We had lunch here yesterday. The food was delicious. The American breakfast was cooked to perfection, would recommend if you want a mixture of savoury and sweet. Friend had the stacked breakfast bap and absolutely loved it. Such a lovely team that work here and the atmosphere was great.

Absolutely amazing bakery! We chose white lace bakery to make our wedding cake and we couldn’t have been happier with our cake. From our first communication with Lindsay to cake tasting and the absolutely beautiful cake on our big day nothing was too much trouble, even when we had to take our 14 month old to the cake tasting with us! The staff are fantastic, helpful and always smiling. Thankyou so much Lindsay you are all amazing at what you do!

We had Morning Tea, which is a full breakfast in afternoon tea style. The food was excellent, and was clearly all made fresh. It is presented on a 2-tier tray with the bottom tier being the cooked breakfast part, and the top being the continental side of things. The cooked items were ham and egg on a muffin, pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, sausage on a brioche bun and toast with feta, avocado and peppers. Quality was fantastic, and all was the perfect temperature. The top tier was a range of pastries, fruit, a savoury scone and granola with yoghurt. Service was as you'd expect with a range of different items being prepared, but the food came in good time. Service was very friendly and the overall experience was very nice. All in all I can't find fault with anything during our visit.

We came on Monday as a treat for my daughter’s birthday for the Morning Tea. Lovely little shop with nice decor. My daughter isn’t big on cakes so we went for the breakfast option and we were not disappointed at all. Food was lovely xx

In my best Craig Revel-Horwood! A- maze- ing darlin!! My wife has had us stop at this bakery a few times for take away cakes which have always been impressive each time. This occasion we went in to try their lunch time menu, a brunch, however we caught them in their crossover period so we had their breakfast menu instead. We both ordered pancakes, and I particularly wasn't expecting much, no disrespect, but perhaps very thin pancakes. Not that that would have been a problem for me, but what came blew me away, and my stomach! The pancakes were so thick, covered in melted chocolate, decorated nicely and extremely filling! Very reasonably priced, but do remember that all foods are cooked fresh and to order. Do expect up to 30 minutes wait, even if it is quiet, but rest assure with a coffee and chat in between, this time flies. Please do pay this smaller business a visit and give them your support 🙂

Had a specific idea of what I wanted for my grandads 70th birthday cake since he loves sweets. From start to finish, WLB have been so helpful, friendly and listened to everything. Not only did the cake taste amazing, everyone loved the fun design and my grandad was absolutely made up. They completely exceeded my expectations and I still can’t get over how great it looked & tasted! Staff were always friendly throughout the process and gave clear, helpful instructions how to store and get home from town. Thank you so much ☺️🙏🏼

Looks like a lovely place. So on a nice sunny day I went in to order tea and scone. And waited. And waited. Perhaps there was only one person working this Sunday 12.30ish. So I ordered. The young lass was as expected - a minimum of politeness. Take a seat outside, looking forward to a lazy snack. In a timely fashion she brought out the tray of cherry scone, clotted cream, rock hard mini packet of butter and a cup of tea... with a tea bag in the cup still. They could not even be arsed to make a real pot of tea. So, I poured in the provided glass jug of watery milk, removed that satanic thing from my cup and stirred. It was a good job my throat was as parched as an El Alamein trooper at noon, or that 'tea' would have been the end. Suffice to say it wet the sides, but that was all. On to the scone. Nice. Or rather, as a previous reviewer has stated, the mere attempt to butter said scone with the concrete butter destroyed the scone. Alas, the crumbs were eaten - given my ravenous state, naturally. So now I give this review in all sincerity and forewarn others.

Went for a coffee - what an awful place it is. First of all no one to take an order it’s like McDonalds with self serve kiosks except you pay £3.90 for a cappuccino. When you’ve ordered you pick up a bleeper and allegedly the coffee will be brought to you. Well, first of all it’s hard to find a clean table, then when you do the coffee takes ages to come presumably because they’ve no idea where you’ve sat. When it finally arrives it’s very average Won’t be going again !

Recently went to do a holiday clothes shop and get some currency. Spent several hundred pounds in store but despite it advertising free parking apparently there is a time limit of 1hr and 30 mins!! I have returned from holiday to a parking charge of £50. I will never spend another penny at this store again

I think the food hall is good for the food however it’s very busy and the pizzas easily sell out very fast and need restocking along with other items. Good quality food and a nice place to shop. However the cafe does have plates from last tables and need clearing as people leave and then there is no where to sit down.

Quick shopping trip for school uniform, as they had a huge range an most sizes. The clothes for adults an children was amazing with lots of sizing options. The food hall is large an a great variety of produce. Staff were friendly. There is a lot of parking space outside the shop, with disablied bays an parent bays. A cafe inside too.

First, the recent refurb with all the new fridges has diminished the overall shopping experience at the store because it means you are forever opening huge fridge doors whilst also picking up everybody else’s germs on the fridge handles. Also, I encountered a very rude M&S bakery worker at Gemini today who barged right in front of me without any excuse me or manners, so they need to improve manners training too!

For a shop the size that it is there was no AC and just giant fans dotted around the store which did nothing. Alot of the tills are self service which would be fine if there was any signal in the store to be able to use Apple Pay on your phone… if you’re lucky and there’s someone nearby they come out with a different machine to take payment. The cafe is all self service machines, then they bring your items to the table. You pay £3.50 for a small cup of coffee which we had to send back as it was half empty. The cakes were a decent size but tasted stale. When we asked for a saucer for our cups we were told they don’t do saucers and to just leave our spoons on the table… we had to ask twice for napkins as they kept forgetting to bring them. All in all not the best experience for a shop of its name and size.

