Always a really nice place to walk and take in the scenery. I would recommend this to anyone from anywhere to visit. Lots of wild life water sports. And a food hall on the way round.
Absolutely love thus place all year round but especially in summer where it's always good to have a paddle. There's supervised swimming 🏊‍♂️, canoeing, jet skiing 🎿 to name but a few. I just like to have a walk and reconnect with nature. Great place to walk your dog 🐕.
Lovely place to walk around at anytime of the day. But i do enjoy an evening walk 👌 The restaurant stays open quite late and offers take out option on their hot drinks, possibly others never tried. The restaurant staff are helpful and friendly too. There are a few different walks available, lots of great photo opportunities and also a wildlife hut half way if you need to take 5. Benches around the walk too. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Never tried the water activities but from what I have seen they appear to be good, folk sound happy enough when partaking. Great for dog walks too
Lovely park for a walk or a picnic on a sunny day. Quite big and plenty of space to sit around the lake. **PLEASE NOTE: No renting available this summer - which was quite disappointing since we had read online that you were able to hire pedal boats, canoes, kayaks etc.
A beautiful place to visit especially on a sunny day. Lots of activities available and a lovely place for dog walking and a day out. Has everything needed for a great family activity day to a quiet lone walk with the dog. A lot is wheelchair accessible.
Beautiful park with lots of activities, plenty of parking. Great to spend time with family and friends.
Great place to visit..ive not been here for quite a while..brings back some many childhood memories..
Such a beautiful walk. Very well looked after trail. Which even breaks off onto the river Mersey if you're wanting different scenaryy

Beautiful free garden to wander around in. Very well maintained and a lovely place to be. Makes a difference to the other neglected parks in the area.
A really beautiful and unique garden that kind of feels like being in a video game map. It's clear there's been a lot of effort put into making and maintaining it.
The Walken Gardens is not only a charming garden for the Wisteria goers but it is also a picnic place for family gatherings on holidays. The particular design of the garden is a mysterious maze giving you a challenge on the lawns walking through to find your way out. When entering the Gardens, people are firstly greeted by the "Dovecote" standing solemly before your sight. Walking along the lawns of the maze, you can find an arch built for the wiseria plants climbing on it , red maples to attract your eye-sight, types of butterflies and bees dancing among the flower blossoms. People are hardly to find a garden like Walken Gardens because there are spacious squares designed inside the maze for families to bring their children for a picnic here. It is a pity that most of the wisteria blossms had fallen when I have visited. There are still some strings of them hanging down overhead from the brim of the arch. Wisteria goers can have a good view in the early May of each year.
Wisteria is blooming! Finally caught it this year:) This garden is always well looked after
Small but perfectly formed park! Best bit IMO is the Japanese garden which looks beautiful in all seasons with its stone river and cute seating area. Also has a wisteria tunnel, which is amazing to walk through when in bloom, a mini hill great for little ones to tumble down and a mini maze. No swings or slides though, just lots of connected little gardens.
A pretty little gardens, great in all seasons, especially autumn when all the leaves change colour. In spring the flowers are beautiful and vibrant. Good place for a short walk with the dog, although dogs are kept on leads which is good for nervous dogs or puppies.
Lovely park, amazing Japanese garden with plenty of paths to explore and relax.
Little hidden gem. I was here almost every day when walking the dog during covid and I believe it helped me. Even took some of our wedding pics here.

