The Museum of Discovery in Little Rock is a family-friendly destination offering interactive exhibits that explore scientific concepts. Established in 1927 and revamped in 2012, it has been a go-to place for learning about the sciences. The museum features permanent exhibits such as 'Earth Journeys,' delving into Arkansas' weather patterns and native fauna; 'Amazing You,' explaining how bodies function; and 'Tinkering Studio,' allowing patrons to build and play with various materials.
They have discounted tickets for SNAP recipients. We made a quick stop and were there for an hour and a half and didn’t get to all of the exhibits. My 3 littles loved the fishing area, it’s an area for under 6 and the STEM room. My older son, 16, enjoyed the exhibits and all of the hands on science stuff. Definitely recommend stopping by and taking more time to be there.
Sharla R — Google review
Took my son here- he loved it and couldn’t get enough. It was a quicker visit than we would have liked, as it was a spur of the moment drop in, but my little family still had a blast. We almost couldn’t pull him away from the area that had the nets and climbing tunnels. We got to see some cute animals, ran into a couple of people we knew (small world), and learned a lot! The gift shop had tons of goodies in it. We will definitely be back, so we can spend a good amount of time and do some hands on experiments.
K S — Google review
Visited the museum with my two kids 7 and 4 on a Friday afternoon. The Museum is modern, clean, spacious and the exhibits are fun, interactive and engaging. There were not too many visitors and so my kids got to enjoy every area completely with very little wait time or no wait time at all. There are 2 levels and we found that 2-3 hours is enough time to see everything but you could easily spend more time. There is a playground area and a play room with little kids space. There is a dining hall but no food available for purchase so I’d make sure to bring your own food if spending a few hours here. There were a couple of exhibits that were out of order but I find that to be average compared to other museums we visit. Overall this was a great experience and I found worth the ticket price and I would return again as would my kids who had a great time and learned a few new things as well.
Joy M — Google review
Oh my god the Tesla Coil!! I think I enjoyed that more than my kids. The museum was amazing and I really wish we could have spent more time there. It’s a great place for kids of all ages to learn, play, and burn off a little energy.
Rachel C — Google review
This place was awesome, hands-on and completely interactive for kids and adults. So much for the kids to discover and special presentations happened all day long. Definitely going back.
Amber R — Google review
It was a fun place but honestly not what we expected it to be. We've been to the kids museum in NWA and this was sooo different. I dont think we'll be back.
Sarah S — Google review
The museum is packed with hands-on exhibits that make science feel exciting and accessible, no matter your age. I spent way too long at the musical Tesla coil—it’s absolutely mesmerizing—and the interactive physics displays had me feeling like a kid again. What really stood out was how welcoming and enthusiastic the staff were; they clearly love what they do and it shows. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time because you’re genuinely engaged and learning without even realizing it. Whether you’re traveling solo like I was or with kids, this place is a gem. I left with a huge smile and a renewed sense of curiosity.
Matthew F — Google review
Visiting Little Rock for the weekend and actually stopped in at my daughter’s insistence. 7 hours later (literally) we had to leave because they were closing. And on our way out we were noticing things we didn’t even get to explore! She’s 5 and had the best time. Our 16 month old also enjoyed. We attended every special “show,” including a story time, the Tesla demo, and 2 animal feedings. The educators Felicia and Nichole were so kind. Very informative and took the time to answer all my daughter’s questions. What a great place to stumble upon.

Zoos & Aquariums
Little Rock Zoo, located in War Memorial Park, is a 33-acre zoo that has been supporting conservation projects since 1926. It houses over 700 animals and offers various attractions such as a train, antique carousel, and playground. The zoo provides an immersive experience for visitors to appreciate wildlife conservation through themed habitats and educational programs. From playful primates to majestic big cats, the diverse array of exotic animals captivates families and fosters a love for wildlife.
Enjoyable morning spent at the zoo! We stayed about 2.5hrs which was perfect for our littles. There was some construction and the cafe was closed for upgrades, but that was fine! We went “off season” and it didn’t interfere with our enjoyment. We went soon after they opened and many animals were active. We heard the lions! The penguins were so fun and the zookeeper for the exhibit was engaging and answered our questions. Great small zoo with impressive variety of animals for its size.
Haley H — Google review
It's a fairly decent zoo, but relatively small, in my opinion, though seeing as how I have only ever been to the Memphis Zoo and the St. Louis Zoo, I can I ly compare it to those two. I had fun, however, and the animals, for the most part (the elephant with stars tattooed on their hind has a story that should be told) seem happy and well-treated. That makes them better than most, from what I've read about in many zoos.
Woodrow C — Google review
So impressed on how well kept up this zoo is for being 100 years old. A major remodel was going on a long with men working hard to get holiday decorations up. Lots of animals and a good walk. The highlight of my visit was the chimpanzee mother with her child on her back walking around their entire home. I got here around 12:30 and stayed till closing. You can always tell when they're close to closing all the animals start to go in to be fed. I almost forgot they have a wooden carousel that was over 100 years old that worked smoothly and all the kids loved it.
Roger H — Google review
The six of us that went had an amazing time. Even with construction going on and setting up of a christmas event nothing got in the way of the zoo itself! Pretty decent animal selection to view and the staff where super friendly and helpful. Will certainly be back again.
Sean G — Google review
I actually love the zoo. The kids have a lot of fun. The layout is nice and beautiful. I love the landscaping they have around the exhibits. They have a nice selection of animals and they try hard to keep them happy. A leopard lost its buddy/mate and was going a little crazy and they had him a friend fast and he seems so happy now. The orangutan that had the baby, also has an older daughter and she kissed the glass where I was so I gave her kisses back and she did that a few times and blew us kisses too. A gorilla had cut his tummy and they were quick to get him help as well. They put their welfare above what the people want and I love that. They also try to have different little “events” going on. My youngest didn’t want to leave the bubbles they had one day haha. I can’t wait for Boo At The Zoo!!
Angela C — Google review
Wow!!!! Love this zoo and will be coming back as much as we can! We drive through the area often and wanted something fun to do with 3 children. We were all in love with this zoo!!!!! You can see all of the animals up close. We have been to so many zoos! This is by far one of our favorites! The play areas are great!!! When we showed up they had a predator vs pray learning experience set up for children to interact it was great! Our favorite animals are the bush dogs (they have babies) the penguins (they swam at the glass and basically put on a show for us while we watched for over 30 minutes) and last but not least the orangutans (the mom and baby are so so cute to watch, we could have watched them all day the mom carries around the babies blanket and they are the sweetest pair) we also love the very unique carousel! we already cant wait to go back! Do not skip out on this amazing zoo!!!!! You will love it ❤️
Amber H — Google review
Amazing Zoo. Such a wide variety of animals, all exhibits are well kept and the animals looks happy. Friendly staff and very clean pathways and bathrooms. The animals are clearly taken care of as well, which is the most important part.
D L — Google review
We went yesterday with our grandsons and it was great! They're doing construction and that was a smidge inconvenient but it really didn't affect our visit badly. The animals are so visible and seem to be taken very care of. The sloth bear holds a special place in my heart because he came running out to greet us.

