set. The only saving grace is that the santa trip was excellent its truly worth it my grandchildren really enjoyed this part of the day, just wish you didn't have to pay full price if you can't use the rides. Also if your planing to go take another adult with you so your little ones don't feel left out. I must give a shout out to the young man on the merry go round he seen how up set the babies were and let them stay on for an extra go he is a great asset to the gullivers team.
Mandy J — Google review
It was our granddaughters birthday and we went along to the park with her. It turned out to be a great day out. There are tons of rides for younger children and lots of parks to play in with picnic area's nearby so you can eat while the kids play. There isn't very much for older children to ride on, so it's limited in that respect. But if you have younger children, it's great value for money and you can easily spend all day there and just about see it all.

Garden
Nature & Parks
Walton Hall and Gardens is a grand Elizabethan-style hall surrounded by beautiful ornamental gardens, offering a variety of attractions for visitors. Acquired in 1941, the property was transformed into a public park shortly after World War II. The 32-acre parkland provides an ideal setting for picnics and outdoor activities, including a children's zoo featuring diverse animals like parrots, ponies, ferrets, and more.
Walton Hall and Gardens is a gem of a place, especially for children to play and run around in. It has a little children's zoo, which adds to its appeal. When we visited, fun activities included a Thomas Tank Engine train and a fun run around the gardens. There is also mini golfing and a rope climbing activity which are charged. There are not many places that can be visited for free, so it is good for budget conscious families. As it was busy, the car park, quickly became full. There is a parking charge of £4.90 for the day.

Great place for a family day out! Had a lovely experience at this place. The whole area is very clean and well maintained. The small zoo was a pleasant surprise, free and perfect for kids to enjoy. There's a large, impressive playground with plenty of activities to keep children entertained for hours. Parking was £4.50 for the whole day on the weekend. Overall, it’s a peaceful, fun, and family-friendly place to spend the day.

Beautiful park with many free things to offer. The mini zoo inside is a pleasant surprise with a variety of animals more to offer than most farms I have been to and it’s free. Open spaces with beautiful garden centre with plants to see a lovely little cafe with little stalls, plenty of clean toilets spotted around the area near the park as well as near the cafe area, definitely well kept and a breath of fresh air. The open spaces and park is just amazing with alot to offer children of all ages. Not many places have free things to offer and this had a good mix. There are two ice cream vans with affordable but delicious ice creams as well cold drinks. The zoo closes around 4:30 and the cafe at 5:00 so ensure you don’t miss out and go within the times of possible. The Thomas ride on is £3 per person and flags for £1 lovely little feature if you don’t fancy walking but want to see the park. Car park is pay and display and disabled spaces getting 3 hours for free.

Was fortunate to be able to have a wander around the hall as part of Heritage Open Days. The lady from the Friends group was extremely helpful and the group have done an excellent job with the house. It was built in the 1830's by the Greenall family, of brewing fame. Hopefully that work will continue so that it can continue to develop and be opened up more often for the public. It's now owned by the Council who have developed the grounds with a children's zoo and play area, as well as a cafe and plenty of local walks.

Recently checked this place out. It's great for families. You have a big children's play area. A children's zoo which is more like a farm with farm animals to visit. You also have a jungle Parc, crazy golf for children and normal golf course for adults. Cycle museum which I think you got to book to visit. You have Walton hall and gardens, a pond to view and there is also toilets and a cafe on the premises. Ideal place for a local day out with the family. Opens 8am until 8pm Current parking costs for cars Mon to Fri = £3.50 decent size carpark. Sat to Sun (bank holidays) =£4.50

Lovely day put for kids. Cute little zoo and play area. Gorgeous formal gardens. Parking wasa a challenge as was packed but managed to fund somewhere in the end. On way out went for a walk down the canal which was lovely.

Gorgeous park with a little animal area, really good sized play park for children with two separate areas for different ages. The food is gorgeous in the stables cafe area too. Nice visit.

Must say a hidden gem park with an amazing mini zoo (and it's included with the car parking which was £4.50 for the day). Very neatly maintained and loads of spaces to explore within the park. Will recommend getting some snacks & coffee from outside although there's a cafe in the park but a bit expensive (£4-6 for a coffee/hot choc). Overall it's a fun park with kids around.

Really enjoyed this visit with my children and my friend and her child today! A massive thankyou to staff member Ellie on the jumping pillow for helping and encouraging my young son to join in and helping him! Really went out of her way for him! Greeted by the Easter bunny on arrival lots to do and so glad we came was worth the drive! X

Good place to come with the kids, really clean and loads to do. My negatives are the food is ridiculously expensive £4 for chips?!? £2.50 for a bottle of coke?. The food service was fast and the only thing I'd say was worth it off the menu was the hotdogs
Callum S — Google review
This is a great place for family fun, lots for the kids with good variety. Just be mindful if the add ons, coins and tokens required for some rides, so this can mount up. The upside is they generally have good discounts online for entry tickets. So overall wish visiting.

