Centrally located and easy to find. Good local knowledge with tickets for buses, boats, tours etc available if required. The staff were very friendly and willing to help.
This is how I imagine professional info point. Very friendly, helpful and patient ladies who always gave me good and useful advice. Respect!
We were in urgent need of printing out tickets for Movieland/Caneva, and appreciated the information center opened at 0830 and the staff immediately helped us print them out. She was so nice and cheerful, we had an unforgettable and grateful experience.
Very helpful and professional with a lot of information and tips to enjoy your stay at Peschiera del Garda and along the lake.
Very poor information provided. Unable to advise on ferries and promoted their own tours instead. Not able to sell bus tickets even though they are the designated sales point on the bus company website. (It costs more to buy on the bus) Did not know whether you could buy tickets on the bus with a card - turns out they accept only cash.
Both the gentleman and the lady were so helpful when we realised we had missed our bus to Malcesine. The lady planned an alternative route to Garda, Bardolino & Lazise to use the day ticket we had already purchased on the Verona bus app. We're looking forward to our mystery trip 😊
Worst advice ever! They only recommend the buses to Verona or Sirmione. The buses have a random scedule. For instance, the one for Sirmione was 30 minutes late. The girl in the office was really bored.
Information provision was good. When buying tickets however you had to have cash; they would not take cards. This was annoyance given the large number of tourists they processed. There was also no atm nearby.

A very big collection of old items related to the history of the city. Entrance is free. when you go outside, climb the stairs there is amazing view from the corner
Lovely and interesting museum with a surprisingly wide range of artefacts, from models of Bronze Age pile-dwelling settlements to traditional fishing equipment, boats, military photos and vintage outboard engines. It gives a great insight into the local history and culture around Lake Garda. Check the opening times before you go to avoid disappointment, as it’s not open every day. Well worth a visit if you’re passing by!
interesting museum, amazing photos and positive staff that is willing to tell you all the fun facts about the Pescheria!
Interesting and neat museum. Has a lot of photographs on the walls which are difficult to see in detail as you are unable to get close to. There is much here to keep the enthusiast engrossed for an hour or more. Entrance 2€, children free.

Stunning town with amazing bars and restaurants and lots of shopping. Well worth the visit the beautiful gem of a place.
Porta Brescia (1551–1558) is one of the main entrances to the fortress, steeped in history and surrounded by a moat of shimmering water. Lined with vibrant flowers year-round, the approach is as charming as it is imposing. It’s awe-inspiring to stand before it and imagine the sheer thickness and strength of the fortress walls, built to withstand centuries of conflict and time.
Very nice village with small city centre, with great view of the lake and option to rent boats or go for a waterfront walk. Lots of nice restaurants.
A great place to walk along the water's edge in the shade and so much colours
Gorgeous, quaint and just lovely. There’s a fantastic kids playground atop the battlement, with a great little coffee shop and shaded playground - bit of a hidden gem.
Great little Cafe at the Port of Peschiera. Grabbed a must needed Aperol and Hugo Spritz. There was no table service, but that wasn't a problem.
This review is from 3 years ago at the time I wrote this (reason -made a new google review focused account): Very beautiful place. However a common issue was the honesty and people: -all the stores sold the same clothes with different pricing -at the parking there was a guy ''acting like he worked there'' and wanted money from you for showing you a parking spot. Nice spot, not so nice people.
Really pretty area, lots to see and Monday’s they have a huge market here!