Went to see how store was after being away quite a few years. Interior is well laid out although the lift had small capacity ( we need to use the lift as one of our party is in a wheelchair). Cafe was very good ( only downgraded from excellent as it's self service touchscreen ordering which I'm not keen on). All in all a very good visit

Had such a lovely experience today at Sextons. Our waitress went above and beyond with both service and friendliness. When my husband couldn’t decide which of the soups to have and left it to the chef to decide we ended up with a bowl of both! (equally delicious though chicken and chorizo won my vote). My ploughman’s was superb as was the coffee and cakes. All the staff were incredibly friendly. We will probably stay in Lymm an extra day to sample the ice cream too. Thank you! A lovely afternoon all round.

The lovely place in Lymm near the canal. I had some breakfast and coffee with my wife. The service is good and all the people there smile. What a great morning. Highly recommend having a walk through the footpath near the canal after breakfast.

Had to update my review of sextons... first time I went (pics) great service and great food and great experience However came a 2nd time May bank holiday weekend and unfortunately experience was rubbish... waitress forgot to write down my order, on the second occasion after this got the order wrong, our drinks arrived (coffees) stone cold and although this isn't the owners fault annoying dogs trying to eat off your tables etc First experience very good second experience very bad

What a fab cafe, shop and bakery! We stumbled across this when we stopped to visit another cafe in the area (sssh don’t tell them 😂) as we were mooching down by the river before breakfast. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We were buying some items from the shop first and they said we could just add those to our total bill if we wanted to eat breakfast first. Food was delicious. Drinks were great. Brilliant portions of both! Will definitely be adding this to my favourite places to stop again! ❤️

Visited today, absolutely lovely Cafe and Bakery. All staff were so attentive and lovely. Really go above and beyond for the customers. Drinks and Cakes were also very good. In such a cute area and also dogs are allowed inside. What more could you want!

Nice choice of freshly made sandwiches, soups and pastries / cakes. It can get very busy at lunch time as it's a popular place for lunch for everyone in the village. It's also only a out 10 seconds away from the duck pond and 5 mins from the dam so it's nice to get a takeaway lunch on a nice hot day and sit on one of the benches nearby. Theres plenty of seating indoors and benches outside too. They also have a decent range of breads and cheeses etc. Highly recommended.

Natt very kindly made a gorgeous Christening cake for our daughter. It was lemon sponge with cream and fresh raspberries and was absolutely delicious. They were also incredibly kind and helpful; the Christening was on the hottest day of the year so far and they allowed me to collect on a Sunday so it could be stored in the fridge overnight, and they also cut out the stencils for the cake after an etsy seller let me down. Everyone has been telling me how lovely and tasty the cake was. Definitely get your celebratuin cakes from here!

Monia's made my 70th birthday cake, we went in the cafe and we looked at all the examples, she was very helpful as I was not entirely sure what I wanted. It was fantastic, lovely decoration with two lovely light sponges filled with fresh cream. It went down a treat at my party. Highly recommend, amazing cake making skills.

I have ordered a cake on Monia’s cakes website and it is absolutely amazing. The order was easy to place, there was a great selection of cakes and customisation options. The cake was delicious and service quick. I would highly recommend Monia’s cakes for anyone who wants to have a beautiful and delicious cake for any occasion.

Yesterday I've tasted their cakes for the first time. Indeed the forest moss cake is absolutely delicious 😋 the flavours of mascarpone cream, I assume, jam and spinach sponge (by the way, you won't taste the spinach, in case you were wondering 😅) go so well together. A true masterpiece.

Made us a last minute, emergency golden anniversary cake. It looked amazing and tasted delicious and they made it in about 6 hours! Will definitely head here for celebration cakes in the future. I haven’t given a score for atmosphere as it was a take- out cake).

Stopped for an iced coffee and cup of tea with my wife. Lovely attentive service and good price. Will call again. Enjoying the drinks on a sunny day on the pavement seating area made the experience.

I purchased a box of waterfields luxury mince pies, on review and considering the price at just under £5 a box I have to say they are very poor. The pastry is far too thick and not robust, very little filling and when you see the ingredients on the box they sound amazing, but these mince pies match the old saying that looks can be deceiving. Very Poor.

I have sent my daughter - 9 y.o. to get a sausage roll from this venue on 09/03/19. She came back with large sausage roll and £1 short of change. I have attended the venue in about 30 minutes and asked the manager to look into it. I know it is £1 only however it gets me when children are getting fibbed and robbed off their pocket money. I did not get an apology, I was informed that they needed to check the till at the end of the day and then inform me. Of course nobody called me at the end. I would not recommend this venue, it is not cheap and service is bad. I would certainly recommend to look into installing video camera in that shop to prevent further stealing.

Taste is obviously very personal and so this is the opinion of just one individual. Other reviews differ but my experience is that the food was awful. I took just one bite of the sausage roll and had to through it away, tasteless and of dubious consistency. The steak pie was barely warm and of little flavour.

So the shop has just opened and when I got servers the girl brushes her hair away from her face and proceeded to pick up my goods!!! I spent £10.65 on food that's now gone in the bin because it's contaminated as her hand touched her hair!!!!!!! I wonldnt go here again. Very poor service and completely unacceptable.

Never open till 5 I’ve been several times at 4:15 and it’s clearly already been shut for a while as there are no staff inside and the counters are completely empty . Please change the times to the correct opening hours and the staff are rude also, don’t think that shop has ever seen a smile which is disappointing as it makes it feel like you want to avoid it, despite the food being good.

Awful, threw it in the bin. Go to greggs instead
