Despite that we visited this café to grab some breakfast and we got a seat straight away. The place looked popular as there were people sat inside and outside the premises. The café looked well presented, clean and a nice selection on the menu. My husband and I both opted for poached eggs on toast, with a choice of white or brown bread. I opted for white bread and you got two slices with two poached eggs plus some lovely lurpak butter. I also had a glass of orange juice and my husband had a latte. The waitress was friendly who took our order and we were given the option to pay straight away before our food and drinks arrived. We were happy to do so as it meant we could leave as soon as we’d finished. The food was nice, nothing too fancy as it was just eggs on toast. The drinks were okay too, my husband said he enjoyed his latte. Perhaps it was ever so slightly over priced as you could probably get the same for less at a local Wetherspoons however it’s good to support local independent businesses. Would recommend and would be nice to try some other options on their menu.

Came across this lovely little shop, initially went in for coffee, then we tried the hazelnut and chocolate square, so tasty, that led to chocolate popcorn, and a bar of Mylk chocolate. I love the fact that the chocolate is organic, the packaging is recyclable and also biodegradable and the inner sleeve is compostable. The desserts and drinks are extra, in total our bill came to just over £100 for the wife and I; but she bought an expensive bottle of wine! There is a vegetarian menu option as well. The staff are lovely and welcoming, car parking is available at the multi-storey but we usually use the one near the train station and like the short walk. It is extremely unprofessional and actually fraudulent to take my payment, a large amount of money, for goods that the seller knows are not available. Frustrating that they know there are issues with the online site and have not made it a priority to solve these issues, the business obviously doesn’t care too much about misrepresentation/deception and wasting customers time. The initial phone call regarding the item and courier delivery was made 4 days prior to my visit, so their attention was drawn to it. I asked the staff member if I could have compensation for my petrol expenses for the wasted journey, to which she replied she would have to ask the manager, off she went again, on her return she said that the manager had instead of a refund for expenses, offered lunch free of charge as recompense, I agreed to this. It was a warm welcome and made to feel at ease and choose our table, I understand some other comments about tight tables, which might be a squeeze if full. Never the less we ordered 2 x cappuccinos, Nduja & Tuscan sausage. Service was very friendly and didn't wait too long for our food, which they were both gorgeous, great coffee's. When entering, you see their sweet treats & paninis in full view (next time) lovely decor with seating up and downstairs, also outdoor seating front & rear.
