We had lunch here yesterday. The food was delicious. The American breakfast was cooked to perfection, would recommend if you want a mixture of savoury and sweet. Friend had the stacked breakfast bap and absolutely loved it. Such a lovely team that work here and the atmosphere was great.

Absolutely amazing bakery! We chose white lace bakery to make our wedding cake and we couldn’t have been happier with our cake. From our first communication with Lindsay to cake tasting and the absolutely beautiful cake on our big day nothing was too much trouble, even when we had to take our 14 month old to the cake tasting with us! The staff are fantastic, helpful and always smiling. Thankyou so much Lindsay you are all amazing at what you do!

We had Morning Tea, which is a full breakfast in afternoon tea style. The food was excellent, and was clearly all made fresh. It is presented on a 2-tier tray with the bottom tier being the cooked breakfast part, and the top being the continental side of things. The cooked items were ham and egg on a muffin, pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, sausage on a brioche bun and toast with feta, avocado and peppers. Quality was fantastic, and all was the perfect temperature. The top tier was a range of pastries, fruit, a savoury scone and granola with yoghurt. Service was as you'd expect with a range of different items being prepared, but the food came in good time. Service was very friendly and the overall experience was very nice. All in all I can't find fault with anything during our visit.

We came on Monday as a treat for my daughter’s birthday for the Morning Tea. Lovely little shop with nice decor. My daughter isn’t big on cakes so we went for the breakfast option and we were not disappointed at all. Food was lovely xx

In my best Craig Revel-Horwood! A- maze- ing darlin!! My wife has had us stop at this bakery a few times for take away cakes which have always been impressive each time. This occasion we went in to try their lunch time menu, a brunch, however we caught them in their crossover period so we had their breakfast menu instead. We both ordered pancakes, and I particularly wasn't expecting much, no disrespect, but perhaps very thin pancakes. Not that that would have been a problem for me, but what came blew me away, and my stomach! The pancakes were so thick, covered in melted chocolate, decorated nicely and extremely filling! Very reasonably priced, but do remember that all foods are cooked fresh and to order. Do expect up to 30 minutes wait, even if it is quiet, but rest assure with a coffee and chat in between, this time flies. Please do pay this smaller business a visit and give them your support 🙂

Had a specific idea of what I wanted for my grandads 70th birthday cake since he loves sweets. From start to finish, WLB have been so helpful, friendly and listened to everything. Not only did the cake taste amazing, everyone loved the fun design and my grandad was absolutely made up. They completely exceeded my expectations and I still can’t get over how great it looked & tasted! Staff were always friendly throughout the process and gave clear, helpful instructions how to store and get home from town. Thank you so much ☺️🙏🏼

Looks like a lovely place. So on a nice sunny day I went in to order tea and scone. And waited. And waited. Perhaps there was only one person working this Sunday 12.30ish. So I ordered. The young lass was as expected - a minimum of politeness. Take a seat outside, looking forward to a lazy snack. In a timely fashion she brought out the tray of cherry scone, clotted cream, rock hard mini packet of butter and a cup of tea... with a tea bag in the cup still. They could not even be arsed to make a real pot of tea. So, I poured in the provided glass jug of watery milk, removed that satanic thing from my cup and stirred. It was a good job my throat was as parched as an El Alamein trooper at noon, or that 'tea' would have been the end. Suffice to say it wet the sides, but that was all. On to the scone. Nice. Or rather, as a previous reviewer has stated, the mere attempt to butter said scone with the concrete butter destroyed the scone. Alas, the crumbs were eaten - given my ravenous state, naturally. So now I give this review in all sincerity and forewarn others.

I had a great experience during my visit! The atmosphere was very nice and comfortable, and the food and drinks were delicious perfectly cooked and full of flavour. I want to say a special thank you to Olivia, who gave amazing service throughout. She was friendly, professional, and very attentive, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. We had such a wonderful experience thanks to our amazing waitress, Jade. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She anticipated our needs without us even having to ask, and made us feel so well looked after throughout the meal. Jade was knowledgeable about the menu, gave excellent recommendations, and her friendly personality added so much to the evening. It’s rare to come across service that feels both seamless and genuinely caring, but Jade delivered exactly that. She truly elevated our dining experience, and we can’t wait to come back again!

