We went at low tide, which is definitley the best time to see it all. You can walk right out on the "tiles" and see the little pools of water in them. My kid loved splashing in 'em, even if I was a bit nervous about sliping over (those rocks are wet!). Wear good shoes, seriously. Parking was easy enough to find, and it's only a short walk down to the beach from there. It's a proper must-see if you're on the Tasman Penninsula, especally if you're into geology stuff or just want some cool photos.
