See, they split their 6 ounce filet in two, pound the pieces flat, then coat and deep fry them til well done. The cuts are then served on a large bed of mashed potatoes along with a peppercorn sauce normally reserved for steak Diane. It was also very good, though I think I'd rather eat the filet in the classic manner. Still, the price of only just above $20 was a real bargain! As for the burgers, they were TO DIE FOR! From a modest selection we each chose the decadent Gouda Bacon Cheeseburgers. These 12 ounce monsters are served on Texas toast to which thick slices of creamy gouda were melted under the broiler. We were running late so we didn’t get to use the range, but the putting green is conveniently located and we got to get a sense of the speed which is very fast. Water is found on many holes but the GPS on the cart is very helpful in navigating and strategizing. There is a par 5 in the back nine that is shaped like the letter S and is gimmicky at best. Other than that, the holes are interesting and the wildlife and nature that is found throughout the layout only adds to the experience.