Pinnacle Mountain State Park, located just west of Little Rock, is a vast 2,356-acre day-use park offering a variety of outdoor activities. Visitors can explore scenic hiking trails with stunning mountain views and enjoy canoeing in the area. The park features an arboretum and a visitor center for those interested in learning more about the natural surroundings. The landscape includes sandstone ridges and exposed bare rock with flora resembling that of Southwest Texas, making it a unique destination for nature enthusiasts.
West side, three quarters of a mile climbed up in about forty five minutes resting from time to time. Rocky but fun trails with amazing views! Secure to hike solo, plenty of hikers yet you get your space and peace, everyone is respectful. The main entrance to the park has moved to the new visitor center so you will have to use the new road to access the west summit picnic area.
Isabel I — Google review
Pinnacle Mountain is absolutely breathtaking! We took the west Summit Trail to the top and oh my gosh, even though it is a very challenging climb getting to the top it was well worth it. You have to do it at least once.! The last two or three mile markers is when you start climbing the boulders, but it’s very good exercise! My recommendation is to wear good hiking shoes with good traction and take plenty of water because you will stop and rest a lot along the way but well worth it!
Catherine P — Google review
Get away to the scenic wonders! In 2023, my husband and I visited this beautiful state park and hiked the base trail. We chose to return because we didn't have enough time to hike to the summit of Pinnacle Mountain. On March 24, 2025, we hiked to the West Summit Trail. This is a 1.4-mile round trip and an out and back trail type with 734 ft elevation gain. We completed the hike in 2 hours. The trail is well-maintained and clearly marked. There are a few seats along the trail where you may rest or enjoy the scenery. The hike offers breathtaking views of the surroundings and is enjoyable while being rather difficult. This trail requires some bouldering and scrambling due to its steep climb and rocky terrain, especially after point-7, where the path becomes entirely bouldery. We stayed on the summit for about thirty minutes, taking in the expansive views of the Arkansas River Valley, Lake Maumelle, and the surrounding area.
Debashri M — Google review
Very cool view from the top. Nice place for photos. Trail was relatively easy(if you’re in shape) and just felt like a stair-master at some points.
Ethan O — Google review
A great spot with multiple different trails! We were excited to find out it was free. It was a nice mixture of different trail difficulty levels. Staff was super helpful to point us in the right direction and explain some of the trails.
Sarah S — Google review
I brought my 4-year-old and my 2-year-old all the way to the top. Great day good exercise way better than watching them sit in front of youtube all day.
Wesley C — Google review
Vigorous hike, 795 ft up, full of boulders, great workout, pack a picnic because the top is the most amazing view! Leave your dog at home. Too hot and too dangerous if the dog pulls while scrambling up or down the large boulders. Really, too hot for them. I saw a man with a small dog at the top last weekend and that dog was hyperventilating and dehydrated. So sad.
Melissa W — Google review
New visitor center is nice. Love the kayak rental kiosks and the trails to Pinnacle Mountain

Little Rock, Arkansas offers a plethora of outdoor parks and trails for visitors to explore. Among these attractions is the Big Dam Bridge, which spans the Arkansas River atop Murray Dam and holds the title of being the longest pedestrian and bike bridge in the United States at 4,226 feet. The city's Arkansas River Trail provides a 17-mile loop from downtown Little Rock to west Little Rock, passing through key landmarks and offering breathtaking scenery and wildlife along the way.
Gorgeous location, the views are amazing and the trails are fun to walk in, the photos don’t do it justice. I just wish the North Little Rock side had more updated commodities; other than that it’s a must visit for both tourists and locals.
Francisco L — Google review
The Big Dam Bridge in Little Rock, Arkansas, is a must-visit spot for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. Spanning over the Arkansas River, it offers stunning panoramic views of the river, surrounding landscapes, and wildlife. As the longest pedestrian and cycling bridge in the United States, it’s perfect for walking, jogging, or biking, providing a peaceful and scenic escape from the city. The bridge is well-maintained, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy, and offers several vantage points for photo opportunities. The sunset views from the bridge are particularly breathtaking. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely stroll or an active outdoor experience, the Big Dam Bridge is a fantastic destination. It's also a great spot for families, couples, or solo adventurers looking to take in the natural beauty of the area. The only downside is that it can get quite windy at times, but overall, it's an iconic spot in Little Rock that shouldn’t be missed.
Abdul K — Google review
This area is great! Trails to walk/run/bike, fishing is really popular here as well. Beautiful views from the elevated bridge overlooking the Arkansas River. If I lived near here, I’d frequent Big Dam Bridge a lot!
SeaTown R — Google review
This is my go to walk when in Little Rock. Was sad to see so much broken glass in the parking lot. Clear there have been some cars broken into recently. But it is a nice walk up and over the bridge.
Mark N — Google review
It wasn't as steep as I thought it would be, a much easier walk than you imagine as it is such a long low slope. We are moderately fit people that will do our best to pretend our lungs don't burn after a short incline, but we didnt even need to stop and catch our breath on this, it was a comfortable walk, we saw several people pushing strollers and wheelchairs that did not seem to be struggling at all. Go to the bathroom before you start, its still a pretty long walk.
Kiwi E — Google review
It's a good area for walking the Big Damn Bridge. You might even catch a beautiful sky while there for pictures. A glimpse of a Snagger catching those big fish. For that matter catch you some fish brim, catfish & crappie are among my favorites. But, some love those big Buffalo. I only gave 4 stars bc it can be a dangerous area & the facilities aren't the best.
Mae P — Google review
I enjoyed the walk, very beautiful, although, the railing was so tall it was hard for me to video the walk. But I understand the need for the railing. It's a very tall bridge that's over a very rapidly flowing Arkansas River. Should someone fall from that height it would be fatal. There are lots of readings along the bridge that tells about the river, the Dam, and the natural birds to that area. I was lucky, or blessed by God, it was supposed to be closed the day I went, for maintenance, however, the crane wasn't able to get there that day so it stayed open. If you watch my video, I read each plaque as I went through along with the information regarding the history of the River and Park. I thought it was interesting, that the local Doctors helped to pay for it, in an effort to keep the population healthy. It must be working. The whole time I've visited this area, I've only seen two other people who were obese. I believe just going over the bridge was worth the money to come here. I've seen so much more though. This was truly, an awesome get away for me.

Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site is a significant landmark in American civil rights history. It commemorates the 1957 desegregation crisis and the bravery of the Little Rock Nine, who were the first African American students to attend the school after the Brown v. Board of Education ruling. The site stands as a testament to their struggle for civil rights and is located on Daisy L. Gatson Bates Drive in Little Rock, Arkansas.
They offer a 1 pm guided tour every day. Our tour guide Ranger Randy was very knowledgeable and gave an excellent tour, but unfortunately he is retiring so you’ll probably get another tour guide. Hopefully they will be just a good. Make sure to book reservations in advance if you want the guided tour, or just stop in anytime if you want to do a self guided tour. The guided tour really makes the story come alive, so I would recommend it. Our tour lasted about 2 hours and was half inside and half outside. There is also a visitors center if you want to look around on your own.
Thor Y — Google review
Visiting Little Rock Central High School was a powerful experience. The building itself is a stunning example of Gothic Revival architecture, standing as a testament to resilience and progress. Walking through its historic grounds, I couldn't help but reflect on the pivotal events of 1957 and the Bravery of the Little Rock Nine. The site balances beauty with the weight of its past, serving as an essential educational landmark that reminds us of the ongoing journey toward equality. A must-visit for those interested in civil rights history. The visitors center is free and incredibly well done. Take your time!!! The high school is still a working and functional school so there is no admittance to inside but you can walk the beautiful grounds.

Nice. School is still in use. Huge. Principal was nice to let us in even though it wasn’t open to the public that day.
Kerra H — Google review
The experience of being there is breathtaking. Honor history while you can! Let me remind you all, it is an active school. So don't walk in. I almost walked in because I initially thought it was a museum. When I saw a young high school aged student with a bookbag walk out with her mom, I realized class was in session! The museum is across the street from the school.
V. D — Google review
Very interesting and informative site and museum. The museum is across the street from the high school so you are able to learn about the history and actually see where it took place. The museum gave the history of the high school and the efforts to integrate and also prevent integration. They had videos, pictures, and some objects. Lots of information to take in so take your time it’s worth it! The subject was handled in a sensitive and informative manner.

Both my husband and I were born and raised in Arkansas, but neither of us had ever toured the state capitol building -- until we found ourselves with some time to kill while back in the state visiting relatives. The building is beautiful and elegant and on the day we visited, it was very quiet. We only saw a few other visitors. We did a self-guided tour while awaiting a guided one. Our guide, Nancy Martinsen, led us around the elaborate structure while telling us all about how it came to be built where it was and by who. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit inside and then went outside to look at the Little Rock Nine monument located on the capitol grounds. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and welcoming.

We had the opportunity/honor to visit the Arkansas State Capitol in MAY_FY2024 and it was an amazing experience, a great opportunity to learn more about Arkansas history and legacy. We did a plant tour and for sure it's a remarkable building. Definitely, it's a place that deserves my respect. It was a privilege.

Neat federal building. Ongoing tours throughout the day with the most amazing staff! Senate on south side, House on north end. Treasury and governors office inside. Treasury tour is hella cool. Highly recommend.

Have been to many state and provincial capitol buildings over the past 4 years and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The grounds are beautiful and the interior is simple but very pretty in its own right. The self-guided tour booklet is well-done and was able to see everything in 1.5 hours. Great presentation of architecture and history.

The William J. Clinton Library and Museum in Little Rock offers a fascinating look into the life and presidency of Bill Clinton. The museum spans three floors and features a wide array of exhibits, including documents, photographs, and artifacts from his time in office. Visitors can explore replicas of the Oval Office and Cabinet Room, as well as displays showcasing daily life at the White House. Additionally, the museum is set within a 30-acre park, providing a scenic backdrop for visitors to enjoy.
In May 2025, we visited the William J. Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Clinton Library is impressive. The displays are amazing and it is clean and well laid out. Even though I do not agree with many of Clinton's politics, I left having more respect for Clinton and what he accomplished as a US President. I highly recommend visiting the Clinton Presidential Library.

Amazing museum - a must see for anyone in the area. They've done a really nice job at bringing the story to life and you really get to relive the era in your mind. The exhibits are really well done and very detailed. The staff is super friendly, warm and welcoming. The cabinet room is a favorite as well as the oval office of course. I brought the kids (under 10) and they had enough to keep entertained for a few hours while I walked down memory lane.

