What an awesome time for 15 of us to get together on a girls weekend out! Captain John and his wife crew were very nice and accommodating and the views are spectacular! Take your cooler and some ice to enjoy beverages on this scenic tour as well as some of your favorite tunes to connect to the blue tooth provided! Would definitely recommend!!!
We booked this for a bachelorette party and were supposed to leave at 8, when captain Sam didn’t show up by 8:30 we called and no one would answer. We finally got ahold of him and he said he wasn’t told he was supposed to be there (which was a lie). He then showed up at 9 and we were pulled over by DNR at 9:30 and forced to go back because they couldn’t provide proof of registration. Our captain Sam “forgot” to mention he had gotten pulled over by the same cops YESTERDAY. When we got back the cop who pulled us over informed us that they have pulled them over multiple times and they are fully aware that they are doing this illegally and on a watch list. We tried to confront Sam after talking to the cops and he ran to his car and left the property. We talked to Redmond, the owner, the next day and he was very nice about giving us a full refund and apologized many times. Although at the time, it was very inconvenient, while on the boat it was a lot of fun! Would give them service again if they fix this issue.
We were the first ever boat ride of the season and we had an absolute blast! We booked the ride for a bachelorette party and Captain Lee and John went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. Thanks for putting up with our wild group! We have been talking about the good time we had for weeks and can’t wait to book again for next summer! I wish I could give 10 ⭐️‘s! Thanks again!
Pros: Super fun experience!!! Being able to connect your own playlist was great. Driver and “deckhand” were extremely nice. Cons: Would have been great to be able to jump in the water at the cove for the ten minutes we are there to cool off. Currently not allowed. Easy fix, more of an FYI - Was not told that the canvas roof could be rolled back so one or both sides could have sun. Members of our party kept going to the seats in the back because they wanted sun.
Awesome experience. Everything is tailored to your needs. Even gave our bachelorette her very own shirt. Awesome couple who take the ride with you and do everything to make you feel at home. If you are considering doing this...don't wait - just do it! We had a great experience and would recommend to anyone. Bring lots of music and booze. You won't be disappointed 😊
This was a blast! The captain and his crew are great! The views are amazing! I will definitely be doing this again at least once a summer if not more. Grab your friends, grab some ice and alcohol and go have a great time!
This was an awesome time! What a wonderful way to spend a beautiful Michigan summer day with family and friends! The captain and first mate was more than hospitable , fun and welcoming. We are looking forward to doing this again next year!
16 adults had an amazing ride on the West Michigan Cycleboat. John and his wife were amazing hosts. You paddle down the beautiful Kalamazoo River all the way to Lake Michigan. Don’t worry if you get too tired John will turn the motor on and give you a little assistance. There are excellent speakers on the boat to hook your music to. Bring your own drinks and snacks. He had a cooler in the middle for you to use. There is room to bring your own small cooler as well. Stop halfway for a potty break. It is a great set up and made for such a fun evening. So fun!! Thank you John.