We have been coming here on and off over many years. We love the rustic and homely feel of the place. The food is always amazing and the views are on par. This is a dog friendly pub which we also love, it's nice to see a venue that caters for dog owners because with the great walking trail that surrounds the pub it's easy to be able to nip in and have a drink without the worry of having your pet with you.
Amazing pub, dog friendly (free dog treats and water). Beer garden and perfect for families and kids with a play area. Carlie offered a great service and very attentive, friendly bar staff, Ant will convince you to buy a double on a Sunday, food portions are massive and good value for food.
Unfortunately the food was very disappointing, we came on a Sunday after a walk and ordered the chicken roast, pigs in blankets and cauliflower cheese. The cauliflower cheese was inedible. Roast potatoes were average, chicken was dry and veg was cold. I wouldn’t recommend eating here. I will say it was a decent pub and has a nice pub garden for a drink.
Nice old pub by the river. Good food limited juice of beer though. Quite busy especially for a Tuesday. Shame they had run out of several things.
What can I say but how disappointed we are. This pub used to have decent, good fresh pub grub. Came in yesterday lunch. Ordered chilli con carne (advertised on menu as comes with rice, sour cream and tortilla chips.) Food came out with just rice. When I questioned the waitress she argued with me about it not stating that until I showed her the menu... the food came out Stone cold in the middle as it had been badly microwaved. So asked for it to be hot.. it came back out bubbling after being extremely microwaved. And again no tortillas, had to go hunt for my own cutlery after the waitress forgot twice.. asked again about the sour cream and tortillas. She begrudgingly went to find them. Tried the tastless, super microwaved chilli. And the rice. The rice was rock solid like inedible. Waitress come back with sour cream etc. Pointed out it was inedible and rice hard and I'd like it to be taken back and refunded. Which she did. Highly unorganised a d very poor service. I think they need a little more training on product, cleanliness and people skills.. the place wasn't even busy maybe ten tables maximum. If I could give zero stars I would
Nice on a nice day with loads of outdoor seating and dog friendly. Long time since I had food in there , average prices on beer. The huge advantage is being able to enjoy a walk round the lake and up the river , even over to Chorlton. I don't bother with the parking system and just park at the lake and have a walk. Inside , maybe a little old and tired but reasonable. It's great strength is that it is in a nice setting, and if you are out for a walk in that area there is no other rival pub in the vicinity.
Went to this pub after a kayaking trip and was pretty cold and wet. Was still welcomed by the really friendly staff. Service at the bar was quick. I didn't eat but I need to go back as the menu looked really good, with some veggie and vegan options.
Bar man Anthony was a riot, gave the place a lot of character. Mould needs sorting in the men’s bathroom. Food was actually proper good pub grub moment. Gammon and chips were on point. My man had pie and chips and that was also top notch.

Worthington Park is beautiful in all seasons but is in its element now during autumn. The trees and their colours are spectacular. Parking can be found on Broad road, and smaller side roads, check street signs for info on restrictions. The park is a big loop and has pathway all around, fully accessible to all. Dog friendly, please clear up your dogs mess, bins provided. 2 play areas, skateboard ramp on main field, lots of benches, adult exercise machines, and new wildlife garden area.
We were at the fair. We watched the Trident tae Kwan do team's demo. The park is lovely.
Absolutely fantastic! Our first time here. Park is absolutely huge. With an open area for dog walking to two separate parks, which is for smaller kids, one for older. Lovely little walks plus skate park. With a beautiful and peaceful nature.
Nice park popular for dog walks and runners. Well maintained and supported by a local group.
Love this park. Great for dogwalking and picnics with grandchildren. Best of all is the ice cream van that visits. The most delicious and creamy soft serve ever. Not overpriced and a lovely woman working in the van. Worth going to the park just to have it.
Beautiful, well kept park, two playgrounds, bowling greens and an adult exercise area which is well kitted out. Dog walkers respect the park. Amazing new chainsaw sculptures and panels of stunning photographs, drawn by children of the local school, added since our last visit.
Great location to find parking places. You can park in side roads or outside by the main entrance and it's free. This park contains 2 big fields, 2 children playground areas, some materiel for gym and workout and 1 skating playground. The toilet here is closed, so bear in mind this in case you need a wee 😁 Great park for short walks and dog walks.
Lovely park, nice to walk leisurely around or just sit on a bench and enjoy nature. Places for kids to play are varied and well kept. People without kids can still enjoy peace and quiet away from the play area.