We LOVED this museum! We didn’t have any expectations— just knew we wanted to go and check it out. Well lucky for us, we were blown away. The architecture and intention behind the building’s design was just as amazing as the exhibits inside. The best part was our tour guide, Mark, who was so friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about the building and US History. He truly made our visit extra special and memorable! The second best part was the portrait gallery! The art work of the Clinton’s was unbelievable! We also loved learning about their pets, Boots and Socks and seeing all of the treasures they were gifted by foreign diplomats. A must see for $12!!

Going back to my home state can be more than just visiting relatives. I had to make time to visit the Clinton Library again. When I visited the first time, it had just opened and my husband didn't get to see it. The library is a fun, educational experience and we both enjoyed our visit. There are exhibits on all three floors and lots of interactive things to do. We visited a special exhibit of portraits first and then went through the rest of the library. The gifts from visiting dignitaries areas are always fun and fascinating. The library covers all aspects of Bill Clinton's life and does a good job of it. Having visited several other presidential libraries, I did find the layout (it was built to be like a bridge to the future) a little confining. But overall it is really great place filled with so much history. There is a restaurant located in the bottom floor of the building, but it was closed the day we visited so we went to lunch nearby. I was told it is best to make a reservation if you want to eat in the restaurant. You can leave and return the same day as long as you keep your ticket.

Well organized displays. Very helpful, friendly, and well informed staff. Loved seeing personal correspondence and photos and other memorabilia. Stunning replica of Oval Office. Cabinet room too. Very reasonable price for admission but a little pricey and regrettable up charge for a photo in the Oval.
Fr. N — Google review
The library is a powerful memory of the Clinton presidency from 1993 until early 2001. The history lessons transcend political views, making it an interesting visit for anyone. The grounds also offer wonderful scenery and have great walking and running trails.
Michael N — Google review
I walked in expecting a library, shelves of documents, maybe a display case or two. What I found was something else entirely. This isn’t just a collection of papers, it’s a time capsule—an immersive experience into President Clinton’s legacy, decisions, and the era he helped define. My family and I stood there, stunned at what we didn’t know. The exhibits pull you in, not just with facts, but with context and feeling. We sat at the President’s staff table, snapped photos in the replica Oval Office, and found ourselves taking a genuine interest in his life and presidency—something I didn’t expect to happen as deeply as it did. This visit changed our summer plans. Since then, we’ve explored two more presidential libraries, and we’re already mapping out a trail for next year. There is an entry fee, but it’s more than worth it. This place opened a door for us we didn’t know we wanted to walk through.

I thought there would be more to it, but apparently some galleries are being switched out right now. Still plenty of interesting info and we especially enjoyed the Oval Office replica. All the staff were very helpful and welcoming. A must-see if you’re in Little Rock!

The Old State House Museum in Little Rock, Arkansas is a National Historic Landmark building that showcases permanent and traveling exhibits on the state's history. The museum is housed in the original state capitol building of Arkansas, which has stood since 1947 and features Greek revival style architecture. Visitors can explore significant events that have shaped the state's history, such as the admission of Arkansas to the Union and pivotal legislative decisions.
Very nice museum with tons of information about Arkansas. Well-kept and curated, with many exhibits throughout. Exterior of building is beautiful and grounds are landscaped nicely. Docents very helpful, they were available for questions, but not hanging over your shoulder, which I appreciated very much. Would go again if in the area.

An interesting piece of history to check out. It will take you about an hour to see the entire exhibit. You will learn about the history of the building, its occupants, renovation, and a lot more. Admission is FREE. As a bonus, there is usually another exhibition available in one of the wings of the building. Currently it’s the “Play it Loud” - a look back at the music events that took place in the state.

Beautiful building and restoration. Parking is a challenge. There is no onsite parking, so be prepared to park elsewhere and walk, or take the trolley

Wonderfully restored and maintained historical former state house that should be on everyone's "must visit" list if in the Little Rock area. So much history is contained within the grounds and building and plaques within the building provide brief explanations. The grounds are well-preserved and provide a flavor of the classic Southern charm. The gift shop has many items that will interest any tourist. And don't forget to leave a donation in the box if you can (the museum is free).

A very well done museum. The staff was incredibly friendly and informative. The museum covered so much of the history of Arkansas over the years in a very interesting manner. We spent several pleasant hours wandering through the halls enjoying the various displays.

Stopped by this museum during a business trip to Little Rock. The admission was free and you can see all the exhibits in less than an hour so it is a great way to spend some time and learn some Arkansas history. There are two accessible levels and some exhibits outside as well. It was a nice stop and I would visit again in the future.

The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, located in Little Rock's MacArthur Park, is a cultural hub with a rich history dating back to 1914. It houses an impressive collection featuring works by renowned artists such as Picasso, Degas, Rembrandt, Wyeth, and Redon. The museum offers a modern space for art enthusiasts and event hosts alike. Additionally, the city is currently enhancing its arts scene with the construction of this new fine arts and exhibition space.
My experience at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts was absolutely fantastic. One of the best things is that admission is completely free, so you can explore everything without stressing about your budget—perfect for spontaneous visits or bringing friends along. The staff and volunteers were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to share deeper meanings behind each art piece, which really made the visit more meaningful. While the museum may look small from the outside, don’t be fooled—it’s quite expansive once you’re inside, with plenty to see and appreciate. They also have a well-curated gift shop, great for anyone looking to start or add to a collection. Whether you're an art lover or just looking for a relaxing place to spend an afternoon, this place is a must-visit. Definitely a 5-star spot!

🎨✨ The Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts – where architecture and emotion become one. This museum is absolutely breathtaking. The building itself is a true work of art — so elegant, modern, and full of light. Honestly, I didn’t want to leave. It feels like the kind of place you could live in forever. The atmosphere inside is so peaceful and inspiring. I want to give a special mention to the staff — they look incredibly polished and professional, and the service was impeccable. Every detail made the experience even more pleasant. I found so much joy just being there — especially from an aesthetic point of view. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed, and it truly elevates your spirit. I highly recommend visiting the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts. Explore the exhibitions, soak in the beauty, grab a cup of coffee, and read a book while looking through those stunning floor-to-ceiling glass walls. ☕📚🪟 This place isn’t just about art. It’s about feeling alive.

