We had an awesome time as usual at the Charlotte Motor Speedway! The Roval is a fun event to watch. We were lucky enough to have garage and pit passes too which is an added bonus. If you're new to races here, it's a bit better to sit higher up as you can see further around the track but there's really no bad seats here. $50 for Bojangles for 4 of us but that's really not terrible considering where you are. All in all it was a fun time with family.
What an incredibly clean track, easy to get in and out. I'm not a big NASCAR fan but went with some friends and had a phenomenal time. Also loved the aluminum table available to every seat in the stands! We paid for premium parking and it was worth it, but also don't think any parking was particularly bad.
Saw the Roval 400 from the club level. Also had an infield pass. It was a great time and built some core memories. Even signed the start finish line before the race. A great venue and a wholesome family atmosphere.
I took my son and grandson here for our first racing experience. It was fantastic. Easy parking and entry, staff was helpful. We were able to bring a small cooler with drinks and food. Facilities inside were also very convenient.
Class A facility. We came for the Roval and this is a fun layout of a track. We camped in the turn 1 camping. Definitely not as rowdy of a crowd for this race than others we have been too.
Actually it was the Ford Performance Racing School Mustang Unleashed Experience. That's a mouthful! It was AWESOME! Drive a Mustang in ways that aren't legal or safe on public roads safely! I learned a lot.
5/5 - Thrilling experience at Charlotte Motor Speedway's Roval! The unique road-oval hybrid layout delivers heart-pounding action, with tight turns and high-speed straights that keep you on the edge of your seat. Electric atmosphere during races, top-notch facilities, and perfect for NASCAR fans—highly recommend catching an event here!
Saw the rovel today. Really nice race venue. I'm from Iowa, so I have been to the Newton track several times, this one is great.

