⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ THIS IS A MUST DO!!! Located in the breathtaking region of Castellina of Chianti, Tenuta Casanova or Casanova Winery sits peacefully and remarkably. We were first greeted by the animals on property including a friendly peacock as you can see. 🦚 Next, our delightful guide and sommelier walked us through the barreling rooms of their different vintages and aged balsamic vinaigrette.🍷The best part is she allowed us to explore and enjoy the beautiful property and views while preparing our tasting/pairing. What came next was truly remarkable and unforgettable. Learning about the different wines alongside the food pairings was exquisite. 🍾 Easy to fall in love - A pink tuscan champagne 🍷 Casanova Chianti - A Classico made with 98% Sangiovese 🍷 Dincanto Merlot - A delicious Merlot that pairs well with a hearty meal 🍷 Magnificat - “Pope Wine” A limited run of 300 bottles from a vineyard 175 years old. I could not give you a favorite because each were as delicious as the next. My wife and I had an excellent time and were very grateful for the experience. 2nd to none and made our entire Italy Trip. 🚨Pro Tip: Cash required for tasting/pairing and you must order 150 fluid ounces (about 6 bottles or the large magnificat. Book it. you will not regret it! ❤️ 🌅 🍇
Tenuta Casanova is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Tuscany. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family and treated to an experience that was both luxurious and authentic. The property itself is breathtaking—rolling vineyards, historic charm, and the kind of beauty that feels straight out of a movie. The wine and balsamic tastings were unforgettable, each paired with thoughtful explanations and perfectly prepared dishes. Every sip and bite told a story of passion, tradition, and excellence. It’s clear how much care and love goes into everything here, from the estate’s production to the way guests are hosted. This wasn’t just a visit—it was an experience that left us with memories we’ll carry forever. If you’re in Italy, do not miss Tenuta Casanova. Absolutely world-class!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Tuscan Experience at Tenuta Casanova We had an absolutely fabulous wine tasting experience at Tenuta Casanova! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. The setting is breathtaking — classic Tuscan countryside with panoramic views of vineyards and olive trees. The tasting itself was so much more than just wine. Each pour was paired with delicious, home-prepared organic food that showcased the estate’s own ingredients — including their incredible balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Every bite and sip told a story of passion, tradition, and quality - a truly Dincanto (you’ll learn what that means) experience…and the lasagna 🤩🤩🤩 Oksana, our host, was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing the wines and way of life. You can truly feel the heart behind everything Tenuta Casanova does. If you're looking for an authentic, immersive, and delicious Tuscan experience, Tenuta Casanova is a must-visit. We left with full hearts, happy taste buds, and more than a few bottles to take home!
Simple but perfect, “homey”, simple, but complex. The setting is breathtaking — rolling hills, olive groves, and a true sense of Tuscan warmth - it rained in the morning then dried up so we got the most beautiful views. The hosts, were incredibly welcoming but passionate. Each wine, from the fresh and lively white “Easy to Fall in Love” to the elegant Chianti Classico Riserva, reflected care, tradition, and respect for the land. The son’s Dincanto Super Tuscan was a winner. The simple pairing of fresh bread, local cheese, tomatoes, and their own olive oil and aged balsamic was perfection. Lasagne with béchamel, instead of ricotta, was perfection. A genuine, heartfelt experience that captures the beauty of Tuscany. Bonus: a great setting for couple or group photos, including the peacocks, cats, and fruit trees.
Our family of 10 visited for a traditional cooking class and we had a wonderful time! The visit started with a tour of the property and the cellars. The cooking class was so enjoyable. Ricardo was our host and he was so friendly and made our visit an absolute pleasure. Our cooking class was followed by lunch with a wine pairing - everything was delicious. The scenery was spectacular and the history of the winery is very unique and special. This was a highlight of our trip to Italy and we enjoyed every moment of it!!!
We had an amazing experience at Tenuta Casanova today! Elisa did an incredible job sharing the rich family history and teaching us about the fascinating process behind their farm, which produces homemade balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and wine. Every part of the visit was both educational and enjoyable. The five wines paired with lunch were absolutely delicious, and the food itself was outstanding. The staff were also wonderfully accommodating of my husband’s dairy allergy, which made the experience even more special. Since he doesn’t drink wine, his lunch was only €40 (compared to €80 for the full wine tasting and lunch). Such a beautiful and memorable experience — we will truly cherish it forever. Highly recommend!
Tenuta Casanova – A Truly Magical and Unique Winery! We had an unforgettable experience touring Tenuta Casanova with the wonderful Oksana, who shared the rich history of the estate and the inspiring mission of the owners, Rita and Riccardo. Their dedication goes far beyond wine—they are deeply committed to helping children in need in Kenya. Riccardo, a private chef, offers an exclusive opportunity to enjoy a gourmet dinner that he prepares entirely from scratch for up to 10 guests. Be sure to reserve in advance—this is a rare treat! If you’re interested in Italian cooking, Rita hosts incredible 6-hour cooking classes, where you’ll not only learn authentic techniques but also spend two delightful hours enjoying the dish you’ve prepared. And don’t miss their balsamic vinegar—it’s absolutely extraordinary and unlike anything else! We highly recommend visiting this charming, privately-owned winery. It’s a truly special place that offers so much more than just great wine.
Had an awesome experience at this winery. From the moment we got there we were welcomed warmly. Serena did a wonderful job taking us on a tour of the winery, telling us stories and history of the winery and her family that runs it, and introducing us to each wine and food with stories behind everything. This winery is so special and has very admirable virtues. The way they make the wine, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar is spectacular. Everything we had during our experience was so delicious. From the wines, to the olive oil, to the fresh eggs, honey, and balsamic vinegar, everything was excellent. They have great deals on their products if you visit too. We left with the honey and a bottle of wine but wish we could’ve taken more! We did the simple wine tasting and tour which was around an hour and a half total. We were so sad to leave! We will be coming back and cannot wait to return! If you are looking for a winery to go to, please look no further, this is the one, you will not be disappointed!