Visited just after new year so yes it's going to be quiet, no problem with that. The two staff behind the bar very friendly and professional. Looks like the Venue has had some money spent on it, downstairs basement area doesn't smell of damp anymore. Deco OK and new . Beer choice good 👍🏻
Over the last 2-3 years this establishment has fell off completely. Been in a few times since Jackson left and the new staff are pretentious, stuck up snobs who judge you after taking one look at you and refuse entry for no good reason. If Nick is still in charge I would highly recommend bringing the 2020-2021 staff back especially Jackson, Kelly, Blaine and Joe. If I could put 0 stars I would. It’s a big shame as I have been going in there for years and recently moved back into the area. Absolutely disgusted by the lack of customer service.
Wonderful pizza and great selection of drinks. Haven't been back for the live music, but will be!
Top management does everything for the community that he has established loads of friendly people into the pub great beer he does the lines every week like music top atmosphere I wish the other pubs in sale were like this pub 10/10
I like The Steamhouse. Only seemed to be one bar staff member serving but he was very efficient and never got anything wrong. Reminded me of Eddie Redmayne somehow but I'm not sure why. Anyway, good music, good atmosphere, lots to recommend. I've been there before and I will go there again. Nice place. Like it lots. Simon
Came in on Saturday and there was an Amazing saxophone player and DJ; drank plenty of cocktails (The Margaritas were great) everyone was up and dancing! Can’t wait to see downstairs open! Great bar and lovely staff!
Always very very busy late on... usually good, friendly service. Could do with a lick of paint as the decor is getting a bit shabby. Really enjoy the love music nights but haven't seen one there in a while.
Lovely local pub that me and partner visit very often, it’s just a shame that one member of their staff happened to ruin it. Myself and my partner went in on Saturday night for a drink, it was absolutely rammed and whilst in the que, a member of staff approached us to ask to check our ID (which is understandable because we are 21 but look17), then a short middle aged woman came round from behind the bar, pushed her way through people to point at us (yes, point. How rude), and rudely remarked “you better take that hat off if you want to stay in here” then scuttled off. This lady clearly has zero communication and customer service skills, i feel like “please are you able to remove your hat” would have sufficed, minus the pointing as well.. politeness goes a long way.

We went to see the brilliant Ray Harryhausen exhibit. The exhibit, while small at only two rooms, was excellent and contained several models from well known films (including a skeleton from Jason and the Argonauts!) and also models and concept art from several unproduced works, including "Force of the Trojans", which would have come after "Clash of the Titans". The is also a nice cafe and a shop to buy some great RH merch. A must see for fans!
Lovely performance arts centre. Waterside Arts Centre is a canalside arts complex, hosting touring theatre, music, comedy and art, with family activities. We went to see the fabulous Martin Simpson play a solo English folk music set. Small cafe area for drinks and refreshments was welcomed.
Have been many times and enjoyed the comedy plays and music. Rock on the chilli pipers . AC/DC lookie likeie. Brilliant. Also recently funny stuff by the Brilliant Sue Ryding ( lip service) oh how they are missed . But boy they brought so many happy nights to us and friends.
Lovely venue, well stocked bar, proper coffee and cake! Lovely little shop and also exhibitions to visit. Parking nearby was easy too as free in the evenings.
A lovely space for performers. We’ve just watched a superb one man play called Happy Hour with Jonathan Brown - I am so pleased to see Waterside offering space for this supremely talented individual with his writing and performance. More of this please!! 10/10!! This is exactly what the world wants - Local buildings showcasing world class talent with wonderfully affordable tickets!
You can get a voucher to put towards your parking if you've parked in the NCP multi-storey - this isn't something I was made aware of! The centre itself is lovely, bright, airy, and clean. The seats in the theatre aren't the comfiest ever, but could be worse and legroom was okay. Had a great evening with Hester Grainger, and would happily go back for another event.
Great venue for gigs. Reminds me of a mini Manchester academy. Will definitely watch more bands here. Beer prices 4.70
Visited to see the Postman Pat exhibition, absolutely brilliant, it's only a small collection but it is amazing to see it. Reminiscing on my childhood of watching the TV show as a child. The exhibition is free to visit, there is a recommended donation of £1, which I happily put in the donation box.

