⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A True Urban Oasis - Stunning Architecture and Vibrant Gardens! The Denver Botanic Gardens is an absolute must-visit! My recent trip was fantastic, and I was especially impressed by the way the Gardens blend natural beauty with thoughtful, modern design. The Science Pyramid is a major highlight—the hexagonal, honeycomb exterior is a striking piece of architecture (as seen in the photos!) that beautifully introduces the concepts of biomimicry and conservation science. It's truly eye-catching and creates a wonderful focal point for the campus. Beyond the architecture, the gardens themselves are a vibrant escape. From the rich green textures of the tropical conservatory (like the beautiful palms and ferns in the images) to the colorful outdoor beds, everything is meticulously maintained. The variety is outstanding, making it easy to spend hours wandering through different biomes. Whether you're a serious botanist or just looking for a peaceful, beautiful afternoon, this place delivers. Don't miss the chance to explore the different water features and the varied foliage! Highly recommend it.

I visited the Denver Botanic Gardens on November 10th, and it was an absolute highlight of the autumn season! The gardens were bursting with vibrant fall colors—reds, oranges, and golds everywhere you looked, creating a stunning natural palette that’s perfect for this time of year. It’s like a peaceful oasis right in the heart of the city, where you can escape the hustle and bustle and just immerse yourself in tranquility. I loved every moment of it and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a serene, beautiful escape! We’ll definitely be back.

The Denver botanic gardens is a wonderful oasis in a busy city neighborhood. We love all of the landscape design and attention to detail. While it was crowded on a weekend, there was plenty of room in the beautiful landscaped areas and walkways to see and enjoy this botanic garden. They have a wonderful shop with some beautiful handicrafts and gifts that are nature-themed. It definitely was worth it making a trip to this beautiful garden.

So beautiful. Even if you have no interest in gardening yourself, an oasis of calm and beauty, with a koi pind and water features. perfect for a mini break in your day, with free parking! nice little cafe, too. When its snowing, the green houses are magical. If you do garden, or love houseplants, you will be inspired. I treated myself to a membership. So worth it, because i can stop in for a quick zen break whenever im in the neighborhood .

Came to the Denver Botanic Gardens on my Denver Trip on the 5th November 2025. An absolutely beautiful viewing for all to see! There are a range of plants to come and observe here, I am not a plant expert but I’m sure one of those would have an even better time here than I did. I did go in November so maybe it is better in the summer too? But it was really hot when I went so I had a good time! Worth going to!

Going to a botanical garden in late fall is always a gamble, however I was so impressed by the well maintained gardens. They were organized by theme, and each space inspired a sense of reflection. My absolute favorite part was the orangery which smelled heavenly! I would definitely go back for either the lights or when more plants are growing!

Lots of great exhibits. Indoors and outdoors. I went during the week. The cafe inside was also convenient. Staff was helpful when I had questions on directions. Lots of cool plants/trees

No water fountains that i saw.Disabled parking fills more than an hour before game starts.Very well organized and courteous people.$23 parking and easy to get out in first 15 Minutes.Bus to transport inside parking but there is a line.One side of stadium be third baseline had shadow whole The rest was baking hot.No long bathroom lines! Very expensive beer $11-15.Ne careful what seats you buy. Disabled people have personal assistants and for those using a walker is very difficult cu hold on to bars when descending on stairs because of wrong spacing of bars.Please Avoid the stairs if you have a cane.

The park was clean and comfortable. All seats provided excellent viewing. Multiple vendors offered a variety of services and prices that were reasonable. I would highly recommend this park of you love baseball.

Coors Field is one of the best ballparks around! The atmosphere is always incredible - from the mountain views to the energy of the crowd, it’s such a fun experience whether you’re a big baseball fan or just there for a great day out. The stadium is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food and drink options never disappoint. Fun way to spend the afternoon! Even better when the Rockies win! Did you know that you can make reservations for the Mountain Ranch Bar & Grille and for $32 a person you can sit inside/outside in the shade and comfy seats and eat at the buffet. Don’t tell anyone about this cool, secret spot!

Beautiful stadium. We want to a day game so it got pretty hot. If you are attending a day game, consider tickets towards the back of a section that has a cover. Loved that they had sunscreen at the first aid stations and had water refill stations. We enjoyed the view from the roof and by the bullpens before we sat in our seats. I also loved that they had a kids food area with very reasonable prices! It’s right by the playground. Entertainment between innings could be more exciting.

This is a great ballpark. It is gorgeous inside and out. It has a timeless look and feel. It’s so inviting you feel like Babe Ruth played there. It’s located a mile high above sea level and the views are amazing. I would highly recommend and you should buy some merch at the on site store and the food is fantastic and reasonably priced.

Coors Field is one of the most beautiful ballparks in the country. There is truly nothing like the views of the Rocky Mountains from the stands sunset games are unbelievable. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed, and very “Colorado,” and it’s the perfect place to catch a Rockies game on a nice day. Great stadium, great vibes, and absolutely iconic mountain views.

If you visit Denver, Colorado, visit the 16th Street Mall. There are different food options to choose from, and you can take a nice walk.

This was disappointing. I am a big supporter of pedestrianized streets and place making but this feels like it has failed to live up to it's potential. The center of the wide street is left open, possibly reserved for buses, though we never saw any. While some very nice and cute seating and other features have been created on the sidewalks the failure to utilize the majority of the street leaves it feeling a bit barren. Also the stores along the street are often chains like H&M & Target and not the mix of interesting smaller local shops you'll find on Boulder's Pearl Street or Linden St. in Ft. Collins. Still worth checking out after visiting the Capitol or the great History & Art Museums on the other side of the park as there seems to be some decent dining options, including outdoor dining, but it could be so much more.

