The thing that stands out on Rovinj panorama is this Church with its tall bell tower. It's perched on top of the hill of Rovinj old town peninsula. The church is nice but nothing special. The tower visit is worthwhile experience. Going up the stairs is an adventure which keeps the old structure untouched. The panoramic views from the top of the tower are breathtaking.

Cool view at the top of the tower, but it costs 4 euros per person(cash only) and the stairs are all worn out and very steep, keep that in mind that you need to have good condition and not be afraid of heights.

A very large church, elaborate interiors more reminiscent of Cathedral type spaces. Colorful and detailed in a way that draws the eye in many different directions. I took time to explore the interior before paying a small extra charge to climb to 60 metre tower. Soon rediscovered my fear of heights as I made my way up the narrow steps, every one of which you can see through to the flight below. The climb is worth it for the views from the top in all directions. Expect it to be busy, and to have to wait in turn for your perfect photo opportunity. Also be prepared to wait on the steps as others pass up and down.

Expensive, lot of animals are died unfortinatly, also you don’t have time to see everthing since the train go fast and you don’t have enugh time to be on all attractions. But in general it’s nice.

Place has huge potential, but a vision and investment is needed to bring this place to a higher level. My bad experience is with the tour guide (Croatian tour) who was borderline rude to guests, and obviously was not happy about being there. His explanations during the train ride made no sense in several occasions.... Although the tour includes a waling part I gave up after the train ride was finished.

Awesome place, but guided tour ended at 2:10PM and next boat that takes back visitors is at 4PM even that empty are leaving the island continuously. It is to keep people in and rip them off.

Amazing place. Really nice tour with the guide. E-car rent was a bit pricy, but we decided to rent it anyways because we wanted to see the whole island. It was really worth it, the island is beautiful and well maintained.

Heaven 😇 Beautiful park forest by the sea. Natural rocky beaches mostly, few pebbles beaches and many little bays. For FKK lovers as well many nice places to enjoy, just search walking by the sea. All included: walking, biking,light hiking, swimming, running, relaxing with birds wind and waves. Yoga, meditation ... Peace ✌️ Rock climbing, but only with your equipment. Not for beginners. I'm in love with this place and it's just next to the city.

I do really love this beach. Shame there's not more on offer in terms of food and facilities like shower/loo. It's otherwise beautiful. The one café only has some drinks and ham/cheese sandwich on offer and you have to pay a euro to use the loo. That's the downside.

Favourite place in Rovijn. I want to come back with a bike, but it's so nice on foot. It would be good if there were more restrooms, we didn't have one where we were swimming, it was a 15 min walk. But it's wild and natural, what we prefer.

I just love this place. From the campsite Polari to city center Rovinj it's about 4 km on foot on the gravel promenade all along the coastal line. Walk with occasional dip in the sea, finish with late luch or dinner in city center. 😍

My favorite island in Croatia but with condition you arrive on your own boat...on island is everything...nice swimming pool,nice beaches all around,2 great restaurants,coffee shops,nude beach,great hotel,ferry boat connection to Rovinj....I come to island every year....

They have changed the ferry system, it now does not work, there is no sign that you need to buy the ferry on the harbour from the random guy who you don't notice so the ferry leaves without you and its an hour till the next one. Staff are rude and good luck getting a ferry back at peak times, used to be superb now spoilt by the ferries, I would not recommend anymore

Nice hotel, no central beach but many many places to lie down and access the water, no cars, semi public (only accessible by ferry, only 1 hotel), great breakfast.

130€ for a sunbed if you don’t stay at the hotel. The croque monsieur is a poor ham and cheese toast. Not a good vibe and poor music choice. There is nicer places to hang out.

The beach is VIP, even in the free part. A sun lounger costs EUR 25, I think. The beach is pebble or concrete. The water is clear. Unfortunately, I stepped on a hedgehog. The beach can be reached on foot from the port. Anyway, worth a visit.

Beautiful, cosy, clean and very friendly organized beach, divided between three hotels... part of it is reserved for 5 star hotels... small, safe and clean bay for swimming. Also pools by side, bars... towels for hotel guests, showers on the side. Prices can be high, especially during peak season, when is also very crowded. Recommended!

Well, there are way better beaches where to go. But thats just my opinion. The beach is small and it was too crowded, it happens when theres a high season. The sea was full of jellyfishes, it wasnt a pleasant feeling if they were all over you and touching you. But they have plenty of showers, free toilet and beach. The sunbeds and umbrella was 90 euros for 2 people, like what an actual ff? I know theres lots of people who will pay for it, i did see those people. But seems like, im not a beach guy so much, i like to swim, relax a hit, have a snack, a beer, then swim again, change and leave.

