Pool area was great for my 2 year old - he loved the slide. Beach was amazing and there were always beach chairs available. They have two parrots that talk to you and my son also loved them. They also had a real crib that they provided to our room that was very comfy for my son and he slept well. The hotel is close to many restaurants- some touristy ones and some authentic Mexican places that are much cheaper down the road. There is also a nice coffee shop and grocery store right by the hotel. If you have a young child who naps during the day - be sure to ask for a room not right by the parrots .. they can be loud when people walk by!! Otherwise rooms were very spacious and balcony was huge with amazing view. We would love to come back :)

But now for the last 10 years, it has been my little heaven for my winter vacations and I can’t wait to get there in February to recharge my batteries, get some sun on me and enjoy good food and drinks and the friendliness of the locals. I tend to stay in small, locally owned hotels but this time around I had the chance to enjoy a stay at a newly opened luxury condo complex right on the hill facing the bay, right above the water. It is located between La Madera and La Ropa and although it doesn’t have a beach of it’s own, it is so close to either beaches it is a non-issue. Also, they have a nice infinity pool and each of the 5 condos on the 6-storey building has their own Jacuzzi. The place is Canadian-owned and has a solid look and aside the great location, neat architecture, well furnished and so comfortable bed, one of the biggest selling point for me would be the fact this place has to be the most quiet rental I have ever experienced and I have been to literally hundreds of hotels, motels, condos and other rentals in my life. The walls are thick and you hear nothing from outside your place. One night I was there they had a wedding party and they had a good time with a good crowd. They were in the condo right next to me and this place is not very big and I heard nothing from them. I found it amazing and if you are there to recharge the batteries and need some good rest, it sure is the place. You will find a good size kitchen with all amenities you need and expect in a luxury property. It’s an open style so it opens from the kitchen to the diningroom and livingroom, all open air.
