Worth a visit! This is a place to be informed about sea life, whales, turtles and all kind of fishes and corals. There is a lot of information displayed, too. You find many aquariums with the most impressive glass tunnel where you can see sharks, rays and other big fishes next to you, above and underneath. Another awesome place is to be informed about humpback whales. Don’t miss the 3D cinema thinking you’re under water next to the whales. You easily can spend 3h here to enjoy your time!
The Maui Ocean Center was a great experience. I went with my sisters and niece. Kama'aina discount $29 adult regular price is in the $50 range as of October 2025. We stopped at the little "pools" where you can see many different types of ocena life. While they do have one where you can touch, I don't recommend that personally out of concern for the sea life, so we just look. Loved the underwater tunnel with all the sharks and fish and even the guy cleaning the tunnel in his dive gear. I suggest you take the time to enjoy the 3d experience which in October featured the humpback whales. No payment required for the 3d glasses! We had already eaten so we didnt get anything to eat. Many great exhibits and very educational. This is great for families with kids. Wear comfortable shoes and a lot is outside so take that I to consideration for clothing and sunscreen etc.
We were lucky enough to take a Behind the Scenes tour of the center, then spent time looking at all of the exhibits. It was amazing seeing all the conservation efforts at this facility. Staff was incredible, knowledgeable and engaging. It was pricey but I would do it again and again. If you have little ones, it's very conducive to entertaining kids.
Going during the week was a perfect time, plus we went after lunch, so some of the morning crowd was gone. The Center is a good size, not too big, not too small. There is something for everyone. We met a fairly new staff person, McKenna. She was delightful and knowledgeable. You have to pay for parking now, how much depends on how many hours you plan to stay.
we LOVED the aquarium. It has so many fish. The grounds and exhibits were clean. Perfect amount of walking for small kids. They also have a cool 3-D theater that the kids really enjoyed. We normally try to avoid gift shops, but The gift shop was wonderful and it seemed fairly priced with some very cool Hawaiian gifts. Very large selection. $50+ per person was not cheap and have to pay for parking but it was worth the visit. $5 cheaper if you buy day before online.
This is one of the best aquarium I have ever been! So clean and so well maintained ! There are not many people when we visited which makes the experience better! The water tunnel is a a highlight with Diver John doing lectures while diving in the water with a group of fish and sharks swimming around him! Isn’t that amazing ! What a brave man he is!
This was awesome. Never been this close to a green sea turtle and they act really friendly. There was a lot of information to be had and tons of beautiful exhibits. The humpback whale 3d sphere was really cool as well. Great sound and film quality. Very engaging. Totally worth it and not even that expensive.
If you love marine life, the Maui Ocean Center is a must-visit. Sure, it’s a bit pricey, but the money goes toward keeping the place running and helping ocean animals, so it feels worth it. You’ll see turtles, lots of sharks, countless fish, and colorful corals—basically an entire underwater world in one spot. The real showstopper is the Whale Sphere Theater. It’s a super immersive experience that makes you feel like you’re swimming alongside humpback whales—it’s fascinating and unforgettable. Just a heads-up: the food there is expensive, so plan accordingly. But if you’re there to explore the ocean and its incredible creatures, this place is hard to beat.

Beautiful walk with stunning scenery! Just a heads-up—there’s no cell reception, so make sure to reserve ahead of time before heading up. Be sure to wear proper walking shoes, and bring swimwear if you’re thinking about taking a dip. Definitely worth the visit!
Overall the view is breath taking and amazing. We came here in the morning and bought the 1st time slot (07:00 - 08:30). Parking was super easy and because it was early in the morning, the temperature was much cooler and comfortable. The only downside about this place is the trails are way too short and a lot of areas were closed to the public. It took us about 25 minutes to walk the entire area that is open to the public. Un-usually small for a state park.
Nice quick hike and there is a spot for a cool dip in the stream with a rope swing from the tree. About 4 foot depth so risky but if you have good Medicare just giver!
It's a beautiful hike. Stay away from the do past this sign. I saw several local teenagers passing the signs. Whet many percent don't realize the danger they put themselves in. Flashflooing is an issue not to tripled with. You don't know ow if there's a rainstorm in the mountains or the severely. One there's rain the mountain the Flashflooing is caused. It doesn't show up rite away. It takes time for the rivers in the .ountain to make it the the 4 lower rivers. Once the rivers are hit the flashflood you have put yourself in danger. Getting hit by the large bol Boulders and the immense volume of wather you cannot safe yourself.
Very cool to see and very easy to get to. Make sure you get a parking and entry pass ahead of time or on your way there. Parking is easy. Path way is easy. Lots of stairs to climb. You can se the needle from the parking lot you just get a better view from the lookout. Do it!!
Absolutely beautiful and worth the visit. However, the area that is open to explore is quite limited. Only takes around 30 minutes or less to walk the entire trail.
Beautiful views of the mountains and historic area. Lots of fruit trees and taro etc. that represent the plants grown back in the day. The main trail is easy, the beginning part is wheelchair/stroller accessible but you can't take it all the way. Therecare many other dirt paths throughout the bush and down to the river. Signsxsay don't pass but its normal for the locals to go play in the river etc. If you are not a resident then you'll need a reservation (parking fee and entry fee per person) You can do this on the parks website.
Very beautiful historical valley short hike up to the viewpoint, nice cool breeze in November. Definitely recommend this place.

