Theme Parks
Gardaland Resort is a renowned amusement park located in Castelnuovo del Garda, Verona. Established in 1975, it has gained international recognition and is considered one of the top amusement parks globally. Situated on the shores of Lake Garda, it spans 46 hectares and features a wide array of attractions and themed areas suitable for all ages. The park offers numerous shows daily, themed restaurants, and beautifully landscaped surroundings.
Gardaland Park offers an intense and unforgettable experience for the entire family. As evidenced by the fact that two days were not enough to do everything, the park's enormous size guarantees an endless variety of attractions and activities. Convenience and accessibility are the name of the game at Gardaland. Entry is exceptionally fast, and within the park, you’ll find food stalls and restaurants on every corner, so there’s always a place to rest and eat. Additionally, the park is technologically advanced and offers two useful apps: one for easy navigation inside the park and another for downloading photos taken on the rides, which adds to the experience and provides fun souvenirs. The variety of attractions is indeed for all ages, but it's important to note that most rides are suited for those 100 cm (3.3 ft) tall and above. Therefore, it's wise to plan accordingly. Even so, the park provides a diverse experience for both parents and children. As mentioned, the most worthwhile option is to purchase tickets directly at the box office. In conclusion, Gardaland is a highly recommended destination. It's a very enjoyable experience for parents and children, and it is highly recommended to take two days if possible, to have enough time to enjoy everything this vast place has to offer.

We had an absolutely fabulous day at the Gardaland! You feel like in a fairytale, and all the roller coasters are very exciting! 😍 I recommend going on a (rainy) weekday, so the queues are shorter and you manage to see everything. Feel free to skip the Jumanji Adventure ride though, it’s not quite worth a 40+ minute wait.
Anastasiia K — Google review
Another amazing amusememt park for kids and older as well. Rides get pretty busy with the nice weather, like in every resort. I wish there was a better overview what each ride offers - we waited 90 minutes for Jumanji adventure, which was absolutely no advanture plus it was all in Italian. Other than that, only 4 rides required height over 140, few over 130. Make sure to check these requirements before going. Also, buying tickets outside od the official venue office is cheaper so look for those selling points in the city.
Katja T — Google review
We visited Gardaland on a Wednesday and had an amazing time! 🎢 The waiting time for each ride was less than 15 minutes, which made the whole experience super smooth. The official app showing live queue times was very helpful — it helped us plan our route efficiently and enjoy more rides. The park is clean, beautifully themed, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and organized, and there were plenty of food options and rest areas. Both the kids and adults had a blast — from the thrilling roller coasters to the fun family attractions. Highly recommend visiting on a weekday if possible — short queues, great atmosphere, and so much fun! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yan Z — Google review
I am sure that a family would love this place...my wife and stayed at the Gardaland hotel, and rode the bus to the park in the morning (bus runs every 16 minutes) We love roller coasters and these did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the park is very well cared for (it's clean!) over all a great experience.
Paul R — Google review
Fantastic for kiddies as there is a great balance of calmer rides with ease of motion while still holding very good production value. The adult rides too are equally fantastic. I hold the overall experience below Europa park however and wouldn't go too far out of my way to visit it.
Aaron C — Google review
So much fun, there's something for everyone. We also went during weekday in October, there was minimal queue and wait time even on popular rides. Absolutely recommended visiting if you have kids and are in the area.
Hendy O — Google review
The park is beautiful, maintenance is superb, all clean, well taken care of. Halloween decoration was super nice! Prices are very high as usual in amusement parks. Rides are really exiting with many options.

The Porta Brescia fortress is a historic stone gatehouse located within the city's walls, serving as an entrance to the old town. Alongside it stands a war monument exhibiting cannons and weaponry. It's a fascinating place to visit, where one can witness historical artifacts rather than glorifying wars that have ravaged the world. The location offers excellent food, service at fair prices, making it worth spending money on.
Stunning town with amazing bars and restaurants and lots of shopping. Well worth the visit the beautiful gem of a place.

Porta Brescia (1551–1558) is one of the main entrances to the fortress, steeped in history and surrounded by a moat of shimmering water. Lined with vibrant flowers year-round, the approach is as charming as it is imposing. It’s awe-inspiring to stand before it and imagine the sheer thickness and strength of the fortress walls, built to withstand centuries of conflict and time.