What a spectacular and unique experience. The wine tasting paired with lunch is truly unique. If I was to describe this winery, this farm, these people … it’s passion. I’ll never forget experience here, and the wine, well, it’s incredible.
Such a special place. We came for lunch and the wine tasting (reservations are required!!) and it was perfect. I indicated in my reservation that I had a dairy allergy, and all of my food was catered to me. The wine is all delicious - we ordered several to the US. The food was incredible, can clearly taste how fresh the ingredients are. There's just something about this place that gives it a little bit extra, the warmth is palpable. It was my birthday and they sang to me with a candle in (dairy-free) gelato. I couldn't recommend it higher. It was a truly perfect experience that we will be talking about forever.
My husband and I traveled to Italy for our honeymoon. Our travel agent booked lunch for us at Sant’Agnese Farm. The boutique winery is absolutely beautiful! The views are spectacular, the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, and the food and wine are delicious! They treated us like family. They made the experience fabulous and we were so excited to be able to purchase wine and have it shipped to the US. The staff made the ordering process easy. We cannot wait to return and order more wine!
We rocked up without a reservation and we’re really lucky that two people who had booked didn’t show and so it was meant to be! (The place was recommended by our hotel staff @Locanda la piazza who were both lovely and knowledgeable and who’s recommendations we trusted.) The staff at Sant’Agnese Farm were incredibly welcoming and friendly also. The food was absolutely fantastic and super tasty, with some incredible olive oils and balsamic vinegars including a 30year old which we also bought as a momento of our trip. The views and setting is great even though it was a lil cold and raining on the day we went it didn’t take away from the experience but I can only imagine how much more wonderful it would be with warmth and sunshine! We also enjoyed the wine tasting and found them to be very generous on this side of things. We also bought a bottle of wine. If is ideal if you are visit these places that you understand there is an opportunity for you to purchase and more so they prefer it if you buy cases and are set up to arrange shipping too so you don’t have to worry about a thing. We certainly didn’t have the budget on this occasion for a case but still bought two items and very much looking forward to opening them upon our return home. Would recommend this place is WELL worth a visit and could be even more fun if there is a large group of you...that way you could also split the cost of shipping and case of wine ;-) Enjoy! GG :-)
The most amazing food and wine. The hosts had beautiful hospitality. A truly authentic Italian experience. A must do if you are in the region.
One of the best experiences in Italy. The owners are amazing people and our guide Alice was one of the happiest/knowledgeable people I have met here so far. 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend
This place was magical for us. Really nice people. The setting is just perfect. They are very generous with the wine, oil etc. The menu is all locally grown. Some pics for you.
Incredible place! My wife and I went on a tour and tasting as part of our honeymoon and the selections were amazing. They did not hold back and were very generous with the wine, even opening up some premium bottles to share that were outside of the tasting menu. The food that came with it was incredible too. The quality across the board was top tier. Their olive oil, balsamic, wine, etc. were all phenomenal. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! They also didn’t pressure you to buy/ship anything either but trust me… we walked out of there with more than a case of a wine!