I was a little hesitant to go because of the bad reviews, but we had a wonderful stay. The room, all the hotel areas, public bathrooms and the water park were very clean. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Everything is very well organized, and the app makes the stay much better because we could see opening hours of the attractions, activities and even ordered food for pickup. This made the wait much shorter since they send you a text message when your food is ready and you just go and pick it up. Some rooms have been remodeled with wood floors, so I requested a room with wood flooring, and I loved it; it's a great upgrade. Cocktails are NOT good, they taste like juice but must of the food is good. My kids had a great stay and so much fun. Loved the convenience of the wristbands and being able to do all transactions with it (opening the room door, paying for stuff inside the hotel). I would recommend it. We also felt very safe in the hotel.
We took our kids to the Great Wolf Lodge for a weekend getaway. To start with the positives - my kids absolutely loved it. The location was great, close to the highway as well as a lot of restaurants. The activities were also great for the kids - they had Halloween themed activities, a quest activity for kids to run around the hotel and play, and the water park was large with a ton for kids to do. The service was also decent and check-in/check-out was super easy. The negatives - the rooms were very basic, not super clean, and some part of it in need of renovation. I would say that was the overall theme of the hotel - very basic with lots of opportunity for improved cleanliness. Also, while expected, the food was very expensive for mediocre quality. Overall, my kids loved the experience and thought it was great but from an adult perspective I’m not sure the experience is worth the cost when compared to Disney, a water park day pass, etc.
Let’s start with the pros! The staff was awesome — everyone we met was super nice, helpful, and all smiles. That alone goes a long way! I also loved the free wolf ears; small touch, but it adds to the magic. The water park was a blast, and my kid had the timeeee of his life for his birthday. Big plus that you can enjoy the park before and after checkout too. Now for the cons. First off, $19 a day for parking? Wild. For what you already pay to stay there, that should really be included. We booked a themed kids’ room to make things extra special. My son loved it — but the cleanliness? Not it. Looked like housekeeping popped in, made the bed, and said, “Yep, good enough!” Dusty phone, dusty TV, hair in the tub, and little handprints all over the mirror. It’s giving “quick tidy,” not “deep clean.” And those beds… if the theme was “Fred Flintstone’s rock collection,” then 10/10 nailed it. I woke up feeling like I’d wrestled a dinosaur in my sleep. My ribs hurt so bad I had to move to the couch. Even my 7-year-old said it was uncomfortable — and he can nap anywhere! The restaurant experience wasn’t great either — waited an hour and a half for a table and another 45 minutes for food. The tenders and burgers were decent, but my chicken Alfredo? Tasted like swamp water with a side of sadness. The chicken was so dry I think it crumbled out of protest. Chef Ramsay would’ve shut it down immediately. Overall: Huge shoutout to the kind and upbeat staff — they truly made it magical for the kids. But please, Great Wolf Lodge… for the love of comfort, upgrade those beds! Cuuuuuzzzz maaaaaaaannn!!! My ribs are still filing a complaint!
My family loves to come to GWL, this is probably our 3rd time coming to this location, its been the best one. The customer service is exceptional, every one is always smiling and greeting you when they walk by. Even the lifeguards are always making sure you’re ok. My kids never want to leave, they enjoy all the activities. Only issue is and I’m sure is everyone else’s , is the parking, pretty expensive to be charged that every night instead of a one time fee. Also, food is decent. We don’t eat everyday here because it can get pricey. Other than that, we will continue coming to the great wolf lodge.
While this was an adventurous trip to say the least, it would have received 5 stars had my 2 girls, ages 6 & 7yrs not gotten 'stuck' in the water slide. This is a raft slide that in my opinion should have a minimum weight requirement to ride. My girls had no phobia of heights nor rides but this was the first slide/ride that they went on at this establishment and was unaccompanied not just without myself but without any other riders. Their total weight wasn't even 100 lbs and the raft held 4 to 5 riders max. The staff were not educated enough to NOT allow two little girls under 100 lbs to ride this alone.. so my girls 'got stuck' spinning in the middle of the enclosed water ride hanging onto the raft not to drown for 20minutes( I was told this by a supervisor of the water park who accompanied them back to me). Not sure how the ride staff couldn't realize this was happening when the bottom of the slide staff wasnt given the 'clear' thumbs up for the next raft, nor the top of the slide staff was permitting the next raft down. I was looking for my girls for almost a half hour after they told me that they were going on the slides(had no idea that this slide had a raft nor other requirements not permitting them from the ride). It was nice that the supervisor treated my girls to a dip n dots ice cream and apologized but this has created now a phobia of water slides. I do hope that the staff have been educated beyond apologizes after the fact. Tip for guests: do your research on the water slides, save money and purchase souvenir bottles for unlimited soda refills for the stay, and be safe & ENJOY!
Lots of things can be improved: bowling area the couch is ripped open; bowling lane sometimes not working; ice cream place the actual price is $2 higher than the price shown on the sticker, which is annoying since isn’t it state law that you have to sell thing as what your price is shown? I dunno, I’m not the expert of the law, but I am not used to have the employee tell me the actually price while I am seeing the sticker price right in front of my eye. How hard to replace the price tag? They still have movie theater sign showing on the wall but the employees said it is not operating - so at least remove the sign? On the other side, Room is okay. There is no routine room service but they can come upon request, which I don’t find too bad. We liked the cabin set up. Kids had a great time enjoying the cabin. Waterpark is good. But we actually enjoyed things other than waterpark like mini golf, rope course, bowling was a big hit (that’s why I’m very disappointed on the condition of the ally). Overall, a good place for staycation, considering about the price and the distance of traveling.
Came recently for my son's birthday. Customer Service was phenomenal with my guy from Jamaica and the team meeting me know they found my phone. The kids loved the water slides and the wave pool most. I think I climbed 78 stairs about 20 times. The beds could be larger and the rooms cleaned better for next guest. A young gentleman who was in the room prior was able to come in our room shortly after we checked in. I was deeply disappointed the ice cream machine was done and been down for months. I know Great Wolf can afford a new machine in one night. I think a meal (breakfast) and arcade tokens need to be included as well.
We enjoy the GWL, couple of things to note below - Highly disappointed that parking is $19 a day, $19? Seriously? You don't get anything for that fee, same parking lot they have always had, no security in parking lot, you have to search for a parking spot, etc. I pay less for parking when I stay in the city at a Marriott or Hilton. Second disappointment recently was an issue with the room that I requested maintenance to fix, and they didn't. The bed frame is in dire need of repairs or replacement, and I wasn't asking for replacement, but when I arrived in the room, the box spring in bed had slid far enough over that three metal rails were sticking at least 4 in out of the side of the bed. All maintenance did was slide the bed back over, keep in mind that the bed slides all over the place. So all you have to do is bump into the corner of the bed, while you're walking, and now the metal rails are sticking back out. With small kids, this is dangerous, it's unfortunate that the maintenance team didn't understand or comprehend the dangers involved in this. I had to move the bed back in place multiple times during our stay. After two successful days at the water park, we were told we could no longer bring our small hard cooler into the park, it's a small Milwaukee pack out cooler, it had water and milk in it for the baby. I was told by the water park supervisor that despite it previous two days of being allowed to bring it in that it is not allowed, I did have the option to leave it in the vestibule rather than taking it to my vehicle which is what I did. And then I made trips back and forth from our table to the vestibule to get Waters and snacks. I understand the hard cooler requirement, but a size requirement makes more sense than no hard coolers. A small hard cooler that fits under a chair serves no danger, a large 30qt yeti is a different story. No reason for it to be allowed the first two days of its policy, and it was searched both days for glass - it was seen. This is a ridiculous policy, if it's corporate, it's still ridiculous. Overall we spent around $1500 for a two night visit between room, food, gift shops, and parking. Also worth mentioning that the story time needs to be looked at, it was chaotic with the story teller, the audio and all the background noise. The kids had no idea what was going on, our kids had no desire to do it again. A classic book and story would have been awesome in front of the fireplace - that's a memory worth making. Other than issues listed above our stay was pleasant, kids loved the bingo break half way through the day, the pizza was good, some would say it's costly but there is convenience of having it on site, the snack bar at the pool is overpriced, even with convenience in mind, the room was clean when we arrive and housekeeping checked the trash daily. Front desk staff and pool staff were friendly and attentive. We're on the fence if we will go back anytime soon.