We did the Classic Wine tour, which was a great experience. The estate itself is super impressive and demonstrates the attention to quality which is evident in their wines. Our guide was very passionate about the business and had a lots of knowledge around the wine making process etc. The tasting was excellent - their own olive oil (with bread, parmesan and salami) and four high quality wines served in good measures. There were just us and a very nice Finnish couple on the tour, so we had a nice chat and a very enjoyable afternoon.
Great wine, little bit more expensive, but well worth to buy some good bottles there. We couldn't taste the wine there and the staff was not very attentive when we were there. But the shop is nice with a good selection.
We went there yesterday and what should I say? It was a waste of time. The lady was so annoyed, really unfriendly and ignored us after giving us a glas of wine to try. Well, we have been there before and they were really nice, but yesterday it was definitely the opposite. There was another couple and they seem to be treated the same. So when I go to a whine shop to taste and to buy some bottles of wine, I assume that I will get a glas of wine to try different wines (not 10 different types but maybe 2 or 3) and that I will get my own glas as well as my husband. We got one and she really wasn’t happy about us wanting to try the wine. Then another client came in and she ignored us. After that we ( and the other couple as well) thought that she would come back to ask us, how we liked it and if we want another wine, but no… other clients came in and she talked to them. So we went outside. We wanted to buy 12 bottles of our Lugana, but we weren’t sure which one (they got 2 types) it was, but we endet buying nothing and won’t do in the future.
Really nice wine and this shop also really nice. The stuff are friendly and also when we ask to try some different wine it was not a problem. At least we go home with some bottles for us at home and a big smiling. Next time again
Very good wine. Unfriendly service, we do not feel welcome. I was there with a small child and with a sports pull-over (regarding the rainy and cold weather). I needed to ask for a taste, although it was a shop with a tasting area. I bought a box of wine and unfortunately had to help myself with it to bring to our car. The client how was leaving when we arrivied, received help with his box. Not family friendly.
We did a wine tour. IT was a private tour. IT was really amazing. We learned a lot and saw the lugana Factory. The host was perfect. She did it with love and it took 2 Hours. The wine tasting was so Nice. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Florentina.
Traditional shop of the one of the best Vineries in the area. You can buy all the product line of Zenato wines. There is quite large warehouse behind the building. Shop is rather small. You can also organize a winery tour here and get some advise. Unfortunately there is no chance to taste the wine before purchase.
Disappointed experience visiting their winery in Italy. Was unable to taste any wines unless a wine tour was booked well in advance. This was not clear on their website and the next available tour date was over a week away. Staff was very unfriendly and unaccommodating! However their wines are still worth purchasing, just don't expect an experience.

Porta Verona is a captivating historical site that transports its visitors back to the charm of past eras. This place stands out not only for its architecture rich with historical allure but also for the unique atmosphere that allows each guest to feel the magic of history. It’s a true gem for history enthusiasts and lovers of beautiful locations, perfect for exploring and drawing inspiration.
One of my favourite place to visit. Stunning views and lovely people. It’s just a small town. Everyone is laid back. Will definitely be back again.
Gourgous old area of town, lovely walks and atmosphere. Great history to be discovered also. The walk along the canal part is lovely, and there’s a great places to eat and shop in the built up part. Thumbs up.
Visited Porta Verona recently and despite the crowd, its beauty truly stood out. The impressive stone archway, steeped in history, offers a grand entrance into the heart of the city. Even with the busy atmosphere, the architectural elegance and timeless character of the gate made it worth the visit. It’s a great spot for photos and a perfect starting point for exploring the surrounding streets. A must-see for history lovers and anyone who appreciates classic Italian design.
Ports Verona at Lake Garda is a charming haven where the serene beauty of the lake meets the elegance of Italian architecture. Picture cobblestone streets lined with quaint shops and vibrant cafes, where every corner invites you to pause and savor the moment. The harbor, a mosaic of boats bobbing gently in the water, frames a backdrop of rolling hills and lush landscapes. As the sun sets, casting a golden glow over the lake, the area transforms into a picturesque canvas of reflection and tranquility. Here, the gentle lapping of waves and the soft murmur of conversation blend seamlessly, creating an atmosphere that feels both timeless and intimate.
Beautifull small city, very lovely, romantic and relaxing to walk, enjoy and feel good.
Very crowded area. Bikes, cars, pedestrians all in one place. Wish we had this very schedule. We missed all the tours.

Great thanks with all the amenities and historical. Just by the lake Garda with an harbour and a train station
Shabby station for one as busy as this one is. This is a small station in a busy town hosting many travelers This station has 3 binari . The upkeep of this station really need work. A paint job A cleaning benches outside next to binari 1 Waste baskets overflowing CLEANING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like most Italian train stations but this station is definitely a low point in visiting the beautiful Lake Garda area.
Don't go through the train line "Italo" - they have a representative who will purposely rush you to purchase tickets and give you misleading information.
Don't use the vending machines upstairs, the take money but don't work. In general a really bad infrastructure at the station.
It’s always a vibe! Crowded in summer and empty in winter. Love the lake for its own vibe.
A pleasant older station while I was going from Milano to Venezia. Surrounded by greenery and old buildings. Not a huge station but a little one. Overall clean and pleasant environment all around. Loved the beautiful lake or river with a bridge nearby.
I was surprised about what I have seen in this small. Very pleasant, small stores and the Garda lake.
We purchased tickets online using the trenitalia app so the review reflects the facilities we used. Its a classic Italian station as one encounters across the country, with familiar architectural style. It's a relatively small station so easy to navigate, and can get quite busy during holiday season. Provides a convenient fast link to Verona, where yiu can change to get further around Italy. The bar was good, prices as expected, nice ice cream counter. Was clean, as we're the bathrooms which were good. Plenty of signage and modern screens updating you on the departures arrivals and do on. Outside is a bus stop where you can get local buses, and the Verona bus, and the free bus to Garda Land.

