I love this island. This island houses the new Far Eastern Federal University Campus. It is a little bit windy and cold here but there are views that are very captivating. :) but you need to know where to go to see them.
I visited at the beginning of September, but it was the best weather. There is a lot of wind on the side of the cliff. From the parking lot to the cliff, you have to track down a light mountain path for 30 to 40 minutes on a one-way path. After the rain, the road turns to mud and it's hard to walk. There are no toilets and restaurants, so let's prepare ourselves. It's hard to call a taxi because I can't get through the phone. It's better to book a taxi by return or take a tour company. The view is beautiful, so I recommend you to visit.
A chic place to breathe sea air, a beautiful view of Vladivostok and the military forts of the island, the wonderful Novik Bay, a good place for kayaking, SUP, yacht ... Only four shortage - garbage, lack of toilets, and the sewage system of the entire huge and famous FEFU university merges in Novik Bay, the mouth of the bay in 8 years turns into a swamp and grows shallow, there is a smell of rot next to it ... But it’s fine. Particularly clear, freezing water of the Japanese island
Cool. Great views.

Slide 1 of 8
I took a train from Malaysia to Europe. Vladivostok Russia was a transit city in my itinerary. Welcome to follow my YouTube channel [Lonely Railway Explorer] and go through my Malaysia to Europe series to know more this attraction. The Trans-Siberian I took are amzing. But one thing I not happy is, the staff in the station are rude, you can't get any train information with them. So disappointed. But I still rate 5 star, because I love Trans-Siberian and love this amazing country.
The start, or the end, of the legendary Trans Siberian railway. But also a busy station for the many commuters who travel across Russia in there daily lives. Trains are usually VERY punctual so be on time. Carriages only open 30 minutes before departure- requiring you ticket ( e- ticket print ok) and your passport. If you leave from platform 1 ( or 2?) Get a photo of the 9288 km sign under the double headed dragons. ( in front of the steam train on display )
It was i think as an Indonesian who travel from Vladivostok - Moscow through Trans Siberia Route by train. it has 9928 km , and i really enjoyed my trip. Vladivostok is very awesome city, beautiful and i love so much with this city. i learned many things from this train, loving a family, respect each other, and sharing is caring :) . i meet many nice peoples. They would like to share their stories about their life, village, and ho to living as a russian :) . Thank you very much. I hope someday, i will be back again to the wonderful city.
The terminal of the Trans-siberian railway! Definitely a must. When you enter, there's security check - you need to put all your bags on the scanner. Beautiful interior from the the Tsarist times. On the platforms near an old steam engine train there's a monument "9288" kilometers - which is the length of the Trans-siberian.
Nice building, love the ceilings, currently under maintenance.
meaneful place to visit, considering it is the starting or ending point of trans siberian train. there is an old siberian train operated in the past at the platform .

Well this was about the fifth submarine we have visited on various holidays. S-56 is pretty special as it has a long history and is a real U-boat. During the war it moved from Vladivostok to Murmansk across Alaska, Panama Canal, Great Britain, and Iceland. The U-Boat was decorated with medals and was the best one at times of the Soviet Union during the war. Then it came back to Vladivostok. Now, half of the U-Boat is a museum and the other half has been new decorated with war items. There are also memorials for the sailors who died during the fights of past times. Inside the U-Boat, you can also see the sleeping places for the crew, living room and also navigation rooms,
A land-based WW2 submarine that you can walk through. Try to get there before the tour busses deliver the crowds of tourists also you have to " go with the flow" through the vessel and outside dodge the selfie sticks. Take time to see the other attractions on the Korebelnaya embankment and adjoining Admiralsky and Theatrical park
Interesting to see inside of the submarine. However, if you're going alone without a guide you won't learn much. Everything is only in russian, but still you get to see how the submarine looked like on the inside.
It is quite good to look around because it is a special experience to watch a submarine with just 100 rubles. It was huge.
Probably one of the only times you’ll get to get inside a submarine, so do it if you pass by. Worth the entrance fee
Visited the city in winter and it was closed👀 but the seaside and view were amazing 😍
This place is quite good. You can visit this place.
It is sad to think about all the brave submariners who have drowned giving everything they have in defence of their country.

Easy to get to this iconic landmark with nice views over Vladivostok. In fact it is an extinct volcano and was named after Russian troops who fought during the Russo-Turkish war. But the views are panoramic especially the bridge and monunment dedicated to the creators of the Slaviic alphabet
To get there from the city centre, walk along Svetlanskaya Street. After passing under Golden Bridge, continue to walk about 300- 400ms until you see a red bricked complex on your left, take the steps beside the red bricked complex as picture, till you see the bottom Funicular station as picture, which is opposite the Engineering School. Walk up stairs beside the Funicular tracks till you reach the upper Funicular station. You will see the Eagle's Nest hill just on the other side of the road. Take the underground pedestrian crossing to cross the road and follow the steps to go uphill. You are there!
A beautiful place with an amazing view of the bridge and an amazing place to hangout with friends
I have been staying in Eagle’s Nest-2 condo, which is right on top of the Eagle’s Nest Hill what an amazing view of Vladivostok! Walking distance to the downtown.