I had a great experience at SEA LIFE Charlotte! At first, I thought it was going to be small, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much there was to see. The aquarium has a wide variety of fish and marine creatures — from colorful tropical fish to jellyfish, sharks, rays, and even sea turtles. Each area is thoughtfully organized and makes the visit both fun and educational. What I really appreciated was the self-guided experience. The printed and posted information throughout the aquarium was clear, engaging, and helped me learn a lot about the animals and their habitats. It’s a great setup for visitors to go at their own pace and still enjoy a very informative tour. Overall, it was a very enjoyable visit. Whether you’re going with family, friends, or even solo, SEA LIFE Charlotte is definitely worth checking out. I would happily visit again and highly recommend it to anyone spending time in the area!
I took my family here for my daughters birthday party an everyone had such a great time. The aquarium was very beautiful all the fish and different things to see was really nice an the walk through piece is just breath taking truly. Definitely recommend everyone to go here 100%.
The aquarium was amazing. Myself and family enjoyed it. The price was a little steep $25 per person. I thought the establishment would have been a little bigger, but overall we still had a great time. Would recommend.
Absolutely loved this place — and it’s not just for kids! 🐠 The walk through the aquarium takes about an hour, but no one rushes you, so you can take your time and enjoy every moment. So many impressions, vibrant colors, and magical underwater scenes. Highly recommend — my little princess was thrilled and couldn’t stop talking about it!
Nice aquarium! Kids and adults will enjoy this pleasant surprise while visiting the mall. There were lots of material to read on the sea life that lives here. We took our time and loved it. Totally worth a visit if you're in the area!
Sealife: that part of the world that we, human beings, don’t really consider in their everyday actions! I took my son to show him that life is more than just go to work, take a shower, visit friends or going to the beach. Life is taking accountability for every species in this beautiful planet 🌍
Thought this place was small but nice Definitely nice if you have small children. There is alot of fish, star fish touching, and exploring kids can do. Great for a hot or rainy day for something to do if ur local. I wouldn't make a long trip for just this.
Not what I was expecting… reading all of these reviews I was honestly shocked at how small and short this aquarium is. Granted, I’m a Floridian.. so my only comparison is an amazing aquarium in Tampa. Maybe my expectations were too high? But for $25 a piece for entry, I was extremely unimpressed. Sure, there are fish, and some sting rays, and little sharks… but that’s pretty much it. It’s attached to the concord mall, so that should give you a sense of the vibe. We spent MAYBE a total of 20 minutes in the entire thing.. it’s small, cramped, and just not worth the money. I am only writing this review because I wish I had read one that set the right expectations for me lol. If it was on sale for $10, sure, that would be worth the trip! But we scheduled off our entire Saturday morning to “go to the aquarium” and it was a 20 min walk through. I hate writing poor reviews, but like I said, I wish I had read a review that gave a more accurate picture of the place. My son had fun, so that’s good!

Gorgeous park. Tons of trails, birds, a lake to walk around. There's also pickleball and tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields, mini golf course, plus Frisbee golf. Something for everyone!
Relaxing park with nearly a 2 mile trail.. events nearly every weekend so I hit it as much as I can during the week. Nature all around throughout the year. Plenty of sheltered areas for get togethers, plenty of restrooms, seasonal paddle boats and mini golf. The only real downside is getting caught in here during an event as there is only one entrance. Other than that it’s laid out well.
This was our first time visiting. What a beautiful park, it is huge. We parked at the lake parking lot and brought our chairs closer to the lake. It was beautiful out and the park was busy. The walking pathway was wonderful for our dog. One note: there are hardly any trees, so if it’s hot out you will not have much shade. Otherwise a beautiful day.
Good gravel path for walking the dogs. You can just walk around the pond or you can make your walk longer by going through the woods. Not sure how long it is but probably at least 2 miles.
This is one of my favorite parks. I love to walk the trail around the lake and through the woods behind the lake. It is an absolute beautiful place with lots of convenient bathrooms. They even have mini golf, paddle boats, volleyball courts, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and so much more. I cannot say enough good things about this park. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful.
Beautiful park! We were visiting from out of town and wanted a nice trail to walk, and we didn’t bring the right shoes for a hardcore hike. Perfect level paths for all fitness levels. Every outside activity you could want also! Clean bathrooms. Highly recommended.
Been coming to this park since I was a kid and I love it here sure things have changed but I still love coming here especially with my kids now :)
Nice park in Concord, NC. They have everything you need here. Golf course, soccer fields, volleyball fields, places to cookout, trails, a pond or lake, ducks, you can go paddling in the water with their paddle boats. Lots to do. I think this is the largest park in Concord, NC or one of the largest. I’m not sure. But it is really nice.

