Beautiful temple with a very pleasant atmosphere.
Spacious and pretty temple. You can call in to have a sleep over. Around ¥6000 per night with 2 meals.
Really nice place and a must visit as the 40th out of 88 temples in Shikoku.
(Translated by Google) It feels like a temple in the middle of town. As expected, the main hall is air-conditioned and cool. There are also amulets and other items available. It's also fun to start your pilgrimage from the place farthest from temple number 1.
(Translated by Google) Temple No. 40 of the 88 Shikoku Temples About a 40-minute drive from Temple No. 39, Enkoji Temple. Finally, I entered Ehime Prefecture. Kochi was a long journey. This is the temple farthest from Temple No. 1, Reisenji Temple. It's reasonably spacious, and seemed like a good place for a stroll. The begging raccoon statue is cute. The inscription next to the stone frog statue, "Cures illness," was a bit forced, and made me laugh. I love going here because it has a lot of fresh local produce, a great selection of souvenirs, and plenty of fish, juice, and snacks! The eggs here are some of the most affordable in the area and my favorite herb to get here are large bushels of parsley. The employees are very kind of some of them speak a little English. The take cash and PayPay.
Friendly helpful people. Special mention to the man running the Oban yaki stand who cooked up special orders and gave us a free hot custard yaki. Roomy rest area to sit and use the free WiFi. Clean toilets. Lots of local fruit and vegetables in the shop area but hard to get a hot coffee.
It's a mini road side station (道之駅) selling fresh vegetables and food.
Nice place. There is wash room. Plenty of parking space. Nice shop.
Good 💯😊 Soo much

Great for camping and BBQs. Has water access for swimming but no beaches. Onsen close by for showering and rental shop for snorkeling
Very cheap camping site. Close to the beach where you can snorkel to see coral and small fish. Big pond with full of turtles you would enjoy feeding some bread. There is a big spa across the street with good restaurants. When it’s not too packed, very nice.
(Translated by Google) If you wish to camp overnight, you will need to pay 300 yen at the time of application. It's a nice and cheap amount to pay for garbage disposal. Although it was my first time using the hotel, the manager gave me detailed explanations, and I was able to stay there without any problems. The site was well maintained and very comfortable. It is well-equipped and close to the parking lot, making it easy to carry your luggage. There are hot spring facilities and restaurants right in front of you, so you can relax and heal the fatigue of your trip.

(Translated by Google) A place where you can feel as if you are abroad. The reason why it feels like it's quite a distance from the roadside station in Gosho is because the road is so rolling that I can't see to my right or left. Just when I was starting to feel like I should give up and go home, I suddenly saw a well-maintained parking lot and clean restrooms, and my mood improved. The view from there is irresistible. The weather was good, so we could see far into the distance. The water for the toilets seems to be brought in regularly from the town, so I think I'll use it carefully. It was a great place to be on your way home, feeling like the hardships you had to go through to get there added up to the beautiful scenery ✨ (Original)
The view from the cape is awesome! At the dawn, the water surface shines deep blue, after the sun rises, it turns into fresh blue, at the sunset, the sea becomes deep blue again and you can see wonderful sunset. But there's no public transportation. You have to drive narrow winding roads.
(Translated by Google) [Breathtaking Views / You Won't Regret] We arrived just in time to see the sunset. The view was spectacular. Unfortunately, there were a lot of clouds, so we couldn't see the sun sink into the sea, but the sky was a vibrant red, so we were very satisfied. The views of the islands, cliffs, and long promenade from above were also amazing. [Toilets] It was newly built and is very clean. [Caution] We drove from Ainan Town, but there's a risk of landslides along the way. It's best to be careful in bad weather, such as rain. ■↓If you found this review helpful, please click "Helpful." (Translated by Google) There aren't many cars passing by in this area, so I think it's easy to drive (there are a lot of curves). There is a large parking lot and toilets. (Translated by Google) From within about 10km of Cape Takamo, the road becomes narrow and the condition becomes poor. There were some places that didn't have curved mirrors, and the road was littered with leaves and stones, so it's best to be careful when driving👍 After we arrived, we had lunch while admiring the magnificent scenery, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky, so it was sunny and very pleasant😋 The wind wasn't blowing that much (*^^*) There were many anglers here and there at the small rocky area at the bottom, so it looks like you can do some fishing as well. I don't think it's possible to go to the rocky area unless you go by boat💦 The toilet was clean and easy to use. Next time I would like to ride a bike 😊 (Original)

(Translated by Google) I think it's easy even for beginners. Even with breaks along the way, it takes about an hour and a half to reach the summit from the parking lot. There are clear footprints. (Translated by Google) After visiting Kongofukuji Temple on a pilgrimage, it is customary to visit Gassan Shrine in Otsuki or Sasayama. It's now an uninhabited shrine, so you can't get a stamp, but it's a great place to climb. It took 40 minutes to slowly climb up from the parking lot and 30 minutes to descend. There are no steep slopes or dangerous places along the way, so you can easily climb it with sneakers. The summit is just behind the shrine. Please note that the Akebono Tsutsuji area is locked and cannot be accessed. By car, it is easier and faster to get there from the west side. The road from the east is narrow and long, and is not in good condition, with many falling rocks and fallen leaves, so you have to be careful when driving.
(Translated by Google) In May 2023, I went to Sasayama, which I had been interested in for a while. I didn't go all the way up to the mountain climbing as it was just for another matter. Well, both the Ehime Prefecture side and the Kochi Prefecture side are quite steep roads. If you are heading from Prefectural Route 4, it is safe to take the forest road. The road from near Sasadaira Campsite in Sukumo is not recommended as it is narrow and poorly maintained. My tire went flat when I was going downhill. Next time I would like to come with proper mountain climbing equipment. I wonder when it will be... I went to the first parking lot, hoping there were no oncoming cars, and found that there was a clean restroom in the parking lot. Since I wasn't wearing climbing shoes, I turned back at this point and ate my lunch at the beautiful Shirataki Park. Shirataki is just like Kegon Falls in Nikko! It's brave! There were handmade tables and chairs in the park, and we didn't have to see anyone, just the sounds of birds chirping and waterfalls. Proceeding from Yamamoto Farm and Hajikawa Onsen, if you dare to go through the pitch-black tunnel, you will reach Shirataki! On the way back, choose the path to Ipponmatsu! This one was along the river and looked like Oirase Valley. Beautiful azaleas were blooming. Please go and try it.