This was the perfect experience! I absolutely loved how intimate this was. My family (including my husband and two teens) did the wine tasting and light lunch and could not have been happier. The tour was informative but not lengthy, and the history and process was interesting. The total group was small and it felt personal. We did sit out in the beautiful patio and despite heat wave temperatures, we’re comfortable with the breezes, outdoor fans and shade. The “light lunch” was delightful and much more than we expected. It was beyond the value of what we paid. It was fresh and probably one of my favorite meals we had on our Italy trip. The tasting were generous and paired wonderfully with the meal. There were so many options to choose from when trying to find a great experience in Chianti. This was definitely the perfect spot for what I was looking for. Would happily return here!
An incredible experience with Fransesco, our host, who provided impeccable service. The view from the vineyard terrace is splendid. The food and wine are excellent, and the wine + meal package is a must. Our favorites were the pasta with ragu, the 20-year-old balsamic vinegar, the Riserva red wine, the sparkling white wine, and the tiramisu for dessert. We visited several vineyards in Tuscany, and this one is one of our favorites. Salute!
Lovely wine tasting experience in Chianti! The property and people are beautiful and we had a very educational tour and tasting that included wine, balsamic, and olive oil all made on property as well as delicious bites to pair! Would definitely visit again if we are in the area and would recommend as a stop in your wine tasting tour of Tuscany!
Absolutely wonderful! My wife and I came here on our last full day in the Tuscany region and we could not have asked for a better experience. Gloria kindly greeted us at the front desk. Thomas - the ginger Italian :) - was our tour guide through the fermentation vats and cellar. He also educated us at the wine tasting. We had five different wines plus sampled their olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Thomas was very personable and a joy to have as our host. All questions were answered and the whole experience was laid back. After the wine tasting we relaxed on the patio overlooking the vineyards and hills to the south. It was a bit chilly, yet sunny and pleasant outside. Gloria then offered us some espresso and blankets for the patio. Such hospitality. Everything was done with a genuine smile. This place, the people, and of course their wine are an absolute must if you are in the area!
If you’re reading this do yourself a favour and book the wine tasting and lunch experience immediately! We could not have had a better experience with Tomas (the “ginger” - his words not mine!) leading the way. The quality of the tasting and descriptions provided, the tour of the delightful winery and the actual wine and outstanding lunch left all 12 of us huge fans. That the owner dropped by and the warm welcome by the staff also contributed to a memorable experience.
We had a wonderful wine tasting experience at Poggio Amorelli Winery. We sampled five different types of wine, along with their exquisite olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The tasting was truly enjoyable — we fully embraced the moment and felt genuinely happy throughout. This is a place you definitely shouldn’t miss; if you do, you’ll regret it. Everyone was very kind and answered all of our questions in great detail. The family who runs the winery is also incredibly warm and welcoming. Plus, they have the cutest dog and cat — a lovely touch that made the experience even more special. :)
Francesco was absolutely amazing! We honestly thought he was the owner because of how passionate, attentive, and professional he was. He made us feel so well taken care of always focused on our tastes, super friendly, and truly passionate about what he does. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend Poggio Amorelli to everyone!
Absolutely a dream experience here. Gorgeous grounds and views, wonderful service. The food and wines are divine - the "light" lunch is a full meal. Come hungry! Such a special experience - can't wait to come home to the box of wines and balsamic we ordered! Thank you to Tommaso!