Convenient mooring area for vessels. There are trade and fishing ports and ship repair enterprises here. The cable-stayed Golden Bridge is laid across the bay. Surface area - 4.44 km². The bay juts out into the northern shore of the Eastern Bosphorus Strait between Cape Tiger and Cape Goldobin, located 1.2 nautical miles east-northeast of it. From the north-west the bay is limited by the Shkota Peninsula. The depths at the entrance to the bay are 20–27 m. Further towards the top of the bay they gradually decrease. Depths at the berths range from 5.2 to 15.2 meters. The soil at the bottom is muddy. The shores of the Golden Horn Bay, initially mostly hilly and steep, have been artificially leveled and in some places expanded for port facilities. The shore of the top of the bay is low, and the valley through which the Explanation River flows opens up to it. Almost along its entire length, the shores are reinforced with walls and equipped with berths and piers. A set in the style of a partisan village was built nearby. There is somewhere to eat. There is a shooting range (crossbow, air guns and military weapons - but it only has blank cartridges). The road to the battery is a dirt road, but in good condition.

Nice historical Arch in Central Park near seaside walk. Eventhou it is old but kept very well. Nearby few other interesting places to visit and also war memorial, church, submarine and much more.
Tucked away in the trees but found by masses of tourists for a good photo opportunity. An interesting structure with four arches between the four columns. Smaller than I expected in Russia! Take the walk up the hill for a look at Gorky theater if you in the area.
So beautiful. Good place to take a walk or pictures. Close from submarine park so dont miss it.
Beautiful building very close to the center. And if go there don't miss the fortress museum located right in front of it.
These gates are located in the city center. I passed by casually and I liked immediately this construction. Full of trees all around make even a better impression. The arch is really well constructed. I really recommend this place for a visit.
winter fairy tale for children and adults
The arch was built in honor of the visit to our city in honor of the Prince Nicolas the heir to the royal throne - when he visited Vladivostok in 1981. To expand his horizons, Nikolai Alexandrovich made a world trip at that time and the sea stage of the Tsarevich’s journey just ended in Vladivostok. Local authorities, learning about this, decided in honor of the arrival of the distinguished guest to build the Arc de Triomphe, which should further emphasize the solemnity of the event. Given the fact that the prince arrived in Vladivostok by sea, the place for future construction was chosen with all scrupulousness and thoroughness - it was decided to build the Triumphal Gate on Admiral's Marina. The choice was largely influenced by the fact that not far from the chosen place is the coast of the famous Golden Horn Bay. It was here that the founders of our city once landed, and it was from here that Vladivostok subsequently began. The heir to the royal throne during his visit laid not only a monument to Admiral Nevelsky, a dry dock for repairing ships, but also a new railway with a stone station - all these structures were preserved in good condition, and sow the day. According to historians, the visit of the crown prince contributed to the rapid development of the city. The arch itself consists of four, separately standing, stone foundations with gray-yellow walls erected on them, decorated in turn with ancient Russian multi-colored ornaments. The building is completed by a light blue roof with blue ridges, resembling an octagonal high pyramid with its outlines, on the tip of which a double-headed gilded eagle rises.
It's an arch related to the history of the city. One of the main tourist attractions of Vladivostok.

If you want to travel to Japan or South Korea by ferry, that's where you should go. Some shops inside the building as well, and free WIFI!
Good place to sit. Take photos with good ambient light.
(Translated by Google) To be honest, the Marine Station itself is not as interesting as the view from it to a person arriving in Vladivostok for the first time, and, by and large, seeing the sea and a large port for the first time. Excellent view of the Golden Horn Bay and the Golden Bridge. A sundial made from a bollard for mooring ships is an original solution.

The Marine Station has been operating since 1909, was built under Nikita Khrushchev, who ordered that the city of Vladivostok become no worse than San Francisco, as he was fascinated by the city on the hills near the coast of the sea. According to the architects, the building made of concrete and glass was supposed to resemble a ship. The Marine Terminal is the starting point for cargo and passenger ferries running to and from Korea, Japan and back. Also, in recent years, from May to August, tourist liners with tourists from foreign countries are moored at the pier of the Marine Station, most of them are tourists from the Asia-Pacific region, but not in large numbers from Europe. There are ticket offices in the station building, there is a waiting room, many souvenir shops with tourist goods, here you can buy very good Chinese tea, and there is a small bar counter near the exit to the platform. On the top floor of the station there is a cozy restaurant, from where in good weather there are beautiful views of the Golden Horn Bay, the bridge, and the Eagle's Nest hill. You can come here with both your loved ones and friends; here you can have a good time, try out the cuisine, chat, and take memorable photographs.

There is only liquid soap, there is only one hand dryer and it doesn't work and you have to pay 20 rubles... it's a public place... if you charge for the toilet then clean it! Disrespect for people! Total unsanitary conditions! Неуважение к людям! Полная антисанитария!

Terrific woods! I also met a sleeping cat while climbing.
Amazingly beautiful. Just wish there were other places like this in our district. We should protect, reserve and beautify the nature around us as that is what we leave to our children.
Not very big, the garden comprises several nice areas) beautiful in any season)) in winter good for skiing