We visited the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts on the evening of July 4th. While we're not exactly fine arts enthusiasts, I was drawn to the museum after seeing photos of its stunning architecture. Admission is free, and you can pick up a map at the information desk. For kids, there’s a fun treasure hunt activity sheet, which turned out to be a great way to keep our son engaged. He and my wife enjoyed completing the activities together, and once they finished, he received a small gift from the museum store. I took the opportunity to explore and capture the beauty of the museum’s exterior - the architecture is truly photo-worthy from every angle. Parking was easily available, and the museum is well laid out across three floors, all accessible by elevator. Inside, you'll also find a fine dining restaurant, a cozy café, and a gift shop. Just outside, the adjacent park offers a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. We spent about an hour and a half there - a visit that was both refreshing and enriching.

The architecture of the museum is stunning. A spectacular museum in Little Rock. Walking in the front door you feel the ambiance of beauty and peace. I met a friend for coffee in the upstairs cafe. So quiet and such a beautiful space with spectacular views of Arkansas nature while talking over coffee and a heated chocolate croissant. Hands down better than Starbucks! The museum art store has very beautiful art inspired by merchandise

Culturally diverse museum, with a fresh exhibit of urban interest each of the two times I've visited with young family. They do a great job with hands-on crafts for children especially,-- but for grown-ups too-- on Saturday mornings. Best of all, the entrance is free!

From reception to our self guided tour of the museum, we felt welcome and enjoyed our visit very much! Security officers were kind and were watchful but polite. So many of the exhibits are unique and thought provoking. The cafe on the 2nd level is so light, bright and peaceful with relevant books and comfortable seating to enjoy a cup of ☕. Highly reccomend; especially for families with older children who enjoy history and art!

Took my youngest Legacy for his 8th Solar Return. Had an Amazing time. From riding go karts to the batting cages. The weather was Amazing!!! The staff is lots of younger adults, but they were very knowledgeable & helpful!!! Definitely a great place to go alone & have fun or a family/group outing. Highly recommend.

Had a good time here. The water bumper car was not available. You pay for a certain amount of activities you want to do. They also have an arcade. It was neat. It was not very busy when we went which was great. Mostly young teenagers work there but I think they handled themselves well.

The management was amazing. The cashier was not as friendly. We picked up some coupons at the hotel. She acted like my $3 off coupon that came from them was fake. She took 30 minutes to get the manager to verify the coupons from their location. The boats were down so we didn't get to try them. Everything was great except the interaction with the girl at the front desk. Again the management went above and beyond. He was great and hopefully she learned about the coupons that day. I just feel like her way of handling the situation could have been done with a better attitude. The wait time would have been less than 5 minutes if we didn't have that issue.

Do Not waste your time or money here. Golf course missing carpet, Bumper boat water was probably cleaner than swamp water, several Arcade games broken or inoperable, Batting Cages were not open, Aireal Adventure was not open.

A great lil place to come and enjoy the day . Worth the money a lot to do for kids and adults alike . Can't wait to bring the whole family next time .And also the go karts are super fast and a lot of fun.
Jesse W — Google review
A little bit of a let down. The main reason we drove here was to do the Aerial Adventure Course and it was unavailable/closed without explanation. If you’re interested in doing the Aerial Course I would call ahead first! Batting cages were working and kids enjoyed- thankfully we brought our own bat (which I recommend) as the bats they had available were missing grips and in bad shape. The go karts were fun and staff was attentive if a go kart got stuck.
Amanda K — Google review
This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever encountered at a family establishment. The smell of the indoor area, everything is filthy, cashier wouldn’t take his headphones off to wait on us, mini golf area smells like sewage with rancid water, two holes missing turf. I took pictures of the office but not of the course but that’s a clear representation of the facility as a whole. The website is a very misleading representation of how poorly managed this business is. Not giving a star would be appropriate but isn’t an option to submit a review.
Ashley W — Google review
1 star is far too generous... this place should be burned down and start over again. Nearly every arcade machine is broken, the claw games are blatantly rigged to not close, the bumper boats are a floating cesspool, the mini golf is overgrown with weeds and the water features are bone dry. If you're looking for a post-apocalyptic setting for a film, THIS is the place. However, if you're looking for a decent place to take your kids or a date, save yourself $100 and just buy wine and watch paint dry.

The Wonder Place, located in Breckenridge Village, Little Rock, Arkansas, is a vibrant indoor play facility designed for children up to eight years old. It offers a kaleidoscope of colors and textures that stimulate the senses and ignite curiosity. The 5,700 square feet of fun includes climbing areas, drama sections, swing sets, an art corner, and more. Additionally, there's a toy store with unique and educational toys.
I take my three year old here frequently! They have so many fun things for young kids to do indoors! My kids favorite is the water table. They also have tons of dress up clothes a market for them to play shop, a mini Lil house, a paly vets office, a sand table, light tables. As a mom with an Autistic kid I love taking her here to have sensory play.

My granddaughter had her (2) birthday party. We had a closed room and access to everything. You are able to bring food, snacks and birthday cake. A lot of activities for the children to do. Staff was available upon request. This location offers a children store (a must) to go. All kinds of fun stuff.

We went for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She had SO MUCH fun & we got plenty of laughs ourselves. I had 3 kids and an adult - price under $40. (Any adults after the first was no charge) BEST DECISION to go here for her birthday. My only issue was I didn't plan enough time for her there, and she WAS NOT ready to leave when we were. It was such a good time!