This was a great visit! Spectacular sweeping views with interesting artifacts! The Castle is easily accessible and fairly priced. We enjoyed our visit so much that we will probably visit again when we return in the future.
Beautiful caste with rich history.
Linked into the fantastic museum next door, the castle had a wonderful art exhibition on when we visited. However walk up the tower to see the amazing views. Breathtaking. (There are a lot of steps!).
Really small little village. Perfect stop following the SR222 from Florence to Siena (or the other way around). Worth a visit for a drink and to enjoy a really nice, old tusany village on top of a mountain with a nice castell and church.
If you appreciate history and medieval architecture san gimignano is not to be missed. For those less interested there are tons of great shops and restaurants.
Nice town. Castle worth a visit, great views from the top
splendidly preserved medieval castle. the views from the top are spectacular. you need a ticket for the archeological museum next door to get access to the tower (6 euro).
The building itself is beautiful but inside it is mainly a museum to their local soccer team with a few Etruscan relics.

Large tomb, with a diameter of more than fifty meters with four burial chambers arranged according to the cardinal points. Car parking about 5 mins walk away. Nice view and walk into town..
no entry fee. You can walk on, around and go inside the burial mound. If visiting Castellina then worth the 5 min walk.

(Translated by Google) This modest Etruscan tomb is a typical example of this type of burial in Tuscany. Located a few steps from the charming, tiny and uncontaminated town of Castellina in Chianti, it is worth a visit in every season of the year. An ideal starting point to admire the unique landscape of Chianti. Recommended for everyone, including families with children. (Translated by Google) A different place where you can breathe the ancient history of Tuscany. Just outside Castellina in Chianti you can easily reach the necropolis on foot which is located on this small peak called Montecalvo. The Etruscan tombs are positioned in the four cardinal points and are accessible, they can be visited without paying any ticket. They are well kept, but it's a shame that there is no lighting inside as they are completely dark. They are obviously empty since the archaeological finds discovered are preserved in the archaeological museum of Castellina.

Superb food and wines deep in the heart of the Chianti region of Tuscany. The food on the Tasting Menu was an exquisite experience, sheer culinary artistry by the chef! Bravo! The wines on offer were superbly paired… Well done, a magical lunch experience - service was supreme too!
Booked a wine and tapas tour for 3 pm for 75 Euro, were there on time. Had the tasting but after that they told us that the tapas lunch would have taken place at 1.30 pm. Neither the website nor the booking confirmation tells you to be there 1.5 hours before the tour. Also the wine tasting was nice, but they pour an extremely small amount of wine in the glasses. A wine tasting is of course just for a tasting purpose, but only one sip per wine is weird. Edit: As the false booking information wasn't our fault, they were super kind after I complained via mail and gave us a fully refund. Still not a great experience, but customer service was really good.
Fantastic food and wine experience at Castello di Fonterutoli, one of the Mazzei family’s wineries. Amadeo was a perfect host and tour guide, giving fantastic and interesting information about their wines and philosophy. The wine tasting was great, with 7 wines that ranged from very good to excellent. After the tasting, there was a lunch with wine pairing at their Osteria. The food was outstanding, and the wine pairing perfect. Would definitely recommend a visit here.
One of the best wine tours I have been on. Went for the basic package – which was more than enough. Lovely host and tour of the pressing floor, barrels and cellar rooms. Recommend, if you can, visiting during the harvest so you can see the grapes fermenting. Tasting after was lovely, with plenty of wines to try. Very modern feel, worth a visit.
Fantastic Tour and Wine Tasting experience. Our guide could tell we knew a bit about wine so kept the tour to under 30 min, long enough to get the history of the winery and see the tanks and gorgeous cellar. The VIP tasting for 70 euros was well worth it, as you tasted the highest end wines they produce and had ample opportunity to revisit favorites. The 15% discount on wines by joining the free club with no future purchase commitment was a nice bonus, and all in all Mazzei was an outstanding tasting experience.
The wine tasting tour with francesco was really nice, 10/10 would recommend
This place is quintessential. It's one of the oldest wineries in all of Chianti, it offers a great overview and introduction into the winemaking process. We also enjoyed tasting some exquisite wines. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a classic and positive wine tour and tasting experience in Chianti.