We come in Friday lunch for famous butchers block. Lovely, professional and warm service from Claudia who served us for the day. Recommendation and explanation of food choice is great. Great service definitely added points for the restaurant! Definitely comes back again when we are around next time!

Firstly, I want to say that the cocktails there are amazing. I would give it 6 stars. Strawberries are one of my favourite fruits. I can taste the difference between many sorts of strawberries. Similarly, that cocktail was a top-tier cocktail; while I drank it, it had a fresh mint smell, a pleasure to drink. Then that bread, wow, some of the places make garlic cheesy bread too oily. But my order of garlic bread was not tasty oil. Not over toasted. I'm already excited to taste steak. There is no need for the word. Real pink and juicy steak every bit of part cooked to the same level. Only that sauce wasn't my type of taste. I wouldn't need sauce for that nice steak anyway... good luck guys.

First time visit to MC on Gemini park in Warrington. We were definitely not let down by some fabulous food, professional staff and allround stunning dining experience. My sons 18th birthday lunch, we covered steak, pork tomahawk, grilled salmon and calamari. All wonderfully cooked and presented. Excellent staff service who made the lunch a pleasure to eat there. Fiona was our server this evening and we couldn't have wished for anyone better. The whole experience was just lovely. She was so friendly and happy, had a laugh with us and everything was perfect, it was as though we'd known her for years. The food was amazing and delicious as always. Thank you so much.

On a rare day with no kids me and my partner stumbled accidentally this little gem of a place. I must say we were not disappointed! The food was lovely and service was good. Such a lovely chilled little place and the portion sizes were just perfect. For the price of a 3 course meal also I honestly have to say we will return to the explore a bit more than the lunchtime menu.

This was our first visit for food today and it was excellent. The customer service is outstanding and Stacey, Georgina and the team are fantastic and go above and beyond to make your visit a happy one. The food is all freshly cooked for you and it shows. Excellent quality meals and will definitely leave you full. If you're really hungry, try the bell tower burger, it's huge. The pie and chips was beautiful (the chunky chips are amazing). This is somewhere we will definitely be visiting again and hopefully we'll get to try the Sunday roast next time. Definitely a 10/10 from us.

That was the best roast dinner I’ve eaten in a long time! I would definitely recommend I had both a mix of beef and turkey and it was cooked perfectly and the flavours were amazing too

My wife Denise and I booked in for lunch on Sunday 21st September. Without a doubt, we had THE best roast dinner we have had in a long time! Lovely tender beef, crispy roasties, plenty of tasty veg, a perfect yorkie and those glazed carrots and gravy are to die for! The staff were so lovely, welcoming and attentive, we couldn't have wished for better service. Everything was absolutely spot on! 👌

Breakfast offer. We had two full English, great value. It is so nice to have plum Tomato's and a choice of fried bread on a breakfast as standard without it costing more. Our breakfasts were fresh, piping hot and delicious. We usually go elsewhere for breakfast but will 100% be back.

A bit crowded during boxing day but there are lots of seating inside so it can accommodate people. I just love the ambiance and arrangement of seats inside, the decor was lovely and cozy. The staff were friendly and approachable, though their coffee counter was just filthy and messy, needed some tidying up. Food and coffee was affordable but hot choco wasn't as good, coffee was okay thus just a 3 star for me.

The customer service is amazing the staff are always down for a wee natter even if it's small talk they got it town to a T, as for their hot drinks and snacks you know what you are getting is made back there is fresh and the little details they add makes the whole thing just that more better (yeah "more better" is a thing now)

i had such a lovely afternoon here! i chose this spot to do some work and i was happy to find a colouring sheet to encourage me to take some breaks as well! there were SO many syrup options to choose from - i chose cherry for my iced latte and it was great! i followed this with a biscoff cronut, which was amazing! the staff ensured i knew which products contained no dairy as i am lactose intolerant and they were very patient with me as i decided what to eat. the friendliness and enthusiasm of the staff were definitely the reason for my afternoon being so wonderful💘 they were singing away and very attentive to my needs, even asking if i needed a water refill for my journey home. all the staff were wonderful, though i only caught the names of ang and sandra - both of whom helped me out choosing the cronut! thank you, i’d drive down the m6 just to visit here again!🫶🏻

Excellent coffee (a chocolaty Colombian style roast), great staff and a cracking location in the corner of Golden Square. Lots of indoor seats and half a dozen tables in relative seclusion outside. My wife tells me the cakes are lovely too. Highly recommended. *Returning five years later, the coffee is still as excellent, so are the muffins, and the service. It's 30+C outside and we are air conditioned inside!

