Fun tourist activity that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. And quite educative too! If you're into trains, you'll love this place. There's also a train model set with tracks that can be activated. Really cool!
As a huge fan of Anomalocaris seeing an actual fossil of it on display was incredible! They recently started carrying FromTheShalePlushies Anomalocaris canadensis Carri in their gift shop too! There is a new addition to their fossil gallery room showing an entire reconstructed environment of the lower Cambrian Eager Formation by the talented Paleozoic Paleoartist Saureal! They also have a ton of Triassic fish fossils, Devonian reef shells and coral as well as dinosaur footprints on display! This museum is so awesome for Cambrian and Anomalocaris fans! Can’t wait to visit again!
What a great place. Book the tour of one of the trains! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, fun, friendly, and had a lovely sense of humor. We also really enjoyed the model train exhibit. So detailed!
Hidden gem museum for lovers of paleontology! The Cranbrook History Centre has Carri the Anomalocaris by From The Shale Plushies for sale in their gift shop and a fossil of Anomalocaris on display in their gallery alongside other local Cambrian explosion aged creatures! Highly recommend visiting, it is well worth the stop!
If you or your kids love trains or are interested in the history of trains in Canada this is the place for you! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We did all three train tours and I can't say enough good things about them. The restored train cars were so interesting but the best part is the tour guides! The guide was so informative and could answer all the questions my 7 yr old son who loves trains could think of. I really enjoyed the history as well as learning about the process of restoration. The gift shop could be better but it was still pretty good. They have a huge model train set that my son loved, I think we spent at least 30-40 minutes there. The museum is in a very interesting building with some nice displays. We had a fantastic time and I recommend all the tours!
Best place to bring kids, had to wait a bit for a tour but worth it! Guide was very knowledgeable about the trains, would recommend anyone to visit
LOVED the train tour. It was a jump back in time and very enlightening. So much information. We spent 2.5 hours total in the history center.
Absolutely incredible museum with world class Cambrian specimens and a vibrant beautiful poster display of local prehistoric creatures!

Went to the casino for some dinner at Mum's and had a great time. The place is obviously full of people but all seem to know was beautiful dinner was coming to them. Our server Aleitha (sorry if spelled wrong) was lovely and made plenty of visiting recommendations. I recommend the calamari appetizer and the maple glazed chicken. Bon appétit!!! Came back the next day and the striploin and wings. I had a great meal again. Great place to indulge. Big shout-out to the chef Aaron Day
Jurassic Mike sang some great tunes at the casino Saturday night, but the fact they were extremely understaffed in the dining area where he was singing put a damper on the evening. The poor man and lady that were trying their best to serve everyone were simply ran off their feet and couldn’t come close to serving everyone properly, even though they kept a great attitude all night and were obviously working their hardest. C’mon St. Eugene Casino- you can do better!! And by the way, your cabernet on your menu is awful!!
A friend and I thought it would be a great evening to play a few slots and have dinner out. We decided to get fish and chips. When we received our order the fish was burnt a bit and had maybe 15 fries and the coleslaw was horrific. It was soggy and had no flavour what so ever . I litterly spit it out. I asked for gravy and the waitress kept on pointing to my dish and I asked again where the gravy and she again pointed to my dish.. the whole dinner was horrible .. what happens to the old menu that had pizza and we could choose fries and actual gravy. Not some broth that was cornstarched? If this is how they start presenting their food in a well established casino they should get Gordon Ramsay as this was unacceptable paying crazy amounts of money to eat horrible food . The waitress thought it was funny and asked if I wanted a new, fish. I said I’m thinking not.. I was starving so I left the gravy and the coleslaw and ate what I could if the fish and the measly 15 fries .. this was June 13 2025 ..
When we got there, we were looking forward to a nice hot tub. After a great day of golf. We found the Jets to the hot tub lacking. One of the hot tubs was warm, while the other was adequate. As we left for the hot tub, there were girls talking in the hallway. We mentioned this to the front desk, and they said they would take care of that. When we came back from the hot tub, they were still there. After listening to them for 2 hours, we phoned down to the front desk again. They dispersed after being told do so. Even though I'm sure they're nice individuals, they were loud, and we were tired. Other than that, the beds were comfy, but there was an old muffin wrapper underneath my husband's bed. The rest seemed to be clean, but I couldn't really tell. The price was okay, but I'm afraid I won't be going back here.
Complete disappointment , I took my wife for the prime rib dinner on mothers day , we were served a 6oz steak , the kind with the pregrilled marks on them . When ordering the waiter asked how we'd like it done , we said med rare and an end cut if possible. When the waiter came back , he asked how the steak was , I said we ordered prime rib , he replied that's how we serve our prime rib and walked away. Just wrong on all aspects. If I wanted steak , I would have ordered steak. It appears obvious that the management has instructed the staff not to let people know they don't serve prime rib but steak , as we ordered endcuts only available on a roast , and we're not told differently.
This casino is like being in jail, let me explain ! First things first the minute you walk in they SCAN your identification into their data bank so they know all your personal information. Secondly all table games have been removed so they can maximize profits, no fun interactions with dealer or other players any more. This visit security followed my son into the washroom and than monitored him playing slots, what did they think he was doing drugs in the washroom? Food service is not so great and expensive. If you want fun and loose slots I recommend crossing the boarder into Idaho and playing at the casino in Bonners ferry, the food , atmosphere and free hotel nights for gamblers will keep you going!
I went there for the first time, (it was my first time gambling) and they were so nice, they talked to me about the cell phone policies (no phones allowed) instead of kicking me out, haha. But the casino was nice! The slot machines were a terrible design though.
Gone downhill big time. The slots are definitely tightened. Use to be way better more fun atmosphere before the renovations. The slots are so tight every time I go I get nothing. Easily can play thousands with next to no returns. Very bad returns. Miss the old days was way better before.