A fantastic venue with a difference! Had our son's birthday party here, everyone loved the place, the sofas, pool table, darts, music all for a different fun evening. All ages loved it. Thanks to Janette, Zack & staff who were so helpful giving advice to organise and superb on the night. Highly recommend!
Great venue especially for Manchester United games right next to the tram stop ideal for people going to the match. If you are watching it inside they have 13 big screens surround sound and they do food every match. Two pool tables, 3 dart board including and interactive board that have loads of fun games on it and you can play people all over the world. Friendly staff which always make you feel welcome. It’s also dog friendly which is a bonus not many places allow dogs in pubs anymore. Worth a trip for a pint or two.
Thanks for a brilliant party! Highly recommended venue for any party or event. -Very helpful and accommodating staff. -Good communication in the run up to the event -Attractive venue with good parking, disco lighting and integrated sound system you can play any songs on. -Amazing food made to our menu request, and great bar with delicious cocktails. -Bar and food staff polite and professional on the night All of our guests had a great time!
Had a really good night at my stepsons party in the venue room. Good size & plenty of seating.Staff were friendly & helpful. Had our own caterers. Parking was a little restricted but plenty of room nearby.
Good atmosphere for football. Landlord puts on good snacks for half time.
I was charged £2.50 here for a glass of soda water. I asked the barstaff if this was a mistake but they confirmed this to be correct. This is extortionate, and I don't think it's fair to charge this for fizzy water. I understand pubs need a mark up to make a profit but to charge that for a soda water is taking advantage of customers.
We recently held my daughters christening party at the Brooklands Tap and it was honestly fantastic! From start to finish, Zanete listened to all our requests and was so accommodating. We went for the sandwich buffet and our guests were raving about it! It was delicious and very generous. They were amazing with my two gluten free guests and as it was a christening party, were so caring to the many small children we had. The hired space is generous, beautifully decorated and super clean. I could not recommend it enough. We will definitely go there again for both a pint and for our next party. Thank you Zanete, Gabby, Steve and all your great staff.
A great place for a chat and a pint. Very friendly staff.

Really friendly and experienced staff and professional service. Helping me fix a shoulder issue l had lost all hope with- finally able to sleep without pain. Much more useful than any medical intervention so far - should have done this years ago and will carry on going- forever!!!🙂
Had a Thai massage with a focus on my shoulders. Following, I now have a range of movement in my shoulders that I haven’t had for a long time. A brilliant massage, would highly recommend.
Horrible experience. Zero customer service and extremely unprofessional - the masseuse barged into the room when I was changing demanding that we get ready and leave quickly because they had the next clients waiting. No knocking, nothing. When we asked the manager about it, she said if we aren't happy, don't come here again. Moreover the two masseuses were talking during the entire massage making it an extremely unrelaxing experience. They have an abrupt manner, don't seem to know what they are doing and don't respond to feedback well. Avoid this place and go to more qualified places.
🌟 Just had an amazing facial service at Unique Thai Massage and Spa, and I can’t recommend it enough! The treatment was fantastic, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. If you’re looking for a little self-care, this is the place to go! 💆‍♀️✨ #UniqueSalon #Facial #SelfCare #HighlyRecommended
I wanted to let everyone know that Nidnoi gives very professional massages. She always puts in the work and knows what she's doing 100%. I've tried many women, but this one is the best.Dorota
I booked 1hr hot coconut oil massage last minute on Sunday evening. Turned up on time and ladies at the reception were very polite. Paid £50 and was shown to my room by one of them. Room was clean and warm. Once I got ready I lied down and waited couple of minutes for the masseuse. Girl called Anna was very professional and polite. She spotted straight away my injured spots and worked with perfect amount of pressure and strength. I walked out in much better condition than I walked in. Definitely will be back again.
My first ever experience of the Thai Massage was booked with Unique Thai Massage on recommendation of trusted friend - couple of Thai massages (Special offer two for £75). Card payments accepted. I Like my massage strong and deep, this is what I requested at the beginning of session. My friend preferred midium strength massage. Nad was very attentive to requests for altering pressure for my friend. I wanted to experience the "full monty" Thai Massage and absolutely loved every second of it. Feeling so much better after the session and followed the recommendation of the Miayh to help me prolong the benefits of the session. Will be back for more in a heart bit! Highly recommended!
I have been in pain for weeks with a trapped nerve in my back and affecting my neck. I call them for a last minute booking, went 15min after my call. They were very welcoming. The room was very nice, the smell helps you to relax as you enter the door, then the hot bed tells you you're in for a treat. Mele did a deep tissue massage which was amazing I feel 90% back to normal. Considering this pain has been going for weeks and impacting my work, sleep, etc. I'm super happy with the treatment