We loved it. A beautiful pebble beach where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas. If you prefer natural shade, you can relax under the pine trees. Nearby, there’s a beach bar and restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat.

Lovely walkway to the beach and coastline. 5 stars for location, and the way they have set this up...bit the pricing for sun loungers is a little crazy.(see picture) Needless to say the free beach was very busy.

First time in Croatia & hotel Katarina was a fabulous place to stay with easy access to mainland by ferry (free to guests) when we wanted to explore the beautiful Rovinj by day or night. Beach & other areas never felt crowded as there are so many places round the island to sunbathe & swim. Rrception staff always super helpful. We had half board & found a great variety of food in the restaurant. The only thing which could have improved was access to tea/coffee in the evenings. Only option was via the bar (which you pay for) & a couple of evenings we still couldn't get as machine out of order or being cleaned. But overall very happy with our choice of hotel & will definitely recommend. 🙂

Lovely stay. Island in need of some tlc but it didn't detract from our overall experience. Lovely staff, good varied breakfast included in our rate and an efficient ferry service that ran on the hour to & from the town. If enjoying the island there are a few lovely bays with sunbeds and a small beach. There's also a lovely bar and restaurant at the beach. Great for relaxing and enjoying the glorious views of the bay. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay at this gorgeous location. Our first night was rather eventful as the island and harbour were battered by the worst storm in 50 years! The staff & management were diligent in their care , checking that guests & rooms were OK. It definitely feels a bit special to ride the water taxi to the island. Rooms are a bit basic but were very clean, we found the staff to be very friendly especially the 'marvelous Sonia!' The buffet style mealtimes did not disappoint, all tastes cared for. We will definitely be back.

This is our fourth visit to the Katarina, and our eighth visit to Rovinj. We fell in love with the area years ago, and the Katarina is our favourite place to stay (we have tried other properties, and apartments) but Katarina feels unspoiled and full of character. We love the privacy of the quiet island, its shady coves and sitting areas and the boat trips, and the view from the island of the old town is unparalleled. Please don't ever change or 'update' this offering - you would lose something truly special. All the staff are so helpful and kind too!

Love, love, love this place. Peaceful and beautiful. Great room with amazing views. Huge breakfast with everything you could want. Amazing staff with special shout out to Sonja at the lobby bar. Ferry works like clockwork and again with great staff. AND it is a great value. I highly recommend this.

We both had a fantastic stay at Hotel Katerina, the rooms, dining and outside areas were exceptional clean, the food choices were varied and great quality and the beach areas were fantastic. A special mention to Angeliya who was very welcoming and taught me some basic Croatian every day :) The ferries across to the port and town were prompt and fun and the shuttle service to the car park was quick and efficient. The best thing was the view back to Rovinj though, walking around this peaceful island gave you amazing views of the old town and some lovely quiet spots to sit and relax, just beautiful. Definately recommended and we will be back for sure!

What a lovely stop over. Great wine and olive oil👍 we did the tasting and bought some good stuff to bring home. As the only camper on site we got to park by the pool and enjoyed a fantastic ocean view. Super friendly family who took great care of us😊

We did the wine tasting, consisting of 5 wines and 1 olive oil. We were welcomed by the owner and her son, the wine maker. The vineyard is beautiful and the wines were lovely. Olive oil was fresh and very tasty. Prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend stopping here

My girlfriend and I visited this family run winery and had a great experience. We did the deluxe wine tour. We tried all the wines had a cheese plate, all incredible, and a tour of the facility after. The host was great and very informative. Would definitely come back in the future!!

We did the tour and tastings and it was a special event. We enjoyed local cheese, meats and olives with 6 wines and an olive oil. We really enjoyed the background on the wines, the farm and the region. We would highly recommend the experience!

We were a group of 4 Filipinos who are based and living in Italy for ages. 2 of our friends have been doing wine tasting for more times and awhile now, but me personally I have not done it in ages and for my wife it was her first time. To start off with things, the lady host have received us with open arms and was very warm with us! she had told us the story of how the business started and it was so interesting and very motivating as well! We did toured abit the farm and property and it was so breathtaking, the whole place was so magical and beautiful.

I came here with my boyfriend for a wine tasting. The service was incredible and the family business is something to really admire. I would recommend coming here 100 times. We had a wonderful time. I enjoyed hearing about the family business . Would 100% return.

Civil beach has different options. An inner beach for kids. A rocky beach for adventure and a Pebble stone beach. Further up there is a naturist beach for the people that are interested. Because it offers so much we are giving it 5 stars. Parking was easy and the general vibe was perfect! Trees over natural shade. Basically one of the best places to go.

