We made our way downstairs only to be trapped by a gate with no other method of exit. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for employees to open this gate. Luckily, it seemed like a false alarm, but if an actual emergency had occurred, I worry the elderly guests in particular would have been endangered by the building’s infrastructure. Horseshoe needs to seriously consider some minor updates for the safety of their future guests. I would not feel comfortable staying there again unless these changes were implemented.

Unfortunately the day I went i was told the museum is currently closed down. Not sure if it was permanent but thats all I was told when I arrived. I visited on June 17th 2021 around 1pm. This place was much better just 20 years ago. Like everything else in Tunica Mississippi, just a lack of Pride.
