덴버의 33 최고의 역사 박물관

인상주의부터 현대미술까지, 제가 방문했을때는 아프리카 특별전까지 다양한 예술 작품을 볼수 있어서 좋았습니다. 생각보다 전시장 규모가 크기에 제대로 감상하려면 2~3시간의 여유가 필요합니다.

너무 좋은 장소였습니다! 넓어서 여유롭게 볼 수 있었고 여러나라의 작품들이 있어서 좋았습니다!

매우 좋은 미술 작품들이 잘 정리되어 있습니다. 항상 줄서서 봐야했던 작품들을 가까이서 여유있게 감상할 수 있었습니다. 하루에 봐야해서 아쉬웠습니다. 한국 분청사기 특별전도 좋았습니다.

2개동으로 이루어져 있으며 전시물이 많아 3-4시간 정도 소요 됨, 드가, 반고흐, 느루아르 등 19세기 유명 화가 작품도 전시되어 있음. 주차는 외부 주차장에 해야함

상설전시도 괜찮았고 특별전시도 괜찮았고, 도시 이름 붙어있는 미술관 정도의 가치는 충분히 되는 듯. 학생할인 있음. 기념품점 구경하는 재미도 쏠쏠.

덴버시내에서 이틀여정을 보내게 되었다. 동부쪽에서 옐로스톤으로 이동중이었다. 여러 갈곳 중에서 식구들의 연령이 성인에서 어린이까지 다양했으므로 함께 들러볼만한 장소로 자연사박물관을 선택하였다. 일반적인 전시물외에 캄보디아 앙콜와트 특별전이 열리고 있었다. 입구부터 거대한 공롱의 뼈가 반겨주고 있었고, 기념품점도 다양한 품목들이 있었다. 특히 콜로라도가 광산, 지하자원이 많은 곳이어서 인지 공물, 암석기념품이 많은 것이 눈에 띈다. 박물관 내부로 들어가니 고대부터 이 지역의 자연환경과 동식물들이 실감있게 전시되어 있었다. 마치 현장에 와 있는 착각을 불러 일으킬 정도로 말이다. 그리고 지금도 발굴과 조사가 이루어지는 현장, 그리고 연구원들이 일하는 것을 유리벽으로 내부를 볼수 있도록 해 놓은 점도 특이했다. 공룡뼈등을 죽 관람후, 앙콜 특별전을 보았다. 캄보디아 과거의 영화를 느낄 수 있었다. 다만 전시물이 그리 규모가 크거나 다양하지는 많다는 느낌을 받았다.