My absolute favourite place in Warrington. Definitely the best breakfasts in town. Their blueberry and cream pancakes are a dream come true. The atmosphere is great, I like the worn chairs and all the random 'charityshopy' pictures on the walls. The service is also fab, always polite, always on time, always correct. They have a vegetarian and a gluten free menu as well. Also are dog and kids friendly. They couldn't really do better. I would highly recommend for everyone to try this place.

I have only recently been diagnosed with celiac disease, which means I required a gluten free meal. Let’s just say I had a wonderful experience, the staff need a supervisor to take on an allergy order which really put me at ease on how well they deal with allergies. The food was amazing, I ordered a lounge burger, but they also have a wide range of options on their gluten free menu. Definitely will be coming again. The staff are also really friendly and the restaurant is also a convenience after a long day of shopping.

Great place, dog friendly, good for coffee, brunch, lunch. Nice atmosphere, cosy seating. The food was good overall the panini probably better than the lounge eggs. Only the sherbet lemonade was disappointing (not strong flavour at all).

Whenever I’m in the mood for a burger, this place is my first choice and it never disappoints. Honestly, any burger on the menu is great, but my absolute favorite is the chicken, bacon, and avocado burger. It’s always perfectly made! The service is always friendly and fast, and they really make you feel welcome. One time, they even let us bring our furry friend along, she stayed in her carrier while we enjoyed dinner, which meant a lot. That kind of kindness makes a difference. :)

Came here as a family meal for 10 of us a little while ago, some with allergies/ dietary restrictions. The staff were lovely and accommodating, the food is amazing and they have a really good choice to help everyone be able to pick something. We have since returned here several times as it's our new favourite local "tea out" place!

Had such a lovely experience today at Sextons. Our waitress went above and beyond with both service and friendliness. When my husband couldn’t decide which of the soups to have and left it to the chef to decide we ended up with a bowl of both! (equally delicious though chicken and chorizo won my vote). My ploughman’s was superb as was the coffee and cakes. All the staff were incredibly friendly. We will probably stay in Lymm an extra day to sample the ice cream too. Thank you! A lovely afternoon all round.

The lovely place in Lymm near the canal. I had some breakfast and coffee with my wife. The service is good and all the people there smile. What a great morning. Highly recommend having a walk through the footpath near the canal after breakfast.

Had to update my review of sextons... first time I went (pics) great service and great food and great experience However came a 2nd time May bank holiday weekend and unfortunately experience was rubbish... waitress forgot to write down my order, on the second occasion after this got the order wrong, our drinks arrived (coffees) stone cold and although this isn't the owners fault annoying dogs trying to eat off your tables etc First experience very good second experience very bad

What a fab cafe, shop and bakery! We stumbled across this when we stopped to visit another cafe in the area (sssh don’t tell them 😂) as we were mooching down by the river before breakfast. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We were buying some items from the shop first and they said we could just add those to our total bill if we wanted to eat breakfast first. Food was delicious. Drinks were great. Brilliant portions of both! Will definitely be adding this to my favourite places to stop again! ❤️

Visited today, absolutely lovely Cafe and Bakery. All staff were so attentive and lovely. Really go above and beyond for the customers. Drinks and Cakes were also very good. In such a cute area and also dogs are allowed inside. What more could you want!

Nice choice of freshly made sandwiches, soups and pastries / cakes. It can get very busy at lunch time as it's a popular place for lunch for everyone in the village. It's also only a out 10 seconds away from the duck pond and 5 mins from the dam so it's nice to get a takeaway lunch on a nice hot day and sit on one of the benches nearby. Theres plenty of seating indoors and benches outside too. They also have a decent range of breads and cheeses etc. Highly recommended.

Such a great place to call in for a Pie & a Pint if you’re walking the Trans Pennine Trail. The choice of cask ales is pretty incredible for such a remote pub. Well worth visiting.