Went today. Had a awesome time with family of 9. Took a picnic as I heard food prices was a bit expensive. £30 for 4 jacket potato's. But had a good day. Apart from the new yellow slide. You get stuck in it. Went on it 3 times With sack. Without sack. Took shoes off. Still got stuck in it.

I’ve emailed 4 times and tried to call but still no reply. We went to spooky world and whilst stood in the queue to get on the hayride a heated argument between 2 members of staff broke out resulting in one hitting the other. I was with my young children and there were so many others on the queue. They were traumatised. And when I asked if the other member of staff could get security they ignored me. I had to get them myself. And I sent them the video I took of the argument. It was shocking behaviour. They were drunk and were not the only staff who were drinking on the night. We caught some behind another container. You put your health and safety in their hands for this. Please can someone reply to my email

Great place to bring 3 to 12 year old , not enough their really for teenagers. Used to be able to take picnics etc but that's stopped now due to people just leaving their rubbish on the floor even though plenty of bins are provided. You can still take a sandwich etc just not full blown picnics.
Martin N — Google review
Had a good day. Plenty of parking and It wasn't too busy. I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there. But excellent ice-cream with generous portions. It would have better if they accepted card payment on all their rides. The fairground rides only accept tokens, the smaller rides need pound coins, while shops and food outlets take cards. Be wary of the mini diggers 2 out of the 3 that we tried didn't work properly.
Anthony C — Google review
All attractions done within 90 minutes (excluding paid for ones). Still made a day of it by going on everything multiple times, but the adventure farm is alot smaller than similar competitors. Which leads me nicely onto my main gripe; this place isn't cheap - so to have to pay for so many attractions whilst here is really annoying. There was a miniature funfair, and very slow go carts that needed to be paid for on top of entry fee so bear that in mind... In my opinion, the absolute maximum upper age limit here is 11 - this place is 100% designed for a younger audience. Kids had fun (2 x9 year olds and an 11 year old) but as mentioned, it doesn't take very long to do everything here. I would not have been happy had I paid full price - I benefitted from 40% off at the time. But it isn't worth the full price. Edit to add; the prices of food are eye watering so I'd advise to take your own picnic. It's £2 for a cup of instant coffee (always a no from me as I don't drink instant rubbish - but I certainly wouldn't pay £2 for it if I did). £2 for a chocolate bar. £6.50 for a pancake!

Great local market with lots of different selections on offer from multiple vendors, amazing hand crafted goods, a barbers a music shop on the mezzanine floor and Warrington’s cookhouse inside and outside for some of the best food in the area, this is an amazing place to spend an afternoon. The cook house has a great selection of drinks from the hop emporium and the food from all the vendors is highly quality and very flavourful.

Love it here! We often come for wellbeing afternoons with work and it’s always a great experience. Prices are fair, the food is excellent with loads of variety, and drinks (cocktails and beers) are fun to try and always served quickly. The place is clean, has a great atmosphere, and is a fantastic spot to spend time with colleagues.

This is a great concept but I would recommend your all order from the same place if you want to eat together. I'd finished my Chinese meal whilst we waited over 30 minutes for my wife's Thai. We both found the food mediocre and won't rush back.

What a great place. We walked past this a couple of times and never thought about it. The food court is incredible. All small businesses working in the same place. We had Korean chicken and it was incredible. We took away some baklava and turkish delights. They are beautiful. Highly recommend going in and having a look.

Always great food and drinks. Have been coming here for 2 years. Feeling like pizza, hamburgers, Thai or proper English? Literally everything is great and not pricy - of course not posh, but you get your hunger satisfied. Also the coffee from two brothers is amazing. People are friendly, always some good vibes, events. Also you can scan tables (they are all numbered) and order without standing up and walking away from friends. And proper beers. Anyway - come and enjoy.

Located on London Road in Stockton Heath, Terrace Bistro is a small independent restaurant that has garnered numerous five-star reviews. Guests have praised the bistro for its impressive service and delicious food. While some minor issues were noted, such as undercooked fries and salty bacon chop, the overall dining experience was highly recommended for its ambiance and attentive staff. The chefs at Terrace Bistro are lauded for their culinary artistry and ability to cook dishes to perfection.
Absolutely stunning place to eat, the food and wine were amazing and the staff were so attentive. The chef made the time to speak to us, and his staff couldn't do enough...we couldn't fault it and will definitely be returning. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The service was really good. Very professional and attentive throughout the entire meal. It was really close to 5* but a couple of things let it down... the fries with the steak were a little under done (but the steak and pepper sauce were delicious), the bacon chop was very salty (I understand bacon will be salty but it was very overpowering) and the cheesecake had more of a tiramisu consistency. That said, the food was very good and I would definitely recommend it for the ambiance and service... the ricotta, soup and courgette tart were delicious... and they have a good wine selection.