Great little campground with minimal noise. Day use currently undergoing construction but when its done it will be amazing! Great family friendly swimming at the day use area. Jetty/pontoon to jump off, small crayfish to catch, friendly ducks and a perfect location to SUP, paddle or walk. Highly recommend for camping/visiting.
This park is located just outside Cranbrook, BC Canada on Hwy 95. It is located near the lake shore just far enough off the hwy for quiet days and nights. The beach is a short walk from the campground with a large parking area for day use and campers. Grass area is pitted by marmot dens but there is a nice sandy beach and shallow shore for swimmers. A dock is provided for fishing and swimming well away from the boat launch. Picnic tables and benches are nestled under trees along the shoreline. The campground is on a hill side with well space, large, leveled sites with good privacy. The park is well maintained. There are no reservations for this park but we had no trouble getting a site on a Monday afternoon in mid summer. Sand boat launch with room to park truck and trailer. No services at sites and no sani-dump but one is available in town. Drinking water but no showers. Nice overnight park.
Really nice campground with large sites. The lake is really nice and clean. There is a lot of wildlife in the area. The park ranger was really nice and willing to help with any questions that we had. We showed up with 7 people in our party and set up 4 tents between a double site. There was still plenty of room on the site and ample space between sites to where your neighbors aren't bothered with a little noise.
Quiet, peaceful, close to town and has so many great opportunities. The campground is a great size that keeps the feeling of being uncrowded and quaint. Currently the dayuse area is under construction. It wont be open untill July.
Very clean and spacious camp sites. Facilities are clean, and the staff is very friendly. Trails for miles leading out of the park, with water that is so clean you can literally swim with fish
I think this place is more nicer when you visit at sunset 🌅 it gets really quiet and the view above the lake. This is Such a beautiful place, I love seeing those lil creatures like chipmunks 🐿 and those ducks 🦆.it’s beautiful.
Small power boat free lake. Great small beach for kids and the lake is great for beginner paddlers but fun for all.
Simple with a lovely beach and fishung dock. Super close to town, mini golf, bord watching etc.. Nice people too.

Great venue, every seat is a good seat. Ushers and staff friendly and engaging!
Went to the Hunter Brothers concert recently, and had a blast! The volunteers and staff are super nice and helpful, and there's ample parking available for all events.
This was my first event at Key City Theatre, and I was very impressed by the venue. It’s clean, the seats are comfortable, and the sound quality is excellent — what more can you ask for? I had the pleasure of seeing Steve-O here and had a great time laughing all night.
Nice theater but the parking lot destroyed my small car. I wish I had a warning because I would have never parked in the parking lot. I am actually upset that there was no warning and unfortunately I didn't notice the steep entrance until it was too late and there was no other way out of the parking lot, at least not that I could see. I hope the 20 dollar show doesn't end up costing me 100s in repairs. A sign is desperately needed. I am from out of town and am not familiar with this town.
It was extremely rewarding for me to play many shows at this theatre over the course of my tenure as the Principal Percussionist of Symphony of the Kootenays, particularly when I got to perform a concerto as a soloist. The stage management personnel - both employed and volunteer - are so wonderful to deal with, and Evan Bueckert provides a phenomenal liaison service between the theatre and the school in an effort to liaise students who are interested in stage production with professional engagements that are happening in the theatre. As I have recently left full-time music, I will really miss coming here on a recurring basis, but here are some photos of my favourite memories here. Thank you for everything, everyone. <3 :-)
Tim Hicks...Campfire Troubadour .......AWESOME show! More Canadian country talent! Just wish we could stand up and get into the music
Great place Good chair angling, can see perfectly. Amazing sound for bands. Decent prices for events. Thank-you for doing what you do. LOVE IT The "Queen" tribute band was literally outta this world !!!!! 💖