Fantastic location on the bank of the Mersey. Excellent service and a great range of draught beers kept in great condition. Happy to sit outside with our puppy. I don't want to recommend this fantastic pub for totally selfish reasons.

Beautiful spot for a bike ride when the sun shines, friendly vibe ,great views of the mersey estuary and on fridays at 5pm a choice of food from elsewhere. It was Greek for me , thoroughly enjoyed it and thinking about it the first time I've had sufolaki not on holiday. Oh and the beer was spot on too 👌

Just a Fantastic place for views,food and good drinks, this place is an all rounder it has no faults

There was plenty of parking available – although Pay and Display – but there was also a free car park just a hundred metres from the chippy. It's part of the disused Padgate train station building. The shop was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the young staff were friendly and polite. One member of staff was the son of the owner, which is always a pleasant sight – another generation continuing the tradition. The food was excellent. Although cod and chips or haddock and chips weren’t visibly on the menu, hake was, and pollock was available that day too, so I tried both. The hake was exceptional – fresh, white, subtle in flavour, and served in a light, crispy batter. The pollock was also delicious, though I’d encourage the staff to keep an eye on the thickness of the batter on the pollock, as it was a little damp and thick on the inside, though still tasty. The chips were light, crispy, and thick – if just a little too firm in some – but delicious all the same. The pea fritters were subtle in flavour, with a light, crispy batter and a good size. The in-house tartare sauce was very tasty – thick, with plenty of flavour, and not overpowered by the mayonnaise. I love a lovely pie, and their in-house meat and potato pie was something special – I’ll be buying a few more next time I’m passing. Should have read the reviews before I ordered. A steak and kidney pudding meal deal £10+. The smallest portion of chips I have ever seen. I counted them 19 chips. 19. Vastly overpriced for what you get. 19 chips, a small pudding, small tub of gravy and a bottle or water. Can't see where the "deal" is in this. The 19 chips were nice so credit where it's due. Reply to owners comment. Please see attached photos showing that you are the one not being honest. Clearly not the price you are saying. And please point me to where it says small or cone amount of chips? Maybe check your facts before implying that a customer is lying. Again, nice chips

First time ordering at Plaice Station so got a Munchie Box to try a little bit of everything. Everything tasted amazing, light and crispy, the pea fritter was gorgeous, chips thick and perfectly cooked as well. The sauces are next level, homemade curry and tartar are absolutely delicious, just the perfect level of spice, full of flavour and thick. Service was great as well, the communication within the team made everything run smooth and fast, which is great considering all the food is made fresh to order. The team were all in great mood and very polite. Overall, this place ticks all the boxes!

Ordered for the first time today after being recommended by a few people. Had a bit of a mix up ordering online with peanuts on the burger, however staff were very quick to rectify this and it was dealt with quickly and in a friendly manner. Food was lovely. Will return.

I kindly asked for some napkins to go with the hot chocolate I bought for my 72 yo mother who was having a hypoglycaemia and the lady with the big glasses, very rude, screamed at me for asking for napkins. Same as her colleague. Rude staff won’t be going back there.

My experience at Poundbakery (twice now) has been very disappointing. This is the second time the staff at the counter have made a mistake when calculating the total. When I pointed it out, they ignored me until I showed them the correct amount using a calculator. Only then did they correct it – but what’s worse, they didn’t even bother to apologise. The staff are extremely rude, unprofessional, and seem to lack basic manners. They don’t know how to treat people with respect. Very poor customer service – I won’t be returning.

This place serves as a convenient spot to grab some quick snacks to satisfy hunger pangs. While the quality may not be exceptional, as expected with budget options, the food adequately fulfills its role in providing a satisfying snack to fill the belly.

When you can go to a bakery and buy the fleshly cooked savoury cake for qid, with friendly staff then you got my vote. Especially due to the cost of living these days. I'll be revisiting the pound bakery soon. A clean and tidy area inside and outside the premises.

This store may not be the best quality on the high street but it very good value for money. If you are out and about you can get an excellent selection of quick hot and cold snacks. They also have a good selection of cakes to pick from. So if your looking for a selection of small cakes for a kids party or just something to take to the office, you will find something.

I understand that Greggs is primarily a fast food shop and doesn’t usually provide in-depth customer service, but the experience we had at this particular Greggs was disappointing. The staff member, a lady with glasses, did not show even basic respect to us as customers.