This was our second visit- first was two years ago. This was a great tour for seniors who may have somewhat limited mobility (cane). Our tour guide was great- lots of great information, funny jokes, and interesting personal stories. I wish the tour were just a few minutes longer because I am sure there were more interesting things to hear! We enjoyed the farm/gift shop and purchased several items there. The grounds were beautiful with lots of varied tropical plants, flowers, and trees as well as ponds and architectural details. Just a great place to spend a hot afternoon in the shade and breeze!
The Maui Tropical Plantation tour was amazing! My kids and I gained a lot of interesting information, especially about coconuts, thanks to our very knowledgeable guide. The 45-minute tour offers comfortable seating, though the walking area is limited. While a bit pricey, the huge shop makes up for it with a ton of gift, veggie, and fruit choices at good prices, and the staff are super friendly. Plus, the Maui Zipline Company is conveniently located right there!
Lunch at the restaurant was FANTASTIC! Great farmers market type store. Our tour guide was great. We did this instead of the pineapple tour, manly because we heard the restaurant was great, and it was, but also because it was 1/4 the price of the other. The other tour would probably be “better” but this one was well worth the $25 (instead of $95)!
Took a 40 minute tram tour around the plantation field/displays with lots of education about Hawaii's predominant crop development. Also current cultivated species. Was $25. Fun and interesting finds in gift shop. Good light lunch in on-site restaurant. Other activities possible here also. Worth the stop.
Beautiful spot to visit while in Maui! Walked around the plantation and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and lush scenery. Had breakfast at the café — everything was fresh and tasty. Also loved browsing the gift shop, which had a great selection of local products and souvenirs. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!
Very cool quick little tour. Ocean was our tour guide and she was a great mix of informative and funny. There were a few places to shop and a restaurant as well, but we didn't have time to look through them.
Top reason to choose this excursion over the rest is good Hospitality❣️ Nate, Seth and Pono are incredible Zipline guides, because they each embody their own respectful characteristics. As a Team, they lead their tour with ease as they prepare you for each jump. I got a crash course on learning how to become a monkey and their skill combined with hysterical spirit lifted my nerves on every jump. I didn’t think I was walking into a comedic experience, but I left the tropical plantation smiling. The hospitality that I received from them wasn’t directly to me, but what caught my heart was seeing how they treat Mothers and children. Boys are not easy to raise; I don’t have one..I have a little girl and she’s cake 🎂 sweet and easy to make. Yet, each instructor taught a son about respecting their mom; which is what money can’t buy… character development for children is not sold in stores. It’s thru elders and experiences and I could see in this teenagers 👀 he wanted to be just as cool as them. Each guide stood their ground on their rules and morals and it was outstanding. The plantation is sacred, so take your time enjoying the bright gardens and humongous trees while feeding the ducks 🦆 and when your feeling hungry 🤤 they have the answer for that too at their restaurants.
**“Oops! We accidentally walked halfway through the tram tour without paying — we were just too excited to see the sights! A security person noticed and followed us all the way out of the tour path. Please give us a break — it was totally unintentional 😅. Overall, it’s a really nice place to visit! Just a tip for the staff: maybe take it a little easy on the visitors 😉.”**

