Menu alla carta non proprio economico ma vengono proposti anche due menu a prezzo fisso. Uno £ 6.95 con monopiatto a scelta. Il secondo £ 10.45 con tre portate a scelta di cui un antipasto un secondo e il dolce o caffè/tè (non pervenuto!).
Qualità più alta dall'ordinario cinese.
Birre da 33 cl Singha e Chang £ 3.70 a bottiglia a mio avviso care.

I’ve just been for an afternoon cooking class here where we were hosted by Pom, Leyla and Noon.
The class was amazing, it took 2 hours and we were taught how to cook dumplings and massam curry, which we then had the pleasure of sitting down to eat it.
The setup and Pon’s guidance were really clear and easy to follow. I had so much fun and will definitely be going to another!

My sister and I attended a Thai cookery experience at Thaikhun in Soinningfields Manchester.
We thoroughly enjoyed the whole session. It was very well organised starting with a hot drink on arrival and a cocktail or mocktail with the main course that we had cooked.
Noon and Layla were excellent teachers, explaining all the ingredients and processes in detail and making the whole experience interesting and enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this as a fun thing to do with family and/or friends. We left with an apron, a book of recipes, a 15% discount voucher for the restaurant and leftovers from the starter and main course we had cooked.

I ate here with my son this afternoon. We had a main each and shared a side dish. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food, it was delicious, fresh and well presented. They were good portion sizes, plenty for us and it wasn’t a long wait. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. The young lady serving us was friendly, polite and also helpful when we enquired about different dishes. £44 for our meals and a drink each was good value. The food itself was flavoursome and fragrant, however with the curry dish the portion size was extremely small, you barely get much meat.
The noodle dish was generous with the prawns, but not much noodles, the soup was hearty and delicious though but just wish they had more noodles.
Overall the food is nice but it’s quite expensive for the small portion sizes you get.

Beautiful food and very reasonably priced. The set menu is huge. Comes with variety of starters paper prawns, satay chicken, crab fishcakes, filo prawns etc. Then we had Prawn Green Curry, Tamarind Duck, Thai Grilled Seabass and Stir fried beef. All with rice and fried egg noodles. I have to mention the seafood soup is outstanding it will be enough for two as it comes in big pot. So full of flavour and yes it is spicy along with green curry. You can bring your own alcohol too they just charge you small corkage fee. For me is top Thai spot in Manchester and I've tried a few.

Fabulous meal last night, we were party of 9 and decided to pre-order a couple of days in advance which was very useful. Been many times and food continues its high standard authentic Thai food. Service was spot on despite the restaurant being full. Can't fault it at all.
As always our eyes were bigger than our stomachs but we managed to finish it all in the end.
Remeber this is a BYO which makes its great value, of you forget there is Sainsburys Local 1min away.

Really vibrant and delicious food, great service and experience. Phoebe who served us was super friendly, quick and patient with us when we took ages deciding on the menu. She helped us with a couple dishes and shared that the red curry noodles I ordered is her favourite and a good choice (and I can see why!) You could tell she really likes the food there and was keen to talk about it.

Arrived on a Thursday afternoon, just in time for bottomless brunch for my birthday with my wife. I had recently been to Singapore with work and wanted to introduce my wife to some of the amazing Far Eastern dishes. Tampopo exceeded all of my expectations, it was not a busy afternoon, so we had the place to ourselves Hollie and Marie where so welcoming, inviting and could not do anything more for us. Our favourite Thai food place! We ordered takeout before but also went to eat in yesterday. Food was beautiful and fresh as always, and the staff was super sweet, friendly and welcoming. Didn't have to wait long for the order and they happily explained suitable options for my toddler too. Would definitely recommend! ☺️

We came here as a big group on a work night out. Nicely decorated restaurant and attentive service.
We ordered lots of starters for the table, and I really enjoyed the chicken satay, corn cakes and the crispy tofu.
For my main, I got the chicken Bangkok Pad Thai which was really nice.
Good portion size with nice flavours and nicely cooked chicken.
Only minor issue was I had ordered the crispy chicken, but when they brought the food round and said 'Chicken Pad Thai' I said yes as I hadn't realised there was a non-crispy chicken option. So I ended up with someone else's food and they had my crispy chicken (but by the time we realised we had already started eating)
Still enjoyed what I had though.
I'll have to come back another day to try the crispy chicken Pad Thai!