16th Street was ok. It’s a Friday and overcast so not much people out. But if you like to drink alcohol there’s plenty of places for that. Good place to take walk.

This is a lovely place to spend a day. I enjoyed all the boutique shops, the restaurants, and even passed through a few places just to people watch for a while. Quite the gatherings here on weekends. But you can visit any day of the week and I guarantee you’ll have a good time. Check out the bowling alley for extra fun.

Denver’s 16th Street Mall is a 1.7-mile pedestrian corridor in downtown, offering shopping, dining, and entertainment. The free shuttle makes getting around easy, and nearby attractions include the Central Library and Paramount Theatre. Renovations have improved the area, though visitors should be mindful of occasional safety concerns.

A little history here before I begin my review. In the 1990s the 16th Street Mall was a hub for social interactions and shopping galore. Many who lived in the Downtown area would enjoy the peace and serenity of the 16th Street Mall at night. The 16th Street Mall has been rebuild and redesign twice now in Denver's history. With that said. Unfortunately, when Colorado legalized marijuana in the 2000s is when the 16th Street Mall became a liability to those that went there. Gangs, homeless drug addicts, and crime increased and many clean and sober hard working taxpayers didn't feel safe unless they were carrying a side arm for protection. One couldn't escape the smell of marijuana that enveloped the Mall from all the smoking done there. Many businesses closed up as a result of less foot traffic meaning customers were far and few. Even tourist dared not travel the Mall at night. From news reports in 2025 that I have read about the rebuild of the 16th Street Mall now just 16th Street. The Mall part was dropped under a $100k ad blitz. My wife and I had to move from Denver to Minnesota in 2019, but do remember the 16th Street Mall of old before marijuana legalization.

All of the construction to widen the side walks, so many businesses are closed, it was disappointing. And there are so many homeless people, it was concerning. In the city's effort to make the area better, I feel they actually made it worse.

Was a cool place! Very large and a lot of animals! This is actually the first zoo I've visited that had Hyenas, so that thoroughly pleased me! They had this awesome Lorikeet section where it is possible to feed them and they can fly on you but you cannot touch them, which I understand. The Primates area was pretty cool got to see Gorillas up close, some orangutans, I'm not too sure about the Mandrill section but they seemed sad, plus there was a sign saying they've been expressing strange behaviors. OOHHH and they had an area with an Eye eye that was neat. The zoo is actually so large, it was difficult to navigate around even with a map, but not a negative. They just closed a bit early for my liking. They closed at 4 and we were only about... 75% through the park? Also a bit of construction going on. Oh and another awesome thing was all the squirrels and Rabbits roaming all around the park

From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming, setting the tone for a truly enjoyable visit. The zoo itself is beautifully maintained, and it's clear how much care goes into the animal habitats. ​We were especially impressed by the variety and visibility of the animals. Well I was there. The animal was visibly happy, which I loved. The exhibits are designed wonderfully, making it easy to observe the animals in settings that feel natural and spacious. It's a wonderful place for both kids and adults to connect with wildlife and learn more about conservation. ​I highly recommend the Denver Zoo for a day of fun, education, and inspiration. It's a must-visit Denver attraction and a true asset to the city. I can't wait to go back!

Our trip to the Denver Zoo was an absolute blast! The grounds are beautiful, clean, and easy to walk through — you can tell the staff really cares about the animals and the guests. Every exhibit was well-designed, and we loved seeing so many animals up close! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions. The Denver Zoo is absolutely amazing! 🐘 Every visit feels like a new adventure. The exhibits are beautifully designed, the animals look well cared for, and the staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable. My son’s favorite part is seeing the elephants - he could stand there for hours watching them! 🥰 It’s such a wonderful place for families, and we love how clean, shaded, and easy to explore it is. There’s always something exciting going on, whether it’s a special event or just a sunny day surrounded by wildlife. As a Johnstown real estate agent, I’m always telling families how special it is to have places like this right here in the heart of Denver, Colorado. The Denver Zoo is a really nice zoo with a large variety of animals and well-designed exhibits. It’s clean, organized, and a fun place for families, especially kids who love seeing wildlife up close. That said, I’ve always had mixed feelings about zoos. I really don’t believe animals should be held captive, especially when so many species belong in wide, natural habitats instead of enclosures. But I’ll never forget something one of my students once said to me. I told them I didn’t really support zoos, and he raised his hand and said, “But Ms. Fiskus, if there were no zoos, then people wouldn’t be able to see the animals and gain empathy for them. And without empathy, less people would want to help them.” And honestly, that stuck with me. It’s a good point. Zoos can help with education, awareness, and conservation when done responsibly. So while I’m torn about the ethics, the Denver Zoo itself is very nice, and it does a lot to teach people about wildlife and conservation. I prefer an African safari.

We have gone to the zoo twice this month for Boo at the zoo. The first night was great fun. The lights everywhere were amazing. The second night there were some lights but they were mostly turned off. That was disappointing. But, we had a great family and friends outing. The first night not being able to see the animals in the dark was a bummer. The second night we went earlier and we were able to see some of the animals. The seals are my favorite. Since they would only let us go one way around the zoo we didn't get to see any of the seals, penguins etc.