They sell you coffee and then you ask for sugar and they tell you they've run out. Well try telling people you have no sugar before selling them coffee. Also on another visit the que was out of the door coz only 3 staff, 1 serving,1 baking,1 doing home orders. Since they started doing home orders the instore service has declined. Aswel I opened my app to pay inshore twice now n it made me update app n both times I couldn't pay waiting for it as it took so long and I'd tryed opening the app in que at door. Like 7people got served whilst my update was going n then it was like eek I'm being served n av to pay another way now. Try adding update later option grr.

Terrible food . Driest pizza iv ever had from a Greg's. Veg curry pasties are disgusting. Empty shelves not much choice to pick from . Drive past go to another Greg's or go the aldi .

Food is very much like any Greggs with the caveat that you probably won't get any. The service here is exceptionally slow, to the point the qué is out the door and people are walking away. (I've had to walk myself several times, waiting for 15 mins on a 30 min lunch break isn't ideal, so I go to Costa across the road where the service time is much better) It doesn't matter what time you visit, the shelves (minus sweet things) are always empty, if you visit between 11-3 you're extremely unlikely to get the item you want, or you'll just have that one very sorry looking slice of cold pizza and a questionable steak bake. I appreciate these are the busier hours but this isn't a problem unique to the lunchtime rush. Smaller Greg's stores seem to have much faster service and better stock. Overall nothing to rave about but if you're in a rush please eat somewhere else.

Lovely shop and staff. Only complaint would be under done bacon, almost raw. Not the usual crispy bacon described on the website. Will purchase again from Greggs but not this store unfortunately, will stay with the Westbrook store.

Piece of French Heaven in heart of Warrington that never disappoints. Have been coming here with my other half - it’s mad how good the croissants are. The breakfasts are light and tasty. Coffee fresh and balanced. Lunch, is where the stuff is happening: tasty, giving you something truly French. And the couple running the place know their stuff and are truly kind souls. My favourite piece of France in UK.

Authentic French Cousin! Must Reserve Your Sunday Branch on Friday latest! I missed that opportunity but seen few tables feeled with prebooked Customers in anticipation of they French Brunch 😁 Enjoyed my Coffee and Cakes though. Free parking on Sundays helps. An authentic French café which makes a very pleasant change from the chain coffee shops. It’s a good idea to read the info on their web pages/social media (also displayed in their window) to understand how they do things. Don’t come here if you’re in a hurry & want a pre-packaged sandwich right now! But do come here if you’re prepared to wait a few minutes while everything is freshly made for you. If you want to practise your French, you absolutely can. There are books here and the staff will happily take your order in either French or English You pay when you order your food, so if you’d like to leave a tip after you’ve eaten, bring some coins/cash with you

On a fleeting visit to Warrington I came across this cafe. I had a fantastic meal, the owners were extremely friendly and helpful when selecting what to eat. The food is clearly very fresh and in many cases home made. Everything was delicious. I could not recommend more.

Such a cute boulangerie! The croissant was the best I've ever had and I will definitely be back for pastries and cake! The owners genuinely care about authentic french cuisine and were so nice and welcoming! I definitely recommend this for a nice brunch or breakfast!

The most disgusting costa coffee there Is person serving sat down didn't make our order and eat a meal in front of me I will ring calling costa to complain will never be using this dirty place ever again toiler beyond 😖

We order our coffees through drive in. It’s really sad because the people making coffee have absolute no idea how to make coffee. Milk was burnt, no froth, just really disgusting drink. And there is card saying something like “no one makes coffee like we do here at costa” so I really hope so that’s the truth because I wouldn’t come back.

This store has declined massively over the last year or so. With the exceptions of one or two staff the customer service is crap, the bread is nearly always stale if you are one of the first customers of the day and the cleanliness is not what I would expect from an eating establishment.