Corks Out Stockton Heath is an award-winning wine shop with a surprising spacious interior and a charming covered outdoor terrace. The atmosphere is lively, making it a great spot to enjoy drinks and nibbles. The menu offers a good selection of spirits, fizz, wines, as well as fresh pizza and sharing platters. The staff are friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming environment for visitors.
Fantastic evening at Corks Out for a family catch-up. Great atmosphere and friendly staff are on the call offering advice on drinks and food. Loved the decor and relaxed chic feel of the restaurant and there’s intimate bar rooms if you are looking for a more private quiet evening. We opted for the restaurant overlooking the cosy open fire patio. Amazing drinks including an Orange Wine. I had a delicious mocktail as designated driver and it didn’t disappoint. We had tasty antipasti and freshly baked salami pizzas. We ordered extra garlic bread it was so delicious. The friendly attentive staff from the manager to the serving staff made it a lovely evening. Can’t wait to go back and highly recommend Corks Out for a special fun evening out.

Best bar in Warrington… maybe even the entire north west. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks are 10/10 (especially the Mango Unchained IPA). Food is 20/10, highly recommend the chorizo bites or pesto and Prosciutto pizza. Oh and they’re also dog friendly, need I say more.

The team at Corks Out always go the extra mile to provide an excellent service. They are professional and super friendly no matter how busy the bar is they do their best to accommodate everyone. Although always best to book! The pizzas are delicious & the prices are very reasonable. We popped in for some wine before Christmas and decided to stay for a quick lunch while we waited for our dog to be finished at the local groomers. We hadn’t realised that there was a bar/cafe at the rear of the wine shop. It was a good spot, not too busy which suited us. And the pizza and garlic bread was really very good. They were out of Coca Cola though, otherwise it was a lovely lunch. A rare trip out for us.

I have been here a few times in the past with friends and enjoyed the evening. Tried to go with two kids (6 and 7) at 5.30pm on a weekday to be told "no kids after 5pm, sorry". Disappointing that the kids curfew was so early but if that's the vibe they want then fair enough. I can understand later in the evening but 5pm is ridiculously early! Posting for others info that might be coming with kids only to be turned away. It won't stop me coming back with friends but it's disappointing to see this in an otherwise family friendly area.

We thought we were walking into a wine shop. Lovely room/conservatory through the back. With booths down one side and small tables down the other. The drinks menu included a good range of spirits, fizz and wines. Small menu for food, this included fresh pizza and sharing platters. We had a meat and cheese sharing platter and garlic bread, both were delicious. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be going back.

Just walked in, asked if there are any seats the the ginger guy behind the bar said, ‘No that’s why there are people standing there!’ There was two ladies stood in the corner pretty much out of View. Why the need to be so rude ? The place was full of females so probably don’t like a couple being in there. Second time we have tried going there and second rude experience. Appalling.

I have dined here several times and the food and service has been great. I have always tipped both things on merit but this time I was shocked to learn they added a service charge of 12.5%. I would of tipped anyway but it isn't right that this is added on involuntary. We should have the right to tip or not as we wish, this isn't the USA. I will not be returning unless you remove this service charge. No wonder the place was almost empty. Thank you and goodnight.

Mr. Lau is the one of the only two Chinese restaurants in the city centre of Warrington. I had a day having a lunch with friends. I came here because of its fame as told by people. The restaurant is in an arrogant and classic upholstery, warm lightings and comfortable dining atmoshpere. However, the dim sums were not at quality as we could expect. The dishes were at small plates with no generous portions to fill ones' stomach. The prices of food are not at so good prices if the restaurant does not provide choices of set meals by having selections of dim sums and others dishes at decent prices. When entering the restauarnt, customers have to climb upstairs and downstairs to dining hall and ground floor. I think there it has no good reason coming back again. It is so sorry to have such comment. This restaurant niches in the Fusion foods which are not for Chinese gourmets.

We had a fantastic meal here, great service, great ambiance and beautiful food. The waitress told us of the offer for 4 dim sum for £20, so we ordered 8 different dim sum between 2 of us and each one was delicious! We were attentively seen by both the bar staff and our friendly waitress. All the food was brought out at once and about 10 minutes after ordering! For the 8 dim sum and 3 soft drinks each came for just over £60 and for the quality of the food felt this was very reasonable!