Views on views, this place has it all! We had a fantastic time at Circle M. We had several tour guides but the main one was Chase. He did a great job going through how to mount, ride and unmount to ensure everyone did it properly. Our group didn't have a single hick-up and all of the horses were very easy going and well behaved. The ride itself was fantastic, with various different areas to explore and amazing views to take in. If you're looking for a horseback riding excursion on Maui, Circle M Ranch is worth the drive for all ages!
Just Go Already! My daughters (11 and 12) absolutely loved our visit to Circle M Ranch today — and honestly, so did I! From start to finish, the staff was outstanding. Every wrangler we met was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful — some of the best I’ve ever encountered. Special shoutout to Don, Chase, and Bailey, and to the wonderful front desk staff (Trina, I think?) who helped make everything seamless. The horses were perfectly matched to our experience levels. My daughters are still beginners, but they felt safe and comfortable the entire time — especially thanks to the wrangler who rode with them and kept up fun conversation throughout the ride. The scenery was stunning, with plenty of interesting history sprinkled in, and it’s clear the horses are well cared for. You can also tell the new owners genuinely care about the ranch — they’re continually making improvements to both the facilities and the animals’ well-being, even though things are already in great shape. One of the most memorable parts of the day: the staff went above and beyond to give my mom (who recently broke her femur) a special experience. They arranged an ATV ride so she and my dad could relax at a gorgeous lookout point while the rest of us rode. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and so appreciated. The whole experience was more than worth the price and a quick 30-minute drive from Kihei. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re on Maui!
Definitely a must if you’re in Maui. The views are breathtaking! I took my 68yo mom and two teenage daughters, they all had a blast. Yes, the trails are steep at points but the horses were very well trained and handled them with no problem. As long as you have the ability to sit upright, you’ll be fine. The wranglers were all so attentive, polite and knowledgeable. It’s an experience we’ll do again the next time we visit Maui.
My husband and I visited Circle M Ranch for our honeymoon and we had the best time ever!! If you are visiting Maui this is a something to add to your itinerary! The ranch is so cute with all the animals and they the staff is super friendly! They go through all the safeties on how to properly get on the horse and how to direct your horse so if you have never rode before they will make sure you feel prepared! The best part of it all Is the views!!! The scenery you see when you horseback ride is unreal!!! Thank you Circle M Ranch staff for everything! My husband and i will remember this adventure!
My husband and I visited the ranch in late October 2025 and had a blast! First and foremost, I think it's important to mention that the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were patient and polite with us all. They even brought out food to feed the piglets so we could see them, an added bonus really. The horses were cute and cheeky, very fun to ride. My guys name was Tex. The ride was long and the views were stunning, more than I was expecting to be honest. The only thing I could suggest is for any visitor to stay hydrated and don't wear white or cream or anything light that could get stained from red dirt/dust. Expect to get dirty...and of course, have fun!
We can’t recommend circle M ranch enough! Our wranglers — Bailee, Chase and Peter were phenomenal. Such kind, down to earth people who made safety their #1 mission. The horses were well taken care of, fed and loved. Each wrangler knew so much about the horses. Terry, the owner was a sweetheart and so welcoming. Only complaint I had was the hilly terrain, but after hearing the background of the land and ranch, I had a new appreciation for it on our return back. Make sure you wear sunscreen or an SPF shirt, avoid hats (very windy at the bottom)unless they can be worn beneath a helmet. We would highly recommend this Ranch and its workers and horses to anyone!!! Perfect last excursion for our time on Maui 🌺🐴
If you’re looking for the best views in Maui without the crowds, Circle M Ranch is your hidden gem. Chase gave us an unforgettable private horseback ride along the Maui coast (easily the highlight of our trip) and Trina welcomed us as a host showing us the wonderful animals and views on the ranch! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the ranch itself felt like a true slice of authentic Hawaiian life. The ranch is home to peacocks, tortoises, pigs, chickens, and of course, the amazing horses that made the whole experience feel so genuine and peaceful. No tourist traps, no pushy upsells just good vibes, stunning ocean views, and warm, welcoming guides. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a real Maui horseback riding experience.
The morning trail ride was so much fun! The guides are great and the views are amazing! I would do it again! Pancho was fun to ride!

