A MUST "stop and check it out!" Jewel on hwy 7! The owners are awesome and very helpful. Fantastic leather work and beading. Custom knives, wind chimes, moccasins and much much more. Lots of things to take pictures with...a giant black bear, a western boardwalk, stagecoaches and an authentic looking fort. My son asked for the moccasins as his birthday gift!
During our recent visit to the High Spring Trading Post & Saddlery we made an unexpected and delightful discovery that I couldn't wait to share with you. While initially just stopping by for a washroom break, we stumbled upon a hidden gem - a unique shopping spot offering original Canadian native moccasins without any rubber or plastic underneath. Although the price was a bit higher than usual, the authenticity and fine craftsmanship of the moccasins made it worth every penny. Aside from the moccasins, we found an array of other neat items at this shop, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Canadian artisans. The service we experienced was impeccable, adding to the overall pleasant shopping experience. I highly recommend checking out this extraordinary find. It's rare to come across such a genuinely special place like this one.
Great atmosphere. Get a couple giggles 😂 from the products. Free parking. Huge bear monument to take picture with.
Nice little stop on our way back home....looks like they have a little fort and panning for gold experience, most likely a summer thing. Lots of cool stuff inside the store, only got a few things for my kids. Will def stop by again, I had my eye on a few things I might want next time around. Also they have 3 friendly German Sheppards roaming the store which was really nice to see. The puppy is a little shy at first but she finally came up for a sniff. Definitely recommend this place for anyone passing by.
Such an amazing store to shop that provides everything from Western to Native! I recently purchased a gorgeous hand drum cover, made by an artist from B.C. as well as some white sage and a beautiful winter hat. The native jewellery is stunning and there are so many pieces to discover that you need extra time to browse their gifts and products as there is so much to see. The owners, Deb and Richard are warm, friendly, helpful and down to earth people who have alot of knowledge and truly care about their customers 🌹
Super Cool shop on Hwy 7 past Havelock Gift Shop is awesome and the staff are friendly I got some comfy cozy hoodies Great Place to stop and check out Leather purses are beautiful
Really cool spot for shopping and even just to look at things that are in the store. Kids would love it.
Great place but no dressing room and if it doesn't fit you only get a store credit

The Indigenous village that lies buried here has connections to the Iroquoian culture. There are no visitors’ facilities, and recreational use is DISCOURAGED due to the fragility of the site. In short, it is not open to the public. There are no trails, signage, or any visitor facilities of any kind.
This is a native peoples heritage site and not a park that is available for public use but protected lands with no legal access or use. There is no visible signage or indication this area is protected land, a park or rules regarding access or usage but violations can lead to hefty charges and heavy fines.
Plenty of deer Turkey and just wildlife to see even just driving through makes for a nice stop or place to pass through on the way somewhere else

I love this Drive Inn! Please keep it open and if you are doing a fund me campaign I would life to contribute $100. I have only had wonderful experiences at this drive inn with my children.
Havelock Family Drive-in is a recently opened blast to the past. The lot size here isn't huge, so getting a great spot for your car requires you to show up early. Each of the spots are numbered, and have a small hill to tilt you up towards the screen, so even if it's not a great viewing experience, it should be tolerable.c The food service is slow, there was roughly a ten minute wait for their fries despite only two people having ordered before us. They were OK if you desperately want fries, but I wouldn't recommend them to most people. The building that they have the washrooms and snack bar in is well tended to, the only strange part is the door that has a sign reading "Please slam me" on either side. The movie selection isn't great, and they tend to show older movies versus the newest releases. It's normally a family friendly film followed by something more serious for the adults(once the children have fallen asleep). Always expect someone to not understand how to turn off their daytime running lights, interfering with how well you can see the screen. A staff member will run out and ask you to turn them off if they're kept on for too long, though. All that being said, I reguarlry attend this drive-in for films that I'm interested in, or just for a night out. It's always a good time with the right company, and hopefully the business will be here for years to come.
Who doesn't love a double feature at a great price? Consession stand is good and they also sell movie posters.
Nice and clean building, friendly staff, and great service. A wonderful night out with the family.
A small family owned business with great food and good movies family friendly place
Not many of these around anymore. Definitely a fun experience. Family run.
Small but still a great night out with the family.
Good price clean and all round fun experience.