Tapas restaurant
Las Ramblas Wine & Tapas is a vibrant spot located in the Treasury Building, offering a mix of classic and modern Spanish tapas paired with an extensive selection of wines. While reservations are recommended for weekend evenings, walk-ins are often accommodated during afternoons. The restaurant has reopened post-lockdown with safety measures in place. Guests have praised the beautifully cooked and flavorful tapas menu, highlighting dishes like surf and turf, deep-fried brie with cranberry, and straw fries.
Went Friday lunch to celebrate my daughters birthday and the service and food were fantastic, the lady who served us was so lovely, she refused an extra £10 tip, saying no as included in the price, my daughter wanted to give her a little extra as she was amazing and really lovely but she wouldn't accept it at all, and said no treat yourself to a cocktail. We ordered lots and lots of different dishes and all were cooked lovely, no complaints at all, will definitely return.

Wonderful authentic Spanish restaurant. They have a great set menu which I would highly recommend. Great tasting starters like the scallops which were cooked to perfection and the best tasting churros we've ever had. Besides the amazing food is the outstanding service we got from Simon(someone give that man a raise!) He made our dining experience even better with his excellent knowledge, service and fun personality. We will definitely go back!

Excellent tapas lunch with friends on Saturday. The restaurant manager was excellent as we had a friend who had a citrus allergy. He very kindly spoke to the chef and highlighted the foods which she should avoid. The food and drinks were delicious and the service second to none. We would definitely recommend. We will be returning, many thanks to all staff for making our visit so enjoyable.

A big group booking for us and certainly not disappointed. I had paella to share with five other guests and then had the suckling pig dish, which I really recommend. And the classic churros and chocolate too! Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

Just been to Las Ramblas Warrington. First vist and won’t be the last. The food was amazing, and if you come you have got to have the deep fried Brie with Raspberry Coulis. The Decadent Chocolate brownie dessert definitely lived up to its name. The staff were great, didn’t hover over us and didn’t rush us.

Stopped here for lunch on my way to Wales. Firstly, Naomi was an amazing host, very friendly and super helpful. Good variety of Tapas and drinks, some better than others, but all very good. I would highly recommend the olives, and the deep fried Brie, and definately ask to sit in Naomi’s section :) Well worth a visit.

Took my mum for few cocktails and we also tried the "3 for £12" tapas on Tuesday. Extra friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Food is DELICIOUS. The staff can't do more to be at your service, I love coming back again and again with my friends and family. Worth every single penny.

A great restaurant serving a varied selection of tasty dishes. A clean, well presented establishment, great ambience, excellent customer service, and good food at reasonable prices. We did book in advance ( for a Saturday night) . When we tried to book online it showed no availability, so phoned up and managed to secure a table. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Everything was absolutely perfect! But what really stood out to me was the customer service – it was unbelievable. They were so kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I had the best experience, and I can’t thank them enough. Truly some of the sweetest and most supportive staff I’ve ever met!

Came here on Saturday evening. The food was delicious! I will definitely be back! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I had a very good Margarita cocktail too 😀 The Sirloin Steak was amazing and the chips were amazing too as well as the side of mash! I couldn't fault any of it! I will definitely be going back ❤️

My family visited to celebrate both my mother’s and daughter’s birthdays yesterday. We chose the early evening menu and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. What really stood out to us was the fantastic service from our waiter Thomas. He was patient, accommodating and attentive. His colleague Kelsey was also friendly and warm. I don’t usually write reviews but the staff here are fantastic. Small touches like bringing colouring pencils for my daughter and sincere interactions with us made the place feel very welcoming. The food itself was excellent but the staff set a standard that many other restaurants could learn from. We will definitely return!

I went a while ago, reasonably priced, tasteful, quick to deliver extra sauces. And the staff/chefs were excellent. I also liked how you can change the thick chips to fries to suit your taste.Would recommend, the sauces are excellent.

We were recommended to try The Grill on the Square by a colleague who lives in Warrington, and we are so glad we did! Situated in a cosy and beautiful square, almost hidden from the city centre hustle and bustle, the grill on the square looks fantastic both inside and out. We were warmly greeted and offered some drinks whilst we perused the menus in the bar area. The server brought our drinks over and then took our food order. In no time at all we were shown to our table and to my surprise our starters were laid out waiting for us which was a lovely touch. We had ordered from the set menu, and both the starters, mains, and sides were absolutely delectable! Absolutely fantastic quality taste and presentation. The refreshingly attentive staff brought our meals out and asked if we wanted anything else during our meal and also brought over a complementary bottle of house wine, which was a fantastic surprise. I cannot fault the grill on the square and thoroughly recommend it. The waigu croquettes are phenomenal.
