Relaxing and peaceful spot! Hindad Hot Spring is a great place to unwind. The water is warm — perfect for soaking and relaxing. It’s clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by nature, which makes the experience even more calming. The entrance fee is very affordable. I recommend going in the early morning or late afternoon for a more peaceful vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Kanchanaburi! There are also some small shops outside where you can buy snacks or drinks, but don’t expect much conversation — the vendors aren’t very talkative.
Poorly maintain Not enough safety There other hot spring in other provinces that is free entry and better maintained Unless you are near this hot spring you may try it I traveled thousands of kilometres to experience different hot spring in Thailand 14 August 2025 Noted the homestay and resort there are over priced too.
Very nice experience and it’s easy to change clothing and shower over there. Hot spring was 41.5 degrees really enjoyed plunge in a few times and after taking a cold dip in the river.
A river and two hot water baths. Very popular with Thais. Nice wooded surroundings so a cool place to relax. Another government park with racist pricing.
Public hot springs. Good size pools to soak in and then slip out and slip right into the river beside you to cool down. Basic shower, changing rooms and a very cool little coffee shop in the parking place. I recommend both.
Hot springs Thai style. There are 3 hot springs from the least hot the shallow one kids can enjoy here to the hottest one which is around 42 degree Celsius. The hot springs also nearby the cold stream. There are plenty of shower rooms for cleaning/ dressing up after you finish.
Nice hot spring. Mainly locals here so great place if you want to be away from busy touristy places.
This place is perfect!! Hot springs water, with 3 different pools for a variety of temperatures. 42c was the hottest. Right beside it is a small mountain stream to jump in after the hot soak. Huge trees provide shade over the whole park. I can't recommend this place enough.

Nice adventurous walk to the top of the mountain. Entrance to the nation park for camping or hiking is 200 per foreigner and extra 300 baht for a guide if you plan to do a hike. Really hard to climb up and down during the rainy season. But it will be fun.
The journey to Thong Pha Phum National Park is an experience in itself. The drive is challenging, with a curvy, narrow road that requires your full attention. We opted to skip the viewpoint on the way up, but we made sure to stop and enjoy the scenery on our way back down. This trip was part of a larger plan to visit Etok and Pilok villages, so staying at the park for a night felt like the safest option as a tourist, given its close proximity to the border. Upon arrival, I was excited to camp, but due to strong winds, the park staff wisely redirected me to the headquarters hall for safety. It was quite cold, but I appreciated their emphasis on safety over convenience. The campsite itself was very muddy and slippery, which led to a bad fall that, thankfully, wasn't a major injury. I had lunch at the park's restaurant, where the food was a good value for the price. I also had the pleasure of seeing a hornbill that seemed to be a regular visitor around the HQ area. I was hoping to see the famous sea of clouds at sunrise, but unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate. Despite missing out on that, the park is beautiful. However, a word of caution: the terrain is not ideal for children or older people, as it involves many steps and the ground can be uneven. The campsite spaces are also small for large tents, and parking is limited. I noticed some ongoing construction, but I'm not sure what it's for. The waterfall worth the visit
One of the beautiful waterfalls of Thailand is located here. Tickets are needed to get entry. There is a small but well maintained path towards the waterfall. Kids and family friendly place. Swimming is prohibited. Very scenic place. Large parking space available. Definitely worth the visit
Excellent weather makes an outdoor excursion worth it and this place is no exception. Beautiful nature, clean air, and the overall peacefulness was great. The restaurant inside was อร่อย as well.
Very nice place. The beautifully bird very welcome us.
The most recognisable trekking destination; the razor-edge ridge! Only accepts 60 visitors a day during merely a few months a year starting around October to February. 7-day advance booking call has to be done. Regulations do change from year-to-year. Consulting with local hikers or guides are highly recommended. P.s. if you have a 360-view camera, bring it with you!
Great destination if you to have a challenging hike. It’s really hard to do the hike if it’s raining. So many leeches. Many people do campaign here.
If you are Tazan type kinda person you definitely chose the Tree house. In the middle of the night there was a rat and squirrel visiting my house LOL. The view of the great mountain are just in front of your door. Give it a try.

