If you are into trails and are visiting Bloomington is right next to the Hyatt Place. The early part of the trail is paved as it goes through downtown and going south you pass some cool colorful homes and cross a bridge and into a nice new park (Switchyard park) to finally connect to a beautiful older compacted gravel trail through the woods. The trail also suppose to go further north but I did not explore that part. You can walk one hour south from the Hyatt Place and still not reach the end of the trail.