I almost don’t want to share this, because Cuvi is such a great spot. Of all the beaches along the Golden Cape, it’s the most accessible, with clear water and plenty of space to relax on the grass or under the pine trees. There’s even a beach club for drinks, snacks, or pizza. Just bring swimming shoes, because the rocky shore makes them a must.

The beach is nice, smaller stones, some rocky parts, but if you get into the water after a few meters there is fine sand and a nice walk to the deep waters.. surrounded by pine forrest, and a nice beach bar. There is also a toilet which you pay 7 kn for one use.. there are two masage spots too.. nice for couples and a great deal of peace .. not so crowded 🙃

Beyond the madding crowds that hanker after the insta bars at sunset, Trevisol is tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood. We went for a pre-meal cocktail and wished we’d found it early in our week so we could be enjoyed the breakfast or brunch options. It was lovely to relax on the informal cushions and seating area, a perfect place to sip, chat and people watch!

OMG I fell in love with this place. In the middle of Rovinj but very quiet and laid back. It gives you a break from the hustle and bustle. Amazing coffee - definitely a speciality coffeeshop. I could sit there for hours - oh, actuallyI did 🤣😇. It’s such a lovely unique place. And the staff is super friendly too.

Awesome place! Great customer care, very helpful recommendations, splendid location and a really homey vibe. Rooms are spacious and sunny, we got one overlooking the sea and the giants of the Uljanik shipyard. Beautiful terrace hosts parties, but there’s no noise issues as people move to the nearby bars at 11pm.

My fiancé and I had a lovely stay here. This being our first time in Croatia, we wanted a friendly, clean, centralized location to explore Pula. Staff and other travelers here were super friendly and made our stay so enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place!!

Not to mention the on site bar and common areas, which ended up being a great place to meet other travelers and unwind after a day out. They offer many ammenties such as kitchen access, computer, WiFi, TV. Next time Im in Croatia I will definitely choose Riva Hostel again!

Located on the waterfront, right by a beautiful art installation that showcases classic dock machinery with colored lighting in the evening, this hostel is in within a moment's walk from the Temple of Augustus, the Arch of the Sergii, and the Pula Coliseum, as well as a lot of tasty restaurants and cool shops. The hostel has a huge and lovely open air bar that all but guarantees you'll make some new friends. Clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms, a tidy and modern community kitchen, super helpful and friendly staff, and reliable wifi are a few of the perks. I stayed here with a good friend on a recent trip to Croatia, and we loved the hostel and city so much we decided to stay three extra days. I emphatically recommend this hostel and city.

Best hostel in Pula. Awesome terrace; fully stocked bar with low prices on beer, wine, liquor, and espresso; caring and professional staff; very clean rooms and facilities; huge kitchen; and perfect location right in the center. They offer cheap airport pick up and drop off (taxi to airport is massively expensive and buse schedule is wacky).

I really loved this hostel because its close to the bus terminal plus the major beaches and sights of the town. Romano and the staff are really kind and helped me a lot when i wanted to go somewhere. They also have a well equipped kitchen where you cluld even cook. I can only recommend this hostel.

Hostel had everything you could expect. Individual lockers with their own locks, no own lock needed. Room had airconditioning and enough power sockets. Showers had running hot water. Only problem is that since the hostel common area was an outdoor terrace, it can be chilly.

Beautiful ruins nestled on top of a hill. Easy walk to access it. We got there just before 11am and were the only people there.

To access the site you need travel a couple of kilometers along a narrow gravel road. It's doable but one should be prepared for a rough ride. Views from the site are impressive. And the ruins themselves are an important part of the ancient historical landscape. The human need to feel secure found a form in fortified hilltop towns. I found it peaceful and intriguing.

Really impressive site, easy to wander round and is really well understood given the number of information boards all n4 different languages. Worth a quick half hour visit.

Even if you're not a history enthusiast it's a nice place to visit for a scenic view or picnic. It is easily accessible with parking place in Kukoletovica next to Pula - Rovinj road. From there there are signs pointing to Monkodonja which is about 1km walk uphil. For a few thousand year old structure it is in decent condition, and there are few informative boards with info panels on site. There is no much shade on top, except underneath one oak tree.

Good place to visit, I went in the brain and was the only one there...but was an amazing atmosphere!

Perfect Rovinj Getaway at Villa Valdibora :) Enjoyed my stay at Villa Valdibora! Beautiful old villa ideally situated in middle of Old Town, near the sea. Staff were fantastic – so friendly and helpful, especially Karla who was a jewel! My room was cozy and spotless. Beautiful breakfast too. Would highly recommend for wonderful Rovinj experience!