Great little Cafe at the Port of Peschiera. Grabbed a must needed Aperol and Hugo Spritz. There was no table service, but that wasn't a problem.

This review is from 3 years ago at the time I wrote this (reason -made a new google review focused account): Very beautiful place. However a common issue was the honesty and people: -all the stores sold the same clothes with different pricing -at the parking there was a guy ''acting like he worked there'' and wanted money from you for showing you a parking spot. Nice spot, not so nice people.

Visited Porta Verona recently and despite the crowd, its beauty truly stood out. The impressive stone archway, steeped in history, offers a grand entrance into the heart of the city. Even with the busy atmosphere, the architectural elegance and timeless character of the gate made it worth the visit. It’s a great spot for photos and a perfect starting point for exploring the surrounding streets. A must-see for history lovers and anyone who appreciates classic Italian design.

Ports Verona at Lake Garda is a charming haven where the serene beauty of the lake meets the elegance of Italian architecture. Picture cobblestone streets lined with quaint shops and vibrant cafes, where every corner invites you to pause and savor the moment. The harbor, a mosaic of boats bobbing gently in the water, frames a backdrop of rolling hills and lush landscapes. As the sun sets, casting a golden glow over the lake, the area transforms into a picturesque canvas of reflection and tranquility. Here, the gentle lapping of waves and the soft murmur of conversation blend seamlessly, creating an atmosphere that feels both timeless and intimate.

We stayed in Peschiera del Garda for a week half board at a nearby hotel. Visited here on our first night for drinks and loved the atmosphere and the service. We came back on Tuesday evening for drinks and then on Thursday for food. My husband had the Ravioli and I had the Caesar Salad and it was amazing. My husband said it was the best Ravioli he has ever eaten including in Rome and Sorrento. We enjoyed it that much we came back on our last night for more Ravioli and I had the Chicken Burger. Food again was amazing 😍 Cocktails are fantastic and the staff clearly love working here. The owner Valentina told us the chef makes small batches of fresh pasta throughout the day so it’s always fresh for the customers and you can tell. If we come back to Peschiera del Garda this will be the first place we visit 😍

(Translated by Google) I had the opportunity to attend Athos Faccincani's personal exhibition in this beautiful historic building in Peschiera. The exhibition is free to enter and can be seen until December 31st. This exhibition was an opportunity for me to spend an afternoon learning about the art of today. The landscapes painted by the artist are indeed existing places but they bring with them the magic of a clear gaze full of wonder towards the world. The bright colors of the canvases give the perception that the world is eternally new to our eyes. The paintings communicate harmony between man and passage and, to be more precise, it is the landscape that brings comfort to man as in the painting "sailing towards dawn": where the sea seems to symbolize the adversities of daily life (legacy of early Christian art) with its blue-purple colors and, instead, the sun, towards which the boat spontaneously heads, is a symbol of salvation and joy. The use of colors struck me especially in a painting "Joy of lemons and villas on Lake Garda" where the yellow of the lemons attracts the viewer's attention and brings out the freshness of the surrounding landscape. Furthermore, the blue of the water makes the yellow even more evident as it is its complement. I really liked the juxtaposition of the paintings because it enhances them on a chromatic level: alternating different colors leads the viewer both to concentrate on the single painting but also to want to see the next one almost as if it were a symphony with increasing rhythms. This exhibition restores, as the poet Ferdinando Pessoa would say, "the essential amazement that a child would have if, upon birth, he realized that he was really born" (Original) Ho avuto l'occasione di assistere, in questa bellissima palazzina storica di Peschiera, alla mostra personale di Athos Faccincani.

The Rocchetta castle, located within the ramparts of Peschiera del Garda known as Bastione Cantarane, offers visitors a peaceful and serene atmosphere away from the tourist crowds. Nestled along the banks of the river Mincio, this cultural landmark provides an opportunity to appreciate the historical significance of its old walls while surrounded by nature. For those seeking a tranquil experience, there is a pathway outside the walls that can be enjoyed by both cyclists and pedestrians.