We had an awesome time at Minikin for our dads 80th birthday. We did the paint a pot party and it was lovely to sit down as a family (ages 4 all the way up to 80) and get creative! We'll all have a unique memento of a special weekend together. Claire was brilliant and so helpful. Cannot wait to see how they all come out after they've been in the kiln :) Highly recommend.
We had my daughter's 5th birthday at Minikin. It was brilliant, the kids all had a lovely time and it's a really beautiful space. Claire, the owner, was amazing. She was great with the kids and the party was really well organised. It was a really positive, stress free experience.
Lovely visit to this cute pottery cafe. We took a while to complete our creations but Claire was so kind and let us come back to finish them! We will definitely be back ☺️
We had the most amazing party at minikin for a joint 6 year old party. Everything was planned to perfection, just had to sit back and relax, it was lively, Claire is the most amazing host. Would highly recommend and will be returning soon
Claire is an absolute star. I work for an autism charity and took one of our groups for pottery painting. They absolutely loved it. It’s a really relaxing environment and Claire is amazing, attentive, and runs a safe space for all to express their creativity. Would definitely recommend.
I love paint a pot. This is the best one I’ve ever been to. The lovely Claire sat with me and my mum and gave us ideas and tips. The atmosphere was so lovely. And it was super therapeutic. If I could live here I so would. Thank you.
We all had a wonderful time. The booking a table in advance was great . The staff were very helpful and patient with my 1 year old and two year old grandchildren . The place is lovely bright and clean with plenty of space . I would definitely come back again .
This was my second visit and it was just as good as my first! Claire is super friendly and accommodating. I really enjoy my visits here and will be back!

A fantastic place to go to unwind and chill. An amazing range of different things to paint, while you eat great tasty food and drink the wonderful hot chocolate with all the trimmings. Great for those with kids during the holidays, but those with no little people its best to go during school time, you might the place to yourself like us for a while A+
Absolutely amazing experience, the staff the drinks and the vibes I could spend all day here so therapeutic. Cant wait to come back to this lovey place 🤍 Variety of things to choose from a good range of prices. Paints are easy to access and numbered to see the colours from the piece of paper given. Table service. Wish I could spend more time I feel the time flew by, especially when you pick the bigger things to paint 🎨
We had a lovely time, the staff are all so nice and attentive. We didn’t have food but we had a hot drink which came super fast. So many pots and things to choose from, and great paint selection too. I will definitely be back again some time.
Came here for an evening session and had the best time. The staff were friendly and informative. We were shocked by the huge range of pottery to pick from and also the colours. It was BYOB but they had a cheap soft drink menu and small evening food menu including nachos. Only downside is that we all struggled to find the café but none of us are from Sale tbf!
Loved every min of our time there, so relaxing and able to spend time with my older children. Food was amazing and also the drinks, we enjoyed that much we try to attend as much as we can .
We had a lovely time painting pots for my colleagues baby shower. The staff were very attentive and answered lots of questions we had about how things worked, how to paint the pots and then paying and collecting items. The atmosphere was lovely, and drinks very nice, we did not have food. A great morning :)
Such a cute setting inside, was nice and cosy which was perfect considering the cold weather. Large variety of pottery to select and staff were lovely and very helpful and informative. Coffee and drinks were delicious and so were the nachos!! Would definitely recommend paying a visit!
I love love love this place!! I've been 3 times and I don't have young children!! Don't assume it's just for kids, I've been with my adult children and have enjoyed it immensely. You just get lost in your own creative world, it's so much fun. The food is really great quality too, I had a tuna baguette with wedges on my first visit and was really impressed with it.