Small house that serves as a museum for the Maui Historical Society. A lot of early island artifacts. They have one of Duke Paoa Kahanamoku early surfboard on the property. Nice gardens around the museum.
When we got there it turns out they were cleaning up from a break in which sucks. It sucks that anyone would break into a place trying to show the history of Maui. The tour was good and informative about the history of Maui. We spent about an hour there.
If you want to know about the history of Maui, HI this is the pla place. The bulding is a historic house and they have a lot of historical artifacts. The guide gave you a tour around the house on were you can learn a lot about Maui and the native Hawaian culture. They're nice and have a lot of knowledge about Hawaii, so they can't hesitate to answer any question. A must to see and a good place to visit.
Great museum for $10 to learn about Hawaii, both pre and post discovery by Europeans. Local volunteer guides gave passionate, in-depth tour of museum. Perfect place to get context on the islands and ask any questions you may have
Wonderful hidden treasure in Wailuku. Lovely staff, though one of the docents was there and not in evidence. The senior docent and gift shop attendant were very attentive. The selections for gifting were beautiful. The displays were well curated.
Steven was awesome! He gave us a thorough tour of the Bailey House and a great history lesson. Highly recommend this stop to anyone visiting Maui.
We got a nice tour from the docent, Chris. He was knowledgeable and pleasant. We've been coming to Maui for about 15 years and I found this place on Google Maps! Little hidden gem. Small museum that provides nice amount of history but not so much it is overwhelming or gets boring. Would go again.
A wonderful piece of hidden history. I recommend exploring the entire site. As the buildings are very old, there are some parts that would not be easily accessible via chair. The staff and docents are very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly people.

Unbelievably beautiful! Gorgeous mountain stream to go for a swim in and cool off, crystal clear water. Very clean and well maintained. Also very interesting information about different cultures that came to Maui and what they introduced to the native people.
I did not give this place a 5 because it is a bit more run down than other times I have visited. One of my favorite places to go to when on island. Even though there is a Fairly big parking lot and be hard to find a space. There was trash in the pond and around the grounds. Made me sad. Gardens were a bit dry but all of Maui was way more dry than I think I have ever seen.
Back in the day, this was the place I'd ask my mom to take me on Saturdays so I could "feed the fish" in one of the ponds. Not much has changed since then. THE PARK: It's located deep inside Iao Valley on the way to Iao Valley State Park. Entry is free and parking is plentiful. On the stream side of the parking lot are covered picnic tables with grills which are popular with locals especially on the weekends, but can sometimes be a bit shady during the late afternoons. On the other side of the parking lot are several gardens that are themed by the major immigrant ethnic groups in Hawaii which are Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, and Portuguese. Each has its own culturally-inspired garden setting and a scaled-down version of a building structure. There are very picturesque foot bridges, art work, ponds, and streams. A bamboo forest is perched at the highest point of the gardens which you can walk through on a paved trail, and features a pipe pumping out fresh water that meanders to the gardens below. SWIMMING: Just below the main bridge at the front of the park is a great swimming spot in the stream. Do NOT go swimming if it's raining, unless you want to get caught in a flash flood. Use common sense! OVERALL: A nice place to breeze through on your way to Iao Valley State Park.
This place has seen better days. Some areas are nice, others are in a state of neglect and disrepair. The paths and stairs are damaged in places. Some monuments are overgrown with algae to the point of not being able to read the words. The ponds are severely dirty, poor fish :(. There's trash, beer bottles, and even used syringes. A severe lack of respect to the memories of those that came before.
Went there on Sunday about 930a. Located 5 minutes away from iao valley. There is sufficient free parking. This park is dedicated to cultural heritage. Also, there is an area for parties, but not sure if permits are required. We didn't have much time to explore the whole park, but i would visit this place again
This is beautiful park that should on your list of places to spend a peaceful day. Right on a beautiful creek, it celebrates the many different people and religions that came to the island to work. Japanese, Portuguese, Chinese. There is a beautiful banyon tree to gaze since the one in Lahaina is still shut off to the public while it heals. Bring a picnic and spend half a day exploring and learning. Aloha!
If you're headed into Iao Valley State Park, this is a great stop either on the way in or out. This is a small park honoring the immigrant past of Maui. There's examples of Portugese, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean architecture with historical plaques telling the story of each immigrant group. We spent about 45 minutes looking around and enjoying the scenic valley the park is nestled in. We were there on a Saturday morning close to lunch time, and there were several groups cooking, and there was a group of local artists sketching and painting by the Chinese pagoda
This park was not on our radar when we headed to see the Iao Valley, but I am so glad we stopped in. The views from the park are amazing. Not to mention all the park has to offer. Put this on your list of places to stop. You'll be glad you did.

