Jaw Zaman is an incredibly cozy place right in the heart of the city. The charming decorations, the little birds, and the fountain create such a lovely atmosphere. A special thanks to Maria — she was super friendly and welcoming to all guests. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because this place was just amazing. The food, the service and the setting, all were top notch. The salad was simple but mouthwatering.
When it came to mains, I wanted the lamb cutlets but sadly they were out of them, instead I had the lamb cubes, and I was blown away. Without a doubt the best lamb I have ever had. The flat bread and the chips were equally delicious. Bisho, my waiter, was the icing on the cake. So sweet.
I would highly recommend this place.
I wish I had more time in Madaba so I could eat here again.

Our guide took us to the Food Basket for lunch and it was great. A real 5-star experience. For a start this is a proper family owned business. The owner and chef inherited the house from her grandparents and she welcomes guests like they are family.
Even more than this the food that she cooks is truly excellent. For instance I've eaten a lot of houmous in Jordan but hers was next level. Along with this the salad starters were delicious while the chicken main course was tender and yummy.
You can also enjoy a beer or wine beverage with your meal. We went for the lager from a nearby micro-brewery which was a treat and I expect that the wine is similarly delicious.
In summary if you visit The Food Basket then you won't be disappointed. Well unless you can't get a seat because you haven't booked ahead.

We came to Madaba from the airport to spend some days in Jordan. The hotel manager where we stayed recommended us to go to this restaurant to try some local and affordable food. Amazing surprise. We did taste a minted limonade, with ceasar salade, fajitas and chicken shoarma. What a wonderful and tasty food. In the end we pay so cheap that we decided to come back for dinner. We tried a meat in the pottery with cheese and cream. Lovely experience. We went to Madaba to visit some historical places and had lunch at Medab Resto. We were impressed by the quality of the food, the fine atmosphere and the outstanding attention. Hummus was best ever, Mutabal, Tabouleh, Hallumi…all sensational, traditional and tasty. We ended with a grill mix which was just delicious! I was in Madaba and i used google maps to find a random restaurant to have brunch at.
I found Jana restaurant but finding a parking was a lil bit hard.
The area restaurant is located is such a nice area and the cultural design of the place itself is so nice and calm.
The service was great such a nice guy took our order easily and helped us choose.
Cleanliness was not an issue the place is clean and the plates are clean.
I ordered one Alfredo pizza and one pepperoni pizza with Manaqesh eggs.

Service was very friendly and the food was excellent - clearly freshly cooked (you can see them making fresh bread), full of flavour and good value.

At the top floor a very nice bookstore, with very old books piled up and many rooms to explore. Taking the stairs on the right you access to a lovely terrace and the restaurant, with two wide rooms also inside. Every corner is made with second hand forniture, resumed and taken to a new life and ending up decorating this place in a very lovely way.

Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce restaurant. Une fois rentré le cadre était superbe. Petite ruelle étroite toute en pierre. L'intérieur est vraiment typique et la nourriture excellente.