These are very loved animals. I have been to some zoos where the animals look like they haven’t ate in a while or they are very stressed and/or in a small enclosure. At the Denver zoo, all the animals enclosures were just big enough for the animals to survive and not stressed. I liked how we could get close to the wallaby’s and ask the near by staff questions about the animals.

Great place. They are having a great exhibition. It’s really impressive. I loved it. You feel welcomed, all the staff members are really polite. This museum it’s perfect for educational purposes and entertainment. I loved Angkor: The Lost Empire Of Cambodia exhibition, it’s included on the admission ticket to the museum. I really enjoyed my time there. If you are visiting Denver you should check it out this amazing place.

I've been going to this museum for as long as I can remember. I invested in a Young Professional membership and it was one of the best investments of my adult life. The museum is always changing, adapting, innovating and educating. There are new exhibits throughout each year. They offer adult only evenings with cocktails, interactive education opportunities, small bites, music and fun. They offer different programs and lectures for all ages and interests. This museum is hands down one of the best in the nation. I visit at least once a month, often more due to new and exiting lectures and events. DMNS is a can't miss far and above. Oh...and the salad bar in the food area is killer.

We really enjoyed our visit here. There were areas of interest for each member of the family. The kids loved the dinosaurs, space stuff, and lifelike dioramas. Hubby enjoyed the fossils and history. I really loved the minerals and gems. Can’t wait to go back!

I love this museum! They currently have an elephant exhibit that is wonderful!! The planetarium was super cool and just 5 or 6 dollars!! They have a gem collection that is out of this world!! The food is also great! A huge slice of pizza is $5. It was a great day!!!

Absolutely a must-see in Denver. The exhibits are captivating - or at least the few that I saw are. It's quite big and is definitely worth the cost. The absolute best thing is to go the terrace on the 4th floor and look out over the city and the mountains in the back. It's truly a stunning view that I absolutely need to see again!

Very nice museum. Most exhibits have bilingual signs in English & Spanish (very nice!). Very nice dioramas. Cool tie-ins to local geology and paleontology. Favorite areas: Gems and Dinosaurs. The Space exhibit is very kid-friendly. Several optional "extra fee" experiences also available.

My husband brought me here as a birthday surprise. I have a love for dinosaurs, so this was a perfect experience for us. I loved seeing all of the different ones they had and the areas where they are working on actual fossils. I also loved the geology area with all of the rocks and gems.

Visiting the Denver Art Museum was a wonderful experience. It has been more than 20 years since we were here, and it's changed a lot. The experience was fabulous. From the Western and Indigenous art to treasures from Asia and Latin America, to Alaskan art, as well as classic European and American art, it's all there! We're so glad we had time to visit this outstanding institution, and we highly recommend it.

Attended the Camille Pissarro exhibit. We liked works from Monet so we assumed we would like these as well. We did!! Also enjoyed learning about the artist Ticket counter only had 2 people. Glad we pre bought ours so we were able to avoid that line. Included a few pics. Well worth the visit!

What a treasure! We've learned to take advantage of memberships at various Denver cultural centers, and the D.A.M.membership is our most recent. It is so wonderful to be able to take advantage of "members only" events and exhibits that are scheduled at the museum. Our most recent visit was to view the Camille Pissarro viewing and take the self-guided audio tour. The educational experience from discovering details about the artist and the history behind the paintings was enlightening!

A beautifully curated museum with amazing pieces of art from various cultures and ethnicities. A wonderful experience in a well-designed space that enriches the soul. Every piece of artwork evokes emotion and captivates the eyes. Definitely a must see, do not miss one of the best museums in the world!

Very fine collection of art from classical to modern; furniture design to sculptures and totem poles. The building, inside and out, makes for an interesting visit with odd angles and non vertical walls. Admission is reasonable. One could easily spend 4-5 hours here.

Came to the Denver Art Museum on my Denver trip on the 4th November 2025. Big fan of art museums so had high hopes coming here and it didn’t disappoint. Range of paintings and artefacts to see! It’s a big museum too so you can easily spend hours here. Was mainly tempted to come here for the Monet paintings, but was happily surprised by the other display pieces. Worth visiting!

We came on Denver Night at the Museum, I wasn’t expecting a line out the door. Silly of me, with kids it was cold but moved quickly. Once they were in the museum it all changed & imagination began. I am so grateful for all the kind employees & the city I live it. The hands on activities & the illusions of sound & light. They were captivated as was I.

My husband and I rode the Bustang bus from Colorado Springs to Denver Union Station. It was a very comfortable ride. The station is lovely and there were lots of comfortable places to sit and relax. We were waiting for another ride, so we mostly stayed inside the station. We were just a bit bummed that the ice cream shop wasn't open, but found a burger place nearby where we could get milkshakes. The restaurants and bars were a bit pricey but looked nice.

It was really cool to see this iconic historic place and how they've updated it to keep it functional and trendy. There is a hotel attached and the interior has been converted to something like a food court with little shops and bakeries attached. And it is still a functioning train station which was super cool. Definitely worth a quick visit if you're in Denver.

Well as Union squares go this is one of the nicest ones I've seen. It is very clean and has a few restaurants to go to if you want inside. There is lots of comfortable seating here also.

Pretty good. Trains on time, nice waiting area, plus a nice bookstore. Although we looked but all stores were sold out of Denver fridge magnets.

Beautiful building with the public transportation buses, Amtrak & Long distance buses located close together in proximity. Free shuttle up the 16th Street Mall as well. Enjoyed the trip as well as seeing the changes since I was last there.