Came in at 6 am only one person in.i asked to drink and eat in the lady behind the counter put my drink in a cardboard cup.i asked if I could have it in a porcelain cup which were right in front of her and her reply was I can’t be goin back and forth I’m on my own.she wasn’t busy at all and id just spent 15 pounds in there not good service at all

Was just waiting for around 10 minutes not even an acknowledgment I was even there. I think there needs to be more mature people employed or running as it seemed to be all young adults who do not care for their job nor the customer.

simply disgusting place. The floor hadn't been cleaned for days. Dirty, sticky tables and chairs. The toilet was a real shock! Urine covered the whole floor, the stench was incredible! no toilet paper, no soap, hand dryer didn't work. The staff was standing and talking all the time, laughing happily. One of the girls kept rubbing her nose and then handing people cakes without washing her hands! they should close this place down!

It was about a quarter full and the friendly staff were too busy to clear and clean tables.

When I ended up being in Warrington WAY longer than I planned( a month!)while getting my daughter set up there as an international dance student… THIS place was my saving grace! The service was quick, friendly, and conscientious of my order… The coffee was always delicious and spot on… and the atmosphere and location was exactly what I needed! Sat outside enjoying the market vibe, a nice cake and decent coffee. They can make a mocha that has a good shot of coffee rather than the sweet Cadbury milk chocolate mix you get at many cafes.

All of the staff are so lovely and friendly and the shop has such a welcoming atmosphere :) I have been in a few times now for matcha/iced coffee’s and hot coffee’s. The Drinks are always amazing, and the food is gorgeous! Thankyou so much!

I have always loved this place, such a hidden gem with fantastic food and amazing history. There pastry isn't greasy and it is so crispy and tasty, my family have also loved this place since 60s which I find incredible. The menu is so adventurous and has something for everyone!!! The queues can get very long but I can see why as they are so popular so you'd have to get there early.

I finally got to visit, usually my partner brings it home from work. The selection is huge and it all looks amazing! The prices are really reasonable and the staff are lovely. I can be really fussy when it comes to baked goods, but the scones are absolutely delicious! There was a que but i moved quick enough

The nicest pie shop in Warrington, with friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend the all in one pie. Great selection of pies and sweet treats, all worth queueing for and good value for money. Parking in the area can be bit tricky at times, due how busy the pie shop gets and it's popularity amongst locals. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Absolutely gorgeous cakes and baked goodies. We've started taking a fortnightly trip down of a weekend morning. Queues always out the door but it's worth the wait and everyone in the queue knows it

Went for the first time today, the lady who served us was lovely, my son wanted sprinkles on his fruitless trifle and she was more than happy to help even though they was busy she was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Also the pies and cakes we had was all amazing and very well priced.

I live local and have been going to Tomlins regularly for the last 2 years. Everything is excellent and the prices are good too. The staff are friendly. I'd recommend going early as it gets busy at lunch time and a lot of the cakes sell out.

This is a nice little venue but there isn’t much seating downstairs so I do advice to ring up in advance to book a table. When we arrived the service was slow and took 5/10 minutes to be served at the bar for food and drinks because there was only one person at the bar serving. The food was amazing and the cocktails was very nice , just gutted they ran out of products to make me a zombie which isn’t a good time to run out at 5:30pm on a Saturday night knowing they have the rest of the night ahead of them. We was the only people eating at the time and not once did anyone come over and ask how we was or how the food was which should be a must in the hospitality industry. If in my eyes they didn’t happen it would have been 5*

First time ordering and wow like yeah long wait but I love a wait especially with the quality of food . Ordered 2 salt and pepper noodles loaded fries and onion rings ! Amazing will be returning . People complain on price but I would rather spend more for quality than less for bad food ! This was amazing the taste the quantity the value ❤️❤️

Had a very good impromptu night at Dead Eyes watching an excellent oasis tribute (toast). The bar was great, with a smaller one upstairs for the gig. The event was well run and the staff very accommodating. Will return!

Since moving food preparation to Bluebell I've been waiting for my favourite ribs to be back on menu.Last night I ordered those and my husband's favourite Bourbon burger. We were not disappointed. Came here this morning as we were looking for a little cafe that did breakfasts, and we were not disappointed! The staff were lovely and friendly and the breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I have had for a long time. The price was brilliant also for the quality of food we had!