I have booked multiple parties here for my children, and have had a wonderful experience each and every time. We’ve also attended many parties and had great experiences. When booking your own party, you can choose whether you want an entirely private party, or what size room to book based on how many guests you’re expecting. They allowed us to bring in our own decorations and food which was so nice with my picky kids. We’ve ordered Howie’s pizza early and it’s been a hit! I’ve purchased the balloon arch add-on service before and was pleasantly surprised with their quality handiwork in the resulting arch! It really made the room pop on top of my decorations! We love this place for kids’ parties and random Tuesdays. Highly recommend!!
Sarah C — Google review
I made a reservation for a room in the tier 1 semi-private party section about a week ago. Everything was fantastic—the staff, the ambiance, and the play areas were all great. The room was available for two hours, and the kids were allowed to play until 5 pm, which was fantastic. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The room also has water tables, and they even provided aprons, as kids being kids, they do get wet, so it’s ideal to bring extra pairs of clothes. However, I had a major issue with the room we were assigned. It was supposed to accommodate a party of 20 people, but it only had enough space for 10. As a result, my guests had to stand outside in the hallway. Another issue was the restrooms. They only had two restrooms, and there was always a queue whenever I went in. However, a small corner was dedicated for nursing mothers, which was a plus point.
Disuja S — Google review
We went for an evening birthday party yesterday. It was a private party, meaning the whole place was reserved for the birthday boy. One of the employees called a week ahead of time to answer questions and get input. When they closed to the public at 5p, they spent half an hour cleaning, disinfecting, and helping set up before the party started. There was a separate room for food/presents, and they even had a craft (making a tool belt) that was tailor-made for the party's theme (construction)! There were two employees who were masked up, disinfecting throughout, helpful, and friendly. The highlights for the kids were the dress-up theater, the water table, and the River Market. If you're wanting to have a party for young ones (up to about 8 years old) and want to have a crowd-free, clean, colorful environment, this is a spot you have to consider! My only "negative" would be that I was told it wasn't nearly as packed with things to play with and touch as there was before Covid, but that is by no means the fault of The Wonder Place; if anything, I praise them for placing health and safety first.
David E — Google review
This place is awesome! My 3 year old loves it too. Admission is each kid and adult, 2nd adult is free. In and out privileges, leave for lunch and come back for more play time. Weekdays are best but even Saturday doesn't feel super crowded as they have tons of space and different plays spots throughout the building. Also staff is super friendly and they're always go around cleaning and disinfecting as they go.

Such an awesome place. You can do your own tour which is free or you can pay for a tour which is pretty cheap but make sure you're there on the hour cuz they do tours every hour on the hour I got there like 5 minutes after 3:00 and missed it so it was okay I just walked around it was nice. And certain days you would have to ask they have people dress up in the old timey clothes and have those old houses open talking about the history. They have an Indian museum a little place for children to play and a few other cool museums in there to look at old things from the 1800s it all has to do with arkansas's history though.

The Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum in North Little Rock offers a unique experience showcasing naval history and Arkansas aquaculture. The museum features tours of the USS Razorback, a WWII-era submarine, and the historic tugboat USS Hoga. These vessels hold significant historical value, with the Razorback being one of the longest-serving combat front-line submarines in the world. The Hoga received special recognition for its rescue efforts during the Pearl Harbor attack and later served as a fire-fighting boat in California.
I have visited this place twice and I do have a great time touring the submarine. The Tour guides are so nice and well experienced. You will enter the submarine and have a good experience of what this beast is. It’s said to be partially working so be careful not to touch any buttons 🤠 There is discount if you are veteran or active service or have family members that is either of both. Tour ticket cost $13

What a great little museum and tour. A lot of history in one place. Very good price for about 45 minutes tour. Our tour guide was Michael- very knowledgeable for a young man. The place was very clean and a great spot to take in some naval history. Make sure to watch the tour times... they go on tours every 30ish minutes and it's first come first served kind of deal. They only take about 10 on every tour.

I was so surprised to find a submarine that you could go through with a tour guide. I think I was even more amazed finding out it held 107 men working and sleeping in it working in temperatures around 100 degrees and not able to shower for around 2 weeks and when they did it was 30 seconds long. After you go through the tour you wonder how they could live in such a tight space without going crazy.

Tyler was a great guide! He was very informative and courteous. Nice quick tour of the submarine, which is actually air conditioned. Little Rock River Market is a fun place to get out and walk around. You can get the most beautiful views of Downtown from the Junction Bridge (a pedestrian bridge). There are many fun things to do in this area as well as several great restaurants.

Food was delicious from the Thai restaurant. Great choices and all very good. Sadly ,there was usually one person working each booth. This made for long waits for food. Great place if you aren’t in a hurry.
Andrea H — Google review
This is such a great location for food vendors and patrons. It actually rivals many enjoyable out of town establishments that are comparable. The biggest problem (and reason for my rating) is that it is not open past 2 pm. The hours are horrible and prevent many businesses from reaching their greatest earning potential. My family and I would regularly frequent Ottenheimer Hall if it were open later.
Jillianmitchell78 — Google review
Lots of food options. We ordered from the Thai place - food was good, drink was ok. Also ordered a drink at the bar (happy hour) and was not too impressed with the drink either.

One third of the vendors in food court were still closed. We ordered from Mexican and Thai food. Thai curry was spicy and the tacos were ok .Love the park nearby with many fun sculptures.

A nice farmer's market offering local produce and goods. Located under two covered vendor areas, this downtown river market is a fun way to spend a Saturday morning! Bicycle rentals and a ton of restaurants along with a food hall are just feet away.
Jared W — Google review
I like the idea that there are so many restaurants in one building that represents so many different parts of the world. My favorite is the Japanese restaurant and I have been there about four times although there are a few restaurants inside that I have a very difficult time passing by.
Dre T — Google review
The River Market was nearly completely devoid of people on our Saturday afternoon visit. While the place might be quite entertaining during the summer, it is rather lifeless in the winter. The Middle East Mediterranean place did have fantastic food and incredibly friendly service!