What a marvelous job they have done keeping such a fantastic piece of Denver history!! This was a scheduled stop on our Guided Food Tour & I was amazed with the history & food we sampled. I will definitely be back!

The men's bathroom was filthy and they didn't clean it regularly. Not only that, but there was only one major bathroom. When they did clean it all the men had to stand in line. It's aging infrastructure... Hardly any place to plug in electronics. That said, it's fun to look at the old building. We also were serenaded by a nice man who played the piano and sang.

Really beautiful scenery. We stopped here pretty briefly, and unfortunately the peak was closed so we didnt go very far, but gorgeous nonetheless.

Wonderful spot. Biked to the top ages ago. Evans having been the territorial governor and perhaps having acted to cover up the needless loss of life of indigenous people, then lost the mountain that bore his name for over 100 years. So it goes.

One of the most incredible mountain drives you can do in Colorado. It truly was the experience of a lifetime. The sights were breathtaking, from the mountains, lakes, valleys, to wildlife, couldn’t recommend more. At one point we drove into a thunderstorm, then above it. I would do this every day of my life if I could.

Beautiful getting up to the road that takes you to the top but that's as far as you can get. Road is closed but there are other parts to see while in that area

We did a ride up for sunset and during the day with a reservation. The views were beautiful and sunset was absolutely amazing! Great drive although the road near the top is in need of work that is scheduled to happen end of July 2024 and last about a year

Drove up around 10am on a Sunday. Beautiful day, lots of bikers riding up (kudos to them!) and relatively low traffic. Saw a herd of goats approaching the parking lot. ‘Hiked’ the summit trail and had some gorgeous views to go with the easiest 14er.

A great and easy way to experience a 14er! Purchased tickets in advance and drove to the top parking lot. There were many pretty views along the way. At the top we ran into so many mountain goats and marmots! We hiked to the top, which was a short trail with some mild elevation gains. The elevation definitely made a huge difference. At the top, we were roughly at 14,225 feet!

Its a great fun place, but it takes like 20 mins to go through the whole thing. So basically spent $1 a min. The tiger was an unexpected surprise and it was not just sleeping. The tanks are FULL of fish and are great, just dont expect to wear your kid out haha. I wish there was a package deal with the children's museum.

Our visit started off with an unexpected and delightful surprise—a wild animal encounter right at the entrance! My son was thrilled to meet Mr. Porcupine, and it was such a fun start to our day. The fish exhibits were adorable, and the shark displays were particularly impressive. While this aquarium isn’t as large as the one in Atlanta, it offered a wonderful, more intimate experience. The highlight for my son was definitely feeding the stingrays—he loved it! We also got to see the tigers, though they were napping, so we didn’t get the best view of them. We didn’t have the chance to check out the restaurant, but we spent a few enjoyable hours exploring in the morning with our little one. You really don’t need a lot of time to see everything here—it’s a manageable size for a leisurely visit. Parking is convenient, with a lot right across the street, and it’s just $8 for the day.

A better-than-anticipated experience good for all ages. Well designed and a treasure trove of marine life. The entire space can be meandered in and hour or so or you could spend all day. Although beautiful and seemingly content and well cared for it was a bit difficult to see the tigers in this habitat that didn't really fit into the marine setting

The Denver Aquarium is such a fantastic experience for all ages! The exhibits are beautifully designed, showcasing an incredible variety of marine life — from colorful tropical fish to sharks, stingrays, and even tigers. Walking through the tunnels and seeing the sea creatures swim all around you is truly magical. It’s not just an aquarium, it feels like an adventure. The interactive areas are perfect for kids, and the mermaid show is a unique touch that makes the visit even more memorable. I also loved the restaurant inside, where you can dine while watching the giant aquarium — such a one-of-a-kind experience. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean and well-maintained, and you can easily spend a few hours exploring without noticing how time flies. Whether you’re visiting Denver with family, friends, or on your own, the aquarium is definitely a must-see attraction!”

I went later in the day at around 6:30 pm, it wasn't packed with people, which I loved. Parking was close to the entrance and we were able to get through the whole thing with the time we had and we got to enjoy the restaurant which was superb! If you get an alcoholic drink with your meal you get to leave with a souvenir glass. I'd say that they need to change a few drinks on the menu but beautiful experience.

I've been to thre aquariums since August. Monterey, Long Beach and Denver. They are all great, but in terms of atmosphere and presentation, the Denver Aquarium is first on my list. The other 2 are just as nice but they feel more institutional. All three were very full of families and happy energy. We are very fortunate to have such an asset. The first time I visited the aquarium was 30 years ago. Since Landry's transformed it, all the displays are beautifully done. It feels like you're walking through a trail of adventure.

A little smaller than I thought but such a cute aquarium! Plenty of open space to weave through the crowds. All of the aquatic animals are beautiful and adorable. We could spend about an hour there and it was so much fun. Definitely recommend buying tickets online since we were able to bypass majority of the lines by purchasing the tickets online on our phones when we got there. Now for my standard comments. This location is clean and well kept.