Had the most beautiful wines here. Great value for money. The estate had an incredible view and we were taken on a lovely tour from the knowledgeable Dalmazio. 10/10 experience
Very nice location and very friendly staff. Even when we arrived at the end of the day they took their time to allow us to taste and buy a few bottles at our leisure. They also have excellent online service to clear up any shipping issues.
This was a very nice winery in the hills, not far from Florence that we visited. The young man who gave us out tour was very helpful and friendly. He explained their sustainable practices and their history. The grounds are beautiful and quite large. Their wine selection is great too! Definitely worth visiting!
The host was rude and we had to taste the wine in the backyard because we didn't book in advance... would be better if he had told us he can't accept us... The place is beautiful!!! The wine was special
We’ve been drinking the Castellare Chianti Classico in the US, first when lived in New York and now that we live in Dallas. We were so happy to visit the winery during our recent trip to Tuscany! The staff was very friendly and helpful at every turn and Dalmazio was a fabulous host. We enjoyed our entire experience, and look forward to receiving enjoying our case of wine when it arrives in a few weeks!
We enjoyed a nice personal tour by Marco and then tasted 4 of the delicious wines they have to offer. The tour and tastings took an hour and were only 12 euros per person. Great experience!
Great prices, simple humble but delicious wine. 5€ for a tasting, refund if you buy over 15€ in bottles. Gorgeous views. Can’t order by the glass, nowhere to sit outside but you can walk around
Great experience at the winery! The wines were great but the service was stellar. Special thanks to Dalmazio who received us even without reservation and took the time not only to show us the wine portfolio but to give recommendations to enrich our trip in Tuscany.

We had one of our best days in Italy here. Amazing food and wine! One of the best meals of my life! Raymond and Anna Rita were so kind. Anna Rita explained the whole operation and it was such a delightful visit.
Raymond and Anna Rita are the most wonderful hosts! Not only do they have a great tour, they are lovely people to spend an afternoon with. My husband and I loved seeing their vineyard and farm. The wine was plentiful and delicious, along with amazing food, olive oil, and balsamic. I’d highly recommend (and cannot wait to come back)!
They are the coolest people in Chianti making the stay super enjoyable through the passion that they share. Best Cinta Senese Cold Cuts tasted in Tuscany.
(Translated by Google) We went there once and wanted to buy salami etc. there. When we drove up the very bumpy path we found buildings, but no one was there. We rang the bell once. Then the owner probably came and said this was a private house. My comment that it says on the Internet that it is open from 1:00 to 3:00 PM was commented that you had to make an appointment. We were just about to leave when two workers came. One of them was very nice and led us into the cold rooms to the sausages and ham. We could then buy something there. I asked if this was also a hotel, and we said yes. You can forget the picture with the pool. It was a brown sewer and the whole area looked as if it hadn't been used for a long time. Totally run down. The 2 stars are expressly for the nice butcher who gave us the salami even cheaper because we didn't have enough cash with us. Addition after response from owner: You can only taste something there if you are registered. However, it doesn't say that you can't buy anything there. We were probably impressed by the pictures and the partly very old reports. Dear owner: I apologize that we bought 4 salamis from you for 50.00 euros. If it wasn't possible, I wonder why we got this. It's all very strange, but it doesn't matter. We just described what we experienced and saw. Da konnten wir dann was kaufen.

In Castellina in Chianti, if you are looking for a dreaming place to taste delicious wines in the Chianti Classico area, actually they have 17 different.. so, you can’t loose this amazing place, with tables among wisteria flowers and nightingales.. Manola, Nicolas or even Mathieu if you are lucky who is the head and the heart behind those stunning wines.. here the main word is Heart. Enjoy

(Translated by Google) An excellent experience in this little corner of paradise. We were given an excellent welcome, the person who welcomed us was very available, offering us all the necessary information and answering our questions. We were able to taste in complete peace the numerous wines of the estate (there is something for everyone), the olive oil and the limoncello. Thank you for this moment.
(Translated by Google) We thought we had booked a tour of the facilities and a guided tasting. Not a chance! Avoid this place; it offers absolutely nothing. It's a real shame because the location is superb. Terrible welcome, no tour, left to our own devices to "taste" wines from vending machines. And the wines were awful! Leo would be turning in his grave.
(Translated by Google) We visited the Léo Ferré winery for a wine tasting. The welcome was disappointing. We were allowed to help ourselves to different wines, but received no explanation about the grape varieties, the vineyard, or the winemaking process. We tasted six or seven wines of varying quality out of the twelve offered (reds and whites, some sparkling). We enjoyed two of them. The location is beautiful. The road leading to it is bumpy.

