It was a destination wedding and the general manager of the resort Mr.P.S Rawat always assured from the start that food and general requirements during our stay will be taken care of. The prompt requirements of the rooms were also taken care of by the staff really well. The other part of the wedding was decoration which was managed by someone else. And we didn't really have a smooth time dealing with them throughout these 6 months. I personally come from a customer service industry and I realise how important it is to form a good professional customer relationship for the optimum service delivery. This helps form trust and few shortcomings can also be overlooked in the final product. But I guess I expected too much. We tried our best to do follow-ups on how our decoration would look like, asked for samples, as for us it was not a small amount we were investing, even though the calls were heard but we were kept guessing till the last minute. There was a last minute extra requirement requested at the wedding, I never got informed whether it was prepared or not. Yes, the argument can be put that I was the one accountable for my wedding requirement so I should have constantly followed-up with the service provider while I was completely busy in my rituals and celebrations. But I couldn't do it 100%. Noticeably the final payment by us part was promptly taken care of by them. (In that also, there was a issue at a point of time). The space is clean, welcoming, simple but comfortable, offering traditional Ayurvedic practices and treatments. Our days started with gentle yoga sessions that helped us unwind, followed by tasty sattvic meals that supported the cleansing process. You can opt to eat in our out—there is a nice restaurant offering healthy meals a 15 minute walk away called Himalayan Yoga Café. For other places a rickshaw or taxi is required as the clinic is in the outskirts of the city. Don’t skip a nice long walk along the Ganges which is reached by foot. Every day after yoga we would receive an amazing hour to 1,5 hour personalised Ayurvedic treatment based on the doctor’s consultations (shoutout to Sunita and Surendar 🫶🏼). The rest of the day we were free to relax or go explore. Throughout our three-week Panchakarma treatment, we felt both supported and encouraged, and the staff made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. By the end of our stay, we felt lighter, healthier, and more at peace—both physically and mentally. It was an experience we’ll always be grateful for, and we’d happily recommend this unpretentious clinic to anyone looking to improve their health and well-being. We hope to return someday!