We came as a group of 7 of us on a Friday night. There was a great selection to chose from on the menu with traditional dishes and some interesting alternatives.
Was good that you can make quite a lot of the dishes vegetarian but do ask as some have some have fish stock.
Unfortunately the service was pretty slow, took a while to order and a long time to come out.
The food was nice but I personally found it a bit greasy although it was nice and hot. Prices were good and about average for the area.

This place was a shocker. Never did I think I'd find such an epic red duck curry in this town. Or a take-no-prisoners crunchy papaya salad that zings and sings in your mouth. Went here before a gig, was a lovely meal! The place is tucked away from the main street, and thankfully takes walk ins, so we wandered in and got seated straight away.

The only minus is the size you will find there only few chairs but even this I strongly suggest to go there. The massaman curry was amazing, the green curry is very spicy, and no 4 was great. Excellent. Myself and my two teenagers turned up without booking a table. The Restaurant was very busy but fortunately they found us a table. We have been to the one in Birmingham City Centre which is why we wanted to visit this one.
The food was just as Amazing so fresh and tasty. The staff were so helpful and respectful. Will definately visit there again when in Manchester and take the other half who missed out on this occasion.

Once the best Thai restaurant in Manchester, I was very disappointed on a recent Friday evening. The staff were attentive and polite for which I’ve given an extra star. It’s not that the food was particularly bad tasting, it just wasn’t fresh and seemed overly processed, as if it was ready made, frozen and then defrosted to order. We started with fish cakes, they were of a completely uniform consistency with no indication it was even fish. In the mains we had a chicken curry, with the chicken having that unfresh smell. We also had chicken and prawn steamed wantons, the filling was again completely uniform with new distinction between chicken and prawn. We didn’t complain because there was nothing wrong per se if that’s the approach the restaurant has taken, but it falls far short of the high standards it has previously set for itself.

I was born and bred in Thailand and this is the best Thai fusion food you’ll ever find in Manchester - It is a little pricey but it’s well worth it for a special night out. I cannot find any Thai restaurant in Manchester that offers Kao-Soi(Northern-style curry noodles) and Sai-Oua (lemongrass and herbs sausage) on the menu! I was very impressed with how they executed both. Went twice and will return. Cocktails are nice too.

I've been a couple of times now and have tried everything on the food menu. It was all delicious, I can't choose a favourite (everything) but the staff are great at suggesting dishes to try together. Fab selection of wine and cocktails as well!

Despite going to Thailand I didn't quite fall in love with the food as I'd like. Who would have thought that in Manchester I would find a place that would change my mind! Food is well thought out. The red curry is definitely a winner. Salad was fresh and the sausage is as funky as you'd want it. Great staff and atmosphere. Will be back soon.

Delicious! Tried their special, chicken garlic stirfry and thoroughly enjoyed. Had with sweetcorn fitters which were nice, but the outer a little chewy if I'm being really picky and would have been nice with a proper dip, and they didn't arrive together. Overall very good food, would have again.

As someone who eats Thai a lot and has visited Thailand dozens of times I know a good Thai meal . First the good the rice plentiful the chicken rendang tasty and creamy BUT the prawns are definitely not fresh and taste very frozen and devoid of any taste . As others have mentioned the rice is a bit mushy and tasteless which points to cheap rice being used.
Overall 3 stars very generous a £50 plus bill for 3 dishes expensive . Hardy any taste of lemongrass or Thai basil but overall just ok

Ok. So have been coming to Mackey Mayor for about 3 years. Our go to is chilli B. Tonight was a let down. Portion sizes clearly decreased. I had the Kow Soi with chicken. I have had it many times before. It was smaller than usual and had only 4 pieces of chicken. My other half had pad Thai with prawns. Again a much smaller portion than has had before. Given that each dish is over 15 quid and ingredients used are cheap I’m not sure whats going on. I’d like feedback. Without which I wont be ordering again!