Absolutely loved this! Beautiful grounds, roomy and modern apartment, fantastic restaurant for dinner. The views! 😍 And the location is a perfect base for exploring the area. We stayed for a few nights with a young toddler, and we especially appreciated the toys and books provided by reception!
Superb location - beautiful tuscan views, great common areas, very good restaurant. Rooms are a bit dated though - doors are squeaking, bathroom makes weird sounds when people from other rooms are using theirs. All in all, we were happy there.
This villa in Tuscany is just magical! The sunsets are so stunning they literally take your breath away! The food was delicious, the staff super friendly, and the whole place has such a warm, authentic vibe. Our apartment was big, cozy and full of charm. Everything about our stay was wonderful, and I would come back in a heartbeat. Truly an unforgettable experience in Tuscany! ♥️
Riserva di Fizzano is definitely a place to visit! The best holiday house in the area with an amazing view, great apartments and service! The area is quiet and really the holiday you are dreaming for! It is close to Poggibonsi town where you can find everything you need! will be back again soon! Thank you for your hospitality! And do not forget to make their wine plus lunch tour in Rocca delle Macìe enoteca!
Fantastic wine hotel owned by the Zingarelli family and belonging to the Rocca delle macie vineyard. This is in the middle of the Chianti area and with countless excursion possibilities. We stayed here for a week and already want to return. Smiling and exellent service at the reception, fantastic food in the restaurant, lovely pool area, perfect silence, incredible view and the apartments are large and perfectly rustically furnished. The place is recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a comfortable and quiet atmosphere in the middle of a fantastic wine region. The service is 10/10. The place is highly recommended.
The most amazing location in the heart of Tuscany. At Relais Riserva di Fizzano you are guaranteed breathtaking views and service that is truly 10/10. Breakfast covers most needs, and the dinner at the restaurant is nothing short of outstanding – it honestly doesn’t get better than this. The room was in classic, older Italian style and perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the bed in our room (no. 10 or 11) was terrible – completely collapsed springs and impossible to sleep on, so I had to spend half the nights on the sofa instead. This really needs to be improved. However we are for sure coming back.
A wonderful experience for my entire family at Relais Riserva di Fizzano. The view, the food, the wine, the relaxation and of course, the staff made it all come together. It doesn’t get any better than this for the “out in the Tuscan countryside” experience. Grazie mille for your hospitality! The Mays and Sorensen Families
Wonderfully located on top of a hill with perfect sundset views framed by the famous hills of the Chianti region, this gem of an apartment hotel was our base for a week in summer. We enjoyed the exceptional hospitality of the staff, especially Ilaria, the nice pool and the good food in the adjacent restaurant. At the reception, they helped us with everything from little support with the apartment to recommendations for family activities and restaurants, all while kids were playing with the toys provided by the hotel. It’s perfect for day trips to nearby Castellina in Chianti (10 mins), Siena (25 mins), or any of the numerous nice vineyards. The rooms are spacious and very good value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back.