Easy to get to. Not too far off the exit. Clear signs to and from. Parking attendance and police directing you where to go. $10 to park which was not bad at all. Plenty of parking and shuttles from parking lot to bring you up to the speedway. Recommend packing your own cooler. We didn't know we could and lunch was $38 for a small cup of French fries, a sausage dog with raw onions, and two waters! $10 for additional 2 waters after the fact later on. Also, bring really good ear muffs, not the cheap hearing protection. Trust me. Also don't skimp on the sun block. You'll thank me.
Saturday April 26, 2025. A wonderful experience start to finish. The zMAX Dragway is an amazing track and the 4 wide racing is a ton of fun to watch but bring ear muffs, plugs just are not enough. The entire facility is extremely clean and well kept. Plenty of great parking. Very spacious pits makes getting around easy and enjoyable. Every seat is a good seat just depends on how close you want to be to the start or finish. There are 2 tunnels that connect each side. Grand stand seating has backs and are large enough for a small cooler but metal seats are not comfortable after a while so bring cushions.
Had a blast! Got there early, parking was easy, walked around. Food selections were great! Enjoyed watching! Will definitely be back!
Awesome experience. Lots of food vendors and souvenirs. Take ear protection or you can buy some at a table down nitro row.
4 wide 300+ mph is the most intense rush on this planet. Witness in person. You won't regret it!!!
First Motorcross Race was one that will remember forever. No bad seats!!! We were in the middle row in the middle of the track. Saw so much action! We liked the west side better.
$10 parking on top of the ticket price is a bit much in my opinion. Cash or card for parking fee, everything else is no cash. It’s a nice facility but way overbuilt for the amount of spectators that show up. I’m not a big fan of four wide, but I am a big drag race fan.
We went here for the Streetcar Takeover. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the races we got to see before the rain moved in. It was fun to walk around and check out all the cars.

Visited on a corporate retreat and chose the solo ride option. To be honest, I didn’t really have any expectations but really enjoyed the experience. Much, much, more of an exhilarating experience than I imagined. Taking the turns without breaking, and all gas, I was surprised how much of a thrill to fight against natural instincts was and earning trust of the car in thinking it wouldn’t grip the curves. Gave me a new found respect for NASCAR drivers and I was only clocked at 147 MPH. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming and polite. Finished up with a private dinner on the 6th floor. Even though this wasn’t of initial interest, I was really blown away on how much I’ve enjoyed it. Highly recommended.
I attended the NASCAR driving experience advertised by the North Carolina-based organization, but the event itself was held in Richmond, VA. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was so poorly handled that I feel compelled to share. Let’s start with expectations: they advertise the “150 mph club” and promote the thrill of speed and a professional-grade driving experience. In reality, they tell you once you arrive that the Richmond track is too short to reach that speed. While I completely understand and respect weather delays, the overall event was disorganized from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with confusion—staff looked at us like we were lost, barely explained the process, and took our licenses with no clear system for returning them. We actually had to ask several times just to get our IDs back. For $600, I expected an adrenaline-filled experience. What we got was the exact opposite. The advertised 8 minutes on track felt like 3 short laps, driving at speeds between 25–35 mph. By the time they let you really accelerate, they’re already waving you into the pit. I literally drive faster on my daily commute. And the “ride-along” with a pro that cost an extra $200? We skipped it after seeing how slow and disorganized everything was. Not worth the added cost—or the wait. The pit crew, to their credit, were professional, kind, and ran things as tightly as they could. This review is not about them. The real issue is with the admin team and concession staff—who lacked communication and customer service skills. At one point, we tried to purchase an item and were treated like we were bothering them. It felt like they didn’t want to be there and certainly didn’t care about the experience we paid for. The cherry on top: we paid for a plaque with a photo, which they were supposed to take on site. We watched the staff member take my photo in the car, and we even have video proof from our family. But when we went to pick it up, she handed me a photo of a completely different person. When we pointed it out, she looked embarrassed and literally ran off for 15 minutes. Another staff member told us to “just scroll through the phone” to find it ourselves. The problem? She never actually saved my photo—so we couldn’t even get the plaque we paid for. Instead, they offered a duplicate t-shirt (we already had one included in the package), which felt like a cheap consolation prize for a botched experience. Bottom line: I wouldn’t pay $20 for this experience, let alone $600. You’d get more thrill driving your own car down the highway. If you’re considering this event—save your money. It’s not worth the hype, and it’s certainly not what they advertise.
What a blast! I was given the driver experience (drive solo in the car) 5 minute package for my birthday and just used the gift certificate at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The entire staff was friendly and the spotters quickly noticed my ability and let me advance to higher rpms which equals more speed. Only negative was the 2 way radio had a ton of static which made it hard to understand some of the directions from my spotter but overall didn't really affect my driving the fastest lines and speeds. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves racing and wants to see what its like to drive on a Nascar track.
One of the historic race tracks in the USA. Enron’s engineering is built in within this track. I would definitely recommend to take a tour where they take you closer to the track, winners podium and pitstops. Really awestruck to see the immense engineering and crew who work behind their historic races. I would highly recommend engineers and race enthusiasts to visit this location
My husband was gifted with this driving experience. He wasn't sure that he'd like it since he's not a NASCAR fan, but it ended up that he LOVED it! Friendly & professional staff throughout the day. Lots of speed--137 mph in the 5-minute run. Great shaded area for families to sit & watch. Not TOO loud, so you can talk & don't need earplugs. Definitely would recommend for a fun day of speed!
This was an excellent experience from booking to driving! The staff answered all questions, the tract was well marked for where to go, the bucklers and instructors were so patient and helpful! Highly recommend this experience!! Thank you!!
If I could give 10 stars I would. I Went Aug 2,2025 a surprise 60th birthday from my wife Amy. Everyone was SO nice and helpful. The cars were amazing. I went 147 mph in 11 laps. It was my first time and I want to go again and again. Best all around experience.
Had the time and experience at Dover Speedway today. I’m ready to go to the next track. My spotter/crew chief Justin was amazing to work with. He had me going the top speed allowed by the end of my session. Can’t say enough good things about this experience and crew that put it on