Saugatuck Antique’s is my new favorite antique shop. It’s filled with an endless supply of goods, like vintage prints, signs, tools, and other handy trinkets. Me and my girlfriend were probably here for about 2hrs making sure we checked out every booth at least once before leaving. Once I have my own man cave, I’m definitely coming here to look for vintage items to make the room stand out. Shout out to their staff for being so friendly when you first walk in to the store.
A HUGE antique mall, next to the brewery.. How perfect? The staff in here are an experience themselves, and super fun! Various prices items, super unique booths, all sorts of stuff! We left with a few things. I will be back for sure! Bring your walking shoes!!
The Saugatuck Antique Pavilion is a true hidden gem and a must-visit for any antique lover! This massive space is incredibly well-organized, making it easy to browse through hundreds of unique booths filled with everything from vintage furniture and home décor to rare collectibles, books, and retro finds. The quality and variety of items are top-notch—there’s truly something for everyone, whether you’re a serious collector or just looking for a special piece with character. The staff is friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. Prices are fair, and it’s easy to spend a couple of hours just soaking in the history and charm. We left with several treasures and can’t wait to come back. It’s also a great way to spend a rainy afternoon in Saugatuck. Highly recommend making this a regular stop on your Lakeshore adventures. Five stars all the way!
Saugatuck Antique Market is such a treasure trove for vintage lovers! The booths are packed with nostalgia, from shelves lined with old soda and beer cans, retro advertising signs, and collectible potato chip tins to bins of small trinkets, toys, and marbles. I loved the mix of sports collectibles too—so many sealed packs of vintage baseball, basketball, and football cards, plus pop culture cards from the ’80s and ’90s. The space is huge and very well organized, with plenty of variety—furniture, clocks, artwork, glassware, and quirky one-of-a-kind finds. You can easily spend hours browsing each booth and still discover something new around every corner. It’s the perfect spot whether you’re a serious collector or just looking for a fun piece of nostalgia to take home. A must-visit when in Saugatuck!
I visited this place because I was on vacation in the area… And the truth is that it left me very enchanted and at the same time in love with the things you can find here. I traveled from Wisconsin for a vacation in Douglas, when I saw the place it caught my attention, I went in and I didn't leave empty-handed. I am of Dominican origin and here I found a figure that my mother used on the hall table when I was a child, so I did not hesitate to take it home with me and place it on the shelf. Don't hesitate to stop by this store, you don't know what beautiful antique items you can find, they have a great variety. Excellent price, good service, organized, trained, kind and very friendly staff.
Although the store, although dated in it's overall appearance, is clean and offers a large selection of items at the Saugatuck Antique Pavilion (SAP); many of the employees and ALL the leadership I encountered lack transparency, refuse to assist the buyers (unless checking out - do they work on commission?), and will not accommodate simple requests like contacting the vendor. They will not negotiate pricing; every item is priced at least 4 to 5 times estimated market value (estimates are produced by Google Gemini -generative AI). Regardless of the methods of price comparison, these items that are listed at other antique dealers at a cost of $40, for example, bear a price tag of $175 at SAP. There are a variety of other pieces that interested me, such as a "hand carved" eagle for $95, but listed elsewhere for $28. Approaching leadership is an experience in itself. The gentleman I tried to speak with kept interrupting me and saying, "...there is nothing he will do about that.". And, "... That's retail.". Actually, retail is about treating the client properly - honestly, respectfully, and with transparency. You can't even use the contact us link on their website. It doesn't work. I waited over 5 minutes for the contact information to populate. No such luck. The worst part is the people that hired the leadership team, speculatively speaking, condone this behavior - after all these employees are still working there in spite of the multiple complaints I have read on different social media sites (AFTER I VISITED THE STORE TODAY) while conducting research to find three owner's contact information. I will not be recommending SAP or patronizing the pavilion and I encourage your to choose wisely before conducting business with SAP.
Awesome antique mall with friendly staff. All sorts of treasures, many vendors with very real deal rare items. Plenty of good jewelry, some very expensive and some priced very reasonably. Lots of excellent native American sterling & turquoise jewelry. Plenty of beautiful condition rare antique books at appropriate prices. Here there is something for everyone and a wonderful, friendly staff.
I found this place by chance, and I have to say, I was really impressed! The booths are packed with a fantastic array of specialty items, all at great prices. I had such a fun time exploring, but I only made it through half the aisles in over an hour—there's just so much to see! I can't wait to come back on my next trip to Michigan and check out everything I missed.

Very friendly staff and she was very helpful with the wine tasting/selection. Really cool gallery with a lot of different pieces to look at. It’s a unique store and it’s nice that you can walk around and shop with your wine.
Wine shop was great and pricing was not crazy. There were many different options and art mixed in around the store. There is also a wine bar and a cooler with bubbly drinks and cheese.
We visit the gallery each time we visit Douglas Saugatuck. Love the art, love the wine love the staff. Staff is friendly and informative.
Stroll the wonderful gallery with a glass of excellent wine or stop and select from a robust offering of great wines to go!
Biggest gallery in the area with a wine bar and store. Nice place to spend time and find something to your liking.
Beautiful artwork and SUPER wine selection, tasting etc - caring, thoughtful team run a perfect spot to enjoy an afternoon!
Gorgeous gallery. I always wanted to stop here. Literally for years and I finally did it today and it was so worth. It. Made me sorry I hadn't stopped sooner. I'll be back.
Fine art and an excellent wine selection.