We had a wonderful experience at Brancaia! The views and food were amazing and the wine tasting was affordable and impressive. We did nearly 10 wine tastings in Tuscany, and this was the only winery where we tried ten wines and liked every single one. We bought 8 bottles but had to pay to ship 12 as required by law. Our sommelier Massi offered to have someone meet us the next day to get 4 bottles we had already purchased to make our shipping cost worth it. He made arrangements and stayed in communication to ensure we could make this happen. They added our 4 other bottles and shipped all 12 to the US. The wine arrived home before we did! Couldn’t recommend this winery more!
A perfect dinner with excellent wine. What a great experience. Coming from South Africa, we are spoilt for choice with wine farms and this place really made an impact. The incredible food and delicious wine paired with a fantastic view was the cherry on top for our Tuscany visit.
First impression was: very cosy and nice place! The tasting: To be honest, we found it very unkind. "Just finish quickly, we have more to do" (which may well be the case) was the feeling we got. We were just rushed off. On top of that, there were no new glasses or they weren't washed between the wines. You don't have to do that if the different wines don't have any major differences. … And there were actually only very few surprises (our opinion). The wines aren't bad, but you can taste the size of the company and that marketing has become more important than getting the real greatness out of the grapes. All in all … the taste is personal opinion but the presentation doesn‘t match to the marketing.
Excellent lunch option for food allergies. They have tons of gluten free options. I was able to have fried artichokes made with GF breadcrumbs, GF gnocchi in a dairy free sauce, and they even made a GF portion of their courtesy appetizer. All of it was delicious! We also did a wine tasting which was excellent.
A restaurant and winery with a breathtaking view giving you a feel of serenity being there. The combination of a fantastic winery and excellent osteria made it an exciting visit for us, a wine lover and food lover! The plates were created with care, and looked to beautiful to eat. All tasted delicious and served by a very friendly and attentive team of people. We will come back for sure!
If there’s one winery to visit while in Tuscany, I highly recommend this gem! What an incredibly beautiful place with fabulous staff and a restaurant where I had the best meal I had in all my three weeks in Italy. Stunning vistas, fantastic award-winning wine and fabulous food; Brancaia is more than worth the drive. A bonus: they speak great English!
Had lunch here just last weekend. It was by far, the best meal we had during our 14 day trip to Italy. We caught porcini mushrooms in season - chef was working them various ways. We had a zucchini flower, black truffle pasta that was off the hook. Wines are always great, but the food was a pleasant surprise. Staff was solid and friendly. Rainy day - great views and great experience.
My wife and I had a fabulous time at Casa Brancaia. The property and facilities are breathtakingly beautiful. We booked a tour and tasting with the lunch upgrade, and I’m very glad we did both. The tour was relaxed and informative. The tasting was well put together, and the wines were great. All of the food was exceptional, and the service was friendly and attentive. To top it off, we felt the lunch was actually quite good value as it comes with a bottle of wine either to enjoy there or take home. Bonus points for being able to book on the evening before through their online booking system! ps. The roads leading up to the winery are rough gravel, so be prepared to take a little more time than you expect to get there. With that said, any car can make it as our rental Mini Cabrio did just fine.

Great store! Staff speak fantastic English and share lots of information about the wine to help you choose - tasting also available. They also have a terrace out back where you enjoy an aperitivo after 6pm and watch the sunset. Sadly wasn't able to stay for this but saw the view from the adjacent car park - its unbelievable!
The best place for a sunset aperitivo. Absolutely gorgeous sunset, lovely service, fantastic wine. Hidden gem
Great wine selection. Amphora aged Chianti is a great choice
Check it out. Tasted some nice wines and bought a few bottles.
Beautiful sunset view!
The best vine we've tasted in Toscana. And that says a lot

Perfect location for an authenic wine tasting experience. Adina, who showed us around, was an incredible host and made sure we had a day to remember. Grazie mille!
We were welcomed by the mother and daughter that work for the vineyard as guides. Had the most wonderful experience and they absolutely took all the time for us to explain about the winery and wines.
Amazing! Make sure to stop here if you are in the area. Excellent winery in scenic setting. We did a wine tasting with lovely Lauretta, our welcoming host. Great Chianti and other Tuscan wines. The olive oil is very tasty as well!
Amazing Wineyard with a stunning view over the landscape. You can enjoy a wine tasting or just a bottle of their really good wines (one of the best rosés I ever had) in their small garden while overlooking the wine fields and hills. When in Tuscany, you should make sure to go there! Definitely worth a visit!!
Great place for a wine tasting, amazing tour around vineyard. Highly recommended to take gold tour on the website, to see how looks the process of wine making.
Lovely strada Bianchi section. Beautiful views, the a view visitors arrived at the same time. Inside are 2 or 3 big tables and a bar, it was a little cozy; there lots of tables outside but it was too hot. We ended up standing by the bar and tasting wine. The ladies made the experience very welcoming and interesting. They speak a lot of different languages.
Excellent winery and even kinder host. One of our favorite experiences in Tuscany!
Great experience. Our host was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. There is a splendid tour of the winery, where you can learn about the whole process of winemaking. The wine tasting experience is very nice - there is a selection of delicious wines along with cheese and salami.