It resisted the assaults of the Renaissance wars and the bombings of the Second World War, when the allies destroyed the nearby bridge called "Setteponti". The holes visible in its walls are precisely due to dropped bombs.

(Translated by Google) Arriving by bike along the Mincio cycle path we find the Bastione Cantarane on our right. The Cantarane bastion is the bastion of the Venetian fortress located further south. Immediately after the construction of the Feltrin bastion, the first bastion erected, the Cantarane bastion was built. On the façade of the Bastione the damage suffered during the bombings of the Second World War which demolished the railway bridge called Setteponti built during the Habsburg period is visible. The Setteponti railway bridge, before its destruction, served as both a car and railway crossing.

It can be admired along the cycle and pedestrian path called Passeggiata Montagni. In the cool of the treetops a spectacle of nature opens up, in summer everything is emerald colour. Fantastic!!!! Nestled in the heart of the Italian countryside, Relais Corte Paradiso is a charming villa that offers a serene escape with its spacious accommodations and beautiful grounds. This exquisite estate features a lovely chapel, lush grassy areas, and an inviting outdoor pool perfect for families and couples alike. The well-appointed apartments come equipped with modern amenities like fully stocked kitchens, making it an ideal choice for groups seeking comfort during their stay.
Great place. Good appartment with pool. Near supermarkets and very beautiful places. 100 meters from a Golfcourse.

Highly recommended! As part of an old castle, the dignified holiday flats are located in the middle of a wonderful park with old trees and beautiful flowers, on the edge of a huge golf club. The flats are very spacious and relatively modernly furnished and tastefully decorated. There is shaded parking and a large pool. The equipment is complete and the nice ladies at the reception are very helpful and friendly. You sleep quietly, as if in the middle of the countryside, but by car you can be at Lake Garda or the supermarket or one of the wonderful little towns in the hinterland in a few minutes. The name Corte Paradiso is by no means an exaggeration.

This was our second time in this place. The last time was 6 years ago and it was great. During this visit, there was a feeling that the hotel was not maintained since our last visit. We encountered the following problems in our room: * The shower heads were stuck in both showers. After we complained about it, only one was replaced, but the water pressure was very weak. * The electric kettle was leaking * The kitchen hood was full of dust * The kitchen faucet handle needed a lot of pressure to open the water * The main entrance curtain was dirty * There is no curtain in the master bathroom shower. After you take a shower, the floor is full of water * One of the sofa legs in the living room was broken * There were no duvet covers and the duvets felt very dusty The only to things which were good are the cleanliness of the common arrears (garden, lobby etc.) and the location We liked this place very much during our first visit and recommended it to many friends, but I don't think we will ever come back.

Exquisite estate very professionally managed. The golf course nearby gives this typical Italian countryside hidden gem villa a touch of elegance. The outdoor swimming pool, the little playground makes it suitable for families, couples, while the very practical features of the apartments (such as fully equipped kitchen) make it a great accommodation choice for groups as well. Not far from the city center and/or train station but one needs a car or a taxi to get there. Thank you, Rita and Silvia for making our stay unforgetable even on a rainy weekend :) amazing value for money!

Very nice place. Helpful staff and spacious rooms. Great location, easy to access and cute pool. The beds were too hard for me but everything else was great. I particularly liked that you could get fresh bread in the morning (note that they do not serve breakfast).

The place itself is really good! Nice football field for children, swimming pool. Very good for families. But homes are not clean! They have to step up the cleaning by 10 levels.

A real gem in a wonderful location. Barbara on reception is the nicest and most helpful person you will ever meet and a credit to the company. Thank you Barbara for all your help.
Charles C — Google review
At the checkout there was nobody at the reception. We had to call and wait for almost 1 hour. Because of that we missed our planned activity. Breakfast is served in a basket and very late (8:30), so if you want to be early it's impossible or you don't eat.

Nestled in the heart of Peschiera, the Palleria di Artiglieria is a remarkable historical site that has undergone an impressive transformation. Originally established as an ammunition depot for the fortress's defense, this structure faced years of neglect before being lovingly restored. Today, it serves as the headquarters for the local Alpini group, who not only maintain its upkeep but also warmly welcome visitors.