I've visited Mamars a few times and have always been impressed by the excellent food and the attentive, friendly service. The environment is cozy, perfect for leisurely meals. Unfortunately, there are no plug sockets available for charging devices, or else it would be an ideal spot for occasional remote work. During a recent visit with my two-year-old daughter, I appreciated the kitchen accommodating my request for a smaller portion of scrambled eggs on toast for her. However, I was surprised to be charged the full adult price of £5.50 for a half portion (one slice of bread and one egg) without being informed of this at the time of ordering. Additionally, a very small portion of milk was priced at £1.50. While I enjoy Mamars and its offerings, this pricing structure makes it challenging for families with young children who may not need full portions. Particularly as there are equally nice alternatives nearby where children’s options are offered as standard. As much as we love the place, it will be a while before we can consider visiting again.

Staff all pleasant. One of us had cheese board which went down well. Other had toasted fruit bread. Slices were on the thick side - would have preferred thinner slices. Paper menus a bit tatty - would benefit from being laminated. Couldn't see much in the way of cakes. Service could have been quicker.

Her indoors and I visited Mamars for a sharing platter plus drinks yesterday evening. It was great! Value for money, presentation , standard of the food was excellent. The chap who presented this to us was brilliant, so knowledgeable and attentive. Definitely give them a try.

I am a ten year old boy and visited Mamars with my Mum and my Dad on Saturday at lunch. It was the first time and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. We were given the menu and we took a seat outside. When the waiter came they gave us good drinks and food recommendations. We had the charcuterie board carefully prepared even with chorizo made into the pattern of a rose and was served quickly to us. They explained what everything was on the plate and every bit about it was immaculate. The sourdough and oil was also excellent. All the staff were so polite and kind. Plenty of seating and lovely atmosphere with a handy bike rack just outside. Lots of choice on the menu and will definitely go back. I would recommend visiting Mamars.

Had been meaning to try this place for a while. All food cooked fresh and lots of baked goods and bread made in house. Unfortunately they didn't have any soup or specials given it was a bank holiday but very friendly staff, good coffee, decent portion sizes and had games to keep the kids occupied

First time trying but Never Again, my breakfast turned up without any bacon so proceed to ring them it took an argument to ask for a replacement or my money back as the main part of a brekky is definitely the bacon the kind lady who was new on the phone had to call me back and the manager said they can deliver the bacon or refund you for the bacon, I had to argue for my money back and then had to pay there delivery fee all for them to get it all wrong also the hash brown looked soggy the beans looked dry and the sausages looked like was 2 different ones. It's safe to say I have gone else where and they are even cheaper and I'll get what I asked for this time! Overall poor management!

About 2 years ago used to use it all the time was an excellent cafe... been in today, order wrong 3 times... said its 100% right now. Drive off, brown sauce on (allergic to brown sauce) 3 hash browns missing. And 1 of the 7 butty i ordered missing.... allot of people in the shop getting wrong orders... safe to say i won't be going back 👍 lost a loyal customer today!

We ordered our wedding cake from Thelwall bakehouse. It turned out even better than we imagined the look of the cake was amazing and so were all the flavours as we had a different flavour for each tier. All the guests commented on how great the cake looked and tasted. We will definitely be ordering from Thelwall bakehouse again.

I’ve had cupcakes twice from thelwall bake house and they have been fabulous both times! Last time I had some bespoke ones made linked to my friends fave book series and she loved them!highly recommend!

This is the second time we have used Thelwall Bakehouse. The first was our wedding cake and the second time Geraldine did not disappoint with my sons 10th birthday cake. Back in March I ordered my sisters birthday cake from Lauren and it was honestly the best birthday cake anyone in our family had ever had! When it came to our wedding anniversary during lockdown it was hard to know what to do to make it special. Then I remembered Lauren's cakes! I ordered a mixed box of treats with some kinder cupcakes too, and they were incredible! I will only use Lauren now for our future cakes!! I love that she has a 5* hygiene rating and her contactless delivery was perfect! Thankyou!!

My future daughter-in-law, who is currently isolating in Halifax with her parents sent us a lovely surprise from Cakes by Lauren. Had an amazing experience at the cocktail bar inside Warrington Market! I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and honestly, it was one of the best I’ve ever had—fresh, fruity, and just the right amount of kick. The bar itself has a great vibe, really friendly staff, and it's such a nice environment to enjoy a cocktail without worrying about a bar environment. If you're in the area and fancy a proper drink, this place is 100% worth a visit. Can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu!