Decent lake-beach. Bring your own towel and water shoes, the rocks can be tough to walk on barefoot. The bar is simple with all the basics. I preferred this beach to the beach on the other side of Pescheria (Cappucini).
On the stony shore where waves softly sigh, Pebbles whisper tales as time drifts by. In each smooth stone, a quiet grace, A peaceful world in this tranquil place. Don't forget your water shoes and sunscreen, so you can fully enjoy the beautiful day at Lake Garda.
The beach isn’t very large, and around noon on Sundays it can be difficult to find available sunbeds. We managed to get one of the last ones, but it was located in a section without direct access to the water—several dozen meters from the shore and not even visible from the beach itself. Because of that, leaving personal belongings there felt a bit risky. We ended up using the beach a few times in the evening instead, and that turned out to be a much better option.
Absolutely appalling experience. This little café by the lake might look charming on the outside, but don’t be fooled—it’s all downhill the moment you step in. The staff here were not just rude—they were openly hostile and shockingly unprofessional. The way they spoke to me and my family was downright disgusting, as if we were an inconvenience for simply existing. We were met with eye-rolls, sarcasm, and an attitude so sour it could curdle milk. I honestly can't remember the last time I was treated with such blatant disrespect in any cafe or restaurant, let alone one that expects paying customers. It felt like we had walked into their private cafe uninvited. This place is in desperate need of a total staff redo. Until then, do yourself a favour and stay far away. Don’t waste your time, energy, or money on a place where customer service is clearly a foreign concept. Utterly disgraceful. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Nice Pebble beach near Peschiera port. It was quite small during peak hours because of all people, mostly we went here during the afternoon/early night for a swim and some wine/snacks.
The beach is mainly pebble even deeper in the lake. Definitely use swimming shoes. Beach was quite clean. Toilets are available. Water is... Nice cold and clean in the morning, and muddy, warm in the afternoon. Most of the time it is busy because there are big camping sites around.
Good place to take the sun, not enough parking spots nearby, not very clean water
Nice place but crowded. Hard to find parking and all are paid

(Translated by Google) I had the opportunity to attend Athos Faccincani's personal exhibition in this beautiful historic building in Peschiera. The exhibition is free to enter and can be seen until December 31st. This exhibition was an opportunity for me to spend an afternoon learning about the art of today. The landscapes painted by the artist are indeed existing places but they bring with them the magic of a clear gaze full of wonder towards the world. The bright colors of the canvases give the perception that the world is eternally new to our eyes. The paintings communicate harmony between man and passage and, to be more precise, it is the landscape that brings comfort to man as in the painting "sailing towards dawn": where the sea seems to symbolize the adversities of daily life (legacy of early Christian art) with its blue-purple colors and, instead, the sun, towards which the boat spontaneously heads, is a symbol of salvation and joy. The use of colors struck me especially in a painting "Joy of lemons and villas on Lake Garda" where the yellow of the lemons attracts the viewer's attention and brings out the freshness of the surrounding landscape. Furthermore, the blue of the water makes the yellow even more evident as it is its complement. I really liked the juxtaposition of the paintings because it enhances them on a chromatic level: alternating different colors leads the viewer both to concentrate on the single painting but also to want to see the next one almost as if it were a symphony with increasing rhythms. This exhibition restores, as the poet Ferdinando Pessoa would say, "the essential amazement that a child would have if, upon birth, he realized that he was really born" (Original) Ho avuto l'occasione di assistere, in questa bellissima palazzina storica di Peschiera, alla mostra personale di Athos Faccincani.