One of the best traditional pubs left in the town centre. Excellent bar staff & friendly customers. Comfortable seating areas upstairs & below I would definitely recommend a visit to have a pint or two.
Great pub with good beer selection tucked away off the main streets. Top notch atmosphere for some chilled drinks. Staff are friendly and provide an excellent service and prices are very reasonable.
Old style boozer in the heart of Manchester. And in the age of wine bars, cocktail bars and craft breweries, unfortunately there aren't many of those left. That's partly what makes it great, but the staff are great, too! A decent selection of beer with fair prices. And on warm evenings, spill out on the street and soak up the atmosphere. I love places like this and will come back in my next visit to Manchester!
A proper Manchester pub next to a Spoons and The City Arms. Paulicarus making his first visit. I mostly drink in the City Arms due to the bigger real ale selection but have been here a few times. Three real ales. I had a pint of Ossett White Rat. A super 4% Pale. Split over 3 levels. Drinkers also spill outside onto the road where City Arms and Vine customers mingle. ( Not so much Spoons as few people use the Waterhouse rear door.)
Lovely-looking pub and the pint was decent but the service was absolutely shocking. From the minute we walked in, we were met with eye rolls and bad attitude like we were an inconvenience just for ordering a drink. Genuinely felt like they’d rather be closed. Wish I’d said never mind and left, easily the worst customer service I’ve had in years.
Loved this pub. Looks like a tiny pub at first but lots of seating as you go up or down a couple of steps.
Why go here. Its an old fashioned pub, No frills no gimmicks just a great place. what you see is what you get. amazing staff you can have a laugh with. Beer at realistic prices. If you have never been then you have to go thats all im saying
Stopped in multiples times while in town- James and the gal behind the bar pour a perfect Guinness so make sure you have at least three!

I can definitely recommend investing money and time to have the treatments that are available at this clinic. Phil is very knowledgeable and passionate about the treatments , rightly so as they work. Over the last two years I have had lot to deal with including menopause acne and a family bereavement. My skin and emotional wellbeing have both improved by having the collagen and microdermabrasion treatments but also because Phil has a great empathy with his clients.
Phil was really professional. Excellent face lift treatment it really worked for me. I am suffering from jaw pain and really want something that can help ease the pain, so I have tried this treatment. I had a relaxed few days without any pain after the first session. Phil was very professional and gave me the time I wanted would definitely recommend him to family and friends. I am lucky that I have found this treatment and Phil as he is very experienced.
I had my teeth whitened I love them they came up about 4 shades whiter. I also had the cologne face lift I was stunned by the result. Phil is adorable, professional, open, warm and kind made me feel a ease and such a relaxing experience I am 100% going to visit him again and tell all my friends
I have been visiting Phil for 2 years - I discovered his amazing clinic just before my daughter’s wedding and have been making the most of his services ever since. It is the most relaxing hour of my month where you can totally chill or comfortably chat throughout. I enjoy the Perfector non surgical facelift and all my deep wrinkles have disappeared and my chin and neck have become youthful again! Wish I’d discovered Phil years ago!! Highly recommend to everyone- my 20 year old daughter has also taken advantage of his advice and services!
Absolutely brilliant clinic !! I’ve been going to Moss Bank Clinic for nearly a year now and I’m super happy with the products. The clinic is really clean and you are made to feel so welcome. Phil explains everything to you before hand, to make sure it’s the right product for you. I’ve be been having Arasys and Perfector, which are both fabulous. However there’s loads of other treatments that Phil offers as well, so he is flexible to peoples skin type. Thanks Phil, so glad I found you x x
Exceptional treatment received from Phil who has extensive knowledge of treatment provided as well as experience in all skincare treatments. The perfector skin treatment is well worthwhile and makes my skin feel so much firmer and healthier. I would highly recommend.
After having a couple of treatments at Moss Bank Clinic with Phil I was that pleased with the results and experience I purchased a course of 10. Phil is very professional. He makes you feel relaxed and you come away refreshed and looking forward to your next appointment. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Liz
Highly professional , extremely friendly service. I am instantly put at ease on arrival and always delighted with the results at the end. My skin is glowing and feels rejuvenated .... I would never go anywhere else now! Philip is extremely skilled, professional and nurturing and the treatments are so reasonable. I love Moss Bank! ❤️ I’ve recently had a course of the new Collagen Lift Professional with Philip at Moss Bank Clinic…… wow!! I can honestly say I was blown away from start to finish! Not only was it incredibly relaxing , my skin and the contour of my face has never looked or felt so good. I will be returning 100% as I came away each time feeling and looking so rejuvenated. This treatment is wonderful … Thankyou Philip so much ❤️x

