One of great ways to spend your whole day in the nature, with gondola ride and zip lining. It’s a great place specially for kids, there are lots of games for kids and a nice short 4d movie theatre!
Go for the walk up, ride down option. No dogs allowed on the path, so my wife took our dog on the path below and met us at the other end. The Baumwipfelpfad itself is nice enough, not sure it’s entirely worth the fee. The rest of the hike up to Burgberg was was enough, great for our 4 and 6 year old.
If you are not scared of heights, you will love this place. You walk among the treetops
Get a combi ticket along with cable car. Nice walk from top of the hill to this place. Kids love it. Also it has informational facts written on the board about nature, dinosaurs etc. to engage kids and grown ups too.
Very nice experience, we took the Bergbahn and reached the ride to the top, the cable car ride was like 3 to 5 minutes. On top you can enjoy the snow and being on top with nice scenary and of course there's a restaurant where you can have hot drinks and food. We had a lovely lunch. The staff was so friendly. We enjoyed the experience. You can buy a ticket only for the ride or add the treetop walk to it too and whatever else is available depends on the season.
Great walk for the whole family!
The ride in the cable car to the top and the Zipline back down was fun. However, the waiting time for your turn was a lot. We had to wait 45 mins for the cable car (lasted 3mins) and close to 1hr for the Zipline (lasted 6mins). The queue for the tickets wasn't too long, it was just the waiting time for your turn that took a while.
I had a lot of expectations for this, but I wasn't very happy of the experience overall, because the path is very short and it's expensive to get on top. You can literally have a walk in the forest for free and get the same views. During the winter, the cable car is closed which is the main highlight of this place I would say. In my opinion it is not worth it to visit this place just for the tree path

Must visit while you are in bad harzburg. Also its near the main road, you can spend 3-4 hours easily while on your way to other cities. Parking: Enough space available next to the park and also on other side of the road. (50 cents for 30mins)
Convenient transport to go up higher. For adults 5 euros round trip, but my husband and I took only there for 3.50 to walk back. Only two carriages so you have to wait in a queue first for tickets and then for the cable car itself. But it's nice.
A bit of an adventure to more modern cable railways but the staff is friendly and it's a quick way to get up or down.
We waited 1.5 hours in a queue on Sunday. It is an old fashioned lift with a low throughput, not enough for so many people.
Very nice ride. The tree tower had a glass floor which makes me shiver.
A nice and not so expensive place if you want see the top view and hike down or just go enjoy the view and come down.
Short ride up with the cable car. The view from the top is good, but not great, and the walk back is not worth writing about. However, we can recommend buying the combo-ticket, so you can walk on the Baumwipfelfad on your way back.
The Burgberg Cable Car was built in 1929 by the Bleichert engineering corporation and has a length of 481 metres. Up to 18 people per gondola lift the cable car to the summit in three minutes and for a minimal fee is much easier than hiking up to the summit. You will have an impressive view of Bad Harzburg, the surrounding mountains and the vast Harz foothills. Although I am not a fan of heights, I enjoyed the ride. Cheers!

Beautiful area . Well worth a visit. Look carefully in the Lynx cage. We missed the Lynx the first time, and after talking to other people, they showed us where they were. Perfectly camouflaged animals and larger than I thought they would be
Very interesting to visit
The lynx was successfully re-introduced to the Harz in 1999. Here some captive lynx can be seen inside an enclosure, plodding up and down along the fence.

Really interesting place, very interactive mas educational. Warm and kind staff. I totally recommend this place.
A very limited array of attractions, but good for a distraction for bored children.
(Translated by Google) Wow, what a beautiful, interactive exhibition! I particularly liked that the children were able to explore the exhibition completely on their own. This means that everyone can go through the exhibition at their own pace. I find the accessibility and the cost factor particularly worth mentioning (children free, adults €5, with a guest card even just €2.50). So it is really possible for almost every family to view this wonderful exhibition. We managed the exhibition very well in 1.5 hours.
(Translated by Google) Rather small on the outside, and also on the inside, but full of information. And it's packaged really coolly. For me, the House of Nature is one of the best exhibitions I've seen. It's well-presented for children, and adults also walk away with information they probably didn't know. Actually, it was a substitution for our family because it had been raining terribly. But we would have really missed out. Highly recommended, and great praise goes to the museum educators who set up this exhibition. And last but not least, a big thank you to the friendly waitress who made it perfect for the 18 of us. Thank you! Danke!
(Translated by Google) Nice little exhibition, but I found it quite chilly - maybe it's better to keep your jackets on.