This waterfall is amazing, exceeding expectations with lots of fish swimming in the crystal-clear water. A must-go when visiting Pilok. The 3-km route descending to the waterfall is quite steep, please drive carefully in low gear.
I didn't expect to be so impressed by Jokkradin Waterfall. It wasn't on my original itinerary, but while staying at Thong Pha Phum, I saw a photo in the park hall and figured, "Why not?" It turned out to be one of the best last-minute decisions of my trip. The walk from the entrance is incredibly short, maybe only 300 or 400 meters, and it leads you to a breathtakingly powerful waterfall. The cool breeze and mist are so refreshing, and the sound of the water is incredible. There's a park officer at the site, and since I had already paid for my park ticket, it was an easy entry. Just a heads-up: there are no toilets inside the waterfall area, so use the washrooms at the park entrance before you go in. You can also grab a snack from the food stalls outside. I do need to mention the road conditions—they are rough. I'd strongly advise against taking a lowered sedan because of all the potholes; my rental car got a few scratches along the way. If you find yourself near Thong Pha Phum, don't miss this beautiful and easily accessible spot.
Chokkradin or Jokkradin Waterfall is a small waterfall located in the Thong Pha Phum National Park. Entrance fee is 30 Baht. As it is not a big falls, and also this is not a wet seasons, the noise of the falls is not deafening. One can bring your picnic chairs to chill by it, soaking your feet in the shallows and let the invisible fishes to nibble of your dead skins. The road leading to here is just a few km, but is steep, curvy and narrow. Skillful driving is needed.
The tourist spot that worth a visit. Scenic waterfall and super clear mineral water. This aeea was an old tin mine. The surface mining remove the hill and open way to the waterfall. Small car accessible but need very careful attention and a bit of skill driver.
I'll start by saying I hate the dual pricing. Especially when it's such a short distance to the น้ำตก, but the ticket also gets you into the nearby national park, so that's nice. This น้ำตก is stunningly beautiful, though. My timing was excellent as the weather was wonderful. The drive is a bit treacherous, but it's an adventure.
Beautiful waterfall near Pilok. It's definitely a must visit in the area. The waterfall is very big and there's a pool below the waterfall, where people can swim and take pictures. The trail from the parking lot to the waterfall is very beautiful too. You'll walk over a bridge and through nature. Plenty of opportunities to take pictures along the trail too.
Jokkradin Waterfall is in Thong Pha Phum National Park about 5 km from Baan E-Tong. From the entrance (which if you have't visited Thong Pha Phum National Park before, you have to pay for a fee here) needs 3 km of walks to the waterfall. Anyway, the road to the waterfall is curvy and steep so please drive carefully. And I think it’s quite risky to go to the site during the rainy season. Note: Jok or Gok in Myanmar means stone and kradin or kradan means waterfall so Jokkradin or Gokkradan means a waterfall flowing over rock cliffs. #etongpilok #jokkradinwaterfall #waterfall #thongphaphumnationalpark #thongphaphum #kanchanaburi #thailand
Very beautiful place and highly recommend to go. However the resting place was quite small but many small places to play the water. They dont allow food to bring in place and that is one reason thus place us still good. Water bottle is ok dont worry though. The sun will fall behind the cliff that is good to go even the mid of the day. There were small number of bins. There was dust strom when the wind blow or cars run too fast.

Up, up and above for only 8K to meet the majestic white elephant ! You only need 3 days and 2 nights to enjoy this hike from Bangkok. The first night will be spent at the lovely, tiny E - Tong Village ( about 5-6 hrs drive from Bangkok or 2-hrs drive from Thong Pa Phum National Park HQ) to prepare for the hike the following morning. The hike will start at around 8 a.m. and you will have a rest around 11 a.m. You will then resume the knife-edge climb around 3:00–3:30 p.m. to catch the sunset. Here are the keywords to resonate the true essence of the journey: 399 curves 〰️🚙 Charming hillside village 🏕 Golden prairie 🍂🌾 Rocky terrain🪨 Tiny florals🌼🦋 Sunset knife edge climb 🗻🪦⚰️ Conqueror peak 🚩 Super windy campsite 🌪 Smoggy PM 2.5 Biodegradable toilet 💩🌏 Human dignity 🫡🙏🏻, with my total respect to all the porters
This is a picture perfect hike where you walk along the mountain peaks bordering Thailand and Myanmar. It needs booking through Thong Pha Phum national park office. It is an overnight camping trip. It is a fairly simple walk for 6.5km then a steep hike/ climb for 1.5km. There is no shops so you must bring everthing you need. Again this is Thailand, if you lack something someone will offer assistance. Booking is in Thai language so make a Thai friend. ^_^
Beautiful mountain. Nice place for hiking. Suitable for rookie.
The mountains are calling and I must go. About 6.75 km trekking to base camp 2-3 hours trek not too difficult and not too easy. Very impressive experience here and a memorable time. Good weather in December and very strong wind at night, but with awesome Mountain View.
The route from the starting point to the camping space is not that steep. However, from the camping space to the highest point is a little bit tempting but with the help from the forestry officer it safe to climbing. The view is worthy.
The great place for camping, climbing and adventure. Good view, Good experience.
It is great experience in our life to visit there. Short trail but abyss in both side when you walk to Knife mountain. A must visit!
If you like hiking, must go.

This temple is great for the views, but it is the people that make me want to come back. I stayed here for three days and everyone was super friendly. I was the only foreigner actually staying within the temple and the people made sure that I was comfortable for this reason. Not only did they go out of their way to give me extra food (the last of the chicken wings and the crabstick sandwiches), but a few people went a little further and showed admiration by acknowledging my bravery. I don't speak much Thai, and understand even less, but that wasn't a problem. Those that were able to communicate with me made sure to do so. And when I was unsure of what page we were on during one of the services, a complete stranger took notice and assisted me with no words at all. The ONLY thing uncomfortable about my stay was trying to sit indian-style at the age of 33. Everything else was an ease.
Beautiful temple area, very peaceful and quiet. Climb up the nearby mountain to get a great view and reach the beautiful gold chedi and huge gold Buddha
This temple is responsible for 2 separate hikes to viewpoints, one either side of the road. Close to the temple is Chedi Phuttha Chethiya Khiri Wat Tha Khanun which has about 250 steps to climb to the top. On the other side of the main road about 500m away is the buddha's footprint which I guess is 1000+ steps (this one starts in between the running track/football pitch and the cement factory). Both have very impressive views.
You can find cool wire-rope bridge near temple, very beautiful natural river is so close, don't forget to visit it when you're there
Hundred step to enjoy top view of Thongphapoom city. Need some exercise before go up.
Very cool. Excellent view if you want to hike to the top
This is an important temple which located in Kanchanaburi in Thongphapoom district that we called "Wat Tha Ka-Nun".
The temple worth visiting and paying respect. There’re also pagoda on the top of mountain to visit.