My friends bought me a moon and muffin cake for my 30th birthday and it was exactly what I wanted. The colours were perfect pink and sea foam green. It was biscoff flavour, which was gorgeous. This cake had THE BEST frosting I have ever tasted in my life!!! It was so creamy and fluffy. Would definitely order another cake for myself. I was sent pictures of my cake on instagram too. I needed a wicked themed cookie for my daughter for her birthday as she doesn’t like cake. This cookie turned out so perfect, I was ecstatic and so was Paige. He plays basketball for Cheshire so I wanted a basketball theme, she did explain that you didn’t have the colour orange which is the only negative comment I shall mention, she did say it’s an autumn winter colour, maybe consider using this all year round. Decided to treat myself to a gigantic cookie. Went with absolutely no plan as to what colours I wanted, what I wanted it to say or anything. Despite the insanely hot weather, both of the ladies working were upbeat, friendly and made up a fun, Rugrats-esque design for my cookie. Unfortunately I didn't catch either of their names, but they were both great :)

I recently tried the Orange Chocolate Pastry from Cake box and it was absolutely delightful! 🍊🍫 The perfect balance of zesty orange and rich chocolate made every bite heavenly. I asked him about cake but she didn’t talk with me. She just moved head yes or no. I boy some cup cake and requested to can you please put the cup cake in box. I can pay extra. She said no. She talk with me very rowdily. Whenever i go Manchester Bradford Blackburn. I suggest cake box but this time i really upset because of this lady. I request the manager to inform and train the staff when they hire them on how to talk to and treat customers. Thank you.

Sold me a cold pie for almost £4. Had no hot ones so I asked if it could be warmed up, was told they could but they would have to charge me for it. A lovely visit. Seen your reply Chris thanks. Maybe ask staff to tell the customers they are cold before they've paid for them.

Went on Saturday and bought a pasty and a pie and when we got home (5 minute drive if that) we realised they were stone cold. We also got a childrens box but we had to pack it up ourselves and were rushed doing it. Very disappointing, wouldn't visit again.

Spent £5.90 on a steak slice and a cheese and onion slice. Both were tepid at best, and the minimal filling..."steak" was literally 3 small pieces of meat in not very much gravy, and the cheese and onion wasn't much better. Really disappointed as I wanted to buy local, and didn't want to go to Sainsburys or Co-op etc. Based on this, those would be far better options for less money. Good service, though!

Ordered 3 Jacket potato's with tuna. About 30mins ago. They came all burnt but rock hard in the middle. Tuna was like water. Runny. Not nice to look at or try and eat. Will never order again. For what was charged and delivery.

I LOVE THIS SHOP..!! Over the road from work, counter always well stocked, great selection to pick from, and the staff are always happy to make you something if there's a sandwich you want that isn't there. The staff are fab, all REALLY helpful, and the Manageress (who's name escapes me...) is lovely. Love them all, keep up the good work..!! :-)

Wow, wow, wow! Step 1 order "food" step 2 wait nearly a hour for the delivery driver to then take a hot meal to the car and sit there for a further ten minutes until your cooked food is now cold food. Also, what on earth happened to the donuts? Has there been a sugar shortage? Those things are nothing more than jam butties in the shape of a hockey puck. Last but by no means least is my autistic son, who had to endure this pathetic attempt at a sandwich and pretend that it was still great to make us feel better. Will swerve these from now on.

Stopped by Greggs at about 11.30am before the lunch rush and was horrified by the attitude and snide comments of the lady behind the till. My colleague and myself have never been so appalled by a store assistant. I will not be returning to the birchwood shopping centre branch of greggs again.

Greggs Leigh town, always friendly staff to serve you hot and cold savouries. And as you walk out of the Bus Station like did as I came to visit Leigh town via bus or by walking past the Bus Station, its virtually opposite. Just few steps away for a good deal munch.

Why is there never any magic bags. On the app toogoodtogo you can get magic bags everyday from any Greg's but this Greg's in birchwood never have them always says nothing today. So your telling me there's no waste . The staff are well taking it all home instead of listing and selling it on the app called too good to go.

Staff do not like serving the public when they can help it. If they can be messing around filling shelves or moving pasties. They seem to watch to see how much work their colleagues are doing! If you are in a hurry you shouldnt visit this shop!