My boyfriend and I ordered their chicken fried rice and vegetarian drunken noodles. They come with a generous portion, big chunks of chicken/tofu. We couldn't finish them all. However, as an Southeast Asian myself, I find the taste for both dishes was salty and the rice was not great either as they are very moist or mushy. Not a great base for a fried rice. Their veggie spring rolls are good. The service was quick though, and we love the vibe of Mackie Mayor.

So I have always wanted to eat at Vermillion having long known about the great reputation the restaurant has locally here in Manchester.
So my Wife was in Manchester for a conference so I picked her up and we decided to go for food and we opted for Vermillion, Super friendly staff, We headed in the lift to the Restaurant on the First floor.
They don't sell draft beer so I opted for a bottle of Cobra lager and my Wife went for a glass of Cabernet Sauvigion, Drinks were well served and went down well.
For food my Wife picked Rainbow Dim Sum to start and I opted for the Korean Chicken Wings, which were very well presented, My Wife really enjoyed her Dim Sum which was light, fluffy and extremely tasty, My Korean Chicken wings were meaty, cooked to perfection and super spicy but all the different spices really complimented the Chicken wings.
For mains my Wife opted for the Tandori Grill Lamb chops which she ordered with a side order of Triple cooked fries, I ordered the drunken noodles which came with Katsu Chicken dumplings, My Wife really enjoyed her Lamb chops and all the different spices went really well with the Lamb and my Drunken noodles 🍜 were absolutely amazing all the different textures and spices were amazing and tasted out of this world, The noodles were fresh and the bean sprouts, corn, peppers, chillies, Green beans etc were amazing the spices really complimented the noodles and Chicken dumplings etc.
The service from Satu(Our waiter) was exceptional, best service of anywhere in the World where we have eaten hands down.
You can pay cash or card, The meal came to £130 for 2x starters, 2x Mains, 1x Dessert, A few beers and a few large glasses of red wine 🍷.
Only negative would be that another member of staff stated that any tips that are paid by card goes to the owners and doesn't go to the waiters and waitresses which we are extremely disappointed in as they make the whole experience.

The food was dry especially the Biryani was kinda tasteless, the Karahi wasn’t a Karahi it was just a chicken curry albeit ok in my books. The drinks were good but the mango and coconut was a tad bit sugary but the Tiger milk was absolutely fantastic.
The service was amazing from the moment we came in until when we finished our food but it was then that it went downhill and we were ignored and forgotten. The couple next to us had their food brought swiftly and then their table was cleared immediately after they were done while ours was still cluttered more than an hour after we were done. No one cared to come and clear it away.
I asked for the bill but even that wasn’t brought until after I asked a second time 25 mins later. I strongly believe if we had walked out, no one would have noticed.

Went here on a 50% off food offer. Food was excellent as was the service. Both my wife and I had 3 courses and couldn’t fault any of them. I was glad we had ordered a portion of fries to share as the accompaniments were perhaps a bit lacking. Should also have ordered some other veg to improve the veg to meat ratio.
Would I go back, probably not, as what would have been over £75 per person including 2 large glasses of wine and coffee seemed pricey.
I also didn’t like the fact that the discretionary tip was 12.5%, but I let it go as I don’t like to a fuss, but we’re not in America and 10% is more than sufficient.

A couple of friends and I had dinner here a few weeks ago. The evening went smooth and food was good.
There were a few items out of stock but it is understandable given the fact that we booked that last slot on the opening day.

It took us some time to choose what to it as everything seemed interesting. Without a doubt, our favourite on the menu: the scallops with chorizo.

So it's not the cutest place, but don't be fooled! The food and the service were amazing. I wanted a soup, and the young man recommended the tom tom soup with chicken, and boy, was it lush 🤌. Pho Cue’s food is super heart warming and tasty. Their garlic butter chicken is a must try, seasoning is just right! The Vietnamese coffee is superb. A very nice Vietnamese restaurant in the center of Manchester (China Town area). We didn't make a reservation, so we had to wait for around 15 minutes, but it was worth it. The food was very good, the service was nice and friendly, and the price was fair and reasonable. Strongly recommended.

