This small, cozy gelateria has products worth every penny, for the memories and the flavors. I recommend the jumbo portion so you don't have to go back after five minutes. If you're lucky enough to find a spot, order a coffee and another dessert; you won't regret it. The staff is always smiling and happy to help you choose. I miss them already.

My Pistacio ice cream declared yummy by Paulicarus. Liza and Norma liked their Tira Misu. You can buy a beer but even I will not mix beer and ice cream. 2.10€ for the macchiato. 3€ for a small ice cream. 6 € for the cake.

Fabulous ice cream, literally never had something like this . Met one of the owners / brothers and had a chat on every ice cream stop at them,about twice per day :)) both Italian guys are welcoming and create a great cozy atmosphere.

This is one of the best ice cream shops we've visited, and we visit lots! Let me start by addressing the negative reviews you'll read. The cost per scoop of ice cream is €2.90, it's clearly started. simple. One scoop is huge and plenty for a normal person. If you have 3 scoops, yes it will cost nearly €9, but that's a lot of ice cream! I do agree however, that if you're buying 2 or 3 scoops there should be some discount. My advice. Buy one scoop, and if you want another, go back! The staff were really friendly. We sampled about 3 flavours each before buying our chosen one. Waffle cones (as opposed to wafer) and the flavours were fantastic. We visited every day during our stay.

Listen up! Just stopped here and had the best gelato in Rovinj! A huge selection and variety to choose from. I had the Orange and cream gelato and it was the bomb. Lovely inside garden seating area to sit and enjoy! Tony, the owner, was extremely nice and he was happy to chat with me..

Countering a previous written review: I went here because a review mentioned it was the best ice coffee. Well... It definitely wasn't. Also my friend ordered a coffee which tastes same grade as the cheap ones from work coffee machine. The ice cream in addition was also meh. Good thing is the parasol with moist.

The view is nice, ice cream is medium to ok, coffee is ok and the service was fast. Do not use the toilet! (-1 star because of toilet). The place was not crowded at the time of my visit but you have trouble finding a free table during summer.

The waiter brought the menus, we said we just wanted to have a coffee, but he left the menus and completely ignored us — no one came to serve us, so we got up and left. We've only ever been there for a few drinks (and once a Margherita pizza), and it's always been really nice. Come here for a drink and an ice cream—you won't regret it.

I went there 3 nights in a row and tried all of their flavors, it was that good! Their pistachio ice cream is the best I've ever tasted and the closest thing to what I assume heaven tastes like. We stopped at Ombra after noticing the strong Google reviews. I had pistachio and the 75% chocolate with sea salt—both were excellent, full of flavor and perfectly balanced. The others in the family chose different flavors, and every one of them was really good. You can taste the quality in every scoop. Even with a small line, service was fast. One of the best gelaterias we tried during our trip.

At this place they have really good ice cream which is clearly made of high quality ingredients giving it a rich, natural flavor. They have a decent selection, including some more unusual but delicious flavors, e.g. chocolate with salt. The service is very friendly and helpful, but they are not the fastest and the demand is high. Thus, you have to queue a couple of minutes but it's worth the wait. The ice cream is so good that we bought another round an hour later.

My wife and I shared the seafood platter for two – everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Let's talk about Porto Bello ! As the name mentions, and promises, you'll have the most beautiful view from the St Euphemia Church and in between all the boats floating peacefully at the Port. The best ice-creams in town, many different flavors and soo beautifully presented. If you are a coffee lover as I, I'll promise, they have the best coffee too ! At last but not least, all waiters are so nice and friendly that you will want to return. My special thanks to them that made me feel very welcome ! I highly recommend !

But no one ate or drank anything from the orders, so no payment was made. Disgraceful service, they were rude and the others in the building just laughed. The location is nice and the view is pretty good — but the service was really bad. The only time they were quick and friendly was when they asked to be paid in cash, clearly to avoid giving a proper receipt. Funny enough, they do have a card machine, so don’t fall for it. If everyone paid their taxes like they’re supposed to, maybe there wouldn’t be so much pressure to raise them on people who already pay a lot.

Water was fine and chilled. That's unfortunately all good I can say about my experience. After 10 minutes of explaining what flat white is and that we want one pancake. We were served overboiled and watered coffee made from old beans with taste of old washcloth. Thanks to our quick reflexes we managed to not pay for the second pancake that was already on the receipt. If not for the smile and polite service I'd be sure this was done on purpose.

Deliciously light cakes and super friendly staff! The fruit tart is light and refreshing. We also ordered a selection of cakes and biscuits to give as presents when we returned to the UK. The ones we sampled were deliciously light and tasty. Would highly recommend popping in for a sweet treat to take with you to the beach!

The best pancakes I ever had! We ordered Kinder Bueno and Frutopia. Bueno was amazing with a lot of cream and Frutopia was full of fresh fruit. Staff was most probably also the owner with nice English and great approach. If you like sweets you cannot miss this place!

We had a waffle and a crepe with biscuits and fruits and they were very tasty! Also, they sell natural and very delicious juices. Very kind waitresses. Nice tables outside with a good shadow for the summer. I would recommend this place if you want to have a nice dessert and diffident types of juice.

AMAZING vegan gluten free options, they even have a v/gf cone!! Some of the options include pistacchio, chocolate, bounty, banana chocolate, etc. Very tasty, highly reccomend. The only thing I don’t like is that they waste food, for example if you order more than one scoop they are trying to make the cone look perfect and if it looks off (in their perception) they throw the whole cone and ice creams in the trash. I don’t understand and support this.

The young gentleman serving clients in the evening of June 10, 2025, was very rude and obviously had a bad day or simply no interest to serve clients properly and had an aggressive attitude. The quality of the ice cream was mediocre - nothing special - we tried four different flavors. Price wise way too expensive (around 3 EUR per scoop) and for this amount the servings are too little. One positive aspect: they have “vegan gluten-free” cones for those who prefer this. Overall not worth it and another example of exaggerated tourist prices in Rovinj (which applies to almost every place here).

Touted as “natural gelato”, these ice creams feel like neither. Chocolate ice cream tastes and feels like cheap supermarket ice cream with no depth of flavour. Mango sorbet has virtually no discernible mango flavour, and a dreadful crystal texture. Peculiar soapy finish. The cones are cheap and tacky, rather than premium waffle cones. The owner was miserable and stand-offish, although if I were serving such a dreadful product, maybe I’d be miserable too. Save yourself the remorse and go to Ombra, literally just around the corner.

Best gelato in the city. Even more authentic than the stuff in Venice! Containers closed and covered as they should be. That's why they don't like giving free tastes. In authentic gelato, there is no try. There is only BUY.

Pekara il Fornaio is a little bakery near the apartment that has both sweet and savory treats. For breakfast the other day, I had Gibanica, a traditional Balkan pastry made with phyllo dough, cow’s milk cheese, nuts and apples. It was so good! There is also a savory version.

Great little bakery in the old town that seems to be independent, it really smells great whenever you walk past. They're cash only so be aware, but their pastries are really good with everything seeming to be made on site. Quick service and in and out very quickly with warm pastries in hand.

This time, tried the Mango (Vegan) and it did not disappoint.