Very friendly people and an excellent beer! After a quick drive across the lake we arrived at a suitable dock to tie our 16' boat. The trail leading to the brewery was clean and easy to walk. There were 3 beers on tap and we tried all of them and enjoyed all of them and a friendly conversation with the owners who were very knowledgeable of the area and gave us many local places to enjoy fun activities. We left with a growler of each beer and am enjoying the Scott's Dam currently. I'm very glad this was our first stop on our trip and should be others!
Such a nice brewery and nice to be able to paddle up to it! The staff are lovely. I was also impressed by the logos and apparel. Growing up, coming to my grandparents cottage in the area, it's really cool to have some of the landmarks on shirts, and made for a meaningful addition to birthday gifts 😊. Thank you !
One of the loveliest experiences I’ve had at a brewery anywhere. They serve classic British style beers, such as an English style IPA, a strong yet delicious amber ale, and one of the most delicious Stout beers I’ve ever had. Julie and Norrie were excellent hosts, who are really proud of their craft and happy to welcome you in, serve you, and have great conversation about both beer and life. Prices were more than reasonable for what you get, so don’t be shy to take advantage and rotate through their taps! (Responsibly of course) This brewery is also one of few (if not the only one in the region) that you can access via car and via boat! What a great way to make their beer more accessible to others. Keep brewing and keep being yourselves! I will definetely be back to this place. I highly recommend you visit it if you are in or around the Havelock-Belmont area.
By far one of the greatest breweries i’ve ever visited. The four beers were delicious and unique. The location is ideal on a hot summer day plus the pup loved it too! Can’t wait to visit again!
This is unlike any brewery I've seen before. It's essentially a cottage where you can come, hang out and have some good tasting, fresh beer! Seriously! The owners brew onsite and their backyard is the hangout when you're here. During my visit, they were having a bbq selling hot dogs and burgers that were also tasty! When you come here, it may seem like you've turned onto the wrong road or someone's driveway, despite of what it may appear like, you're heading the right way!
Awesome out of the way and seemingly truly independent. Great beer, great service, and an awesome dog! Beautiful view, worth the drive!
Two sentinels greet one upon the threshold of Belmont Lake Brewery; a Boxer and an Airedale gives the thirsty adventurer an inquisitive yet friendly once over. The first sight of the brewery doesn't disappoint: a compelling vista of lake, beautiful back garden, and brew cottage brings instant relaxation to the pilgrim. The water used here for the brewing is from Belmont Lake and is carefully assessed frequently by the environmental agency for water quality and freshness. Belmont Lake Brewery is one of the craft breweries that takes exceptional care over its products. The theme that runs through Belmont brewery is care, craft, and creativity. Belmont brewery has a selection that changes every year, but always has an IPA, an Amber, a Stout, and an Extra Special Bitter. Crowe River is a silky, subtle, glorious, aromatic IPA with an apologetic bitterness. Consider this as a beer lingerie. The Mile of Memories amber is one of the best ambers you will ever taste. Yes, that is an absolute statement and precise! It has a long caramel finish, and a subtle malt flavour. It is a wonderfully aromatic and flavoursome beer that seduces one by its sheer power of personality! The Extra Special Bitterr, called Dangerous Derecho is a long, gentle, subtle bitter, with an soft finish. The Black Bear Stout is a chocolate stout with a soft and gentle full-bodied taste with moderately sweet notes. The theme of Belmont Lake Brewery is of lots of love, care, and a generous spirit. It provide one of the warmest welcomes you'll get and the most satisfying beers besides!
Great spot! Worth the adventure. Eddie the Airedale is the King of the Roost!