Table for 2 visited on a Friday lunchtime. Ordered the lunchtime deal and upgraded for the gyozas and a drink, all in all £15 each. Great value for money. Seated outside as the restaurant was fairly busy but not an issue for us. Only got the name of Jude who serves us but everyone else seemed lovely too! This was a good little find. Staff were slow to seat people even though it was quiet. The food came out quite quickly and was served nicely.

A trip down memory lane to a beautiful spring day following a beautiful Bachata workshop hosted by factory international based in Manchester; led to an impromptu dinner at Suki Suki- famously known for their ramen!
Lucky to be sat upstairs without a reservation, the interior of the restaurant carries a beautiful intimacy perfect for an escape from the bustle and hustle of the streets of deansgate.
Opting to try other menu options, our table order included(from left to right): Yaki Udon with pork as the protein of choice 10/10- perfectly cooked with the right amount of spice and the pork was just perfect.
Bang bang chicken served with the egg noodle was delightful, with the sweet and spicy blended and perfectly balanced. 10/10
Served with salt and pepper chips which you cannot go wrong with!also 10/10
The food was delicious, definitely a welcomed surprise as my sister and I were absolutely famished. The portions were large and perfect for sharing.
Whether you are a solo diner, table for 2/4/6, it is modelled to accommodate any group size.
Now, I would advise to book in advance if you want to be seated upstairs, the intimacy it offers is worth it.
Will I be coming back to try more on the menu? Yes yes and yes! I appreciated how fast the service was considering it was a full room, the staff were very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed!
I haven’t got the receipt this time, but the prices for the quality served 100% worth it and cost about £37.29- this includes a glass of white wine.

The food here is delicious, the ramen is full of flavor and clearly made with care. Definitely one of the best I’ve had in the city. However, the service could use some improvement. Drinks were brought out halfway through the meal, after we’d already finished our starters, which made things feel a bit disorganized.
The table layout is also something they might want to reconsider. The seating is quite tight, and we were placed so close to the next table that we could hear every bit of their (loud) conversation and I’m sure they could hear ours too. It’s not ideal for a comfortable or relaxed dining experience.
That being said, the quality of the food really stands out. If they polished up the service flow and improved the table spacing, it would easily be a five-star spot.

I ordered the Phở Đặc Biệt, and it was really good! The broth was deeply aromatic and bursting with rich flavors—hands down the best pho I’ve had in a long time. The Cà Phê Special was loaded with a fantastic mix of rare steak, shin of beef, beef flank, chicken, pork belly, pork roll, and king prawns.

A friend recommended Cap he Viet and the location is convenient albeit doesn't look like much from the outside.
When we entered it was busy and we were asked to wait in the supermarket area. Which is tiny. So we kinda just stood around for 10 minutes until a table became free. The supermarket was so small it was awkward when someone else wanted to get past. You had to do this shuffle.
We were shown our table and the place is clean but basic. Our order was taken promptly and had no issues.
The food also arrived quickly and OMG it was amazing. Before long I was stuffed but was busy trying my wife's dish too. The spring rolls were the highlight IMO. I loved them!
If you want great food and what feels like an authentic experience then you can't go wrong! Next time I'm in Manchester, we will definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning. The pho has lovely aroma and tastes really light but busting with flavour. It's tasty and filling. This is a really good place to try Vietnamese food if you never had because it really delivers.

Went in for a midweek lunch with my mum and toddler to try the £10 lunch plus drink deal. I'm so glad we did. We could choose where to sit and decided to sit near the fireplace which is super cosy. The service from the lady at the bar was exceptional. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name but she is a credit to the place. Nothing was too much trouble, super chatty and wonderfully kind to my son. The food was really delicious and arrived within 15 minutes. The portions are a little small but that is stated on the lunch deal and wasn't a problem for us, it was just the right size for us personally. Atmosphere was really nice and prices are great. Will definitely return in the future. I noticed they do a lot of pub quizzes and tribute nights which sound good. Wheelchair accessible and also dog friendly. Great place for anyone. Would recommend

We orders two amazing starters which were incredible. For mains we had the sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly! And the black sticks burger which was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time.