This is such a beautiful oasis located in downtown Concord. The cemetery and gardens are well kept year round, though they are especially stunning in spring. In addition to flowers, the architecture is beautiful with numerous fountains, benches, and clear paths. It's a great spot to take photos, reconnect with nature, or spend time in quiet reflection.
My wife and I just visited this garden today! We were absolutely astounded by the beauty and magnificent atmosphere of the overall environment! We did go on April 6 which is the middle or beginning best time of spring! There were families, young kids, older people younger people all kinds! This is an excellent place to gather around perhaps on a Sunday afternoon after church with the family! Very peaceful and tranquil, very nice escape from the busyness of life. Have fun, my loving friends.
Such a great little spot downtown. Very serene. My favorite visit was in Spring. All the tulips and colors surrounding me was a happy experience. I have yet to do so, but I will be grabbing lunch (to go) just so I can eat it there. There are a few spots one can sit and eat. Disclaimer: not sure if food is allowed. Will have to double check before I go through with my plan.
A gem amongst the downtown area. This place is very peaceful with plenty of areas to sit and enjoy the scenery, meditate, or read a good book. The flowers are gorgeous in early spring and worth a trip to see every year. The tombstones are neat to see, dating back to late 1800s on some. The weekend can be busy due to it being a popular photo backdrop for proms, senior pics, etc but weekdays are less crowded and my favorite time to go.
Beautiful garden. I've jogged past it dozens of times, and always thought it was just a cemetery. It really is something worth seeing if you are in the area. The trees are amazing!
Awesome experience, very beautiful and tranquil environment, A MUST SEE, brilliant blooms, 200 year old trees, and a very peaceful place with the old headstones intertwined throughout the park, water fountains, and stone paths and walkways, gates were open, a box to leave contributions if you would like to, NO pets allowed
Love coming here such a beautiful place!
This is a wonderful, hidden gem in downtown Concord. A splendid, well-maintained garden that's always a pleasure to visit.

We really enjoyed this place. They have a great Hazy IPA. Nice location with brewing equipment visible. Cheese curds were good. Service was great nice location I would definitely recommend this place.
Cabarrus Brewing is one of my favorite hangout spots in the Concord area. The place is spacious, making it perfect for gatherings with friends or family. They often host movie nights, which adds a fun and relaxed vibe to the experience. You self-order and pick up your food, then find a spot — super casual and easygoing. They have a wide selection of beers, and I personally loved the Baller Beer. The food is delicious — way better than you’d expect at a typical brewery. I’ve been here multiple times, and it never disappoints. Conveniently located right next to Gibson Mill, this is a must-visit if you’re looking for a laid-back, friendly atmosphere in Concord. Highly recommend for anyone looking to chill with good drinks, food, and company.
Huge open and airy brewery with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of great events throughout the year. Definitely worth checking out. Walking distance to another brewery and restaurants and shops.
We had a class reunion in the Mezzanine space and it was perfect! Our bartender was amazing and they offered a great selection of drinks. We used their catering and the food was delicious. The staff was super easy to work with through the whole process. I would highly recommend for private events!
Service was great. Everyone was friendly and the food was good too. I just felt skeevy eating there bc of how dirty everything was. The front doors, bathroom doors and the couches. I just hope the employees wash their hands.
Great venue, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere. Delicious beer and great food!
Stumbled upon this brewery and couldn’t have been a better surprise. Never knew it was located and tucked away behind the Gibson Mill antique store. LOVE their beer 🍻 and me and my boyfriend had a couple of burgers. I had the pimento burger and he had the smokehouse burger - so freaking good! Oh and their French fries are some of my favorite. Do yourself a huge favor and go grab a few of their beers and just hang out on the patio or beer garden. You’re welcome.
The beer was great. The atmosphere was perfect. Only thing was the cheese steak I had. No flavor at all. Everything tasted the same. Very bland. Need to season that thing and add the cheese during the gill process. All the cheese sat on top and one bite and here comes all the cheese. Plus yall need to cut that in half.

Can't wait for the fair to be here. Also, just heard that this place will host every teacher in the district for a back-to- school meeting. This is so great! I am truly looking forward to this place because it has easy access!
Went there for the cabarrus County fair. There's alot to do inside the buildings for kids that are free. The animals are in there, petting zoo, mini golf, cow milking.
The event center was clean and lines moved quickly. Staff members were helpful. We went to see Gary Allen in concert and it was a great experience.
Great experience for the circus!!ages 3, 5 , 10 & 10 , they loved it! Great views from anywhere*****
This is a nice arena. I was disappointed with the acoustics. We saw the rodeo and could not understand a word over the PA.
Was my fist time there and was awesome
We went here for the Christmas in the south event. The entire afternoon was great. The staff were pleasent and helpful. We were disappointed with the concessions prices, a bit pricey. You could only pay with a card, as well as the admission. It was ok just took me by surprise.
Upteenth time going here for the Christmas show. I used to bring my little children. Now I take my 15 year old Grandson. We had a good time and met some interesting people.