Very limited parking. Secluded atmosphere. Stunning views of Lake Michigan. Some historical markers of this location. The staircase is a killer!
Cute little park surrounded by private beaches on both sides. Parking available at the top (had open parking when I stopped by on a Monday around 5pm) and steps down to the beach. Cool historical marker at the top with some history of the area.
Small town beach has limited parking. There is additional public parking near the barrel 3/4 mile away with in easy walking distance. Beach is down a set of stairs and is not handicapped accessible.
A gem , sadly without much dazzle to offer. This park is stunning...full of promise as you descend the wooden stairs to the beckoning blue waters below. But as soon as your feet touch the sand, you quickly realize that the park is only about 50+ meters in length due to the shoreline being taken up by private beach property. What a disappointment. Miles of pristine beach inaccessible. A gem of a park...but without the dazzle.
Wonderful beach. Incredible scenery. Very clean area. Nature is a 5 ⭐️ experience!
Was absolutely stunning. Sand was nice and the dunes were great to walk in. Also got to see fish skeletons.
Beautiful beach, free entry, we enjoyed watching the sunsets here each night on our vacation!
Beautiful beach. 100 steps down to the beach. Small pebbles to look at.

Wonderful, eclectic art gallery!! We have bought several things from here over the years. Customer service is exceptional!
Beautiful art...Great owners. Jock and Barb are are awesome to work with. Shopping and buying is always a fun and educational experience. Always hard not to leave with something new. Can't wait to see what's new this season. See you soon.
We have purchased four pieces from WSG and have always been happy with both the quality and selection, not to mention the top notch attention from the staff. It's completely worth the visit, whether you are local or just passing through.
We purchased a painting for our home. Anna was a pleasure to work with. We loved it in the gallery and were given the chance to sample it in our home for a few days to make sure it looked as good as we hoped it would. It does!
Very well curated. Approachable prices. Knowledgeable, friendly gallery director. If you like original art, don’t miss this gallery.
This is my favorite gallery, hands down. The variety of work, the obvious care taken by the staff to thoughtfully curate, the clean and simple setting that allows one to notice each piece of art, friendly staff that are interested in sharing the stories behind the art and artists, I could go on for days. Love them!
Great gallery for Michigan artist who know how to be creative. Very reasonable pricing for quality and very unique work. Stop and shop.

We have been visiting the art galleries in Douglas and Saugatuck for the last 5 years and the Button Gallery gallery is our favorite. The owner always has time to answer questions and has a joy about him that always makes you feel better after talking to him. The art at the gallery will please many different tastes. We purchased a piece this year, it was reasonably priced and we love it. I can't recommend the gallery enough.
Such a fun gallery. Love my new fish.
A gem of a gallery in beautiful downtown Douglas, Michigan. Ask the very helpful owner anything about the collection. He's extraordinarily knowledgeable.
I must have hit this place on a bad day. Owner (?)at desk having conversation with another seated person complaining about how bad business was this season and that they didn’t have enough visitors in Douglas. I was the sole customer (who made a second trip to Douglas specifically to view a piece in the window because this gallery was closed Thursday morning when I had earlier visited) yet I had absolutely no greeting or word from the sales staff as I perused the gallery and it’s outdoor area in the rear. Maybe that’s why business is poor. Most customers do not wish to beg a proprietor to purchase a $6000 artwork…..
Always a fun and eclectic selection of art. I have bought many pieces from here and they are easy to work with an very accommodating. 100% recommend stopping in.
Interesting art for sale by local artists. Art is inside & outside. Nice pieces for decor or collecting.
One of if not the top gallery in the area. Everyone is super helpful. We are very comfortable purchasing from here