All tours of Denver should start here. We arrived and were allowed to join a tour that had already started which was nice. The tour moved along at a good pace. My main comments are: 1. The guides should dress in a uniform as the women did in the 1950s, in the state flag colors. It would make it more special. 2. Mr. Brown's Attic, a large long room with poster boards on the walls telling the history, before one goes up to the dome, but which anyone can walk up to even if not on a tour, has great info, and we read every word, and spent maybe 30 minutes in this. 3. They should colorize the B&W photos as I did here with one. 4. They should redo the photo on the dome veranda looking west, which is old and faded, and have lines pointing out differences from then and now. It is poor that they can't allocate money to this. We were there from 12:30 until 2 p.m., but took lots of time. You can see everything without being on a tour, except going up in the dome, but if you are in Mr. Brown's Attic, from where a door goes to the stairs to the dome, you could probably ask a tourguide to tag along and he would say yes.

⭐️ Colorado State Capitol – Denver, CO Spent an afternoon exploring the area around the Colorado State Capitol and really enjoyed it! 🏛️ The building itself is stunning — clean, well-maintained, and full of historic character. Unfortunately, it was closed to visitors that day, but walking around was still worth it. There’s plenty to see nearby — art statues, fountains, shops, restaurants, and bars all within walking distance. 🍽️🛍️ The area feels safe and organized, with visible security presence that gives peace of mind. 🚓 Parking is metered on surrounding streets, usually easy to find if you’re patient. Highly recommend stopping by for great photos, history, and architecture — especially if you’re exploring downtown Denver! 📸🌤️

So far, we've visited more than 30 US Capitols and this one counts in top 5. Likewise many others it's located in the very city center, built in the neoclassic architecture with a dome in the middle - but this one covered with gold leaves. I strongly suggest doing the free tour which starts daily from 10AM on the hour. It lasts slightly less than an hour and passionate guides tell you many informative and interesting facts about the state history, joining the Union, acclaiming the land,... You visit both, the Representative and the Senate House, and after that the attic which is a kind of a small history museum. The cherry on the cake is presented to you at the end of the tour when you're taken to the top of Rotunda and given 10 min to walk around the outdoor terrace with outstanding city views

They offer free 1-hour tours starting at 10 am. If you're into US history and inspired architecture, this is a worthwhile tour. They talk a lot about the different branches of capitol: senate, house, executive. When I went, the legislative process was in session, so I got so see legislature convene to consider bills. The tour also gives you access to the golden dome at the top which gives you a 360-view.

Hello Denver! What a majestic place you are. Here, bright sunshine often gives way to sweet, short rain showers, creating a dynamic sky. Historic buildings stand proudly alongside modern architecture, and art splashes color everywhere you look. It's a truly beautiful, clean city with refreshing air quality, and the lush green of the abundant trees is a sight to behold. Denver is an absolute must-see, even if it's just for a once-in-a-lifetime visit.

Free to enter and visit, good place for kids to understand the government structure and how it works. The museum in the top is great and has lots of educational information. There is also a tour to go up to the dome, but needs to reserve in advance although it's free. A very typical state capitol in US and worth to visit.

Beautiful building with impressive architecture, classic and grand without being overdone. It’s a great place to walk around, take photos, and enjoy a bit of history in the heart of Denver. I visited in late April and was surprised by a light snowfall - picturesque, but I do wish the weather had been a bit warmer.

What a great museum, our tour guide Anna was fabulous. Her high energy got us even more stoked and in the mood. It was pretty mind blowing to me that Margaret did so many other things in her life, and everyone of them were just as notable as her trip on the Titanic. Their gift shop has tons of well priced merch which makes it easy to buy a trinket or 6. I highly recommend this guided tour, just know it is HOT inside. Take a fan.

The employees are fantastic- kind, knowledgeable, really helpful. It’s a beautiful house, full of interesting artifacts and information. Molly Brown was amazing. She was probably great before surviving the Titanic, but going through the house you can really get the sense that she felt a responsibility as a survivor to live a big life and do some good and help others. I did the self-guided tour, but you can also do a guided tour.

A Must-See Piece of History! I visited the Molly Brown House Museum today with my dad, and it was such a wonderful experience! He bought us tickets for the self-guided tour, and we were amazed by how beautiful the home is and how much there is to see and learn. The exhibits and artifacts—especially those connected to the Titanic—were fascinating. The house itself is full of character and history, and the staff do a great job preserving that atmosphere. I even found out that Molly Brown and I share the same birthday, which made it even more special! Don’t forget to check out the cute gift shop behind the museum before you leave. Highly recommend this stop for anyone who loves Colorado history or inspiring stories of resilience.

We joined a guided tour by Katelyn. She was very knowledgeable about Margaret Brown, fielding questions well. The house itself has few personal possessions of hers, but many informative posters on her life. Particular attention is given to the Titanic disaster that she survived. She was an amazing individual!

Great historic house tour! The guide did a great job of explaining home details and contextualizing this home, its celebrity owner and their times into the social and economic history of Denver. All three of us enjoyed the many moments and artifacts found here. It’s great for anyone interested in American history, mining industry, local history and obviously, the Titanic.

Visiting the home of the Unsinkable Molly Brown was truly a moment to remember. She was a pioneer in her time. I love that her home has been preserved so well it's as if she's still living there.

Great tour of a local historical legend. Affordable and for a good cause. Very informative, our tour guide Caitlin was great, fit in a lot of info on the tour and was very knowledgeable. A must see when visiting Denver for history minded folks.

This is an older stadium. It is very fun to go to a game here though the crowd really gets into it. The restaurants all around are pretty unique and pretty good. The bronco fans are also pretty cool to the fans coming from another place.