A beautiful pub. Well equipped with pool and dart board. Good ambience. Good space for parking. Overall a good pub
Me and a group of friends came in as we saw an advertisement regarding a dj on Saturdays, it was a very fun night , there was a mixture of music for everyone to enjoy. I’d like to thank Ben for making the night memorable and enjoyable . Will definitely be returning :)
The food was Beautiful very well served, the service was exceptional Very kind bunch of people would definitely recommend coming here!
Great bar staff Really good Saturday night entertainment where nobody gets left out everybody’s involved!
Sahara the bar staff is totally amazing! Ben was dj’ing and kept the party going all night! Great pub
Been going in the carters for 17 years, great atmosphere and good crack. Played pool for this pub for 7 years and we recently won the sale and Altrincham first division title and will be playing in the premiership next year. We always get a few in on home games and get a good support off the regulars. Proud to be part of this pub, known to pour the best pint of Stella in Trafford. Keep up the good work Craig 👍🏻 Davo
Great entertainment, great bar staff all round a good pub. Especially after refurbishment
Great atmosphere, service is great and Ben played some great tunes

We went to see Santa in the church hall on Saturday and it was the best Santa experience we'd ever had. He spent ages with my child and was really attentive. Took lots of photos and videos. Only £5 for the event which included numerous crafts (and supplies!). Such lovely people hence we went to the church service the following day for the first time and felt most welcome. We were well looked after by Clive and all the other attendees. Definitely recommend St Paul's.
Great VE service on Sunday, I played the last post and it went very well.
Nice church ⛪ very close to water canal, ideal place to relax or for a short walk 👍
I came across this church by chance on Good Friday, cycling along the canal path. I was delighted to see that they were holding an in person service. It was so nice to observe Good Friday among people after so long in physical isolation (if not spiritual isolation). Many thanks for the warm welcome there, as I wait for my usual church to return to in person services :)
Lovely traditional church hosted a Chinese orchestra as part of the Chinese New year celebrations. Beautiful music brought two cultures together in an I testing way. Musicians offered opportunities to play their instruments and talk about the music afterwards. Lots of overflow parking offered at next door school.
Went to the Church on Christmas eve at 5pm and it was amazing, I had a wonderful time thank you to all concerned
Love the sound of church bells.
This church is beautiful, and so are the bells that strike every fifteen minutes.

Nice pub, screens in everyroom so great for football and sport. They have done a good job of the refurbishment. Proper pub! Staff are friendly. Live music. Quiz on Thursday's (we'll be back for that) One thing though... the dartboard has gone from the games room. It's perfect for darts as well. The carpet acting as an oche is still there. I'll give it 5 star if the dartboard comes back 😀 Edit, dartboard is back with ring lighting. Extra star added👍.
Not been here for years, was expecting a sticky carpet, dingy dark interior but no... as we entered we were greeted by a lovely smiley bar lady and the interior although mostly grey was tasteful and relaxing. We were told the fire had been lit in one of the comfortable front rooms. We went and sat in the other front room to avoid disturbing the gentleman who was in the fire room. I had a non alco San Miguel and my wife had a glass of wine. Hope the pub gets more clientele later on as it deserves to be populated and with so many nooks and crannies I can imagine it would create a nice atmosphere.
Just come into have a look at the recent renovation its been more years than I care to mention since I've been here. It's really well done and I must say a nice place to visit we looked at the menu which has a good selection and although we did not eat on this occasion we will definitely be back. Have to say they pour a good pint of Guinness.
Great atmosphere. Great staff. Excellent service and a fantastic ambience with an amazing Irish Welcome. Would recommend for a quickie after shopping or a great night out. X
Been in a few times since it has re-opened and it is belting, not many places like this left, plenty of rooms, plenty of screens, beer garden is a real suntrap and the atmosphere is great, staff are friendly and it's good to have the Railway back open, ate here for the first time today and can't recommend the Pizza's enough, proper wood fired oven makes all the difference. Get yourselves in!
What a fantastic little pub old style don't expect a party just loved the place . Not busy when we were there but loved it non the less
Really like this protected pub but it's in a traditional industrial area turned into a retail park so doesn't get the custom it deserves...dog friendly though personally I'm not a dog fan
Went in a few years ago, everybody ground to a halt and stared. However, put 50p in the slot and things started up again. Quick pint-stop during a stag do, watched over by strange photos of large balding man in tight knickers. An experience.
