First, communication prior to our visit was above and beyond the usual hotel experience. They provided all the information we needed to not be confused. The staff were accommodating and helpful. We only stayed for one night, but we kept wishing we’d booked longer in Providence. You know it’s a good sign when you don’t want to check out! The beds and bedding/pillows were so comfortable we were trying to figure out what brand they were so that we can buy the same ones for home. Parking is easy and the house is on a lovely residential street less than a mile hike to the main shopping area of Providence and maybe a five minute walk to the State House. The breakfast was honestly the highlight of the stay, even got the approval of my notoriously picky toddler. The house is quite old and has the usual quirks of an old building, but that’s to be expected. The outside seating are is beautifully done but the downside of the central location is that there’s a great deal of traffic noise outside, yet that didn’t interrupt our sleep as it’s pretty quiet in the house. All in all very happy with our choice and we’re already wanting to return. If you’re going to Providence I’d highly recommend and we won’t be staying anywhere else while in the city from now on.

My room (#9) was huge and lovely with a super comfy king bed and a single, an attached bath, and windows that had a great view of the city and sunset. The staff was friendly and accommodating. She was so sweet, helpful, and her service was amazing. The best part of our stay was the shuttle workers. Al, Dave, and Senkolo went above and beyond for us. Everybody loved them and they my did an outstanding job getting us from the hotel to the convention center. Ms. Joanne was the complete opposite. She hung up on numerous people when they called for a ride and even tried to drive off with the door open while people we trying to catch a ride back to the hotel. The only other issue we had was room service. Sometimes they refilled the coffee/tea items we used, and sometimes they didn't. They cleaned the room every day except for the last day. We got back to the room and it was a mess. They had balled up the sheets and just threw them in the middle of the bed. They only replaced the towels and took out the trash. We were so confused that they didn't make up the bed like all the other nights. The staff wasn't helpful at checkout in regards to the mess that was left. They just wrote it off. We were very disappointed. We did have to ship some items out thug FedEx and Kareim made sure they were stored for pick up on Monday.

Owner John is a super sweet guy and could not be doing Providence more right than by having a place like this. He also has a wonderful volunteer, Aurora, working with him as of July 2025!