Always great food and lots of items. People there are awesome
Awesome farmers market! Definitely do yourself a favor and stop at the drive thru massage for the best massage of your life! Wayne did an awesome job 👍
Drive through massage was absolutely wonderful . They will also come to your home where you are comfortable. Love this !
Super friendly people. Nice music. Fruits and vegetables! Local fare and good wares. Great people to chat with. Nice way to spend a morning!
Always love the farmers market. Lots of fresh baking (come early if you want the best 😃) friendly locals and great food ! Wish there was a bit more local produce … I’m harvesting from my garden already so it seems like there could be produce for sale too. But later in the season there’s plenty. Always worth a trip.
I absolutely Love our Local Farmers Market! There are tons of different vendors to choose from. If you need some veggies, come here. If your looking to try some new liquors, come here. If you want a gift for your loved ones, come here. There is just so much yo choose from! Support Local.

Water was a a bit cooler than one in Kimberly but good music to work out with and the young instructor was good at leading class and changed up regularly to keep all of us motivated. But hot tub and sauna were a really nice ,my lady friend and I stayed an extra half hr there after class . Bottom line check it out👍
Please stay open till 9, allmost always busy as a lot of people till 8 at night and wish an extra hour was available for a late night sauna
the pool itself is great lots of fun but the people there are awful I went with my girlfriend who is a teenager and had to hide her behind me so 40-50 year old men would stop staring at her body and when I brought it up to the life guards on duty they barely acknowledged what I was saying.
Lovely place. Something for everyone. Wave pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, deep pool, lanes, and a slide! Change rooms were clean. Lifeguards were friendly. Recommend it.
The facility lacks many amenities and services you can get from a recreation center in other communities.
Hot tub was slightly cool but I think thats because of work done on the unit just before, overall a good experience and a good place to hang out with your young ones.
We had a great time here. For the last hour it was pretty quiet. The staff was happy to turn on or off whatever the kids requested
I hadn't been in the pool for many years due to the high levels of chlorine. The recent visit seems hugely improved so I presume methodology has changed. Most enjoyable!

Studio stage was amazing place for a small gathering of get together. Was invited for a event last weekend in crabrook! Such a beautiful little town, very friendly place! 😊
Wonderful space for theatre and the Arts. It is very clean, has comfortable seating and lots of parking nearby. Lots of stairs to get in and to get to the theatre, so if you need a chair lift, you have to call ahead.
I really enjoyed the play. The costumes were great. The actors were wonderful. Really played their parts well. Flowed well from scene to scene.
Top notch theatrical performances in a beautiful heritage building and intimate atmosphere.
Great space. Monday night Belly Dancing classes, so much fun!
Love the renos great show tonight ill be back before midnight

Pulled in to town it was Dark & ALL the Fruit Stand/RV spots were NOT well marked to EXIT quick enough with traffic behind my 30ft rig, bearing down on me! Chamber of Commerce advertises FREE overnight & I did:) even though i felt unsure of set up?! At 2 a.m. the TRAIN came thru...lol! In hindsight it was a great place to park as i ventured out to local spots after to find out i could have just as easily walked within minutes!!! Thank you for the drive thru space:)
The board room is available for rental. It's spacious and well equipped with a kitchen and food service amenities. I don't know the capacity limit but it would easily accommodate 20+ people. Projector screen and all presentation accessories are modern and easy to use. Washrooms are neat and tidy.
Sewer and water refill, free. Easy access

Shopping mall
Shopping
Slide 1 of 8
Be prepared to dedicate plenty of time to shopping in the store because, although you’ll need to sift through a wide selection of clothing, you’re guaranteed to uncover some incredible bargains. The quality of other items is impressive as well. For example, I found sofa cushions at a different store for the same price, but the cushions from Winners were clearly of superior quality.
This is a nice smaller mall. There is a food court with only 2 outlets but plenty of seating a movie theater, Canadian tire, Winners and Shoppers drugmart plus some smaller retailers. The mall is in good shape and definitely the best option in the area.
Back in the 80 and 90s this mall was awesome!! Full of great stores and full of people! Not sure what happened but it's a dive here.. Terrible store selection and not good for men's clothing. They talked years ago a little putting a second story or expansion.. maybe it's time? Like many, I only visit this mall twice a year compared to at least twice a week. I drive to Calgary or Spokane for all my shopping now..
Decent little mall with a movie theater. Seems to have high store turn over. Great food court chinese food
Love shopping close to home with beautiful women on display. Thank you for your contribution to our community!🖤
Mostly apparel stores, but a great place to hang out and go shopping with the few other stores. Plenty of seating.
Terrible food court , security is too judgemental on a person's appearance and will kick a honest shopper out of entire mall property . Very sad as a local 😞😮‍💨
Not what it used to be, but I think most shopping malls have definitely fallen out of popularity. The one store across from the winners is really nice, it's currently displaying local artists work, so I thought that was nice to see. No standard food court, I believe there are two restaurants in the mall. The book store is nice and there is a lotto booth there if that's more your speed.