I had a lovely time at a wine tasting there. I was given some wine and the tasting for Christmas! The wines are very diverse from white semi dry, dry reds, sweet and fruity to dessert wines! They even have wine ice cream!! They also have tasting experiences for everyone! We met and talked with one of the owners who is just so friendly, as was the staff. We had a large group with diverse tastes and each of us got to taste the wines we wanted. Owner and staff are very knowledgeable about wines and they make the wine on the premises. I just can't say enough great things about this place! It's definitely a place I will return to often!!
Beautiful establishment with lots of thought given towards the decor. My friend and I did the wine tasting and purchased a few bottles to take home. My favorite wine was a cranberry Chianti! I definitely recommend their wine tasting but wouldn’t come back to hang out. Our server had an odd sense of humor and she wasn’t really that friendly. I will come back to buy the Chianti though.
My now wife and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at Cougar Run this past April. The entire staff, especially Deb, was very accommodating and great to work with! There is a lot that goes into planning a wedding and Deb helped make it easy for us every step of the way. It was a perfect space for us and we got a large number of compliments from our guests. Thank you, Cougar Run Winery, for such a wonderful experience!
This is a gorgeous establishment. The variety of wines available will suite any one’s desire! Tom and Deb are such sweet individuals and very personable! Love this place!!!
Excellent place to enjoy a glass of wine and sample some local flavors. Large stock of on hand wines.
Amazing service! Jessica was a great guide to the world of wine. My husband and I visited for the first time and it was a great experience. We went on a Sunday and there was no one there and it was a wonderful experience. She wore her mask the whole time and told us about each wine, populairty and descriptions. We purchased two and are looking forward to opening them. She was even able to talk sports to my husband which helped with the fact he was missing the game taking me on our one year anniversary date. We greatly recommend this winery! Thanks Jessica!
My sister and I have stopped in a few times for a wine tasting. Very friendly and the wine is wonderful! The strawberry rhubarb is delicious. We just tried the seasonal ports they put out and they are amazing. The sleigh ride was my favorite. Also the Glacier ice Riesling was amazing! Love this place!
They have a great selection of wines to taste. They love to experience with different flavors and wines-you will absolutely find wines that you'll enjoy! We met Tom, the husband of the team, and he gave us some of the history behind the place and how they got started in wine making. The tasting room has great ambience-you won't be disappointed! Check out the events section on their website for events. 👍🏼👍🏼

We had an afternoon wine tasting and the experience was incredible! We had a Groupon so the price was amazing and we got to sample 7 wines each! They also offer other beverage options, and cheeses and meats. I was a little bummed that the Nebbiolo was out of stock, but we plan to come back with friends so it actually just gives us something to look forward to! All the wines were delicious and the service was personable. Adrian was our sommelier and was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. She even added an extra taste of a seasonal Holiday wine for us which of course we loved and bought a bottle of! I can't wait to come back and play game with friends while sipping a bottle of wine. I expected a lot of NC table wine (sweet muscadine) but was so excited to find Syrah, Cabernet, Malbec and My favorite wine of the day Merlot! FYI on parking there is construction so park behind the building and walk around to Union Street. I'm so glad we found this place on Groupon (which included a souvenir glass) and cannot recommend coming here enough.
This place is adorable, and the staff is friendly! I went with a few others to taste wine yesterday. The atmosphere is cozy with a big variety of wines, and they have fun accessories or other items you can purchase. I love that the wine is made in the back of their store front. We got to try their seasonal Mistletoe red in addition to the 6 flavors. It was DELISH! I will definitely be back for more.
Perfect venue for any event. We had my daughter’s graduation party there and it was perfect! Very reasonable, great size, and the owners were super helpful. If you are looking for a great place to throw an event give Cabo a try. It won’t disappoint!!!’
My friend and I had a great time visiting Cabo for a wine tasting. Our server, Lindsey, was so friendly and fun!! Their selection of port was incredible. I highly recommend the Honey Hush coffee flavored port. It’s the best I’ve ever tasted!! The selection of wines they offer is vast and perfect for all wine lovers - sweet or dry. It’s a must try when in the area!
We visited 3 wineries today, just killing time, and we were absolutely thrilled when we discovered Cabo Winery. We could have spent all day there! They have wonderful dry reds, dry whites, sweet wines and dessert wines so there is no way that you can visit this winery and not find something that you love. We loved it all! The owners, Fred and Steele, were an absolute joy, and made this wine tasting one of the best we have ever had. We absolutely loved it!
This was my third time here. Great wine selections but the customer service could be better. It is best to make reservations as they do get busy during the day. Favorite wine was Bless Your Heart. Wine tasting for seven tastings was only $10.95. Great prices, quaint and I recommend this winery.
This is a cute little place in the heart of Downtown Concord. They have several different types of wine. You can either sit down and have a glass or take a bottle to go. They even offer wine slushies. Turkey trot is my go to but now I have a new favorite Shem Creek, these both are sweet red wines.
Absolutely delicious wine here! Love their unique selection of sweet & port wines. Inviting atmosphere with southern charm. Our server Keeley was very knowledgeable about all the wines and gave great suggestions.