I booked a table for 4 for Sunday lunch, just before Christmas. The pub itself is beautiful, outside & inside, after it's much awaited renovation. It is gorgeous inside, with cosy nooks everywhere. We ordered two roast beef dishes, a vegetarian dish & a roast chicken dish. The food was restaurant quality. It looked wonderful & tasted even better. And importantly, hot plates, so the food stayed hot for the duration of the meal. Dionne the landlady, is very friendly & welcoming. Issy, one of the bar staff, whom I have met on three occasions, is excellent. She has remembered me each time & is extremely personable & efficient. Dionne understands very well that chefs & bar staff can make or break a pub/restaurant. Long may "The Famous Crown" continue!

Came here with my girlfriend and had a fantastic experience. The food was outstanding—she's been to Japan and said this was the most authentic Japanese cuisine she's had outside of the country. Atmosphere is nice and you can book the tatami area which is really nice. Staff very efficient and polite. Food came in like 10 minutes which at first I loved because I was starving but I think preparation was a bit rushed (sashimi was a bit thick/ not cold enough, nigiri was a bit big, ramen was tasteless, barely any salmon in temaki). I read that this was the best tempura in Manchester and was disappointed - it was okay, nothing special. I came after I saw a instagram promotion and feel like I was naive 🤣

What a little gem! I would highly recommend and will definitely go back. We enjoyed so much we ordered seconds! The sushi was delicious, highly recommend the King Prawn Dragon Roll and Katsu Curry. Food came in less than 15 minutes and service was fantastic. Thanks for an amazing meal!

this is absolutely my favourite sushi restaurant in manchester, always my go-to for dates and birthdays. the staff are very friendly, the food is incredible with lots of options, the restaurant is always clean and decorated beautifully. the food comes out quickly and hot. i love it here!! 💓

I love this place so much! We we early for our booking and the chef was nice enough to let us inside while we waiting for the waitress arrived. The service was outstanding and the food was even better. Its a great atmosphere and awesome place to get some really cool pictures as they let your try on Kimonos.

We went for my cousins birthday meal. The food was really good and the customer service was top notch. I would recommend everyone to go and try. They gave us a complementary gift at the end- a bowl and chopstick set which was beautiful.

had the most amazing birthday dinner at Zen Sushiya and genuinely can’t praise it enough. We were seated in the private tatami room, which added such a calm and authentic atmosphere to the evening — it felt like a little escape to Japan.
The food was absolutely incredible. The takoyaki was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour, and the 25-piece sashimi platter was not only beautifully presented but also so fresh and delicious — ideal for sharing.
What truly set this experience apart, though, was the thoughtful gesture from the staff. They surprised me with a souvenir gift set for my birthday — something no other restaurant has ever done for me. It was so unexpected and kind, and really made the night feel extra special.
From the ambiance to the food to the heartfelt service, Zen Sushiya exceeded all expectations. Can’t wait to come back again!

So happy to find this little Thai shop nearby, run by Thai people! It looks mainly for takeaway, but there are two small tables if you want to eat in — very cozy atmosphere. The owner is super friendly too!
The food was way better than I expected — really authentic and made with care. We had the Thai Red Curry, Pad Thai, Thai Spicy Fish Cakes, and Tom Yum Soup. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the Tom Yum Soup was absolutely amazing — the perfect balance of spicy and sour. Honestly the best one I’ve had in Manchester!
I’ll definitely come back often just for that soup. Highly recommended!

I ordered food from here tonight and loved it. The woman on the phone was very kind and knowledgeable about what is vegan and what can be made vegan. I got the papaya salad vegan and it was very delicious, 10/10. I asked for it extra spicy and it was perfect. The green curry was fantastic as well, very flavorful. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for delicious Thai food.