ESSE Purse Museum & Store, located in the South Main Street District of Little Rock, is a unique homage to the history of handbags. The museum's permanent exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the 20th-century American woman's bags and their contents from 1900 to 1999. This clever decade-by-decade review not only showcases fashion but also sheds light on social changes experienced by American women during this period.
The museum was so interesting! They have so many purses and items kept in purses from 1900-1990. It was cool to see how the styles of bags and items women kept on them changed depending on different historical events. They also had a purse weighing station, which was fun!
Rebecca — Google review
What fun little museum! Walking through women's lives over the decades with the handbags they carried & the items inside. Aspirin was in every single era. I have thoughts! 🤣 Couldn't leave without a purse from the gift shop, too. 😍

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s wonderful everytime! Clean, friendly people, awesome displays, super cool gift shop! They have new exhibits that come and go too so there is always something new to see! Really cool look at history through fashion accessories!

This Museum Is So Magical, It Throws Shade at Your Clueless Carry-On! ✨ Listen up, fellow travelers: you think you've seen it all? Think again. The ESSE Purse Museum & Store in Little Rock isn't just a place to look at bags; it’s a full-on masterclass in style, history, and pure, unadulterated female energy. This museum is so magical, I almost expected to see Amelia Earhart’s flight bag! From the tiny, beaded flapper purses of the 1920s to the bold, structured bags of the 1940s, this place tells a whole story. It’s the visual history of women's liberation, one handbag at a time. The vintage Pan Am satchels and the rhinestone-studded fans tell a tale of a woman who wanted more than just a place in the home—she wanted the entire world. This isn't just a museum; it's a history lesson. It’s a sassy, chic reminder that what a woman carries tells you everything about where she’s been and where she’s going. So, go ahead. I dare you to find a more iconic collection. You won't. #ESSEPurseMuseum 👜 #LittleRockAR 💁‍♀️ #ArkansasHistory #ARkansas #MuseumLife 🏛️ #PursePower 💅 #VintageVibes 😎 #TravelStyle ✈️ #WomensHistory 👑 #SassyAndChic #YouCantSitWithUs #SparkleAndShine ✨

The Esse Purse Museum is an absolute gem! The collection is very impressive and so very beautifully curated. The evolution of fashion accessories through American history is absolutely fascinating and the museum takes you through each decade with an intricate display of handbags, cosmetics and pop culture. This is a must stop, and the museum shop is stunning, with prices for every budget.

Very cool to see women’s history through purses. The captured each decade well. Less than an hour to go through but a very nice addition to a day in Little Rock.
Shariff S — Google review
Definitely one of the coolest museums I visited in Little Rock. This museum is the only purse museum in the US. I spent almost two hours reading and browsing each display. The staff has each display set up by decades. It’s not just about purses but also about history. Highly recommend stopping here for an hour or two.

We took a girls' trip to Little Rock, and this was my absolute favorite!!! It was such a well put together exhibit. It was fascinating to see not only purses throughout the decades, but also what was usually carried in those bags. There is a great gift shop too. Highly recommend!!!

We're enjoying this park! The park had alot of chairs and tables. also have alot of Gazebo, you can make a party here with reservations. The restroom is clean. The only thing i disappointed is the train operating hours is not knowing when. The kids are waiting for the train. But here also have a water splash but not opening yet until memorial day. we're can't wait for the water splash!! Thank you 😊

Had a (very last minute) birthday party for my twins! They were able to get us a reservation with only a couple weeks notice. I was having issues with the site to confirm and they stayed on the phone with me until we figured it out. Pricing was so reasonable and WAY better than other birthday party options. The new funland is so nice! Lots of shaded areas, a variety of play areas for different ages and abilities... Would definitely recommend

This park was reopened recently and is a new favorite for my kids. There is a conveniently located pavilion for parties, ample seating for adults, a train ride for the kids, bathroom facilities with changing tables, and a soon to open splash pad.
Wesley C — Google review
What a wonderful park. The kids loved the variety of playground equipment as well as the splash pad and water slide! Lots of shade. Ample parking. Age variety playgrounds. Very well done.

Great place to take the kids to cool off on a summer day! They loved it. And it's free!!

This was my first time going there since they've changed it up. It was nice, but there were way too many people for me. My grandson and great-niece were trying to play in the splash pad, but the kids were pushing them out of the way. Then, for some reason, I started itching; so we had to cut our visit short. Maybe we'll try it again when it's less crowded.

Rock Town Distillery, located on the southern end of Main Street in SoMa, is a must-visit attraction for adults in Little Rock. It was founded by the father of a high-school doubles tennis partner and offers award-winning vodkas and bourbons. The distillery also features a full cocktail bar with creative drinks, tours, and tastings. Visitors can explore nearby shops or indulge in Honduran dishes at El Sur food truck turned brick-and-mortar restaurant.
What a fun experience! My wife and I love visiting local breweries and distilleries when in new places. With our first trip to Little Rock we found and visited Rock Town Distillery. Emily was our guide and she did a great job of explaining everything about the facility and the processes. She answered our questions and provided a great tasting experience. If you’re in Little Rock and like local spirits, check this place out. High quality products and very friendly people.

GREAT experience here! Jade was absolutely awesome, as well as the rest of the staff. We went on an early Thursday afternoon and pretty much had the place to ourselves. We got to sample so many things and everything we sampled was really good. I had a really good espresso martini and I had to get a shirt to match! Really nice atmosphere and a huge variety of drinks. If we lived here, I would absolutely come here over and over again! We bought several things to take home. I can’t say enough about this place and you definitely should visit!

Came for a flight and tried a variation of whiskeys which were good. Stayed for another old fashioned which was delicious too. The bartenders were friendly and informative about the distillery. Definitely worth a stop if you enjoy some whiskey tasting
Aaron B — Google review
I only went for the cocktail bar, as the standard tours aren't done on Sundays and I'm only in town one day. The single barrel sour mash was really good, as was the price ($14) for an old fashioned, BUT..... No square ice cubes?!?!? What distillery uses standard ice in an old fashioned? Also the bartenders didn't even say hello to me for the first 5+ mins after I sat down with only 4 people at the bar. And they were both young and seemed to not care about their guests. Other than that, not shabby I guess?