It's a great place to see local people have a chance to practice there are artistic skills and the players produced there are really professionally done. I love the charm of the old theater. But take note that with the charm comes the age and the uneven flooring for those who have difficulty walking.
Such a fun experience. For a small island, good time, many sold out shows with good local talent. The seating is not the greatest, especially if someone larger or tall is in front of you and blocks your view. The sound is good and it’s just fun. Go early and enjoy some wonderful coffee and food just down the street or you can purchase goodies at the theater. Also, there’s plenty of free parking across the street.
We went to watch a pre-broadcast SYFY channel's Haunted Collector which filmed a segment inside Iao Theater back in 2012. It's a pretty nice place for its age. All the seats seem to have a great view of the stage. It's not a huge theater so you get an intimate feeling. If there was a show or play that interested me, I'd go back!
Really enjoyed the production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Amazing show. Will be back a million times :) I think I’m their number 1 fan 🌺
I am not new to this theater. I have actually performed here many years ago... However, yesterday a friend of mine and myself went and saw 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show'... Let me tell you something, it was so well put together that I'm sad for you if you miss it. For obvious reasons, no one is allowed to take photographs or videos inside which I like. It keeps the event intimate... For those of you who haven't seen it, it keeps you guessing... Guess you better get down there and see it to believe it for yourself!! The swag bags were great. It gets an overall A+!! The theater is still amazing on the inside. It is very well kept up. And PS ladies. There's also a restroom outside during intermission to help get you back inside quickly!! Support local theater!!
An awesome and historic performance theater. The "Nutcracker Sweet" was incredibly and professionally well performed.
We had a great time. Well taken care of theatre with a rich history. We went and saw "Rumors" in September of 2018. Production was very well done and the whole experience was very lovely. Tasty snacks and water were available. The set was amazing and as a fellow technician it's all I looked at before the show started. We had a fabulous time and if we're back in Maui it will definitely be somewhere we would return to.

We had an amazing time with PacWhale Eco Adventures on the Molokini and Turtle Arches snorkel tour! 🐢🌊 The captain and crew were absolutely wonderful—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to answer all our questions. Their passion for marine life and care for every guest really stood out. The food was great too—breakfast included croissants, pineapple, banana bread, and orange slices, and lunch was a tasty combo of burgers, salad, and refreshing drinks. Everything was fresh and well-organized. The snorkeling experience was unforgettable—clear water, beautiful fish, and such a fun time for everyone. They even had a lily pad for kids, which was a huge hit with our 3-year-old! It was perfect for little ones who didn’t want to jump fully into the water but still wanted to play safely. Life jackets and floating supports were also provided, making it stress-free for families. Overall, this trip was totally worth it—great value, great crew, and an incredible experience. I’d highly recommend it to all families visiting Maui! 🌺🚤🐠
It was an amazing experience! The crew were so helpful and nice. Captain Chris made delicious pork sandwiches. Everyone, literally everyone had so much fun!
Captain was named Aaron I think. Awesome trip to Molokini. Very professional group of 3 that directed our tour group of 20 snorkelers. They grilled up an amazing dinner for us as well, unexpectedly good for middle of the ocean.
Hands down the best experience on Maui. 4 hour sunset cruise with snorkeling, dinner, and a visit from a whale! The team-Capt Chris, Danielle, Jake, & Eneysia were beyond amazing. If you’re on Maui, visit the Ocean Spirit and Capt Chris and the crew. We saw 3 turtles, 2 sharks, hundreds of beautiful fish and a whale! BYOB on board
This was an amazing experience. So family friendly. Captain Chris, Camon, Jake and Ash were wonderful. Our kids had an amazing time. We got to see some whales, turtles, and of course all the wonderful tropical fish. Food was great. And so thankful we purchased the photo package - great pics of our family! (We chose the Ultimate Ocean Package with admission to Maui Ocean Center, and the Molokini & Turtle Arches snorkel.)
3 out of 5 stars While there were aspects of the experience that were enjoyable, several key areas left much to be desired, which is why I’m giving a 3-star rating. To begin with, the cost of parking was surprisingly high. For a facility of this kind, I expected parking to be either included or more reasonably priced. The elevated parking fees felt excessive and added unexpected cost to the overall experience, which detracted from the value. The food was another disappointment. It was very simple, lacking in both flavor and creativity. Given the setting, we were hoping for something more thoughtfully prepared or representative of the local cuisine, but it ultimately felt generic and uninspired. On a positive note, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their customer service was genuine, and they were clearly dedicated to making guests feel comfortable. However, there was a noticeable emphasis on upselling additional services throughout the trip. While we understand the business aspect, the constant sales pitch became a bit much and took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. Overall, while the staff’s hospitality was appreciated, the elevated parking costs, underwhelming food, and persistent upselling made the experience feel less worthwhile than expected.
Great catamaran experience to snorkle at Lanai. Very friendly, clean, and we saw whales in November!
We had an absolutely incredible experience on this whale-watching tour! The captain and crew were not only super knowledgeable but also clearly passionate about what they do, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to see five different whales up close—within a stone’s throw of the boat! The 3-hour tour was the perfect amount of time to maximize our chances of seeing these amazing creatures. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough—it was unforgettable!