Today we came here for the first time. My kids (6&2 year olds) really enjoyed the fun here at Xtreme, many inflatable structures to climb. This is very good for the large motor skills and just strengthening a childs body, and if they fall; its nice and cushioned. We will definitely be coming here more often as a child gym for my toddler, he needs this type of challenge. Also the bathrooms were clean. They have arcade games, basketball hoops game, a claw, and those ride-in stations for toddlers.
We have gone to Xtreme play many times and had our boys birthday party there as well. The space is well used and there are lots of inflates for the older kids and two aimed at younger kids (3 and under). My boys can usually spend 2-3 hours there happily. The snacks are very kid friendly and not a bad price either! It comes in just under $20 for my two boys to go, which considering the area isn't terrible price wise.
I've taken my daughter here for the past year and she normally has a good time on the different slides and bounce houses. But after dealing with the most ridiculous "balloon guy" this Saturday, it will be the last time we come. He sets up an area in front of the toddler section and takes it upon himself to police every kid within his vicinity. You'll see him tying up balloon animals and yelling at kids to slow down, get off the equipment, etc. My daughter is 4. She was excited to be there and threw her socks off right after we entered. I was right behind her trying to pick them up and get them back on her feet when he yelled at her to get off the bounce house and put her socks on. I quickly put them back on her feet, and after she was so scared and intimidated by the way he reacted that she didn't even want to play anymore. We were there a whole 15 min. I can't believe the owner of this place would even allow this and I hope they read this review and do something about it. As a parent I don't need someone, especially some "balloon guy" trying to parent and police my child. We will be going elsewhere from now on.
I took my 6 year old to Xtreme Play, today. Overall, it was a good place for her to run around and burn off some energy. Prices are cheaper here. Compared to The Fun Factory in Salisbury (food and drinks). Great place for younger kids (2-10) to play with a good atmosphere. Two reasons I couldn't give it 5 stars: 1. Kids were burning up in that place. It should be cooler in there. My daughter was drenched in sweat. 2. Cleanliness issues with the restroom and overall seating areas. Other than that, great place to go when it's too hot outside or raining. We would go back again.
The young girl at the front was very informative & kind. The kids had a blast. Blow ups are definitely not new. But do the job. Recommend this place!
Highly recommend!!!! We visited while in Concord for the weekend and needed someplace to let the child (7 yo) to blow off steam and burn off his energy. He loved every second of jumping, climbing, sliding, and running all over the place while I sat on a blue velvet couch and watched from afar. Food & Beverages are sold Separate area for children 3 & under
This place was 80 degrees when we went and I was worried about germs the whole time. The couches for adults were gross so I stood the whole time. If the structures were permanent vs blow ups it might be nicer and they should sell alcohol to distract from all the things. We were there for a bday and the kids did have fun. It's not adult friendly.
We always love bringing the kids here especially on rainy days that they just need to get some energy out. The entry price is so cheap compared to other options and you are not limited by any time frame aside from whir operation hours. The kids get to run around and be kids and parents can try to relax just a little.

Went to a chili cook-off here where 100% of the proceeds went to blood cancer research. That's awesome! We voted for chili #4. Everyone very friendly. Will be back. Recommend!
This is the first place in the 4 months since my daughter was born that has an actual changing table (not a crusty and rusty koala care one like youd see anywhere else) AND the little paper mats, AND a trashcan for diapers. I hate that yall are closing. The beer is amazing, and you're the most accommodating to moms of little people. Thank you so much for existing and caring about moms ❤️
Wonderful brewery with a homey atmosphere that makes me feel welcome. They brew great beers and the staff is incredibly friendly. They often have food trucks and events that build the seemed of community. A fantastic brewery!
A great brewery hidden over by the Concord Airport and Amazon Fulfillment Warehouses. Their ranging Industrious People & Reptar Juice IPAs are bold enough to satisfy the craft beer connoisseur while a wide variety of taps service a wide range of drafts. Popcorn available if you’re hungry NOW. Usually has food trucks for lunch and/or dinner. Loud room but fun atmosphere for kids, families and folks looking to have a good time!
Hard to find and in an awkward sport across the street from Concord Airport, but this place is awesome. They have a really nice selection of beer, wine and cocktails. Fridays they have food trucks, but get there early because they get packed quick. Beer sampler is only 8 dollars and you get any 4. Pet friendly also.
This place was in an industrial park which was kinda cool. The beer was really good. They had a band that was good. There’s outside seating and pretty cool shirts for sale. I purchased a hoodie which I love. Thee were also food trucks. Well be back!
Wonderful variety of tasty beers! The tap room is nice and new. If you want to escape the heat and drink a great beer, come here!
Check this place out you can’t go wrong. Large indoor space plus outdoor. Food trucks and a delivery service provide food. Wide variety of beer styles for all tastes. Beers are all well brewed and hit the mark for each style.