As a Bronco fan since 1987!! I finally got a chance to go to a home game. Oct 25th vs the Cowboys. Can't wait to come back to Denver again! City was beautiful, the stadium was nicer than I imagined and the hospitality was on point!! Will definitely be back this year hopefully for a regular season game if not the playoffs. But I'll definitely be at another home game next year and will bring my son to enjoy together 💙🧡

Empower Field at Mile High… is still one of the most impressive stadiums in the NFL, even when stacked against many of the newer, flashier venues popping up around the country. No matter where you sit, the sightlines are phenomenal, this is one of the few places where every seat genuinely feels like a good seat. One of my favorite things is the view. On one side you get the Denver skyline, glowing over the city. On the other, the mountains stretch across the horizon. And if you look just right, you can even spot cars rushing up and down I-25, probably trying to make it home in time to catch kickoff. It’s a uniquely Colorado experience that you just don’t get anywhere else. I’m not thrilled that the Broncos will eventually be playing somewhere else, because this location is Broncos history. This is the same ground where the original Mile High stood, and you can feel that legacy when you walk in. There’s something special about a place that has carried generations of fans, memories, and moments. Inside, the stadium is consistently clean and well kept. The bathrooms were genuinely some of the cleanest I’ve seen at any major sporting venue. Food and drink prices were surprisingly reasonable, and the service was solid. The atmosphere is electric, the fans bring energy from the parking lot to the final whistle, and even the way the sound carries through the bowl gives the stadium a personality of its own. I genuinely enjoyed my visit, and I’m going to miss this place when it’s gone. Too many unforgettable memories have been made here, both in this stadium and the old one that stood on the same property. Empower Field isn’t just a stadium… it’s a piece of Denver’s identity, and it continues to hold its own as one of the best game day experiences anywhere.

Empower Field at Mile High is an incredible place to catch a game! The atmosphere is electric, the fans are passionate, and the stadium itself is clean and easy to navigate. Food, drinks, and seating were all great, and the overall experience made for an unforgettable game day. The only downside was the handicap shuttle service. It seemed like there was only one shuttle running, which made accessibility a challenge and caused longer wait times. For such a large venue, it would be great to see more consistent and efficient options for those who need assistance. Still, the energy of Broncos Country and the fun of game day at Mile High makes it well worth it!

Came to Empower Field on my Denver Trip on the evening of the 6th November 2025. Came here on a whim to see the Denver Broncos play the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday Night Football. Whilst the result was a low scoring 10-7 victory, the atmosphere was really good and I’m so glad I came to see the Broncos play because this is something that really interests me. Let’s ride!

Empower Field at Mile High Stadium is a phenomenal football stadium that I had the luxury to complete a stadium tour, which was full of insight on the Broncos History and other entertainment related usages of Mile High Stadium. When I completed the Stadium tour they were working in preparation of the Morgan Wallen Concert that was going to take place over the next two nights. I could only imagine how fun and intense it is to watch a Denver Broncos game!

I remember passing by this stadium on many occasions when I used to live up North several years ago, and always wanted to go inside even though I wasn't (and still am not) a Broncos fan, nor a Colorado resident. Fast forward to current times, whenever the 2025 NFL schedule was released, I realized that my team (Tennessee Titans) was playing in Denver on week one. I immediately purchased tickets as soon as they became available to the public. As a result, my family and I visited this stadium for the first time on 7 Sep 2025 to watch the week 1 NFL match-up between the Titans and Ponies (I mean Broncos). We ended up purchasing parking in Lot B, which ended up being crucial to our seamless arrival/parking and departure. Although we still had to navigate around significant amounts of pedestrians/fans, it still wasn't as bad as I've experienced in other cities with their stadiums/arenas. Also, I'm not sure if the parking attendants are volunteers or stadium employees but they need better training with respect to navigating vehicles and actually stopping pedestrians when letting vehicles pass. During my departure, I witnessed a few people disregarding those folks and just walking in front of vehicles that were told to go. The stadium itself was in decent condition considering the age and exposure to harsh climates. The one thing I've never been a fan of are the open stadium concept especially in cities that have less-desirable playing conditions due to the weather. Although it's pretty neat to watch on tv, it's rarely a good experience when you're in person. But I get it...these stadiums are years in age and go with the traditions of old-school gridiron. Regardless, I think we've evolved and should focus more on personnel safety with respect to fans and players. So with that in mind, having to experience the blasting sun rays at a higher elevation was less than desirable. But alas, I recently heard that there's plans to build a new stadium by 2031 which will have a retractable roof. How accurate is that news? I have no idea. But if it's true, I think that would be a great addition to the city of Denver. Living in Las Vegas and experiencing the wonders of an indoor stadium, courtesy of Allegiant Stadium, I often feel that everyone should emulate that concept. Even though I'm not a Raiders fan, I can sure appreciate the luxurious feel when walking into that indoor stadium. The food options were magnificent - I was completely satisfied with what was offered. The food were typical "overpriced" stadium prices which caters towards customers that aren't on a limited budget. The bathrooms were adequate and served its purpose, but needed to be cleaned more frequently (both men and women bathrooms). Navigating through the stadium walkways was interesting because it was congested most of the time, but it was also manageable. Overall, I liked this stadium, as depicted in my 4-star rating. I had a pleasant time here...much more amiable than when I visited the Oakland stadium (before the Raiders moved to Las Vegas). The Broncos fans (minus a couple of immature guys who were the typical "trying" to act tough when they're around their friends) were a lot more respectable to visiting fans compared to the (Oakland) Raiders fans. My hats off to the Broncos for beating us that day, and although we lost, it still was an everlasting moment and experience for us. Note: Drink lots of water and wear lots of sunblock, especially in the warmer months.