I enjoyed the Sunday morning service. This will be my home church when I spend the winters in Maui. Bobbie Brantley Saint Louis, Missouri ,USA
My husband and I just loved this church! We attended the 9am Sunday morning service while we were on vacation. The pastor spoke in English and in Hawaiian. After the service was over, they invited us to eat with their church family. It felt like home! The pastor's wife is also an amazing cook/baker! (She made cookies very similar to my mother's) Thank you for making us feel accepted and like we were family! If anyone is looking for a loving church family, or just a great church to visit while you're on Maui, this may be the place God is calling you to! We definitely recommend a visit!
This church is a historic Hawaiian church. If interested in the Hawaiian religion and language to either learn thru or of entertainment and comfort, this is a place to kuli waha and open ears
This is a beautiful, historic building that is open to newcomers every day. The surrounding grounds are gorgeous, and provide a serene place for contemplation and wonderful photos!
Blessed with the Pastor and his family. Prayed and worshiped in Hawaiian.
What a great church..lots of Kapuna have been here.
Always a great representative of old Hawaii and the church of old Hawaii

My child took 1 session in hip-hope dance with Mr. Tito. He has great energy and he is so very knowledgeable in his craft as a dancer and very professional in manner. We are now taking private lessons with him. Thank you!
My first class at MAPA and first in person class in a long time! I love how they divided the class space up into squares for keeping everyone safe and healthy. Beautiful space and looking forward to weekly classes!
MAPA is incredible and they are celebrating 50 years and getting their own space! Exciting times!
First of all I don’t like how all the parents and kids have to sit in the middle of the food court at their new location. It’s suppose to be a food court not a waiting area! All these people are in the way of people actually trying to eat and enjoy the food at this establishment! They should put the tables and chairs back in there! Plus they’re in the way of the bathrooms and all the cocky white parents and their kids are staring and judging everyone walking pass them!! They’re interfering with the businesses that have been there before them! The management just cares about their performing arts and not the other businesses in the building!!!
Without it we wouldn't have met more than half of our friends or have had half of the great memories we had on island! Mahalo nui loa for all you do to keep theater alive and top notch in Maui!
I have friends that work there with the younger generation and the shows they put on are amazing
My daughter is a first time student and is enjoying herself tremendously
The staff is incredible, so impressed. Many Mahalos 🙏🏼

Amazing studio at the Keheili hwy. Their art work, studio and the completed arts are stupendous. Customer service is amazing and the rep (I forgot her name) was really friendly. She shared the details on Steve and Christine's work and their passion towards arts. Their garden was very well done and nice, open space and welcoming. I also saw they had their own rain water harvesting going on with self sustainable resources.
We had an incredible experience at Turnbull today, the staff are all very kind and knowledgeable, and all the art is truly one one of a kind. The flagship statues are phenomenal, but the many other local artists’ goods are also great - we got a couple lovely pieces of jewellery. Highly recommend, it’s well worth the drive!
Wonderful gallery full of high-quality art from many various artists. Very fun little sculpture walk.
Such a special gallery featuring local artists and Marcus and Christine’s work is incredible! Worth a stop! Lyla, the storekeeper, was lovely as well.
A wonderful place to tour and walk the grounds, gifts of art large and small. All price ranges for inspiring Hawaiian art. There's nothing the gallery owners can't do.
Very cool spot with unique art and sculpture garden. A must-visit if you're touring around the island! We got all of our souvenir shopping done here in the great gift shop.
Lots of giraffe-adjacent art. The art is beautiful and there is a short sculpture trail on the property as well.
Beautiful setting, amazing studio, lucky enough to meet Steve Turnbull and purchase a sculpture that really touched our hearts.