We recently had our baby shower at High Branch and it was amazing! We loved the space and got a lot of help setting up. Gabriel also was amazing with answering all of our questions and helping us pick a set up that would work for us. The space for the shower is great for groups of around 35-40, it’s awesome if you like more intimate events. We would definitely use them again.
We really enjoyed this place. They have a good selection of beers. I liked the Hazy IPA. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.
I recently tried Highbranch’s Tart Cherry Cider and it absolutely knocked it out of the park! The tart cherry flavor is refreshing, crisp, and beautifully balanced — not too sweet, not too sharp. I’ve also had their Imperial Stout before, and it was rich, smooth, and full of character. Highbranch consistently delivers quality and flavor across very different styles. Highly recommend stopping by or grabbing a pour — you won’t be disappointed!
Awesome beer at good prices! Bar area is industrial style with pallets on the wall and concrete floors. There are yoga classes and trivia nights. Also, this is some of the best local craft beer in Charlotte. Kombucha, cold brew coffee, and others are available. Beer menus change constantly, so no recommendations there. Highly recommend this place!
Decent beer, bartender wasn’t very welcoming, encouraged us to take the beer upstairs to drink.
Really enjoyed the NEW location at Gibson Mill! Larger gathering spaces, including 2 private party rooms. Looking forward to returning when the upstairs is finished.
Some of the best beer you’ll have. Period. The workers are all excellent, professional, and very helpful. I have yet to find a beer that isn’t absolutely delicious. Out of all of the breweries in the region this is one of my absolute favorites.
Wasn't a lot going on Tuesday afternoon when I stopped by. Mill had many choices of food to choose from. Brewery was nice, good beer and server was cool.

We just left the visitors center, and everyone in there were so nice and welcoming! The kindness shown to our three kiddos was amazing and the facilities were so clean and decorated nicely. One of the best things we got was a list of all the race shops and their hours. I highly recommend this stop when you're in town!
Awesome people working there. Very informative and just the nicest and knowledgeable people you could ask for! They are very knowledgeable of everything NASCAR including having a lost of all the NASCAR shops, address, business hours AND they have free could sun drop sodas!
We came to Charlotte for a week, to see family but also looking for things to do. After the NASCAR tour, we got a tag for a free gift at the visitor center and omg! So glad we went! Best one I’ve ever seen! Some giveaways, knowledgeable and super friendly staff, and we did their county beer tour which gave us a plan as well as got discounted tickets to the Whiskey prison. If you’re in the area, you really need to stop here! We spent one day in Charlotte and all the others out in this county! (We saw stuff even the Charlotte family didn’t know about!)
I need to give a huge shout out and a THANK YOU a million times over to Explore Cabarrus for going above and beyond for us! We lost our trailer on December 16th to arson. Of course this means we lost all our precious, not replaceable things Mom gave and brought into our happy place. We lost Mom last year in April as well so this has been tough go! Well in October of last year we went to Explore Cabarrus. They are a wealth of information and just plain GREAT PEOPLE!! We found and bought the perfect sticker to add to our trailer..it was a Cardinal which represented Mama Bear and NC which represented our happy place. We've been trying to replace the stickers that meant so much to us and put them on our new trailer. We took a trip to Explore Cabarrus last week to find our Cardinal...alas, they no longer had it and couldn't find one. They did however say when the manager got back they would ask him to see if by chance there was one somewhere and took my info in case. Fast forward, my phone rings yesterday and it's them telling me the manager heard my story and ordered one in for me free of charge. I have no words for this amazing group! I cried like a baby and will thank them for this forever! We've now officially replaced all our stickers but this one means the world to me!! It was the last missing piece and now is placed with my amazing Mama Bear sticker where it belongs ❤️ This is me with the amazing Manager, Nick Dorney and where it's now proudly displayed on our trailer once again with Mama Bear ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ These humans are Angels on Earth to us ❤️
Very nice workers. They offer pamphlets, magazines, and coupons to the businesses in the Charlotte area (restaurants, NASCAR Hall of Fame, etc). Would recommend you come here the first day you are on vacation or business here. The next time we travel out here, this will be one of the first destinations.

What a lovely experience! Wonderful theatrics and excellent actors/actresses!! Alice in Wonderland was a delightful treat!!
Came here 3-20-25 to see Dorothy in Wonderland. It was an absolutely wonderful show. Toto and Lion stole the show. The theatre itself is cute and feels very comfortable. Snacks and drinks were available at decent prices. The staff were extremely friendly. Definitely planning on going back!
The old courthouse theater is a great way to see a play. I enjoy seeing a live performance and the actors are always good. I’ve never had a bad experience there. The new season is starting and I am looking forward to seeing more great plays.
This was an amazing experience for the money! The staff was friendly and helpful. The ticket prices were very affordable. The concessions were very reasonable. We saw Dorothy in Wonderland on opening night. The children were fantastic! The story was cute, and the kids made it even more so. The five stars are more than deserved!
The theater is in need of updating and more comfortable seats. The concession stand ran smoothly and with an affordable selection of goodies. We saw the musical "The Wedding Singer" which was a fun production we all really enjoyed.
A great place to take the gang for some great family entertainment. It's a nice local theatre nestled in downtown Concord. They have theatre performances all year long. We just saw an entertaining magic show, called the "Simply Southern Magic Show". It was a great family fun!
Absolutely amazing experience!! Great actors and plays are very entertaining, and they have great concessions.
We saw the Crucible by the Post Mortem Players. The acting was fantastic and the production was great. Highly recommend!!!