Really beautiful scenery. We stopped here pretty briefly, and unfortunately the peak was closed so we didnt go very far, but gorgeous nonetheless.

Wonderful spot. Biked to the top ages ago. Evans having been the territorial governor and perhaps having acted to cover up the needless loss of life of indigenous people, then lost the mountain that bore his name for over 100 years. So it goes.

One of the most incredible mountain drives you can do in Colorado. It truly was the experience of a lifetime. The sights were breathtaking, from the mountains, lakes, valleys, to wildlife, couldn’t recommend more. At one point we drove into a thunderstorm, then above it. I would do this every day of my life if I could.

Beautiful getting up to the road that takes you to the top but that's as far as you can get. Road is closed but there are other parts to see while in that area

We did a ride up for sunset and during the day with a reservation. The views were beautiful and sunset was absolutely amazing! Great drive although the road near the top is in need of work that is scheduled to happen end of July 2024 and last about a year

Drove up around 10am on a Sunday. Beautiful day, lots of bikers riding up (kudos to them!) and relatively low traffic. Saw a herd of goats approaching the parking lot. ‘Hiked’ the summit trail and had some gorgeous views to go with the easiest 14er.

A great and easy way to experience a 14er! Purchased tickets in advance and drove to the top parking lot. There were many pretty views along the way. At the top we ran into so many mountain goats and marmots! We hiked to the top, which was a short trail with some mild elevation gains. The elevation definitely made a huge difference. At the top, we were roughly at 14,225 feet!

Nice amusement / water park. Unfortunately, lots of people vaping despite the supposed "drug free" park. One lifeguard actually said something, which was really great. Took six kids for a birthday party today and they all had a really great time at both parts of the park. Definitely get there early... we got there at 945 (opens at 1030). So if you want to set up a base without renting a cabana, you can get chairs together in the shade. Food expensive, but not outrageous for an amusement park.

Went to Elitch for Chicken Fight. Dozens of local restaurants featuring their take on chicken dishes. Also beer and liquor tents so 21+ (no kids). It was a nice night out most of the big rides were operating too.

I have been to this park about at least 50 times since its my home park and I have been going each year and some years I would go 10 times a year. Its fun with your friends and the rides are okay, yes they are rough besides there boomerang but there is always one ride/roller coaster that is down but its whatever at least we can ride some coasters. The people who come to the park are horrible though. Every time I go some group of teens are always vaping in line, wearing ski masks, sagging to there knees etc. There is always a fight to. Just last week I saw someone being beaten to the floor out of nowhere. So I would probably bring your kids on a weekday. But I personal never had any problems with the staff besides teens working there hating there job but were never rude to me. But anyways I think its a decent park, NOT the best but its something and it has cool views seeing the mountains and the skyline of Denver. Btw, If you wanna save money just get a season pass for like $69 bucks or something around there and you get free parking and bring 2 people in with you for free too, and you can go trough out the year as many times as you want like even fright fest (haunted houses not included) which was probably one of the worse haunted house I have every been trough. You have to pay like around $200 for 3 people just to wait in line for an hour while the wanna be gangster teenagers are cutting you. I went with 2 friends and once we finally got inside it was horrible. Just tarp walls and pool noodles, cheap stuff like that. I run a home haunt at my house and the people who I was with said they would rather go to my home haunted house and wait a couple of minutes for free btw instead of eliches haunted house. While we were halfway trough something happened and the emergency alarm went off so we all had to exit and had to wait another 15 minutes just to finish the haunted house, but we had to wait in the "VIP" line which took about 10 minutes of us waiting. The fright fest was cool with the actors and props out but I do NOT recommend the "haunted houses" Anyways its an okay park........ Id give it a 3.5 star or a 4 for just the only big amusement park till slat lake city.

Overall, Elitch Gardens is a pretty fun place and a decent way to spend the day — as long as it’s not too crowded. However, what really brings the rating down is the absolutely terrible experience when it comes to food. The food itself is low quality, the selection is extremely limited, and the lines to order are unbelievably long. Some of the rides also suffer from very slow and inefficient operations. It often feels like they only have one person working, and they move at a snail’s pace when loading and unloading passengers. Specific rides like the Ferris Wheel and the Spider Ride take much longer than they should. The park itself is also quite outdated and run down, and it’s clear that it’s overdue for modernization and upgrades. That said, the rides are still enjoyable once you’re on them, and the overall value is decent — but the park would be so much better with improved food service, faster operations, and some much-needed updates.

We went on a Thursday, just after opening. We waited in line about 10 mins to get in. Most rides had 5-10 lines, so had almost no wait. Rides were fun but it's small, not as many rides for adults/thrill seekers as larger parks. The kiddie area is nice with 6 or so kid friendly rides & play area. Restrooms were worn but clean. Food was decent for park food. I think we paid $17 for a burger & fries. They also had rice bowls which was nice. Water park was nice, it had at least 7 big water slides, wave pool, lazy river & kids play/spray area. We went to the counter & asked to rent tubes for the lazy river, paid & found out they are provided. I wish they would have said that when I asked. They provide life jackets for babies & kids. The water park was crowded and water slide lines were about 20-30 mins. Overall it was fun for younger kids but not a place I would go to again unless we lived close by.

It was a good time . Just sucked rides were closed . It was our family's first time. It would have been nice to be able to experience all the rides. Other than that it was cool my kids had fun. It can get pretty expensive $$$$$$$.

