(원문) We visited the Herbal Gourd Garden and were warmly guided by TCM Dr. Lee, who shared the legacy and vision of his late father along with the fascinating history behind the place. The tour was both educational and engaging — we explored a variety of herbs traditionally used in TCM, and it was a truly sensory experience, being able to see, touch, smell, and even taste some of them. The visit was enriching for both children and adults. We also had a glimpse of the Chinese gourd cultivation in progress, though it’s clear that more work is needed for this area to truly flourish. The tour concluded in the shop, where we saw gourds transformed into souvenirs and decorative items. A highlight was Dr. Lee’s generous session of Chinese pulse analysis for each of us, adding a personal touch to the visit. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and deeply appreciate their vision and dedication in preserving this heritage. While the garden still has room to grow and reach its full potential, the heart and commitment behind it are evident.