The location was great and I would have loved to leave a nice review but the quality of the room was just very low. This is a 4-star hotel and my room was 180 euros for one night! For 180 euros, you don't expect to walk into a shower with a faulty shower head, moldy caulking everywhere, black residue inside the toilet bowl, a buildup of mold on the sink faucet... you don't expect to find rusty shelves and black mold on the walls of the room. This was simply unacceptable, even for a 1-star hotel. The management begrudgingly moved us to a different room, which was better but still I cannot recommend this hotel.

Very expensive hotel which is a 3 stars and not 4. They give us 2 rooms and 15 minutes later the recepcionist told us that she has commited a mistake and she change us one of the rooms to a worst room(small and dark)They should clean more the bathroom and renew the bed linen. Breakfast was good and it has an incredible location in the center of the town.

So firstly, the location - on a beautiful picturesque street in the middle of the Old Town - it's really easy to get to (as long as you don't follow Google Maps directions which will wind you far away from it). The breakfast and lounge area are charming and cozy. As for the room - we had booked a one bedroom apartment through TripAdvisor - and while we received a one bedroom apartment, it was very different in person from the luxurious images they provided on the trip advisor website. There are several rooms in the building, all different and you never know which one you'll receive (we had room #01). The sitting area was adequate, though nothing special, the bedroom was a bit cramped - with an odd window that looked into a cramped patio/storage space. For our needs it was definitely adequate and for the price it was more than fair - though I do wish the pictures weren't so different from what they presented online. Either they had a really good photographer or for the same room category, some of the rooms are much nicer than others. Overall, you can't beat the location, the price, and the cozy feel of the hotel in general - just temper your expectations as to what room you end up with.

This hotel is in a wonderful location! The rooms are very nice and clean. When I arrived I was greeted by a young woman named Ela who was very friendly and helpful! She even offered to show me around Rovinj In her free time. She makes all of the guests feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Not sure if this hotel had street tables for drinks before now but definitely our first visit. Situated just uo from Batel bsr we had a relaxing beer / Aperol. Very lucky that there was a high class Spanish guitarist playing just up the street. About £2.40 for my large beer. Aperol Spritz about £5. Great fun reading bad reviews by numpties who complain that the narrow cobbled streets of the old town do not have cars and car psrking. I am an idiot but a genius compared to many.

The most iconic landmark in Rovinj, the Church of Saint Euphemia, the patron saint of the city who is buried in the church. The church, high on a hill overlooking the old town, was completed in 1736 and was designed in the Venetian Baroque-style. The Bell Tower closely resembles Saint Marks in Venice. There is a statue of St. Euphemia at the top. Just below the church, there is a café overlooking the sea.

The Church of St. Euphemia is without a doubt one of Rovinj’s crown jewels. Its Baroque architecture is both graceful and imposing, with a façade that proudly echoes Venetian artistry and an interior rich with detail and history. Every stone seems to carry a piece of the town’s story. Perched on a hilltop right by the sea, the setting is just as impressive as the church itself. From here, you can take in sweeping views of the Adriatic and the picturesque old town below. A visit is highly worthwhile — serene, inspiring, and a memory you’ll carry long after you leave.

The thing that stands out on Rovinj panorama is this Church with its tall bell tower. It's perched on top of the hill of Rovinj old town peninsula. A maze of old stone streets leads up to it with many interesting craft and art shops. Beware, these stones are pretty slippery even totally dry. Once up you're greeted with an elegant 18c Baroque Church with a white marble facade. During our visit there was a wedding which added to the atmosphere. Great views of Rovinj and Adriatic from up

The church is nice but nothing special. The tower visit is worthwhile experience. Going up the stairs is an adventure which keeps the old structure untouched. The panoramic views from the top of the tower are breathtaking.

The Church of St. Euphemia is Rovinj’s most iconic landmark and absolutely worth a visit! The climb through the charming Old Town is rewarded with stunning views from the top, overlooking the sea and nearby islands. Inside, the church is peaceful and beautifully preserved, with rich history and impressive architecture. A must-see for anyone visiting Rovinj!

Cool view at the top of the tower, but it costs 4 euros per person(cash only) and the stairs are all worn out and very steep, keep that in mind that you need to have good condition and not be afraid of heights.

A very large church, elaborate interiors more reminiscent of Cathedral type spaces. Colorful and detailed in a way that draws the eye in many different directions. I took time to explore the interior before paying a small extra charge to climb to 60 metre tower. Soon rediscovered my fear of heights as I made my way up the narrow steps, every one of which you can see through to the flight below. The climb is worth it for the views from the top in all directions. Expect it to be busy, and to have to wait in turn for your perfect photo opportunity. Also be prepared to wait on the steps as others pass up and down.