Great for sunrise. Quiet, peaceful. In a residential area, so be courteous of private property
Nice secluded beach just outside of Kahului. There are remnants of an old road and dune. Only one picnic table.
Sunday, May 31, 2020 was too gorgeous of a day to stay inside. I felt like taking a stroll on a beach but wanted to stay on "my side" of the island, which is how my spouse and I ended up here. THE BEACH: Unless you searched the area on Google maps or golfed at the Waiehu Municipal Course, you'd never knew this place existed. Located within the Leisure Estates subdivision of Waiehu, it's a sliver of a beach separated into two sections by a natural formation of eroded coastline. The south end is a mix of sand, river rocks and driftwood. Hop over the jetty to the north side and you'll find all soft sand that abuts to the Waiehu Golf Course property. A few deteriorated cement support columns can be found here making me think there used to be a pier or dock here. Shade is almost non-existent so bring an umbrella. The ocean was calm and swimmable on this particular day but can be rough and choppy especially when north swells roll in. Views of Maui's north shore, Mount Haleakala and the West Maui Mountains behind you can't be beat! As far as facilities go, there was one picnic table that I saw and nothing else. PARKING: The tiny lot at the south end can fit maybe 3 cars but there's lots of shoulder parking on both sides of Lower Waiehu Beach Road along with a much larger parking lot at the north end. TIP: The combination of being located at a dead end road, along with a big parking lot can turn the place shady especially at night, so be careful. Thankfully no homeless folks were in the area during the day. OVERALL: No sunsets, no restrooms, no tourists, all beach.
One of the beautifulest places I watched the sunrise at. The swing was my highlight. We also had the opportunity to watch some surfers. The beach is a bit rocky so if you wanna go in be careful. But the sound of the rocks clicking together with every wave makes the place even more beautiful. :)
Very small beach, near my house, where I go just to sit and enjoy the ocean waves. This clears my head and helps me to relax. It's mostly rocky, very little sandy beach, there are shade trees though. No bathrooms, just a porto poddy near the golf course. Lots of people come to Waiehu beach to walk their dogs or for walking exercise. Some guys will fish, with a net or pole, and there are at times surfers and bougie boarders. Always great to watch these guys, they make it looks so easy. Strong waves and Rocky coral so not advised to go to for kids as there are No lifeguards. No BBQ pits, there is one picnic table. Waiehu beach is located next to a residential area. It's a beautiful place to sit and think though, just enjoy the beautiful day and relax, Chill out. Never really crowded, unless they're a playing softball at the diamond nearby.
Huge park with toilets, shower, picnic tables and alots of space to play and hangout. The beach itself is long but not alot of sand. The water was not suitable for swimming when we went as the weather was stormy a bit but here are some photos of the place as it was empty of ppl!!! There was some wild cats but not very approachable. The golf course is just at the entrance of the park so be careful of golf balls flying around it may hit your parked car.
This really quiet beach was a really great stroll and place for photos. There were only two locals there fishing, and beautiful sand. And old oversized architecture pieces gives some sort of post-apocalyptic feelings. We're hadn't planned to stay there, but I could definitely see us going back and spending more time
Usually really busy with windsurfers but all tike great place to enjoy the sunrise

1915 not long after it's completion the gothic style structure on high street appears without any of the tropical foliage tail trees that surround it today . Built by stone gathered from the Wailuku Sugar Mill Company Field's and Iao Valley, the church was erected around a cornerstone laid in 1911.
Wonderful place to worship. You all are invited to to join me in prayer to God.
Most beautiful 😍 church ⛪️ ❤️

(Translated by Google) Beautiful church built in stone, from the outside it has a certain charm. It's a shame we can't visit it inside as well, it's only open for Sunday mass once a week. (Original) Bella chiesa costruita in pietra, da fuori ha un certo fascino. Peccato non poterla visitare anche all'interno, è aperta solo per la messa domenicale una volta a settimana.