Lovely nine-hole, originally. Expansion into the race track (four holes) slightly uninspiring. Lovely views, though, superb greens and exceptionally friendly members and staff!!
Somewhat disappointing. The course is split into three sections or loops which means players "cut in" and can slow play which is frustrating. One of the loops shares space with a horse race track which is odd. There are some nice views of the surrounding countryside but the only holes that stayed in my memory was the par 3 2nd hole and the aproach to the 17th over water. At 50 Euros for a mid week round it is not cheap. There is little competition in the area so golf fans have limited options! If you are in the area, it's a decent round but I wouldn't recommend travelling distance specifically to play here. A one-off for me.
Beautiful place, we had a lot of fun golfing here! Would visit again!
I wasn’t very well treated by personal.
(Translated by Google) Very nice facility and super friendly staff. Some of the rides are very tricky…including ride 3 (the only one I didn't like). Very well maintained. If there were an EV charging station, it would be perfect. (Original) Sehr schöne Anlage und super nettes Personal. Manche Bahnen sehr tricky…u.a.
(Translated by Google) A truly beautiful golf course that I can absolutely recommend! I played a round here yesterday, my son was with me as my caddy, and we had a blast. The course is beautifully situated, a little oasis to unwind, and very varied. The fairways are well-maintained, the greens soft and medium-fast – overall, it's in very good condition. The fairways run parallel, but are slightly separated by trees. If you keep your game straight, you'll have no trouble managing it – that worked out perfectly for me yesterday. There are also several huts on the course that offer shelter from the rain, which we unfortunately had to use twice. Tee-time bookings via PCCADDY aren't possible here, as the course isn't listed there. According to the friendly members we spoke to, this isn't a problem, as the course is usually not overcrowded. The driving range is only equipped with mats and is rather short for long hitters – you can leave your driver in your bag here. Balls are easily available from the machine (36 balls for €2). There are ample parking spaces. The reception at the shop was prompt, and Golfamore was accepted without any problems. Perhaps a little smile would have made the start even smoother – but that's just a minor thing and could certainly be improved. After the round, we used the changing rooms and showers: clean, tidy, and a comfortable size. Bringing your own towel is recommended here. Unfortunately, we were only able to play 9 holes this time because maintenance work and an external event were taking place at the same time. We didn't try the catering due to time constraints, but we'll do that next time. All in all: a very beautiful and relaxing course that we would love to play again!

(Translated by Google) The architecture of churches in general is impressive. I would rate the Luther Church in Bad Harzburg as a small, but no less beautiful church. Amazing restaurant , great service, great people
Great location, good food and a good variety of drinks. One of the nice restaurants in the Harz forest.
Restaurant with beautiful views of the mountains. This aspect is a must experience. Food was delicious and served in large portions, not too expensive considering it is the only restaurant in the middle of a tourist area. Vegetarian options are limited. Payment only by cash.

This place is quite lovely! All attractions are old, but they make this park cozy for kids. We spent almost the whole day there, and it was quite hard to take my daughter home from there😂 It is not a Disney land, but the price is low, so you should manage your expectations.
We decided to give it a try despite the 2.9-star review. It turned out to be worse than I expected. They don’t even seem to try! For example, they hadn’t cleaned the filthy, moldy bread piece from the toy train, they hadn’t replaced the burned-out bulb in the exhibition area, and there was a giant hole in the bouncy castle. My child started crying in the miniature area because of the dim lighting and ominous music. My friend even joked that it should be renamed ‘DDR Park. In conclusion, not worth to visit if u have anything else to do
Don’t come here. The park is not maintained and half of the attractions are broken.
Fun place, especially to feed the goats :) but it's old and everything is falling apart. Although the restaurant is new and so is the playground, but the rest is very old. Rapunzel even had a broken arm.
German fairy tales are most likely the darkest and most disturbing. Therefore it comes as no surprise that this little theme park might be too twisted for children at least to some extent. The horror begins when you have tobpay the ridiculously overpriced entrance fee. They don't accept any payments by card, a quite Common thing in Germany. Once you've entered you're welcomed by a model display of the Harz mountains. Don't press any buttons because the model railways don't work but instead some creepy creatures that will scare the s*** out of your little ones and you. And it gets worse. Just pass by the fairy tale displays unless you want to make your children cry. There're some rides and attractions but most of them are in a bad condition and may pose a risk to your children. My daughter loved the bouncy castle which seemed to be quite new and the petting zoo. There's definitely some room for improvement with regard to the cleanliness of the petting zoo areas. We won't go there again and I wouldn't recommend the fairy tale theme park either.
1. Train is not running by default. You have to explicitly request someone to fix it. 2. There is nothing for adults here, still they have to pay eur 6 and eur 7 for kids. 3. After 30min, kids run out of all options. It is not interesting. Instead go to public park 300mts away, that is free better than this one. I regret to give negative comment but this is what it is
Park needs some heaving maintenance, kids enjoyed the few attraction that were open, like the playground, feeding the goats. Not worth the 18 Euros in my opinion.
Nice little park, bit dated, but still loads of fun for the kids. Besides the fairy tale boxes, they also enjoyed the petting zoo, the playground, and the little train.