I love Elitch Gardens and all the stuff they offer. I would give this a 5 star rating for everything else in the park, however, the staff are so rude and should be trained more properly. I got yelled at by an employee many times during my visit today. I rudely got yelled at by the security for trying to enter after I left to use the bathroom, I understand that I couldn't enter after leaving because it's a policy, but the way they told me to leave was so rude. These security staff are so rude and should be more polite next time. However I do have some favorite ride operators who are actually polite like Jose. This is the reason I give this 3 stars. Please tell the staff to be more polite to visitors for what they can and can't do. Thank you! Edit: Today during my visit wasn't a good visit. I now rate this 2 stars because I was getting food from the food court, when all of a sudden, a worker came up to me telling me that my card declined. It wasn't a big deal and I got back to "pay it", however, when I checked my recent purchases, it said that I paid it 2 times. I would love to get my money back and for Elitch Gardens to fix the machines, I'm sorry for my immature response but I'm pretty pissed off from this. Thanks Elitch Gardens for taking my money.

The distillery tour was excellent and well worth the price of admission. We were able to try pours of four of their offerings and got to keep the tasting glass. I ended up purchasing bottles of my two favorites - Mountain Angel 10 Year and the Sherry Cask Finish. Cheers!

Who would have thought that a whisky and cheese pairing would be good? It was so decadent and paired perfectly. This was a special event with a highlight of truffle cheese. Kevin was very knowledgeable and we had a grand time with great stories. Can't wait to come back!

Great first visit to the distillery. Took the tour and Michael was fun and knowledgeable. Whiskey was tasty and ended up trying some more at the bar. Definitely worth giving American single malt a try, especially if you're a bourbon or scotch fan.

Ryan was funny and kind, and made our tasting very memorable. True to his word, we tried the “heartbreakers” and fell in love with Snowflake #26 Pyramid Peak. Smoky, complex, delish! We had a great time and closed down the place! Highly recommended.

First time back to Stranahans after about 6 years and it didn’t disappoint! The folks that work here are so incredibly nice. Had a great chat with Steve behind the bar.

Amazing Tour Experience! The distillery itself is impressive, but what truly made the experience special was our guide, Liz. She was funny, engaging, and answered all our questions with patience and deep knowledge. The tour was both informative and entertaining, and at the end, we even got a glass as a souvenir! Highly recommended for whiskey lovers—and anyone who enjoys unique experiences.

Was looking for something to do on my Denver layover and decided to come visit this place. First thing you should know is you have to arrive early when they open to get tickets as they are distributed first come first serve for free. There’s 4 entry times in the day. Once you have your ticket you should arrive to the location 30 minutes before to get in line to go through security. DO NOT BRING BAGS! you will not be allowed inside with anything bigger than a wallet!!! The security is the same as if you were going into an airport. Once inside you enter a lobby area with small exhibits on the history of currency. Then you get a short video explaining why that building exists. A tour guide will then guide you through 3 rooms explaining the coin making process and machines and how coin making today works. Lastly you proceed to a hallway/lobby which is literally stuck in time where they house the gold vaults. There you get to see some gold bars which was real cool! Then you exit through the building original lobby which was a true masterpiece with all the marble and chandeliers. It took 30-45 minutes for everyone to go through security but the tour itself was like 30 minutes. It’s an interesting tour but if you’re not a history geek or a coin collector chances are you’ll be disappointed, but hey it’s a free tour inside a historic government building where our nations coins are made! Also keep in mind cellphones will be required off when you enter the building and no pictures or recording inside!

To preface, I came here on Thursday in mid April, which I guess is considered "off-peak" given that it's not the summer and children aren't out of school. From the advice of other reviews, I came here early around 6:45am and was the first online for ticket. When the doors opened for ticketing, there was about 3-5 people on line. Safe to say that everyone got the time slot they wanted since there's 50 ticket for times slot and one person can max get 5 tickets. The line actually starts next to where the gift shop is, not where it say visitor entrance. I got in at the 7:30am tour, they start to let you in through security, but the actual tour doesn't start until 8am, so you have time. The first part shows you the history of coins, and currency historically from around the world. The next part they show you the machinery that does the minting. Fun fact: 17% of USA's gold is stored here. The mint operates without tax payer dollars and actually generates profit, from sales of collectables and investment coins to the public, and returns it to the government. Keep in mind: There's no water allowed inside, but there is a refilling station if you empty you bottle, and bathrooms once you enter. There's no photography allowed, no backpacks or storage lockers. Overall, it was a very informative tour. My tour guide was very knowledgable and always gave us his two cents (haha)

I visited in late May, free tours, fun to see pennies getting made and the history of currency, wish they allowed photos inside. Different stories for all types. Didn't love the show up at 7am for tickets, there was a short line already, arriving at 7am. They thought tickets would run out by 9:30am when I came back for my 9am tour, but can run out by 7:30am in July. It seems more difficult to plan around than it should be. First tour was at 7:30am

Gift Shop— Went to visit the gift shop, arrived at 3:45 (they close at 4:30.) Nice small selection of items to buy. Cashier and “security guard” had their heads down and on their cell phones the whole time. My son could not figure out the collection penny machine, and the two behind the desk did not offer to put their phones down to help, almost like we were a bother to them. I wouldn’t expect anyone to help you if you visit the gift shop with questions or unsure of what to buy.

I arrived at 6:45am to get tickets for the 7:30am tour and there were people already there. My coin collector friend wished the tour was more in depth, but it’s a short tour.