We loved Seasun sail!! the captain communicated very well and our charter was so much fun! we used the boat for pictures and they couldn’t have turned out better! would 100% recommend!
I had come from Los Angeles and booked a sailing trip about 2 weeks in advance only to have Bill cancel on me 1 hour before our trip. We had traveled to Douglas and set up our plans to sail, and Bill texted and canceled. We even received a confirmation text the morning of the trip and still were canceled on an hour before. He refused to answer the phone and communicate professionally. I would not recommend Seasun to anyone.
Captain Al and Greg were very accommodating. The ship is the perfect size to thoroughly enjoy Lake Michigan. Individual charters means no issues with passengers outside of your group because there aren't any.
Captain Bill was a great host and provided a low-key, relaxing and enjoyable afternoon of sailing. Communication and professionalism was top-notch.

From start to finish, working with Anna was a breeze! With her cool and calm demeanor and confidence, her ability to put a bride at ease is truly impeccable. She is clearly a master of her craft and I have never felt and looked more beautiful on our wedding day. Communicating my bridal make-up vision to Anna was easy because she was so approachable and understanding of the vision I had in mind. She executed flawlessly. Do yourself a favor...book Anna today and take the stress out of bridal beauty for your wedding!
I highly recommend Joli of Saugatuck. Anna Is my go to markep artist for portrait sessions. Anna makes my clients feel and look their best. I love the way Anna encourages and creates a positive feeling before my clients are in front of the camera. Her eye for beauty and knowledge of makeup is outstanding.
Anna is a magician! She can make a 60+ face look awesome! I also love the lashes :) I was having issues with mascara. I could not find one that didn't irritate my eyes. The lashes are wonderful. No irritation what so ever and I have extremely sensitive eyes!!!!!!
Anna at Joli' of Saugatuck is amazing. She has done my makeup on numerous occasions, including my rehearsal dinner and weddings I served as a bridesmaid in. She always manages to give me the exact look that I'm going for, or if I'm confused about what look I want, she always has great creative input and comes up with a look that goes perfectly with my hair and dress. She knows what the current trends are, what the best products are, and knows how to create the prettiest version of you! I live in downtown Chicago now and she is on par or better than any 'big city' artists I've used. I will definitely use her again and again in the future.
Anna is doing what she loves and it shows! Her enthusiasm shines through the minute you walk through the doors. The space she is in is clean and inviting. She offers a variety of services and the product line she sells (Sorellaapothecary ) is one of the best I have EVER used, and I have used a lot of products over the years.
Anna is so kind and extremely talented ! The atmosphere is so welcoming and comfortable. She’s def my go to lash artist!

After driving past the Cove for too long I’m happy to have finally made a stop. I had a nice beer from Atwater, and it was served in a chilled glass. Service was very nice, and they seem to have a regular clientele to keep things lively. I’d definitely recommend them as a dive bar in Douglas. The bartender was friendly, and it was just a nice place to stop for a drink. Definitely worth a try.
What a fun night! We had a blast at this bar! Great drinks and service!
Great small bar. Everyone knows each other it seems and made us feel welcome. Definitely will be back.
We were basically driven out because we had 12 gay guys to show up and buy drinks and spend Money on food and told one customer complained because we were Gay. We were asked to stop touching each other. Really we have spent hundred of dollars there and to be treated that way is ridiculous. Wow
My local dive bar. Prices are outstanding, service is wonderful Pool tables. Juke box off you phone. I even play the "Victor's" on it from Texas when Michigan wins. Great service. Took my mom here 17 years ago when I moved in. Have hamburgers hours after other places closed. Thanks.
Small neighborhood hood bar. Been here a long time. I used to play pool here in the early 80's. Chicago pool hustlers use to come up during the week. Stakes were high.
We weren’t quite sure what to expect when we came to the Cove, but our first visit was so much fun, we came back a second time! Perfect little neighborhood bar, met some really nice people (Vicky and John) who were so engaging and fun, and let’s not forget Phil the bartender- he was so personable and friendly! Great jukebox, the coldest beer in Michigan, yummy hot dogs, and all around a great little spot to visit- You can enjoy drinks with the locals but you’ll feel like you’re at home. Next time we come to the area, we’re coming back! 😊
It was very quiet. Very nice