AGFC Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center is a spacious facility located in a 3.4-acre park, showcasing the diverse fish and wildlife of Arkansas through exhibits, trails, and programs. The center features live wildlife examples and native plant gardens outside, while inside, visitors can explore an exhibit hall, aquariums, a gift shop, and educational programs. It serves as an introduction to the outdoor recreational opportunities provided by the state's natural resources.
Having visited from a “big city” it was hard to believe that this amazing place was FREE! Not only that it is free, but it is educational, well kept, and interesting for people of all ages. My sons love nature, and they had a blast doing the “scavenger hunt”, learning about Arkansas through the lens of nature, and appreciated all the beautiful animals they have on display. The taxidermy is top-class, and the live animals are in great conditions. 100% recommend this place as something to do for anyone in Little Rock.
Alan P — Google review
Took my 10 year old grandson. He had a good time. He painted a fish (a rubber version) & they showed him how to make a print of it on paper. We watched them feed the fish, looked at all the wildlife native to Arkansas & then he got lessons on shooting a BBQ gun and actually got to shoot one. The staff is great! Very helpful & friendly. This was a free event. If you have children, this is a great place to take them.

Awesome place to take the kids and learn about nature for free! We saw aquatic salamanders, an alligator, local fish, local birds, even a giant fat groundhog outside! It's within walking distance of lots of museums, both free and paid.

We love to take the kids here.. especially in the summer! We usually get some ice cream, walk around a bit, then cool off inside and check out the fish and animals. The staff are always kind and helpful and they have lots of magazines and information for all kinds of other things to do outdoors in Arkansas.
Leanne H — Google review
Awesome little place to see live and mounted animals. They also have hundreds of older fishing lures to see for fishing fanatics. The one and only staff member working was super nice and gave all 4 of my kids a little animal book of birds, snakes, and fish. We all really enjoyed.

Heifer International, located in Little Rock, AR, offers a hands-on experience for visitors to learn about agriculture and hunger. At Heifer Village, guests can engage in activities such as milking cows, gathering eggs from chickens, and feeding calves. The organization also educates about the significance of bees in pollinating crops and the process of honey production. Additionally, it emphasizes the impact of access to clean water.
We love to take a stroll in this area because it has beautiful scenery. It also connects directly to the Clinton library if you walk along the sidewalk. We also just learned that the Clinton foundation bought this building out, so it no longer belongs to Heifer Village. Review is for this location, not the organization. Call before going. I saw the hours were 9-5, so I headed over. Parked and walked over the bridge and through the courtyard following the signs for “Heifer Village.” Unfortunately, when I got to the building entrance there was a sign the said “Permanently Closed.” Not sure what happened, but there is a contact info on the sign. It sounds like this is a worthwhile organization, and I was very excited to learn more. I hope it’s just the village that has closed and that they are still carrying out their mission.

This review is about the street rep, not the work that the org does. The rep started out nice but became rather pushy. She over-talked while I was trying to ask questions and when I asked for the website to do some research, she didn't immediately want to share the website with me. She said "we're bringing the website to you." so that I can make an impact in real time. Look, I understand that she's trying to be effective in securing a $1 donation, but there's a fine line between getting a "yes" and getting a "leave me alone". She ended up on the wrong side today because she was too focused on getting a $1 donation and missed the fact that I was interested in doing research and potentially making a much bigger donation. The org might do great work, and perhaps she's not a reflection of the whole org, but my personal experience didn't leave me feeling warm and fuzzy and I probably won't be telling anyone about Heifer International. Nothing positive, anyway.
Fenton J — Google review
Very disappointed that Heifer International sold this location. It seems to show the direction the company is going as reports are saying they have also become much more aggressive on hassling people for donations. Google maps needs to update the information on here so that others do not show up at this location expecting to experience what use to be an awesome experience.

Went to see Mark Twain Tonight! with Richard Thomas, what a fantastic show! The Robinson Center is absolutely top-notch: beautifully maintained, spotless, and such a joy to experience. I’ve seen several of my favorite performances there over the years, and it never disappoints.
Skellysharpz55 — Google review
There's an underground parking garage right next door that's $10-15 to park. Before the show, we received an email with a map showing 4 other parking areas that are close and public. There are three tiers of seats and boxes on either side of the concert hall, each box has about 4 chairs in them. Each level has bathrooms on that level so you don't have to go downstairs to use the bathroom if youre in an upper tier. There was a lot of stairs, but an elevator inside the building to reach each tier. There was a concession stand with wine, beer, and soda available before the show, no food. The chairs are normal fold-down chairs, similar to a movie theater. The ushers were very helpful and willing to show you to your seat. The show we saw was an orchestral accompaniment of Star Wars, and it was fantastic. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

I was thoroughly impressed by Robinson Center. I've been to concerts and shows in Dallas, Nashville, New Orleans, Minneapolis and Saint Paul. But only in Little Rock did I encounter a completely organized event. From traffic to getting into the center and finding your seats. They had staff and signs everywhere. It's usually a free for all and organized chaos at events in a major downtown area, but not in Little Rock! I'll definitely go there again for any shows that interest me.
Mark D — Google review
The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The theater itself is absolutely gorgeous. This venue can accommodate a small roster comprised of Arkansas symphony orchestra chamber music all the way up to a full ASO orchestra.! I've seen both large and small scale concerts, bands, solo artists, and theater productions. The Robinson center is truly a state-of-the-art theater that can accommodate any and every show you could imagine. It's truly a joy watching the arts in this beautiful venue.

Always a lovely experience. Lots of ushers and staff to help you navigate. Bathrooms tend to be very clean. Concessions are quick and not too expensive (still theater prices so know that--tonight 2 Pepsi and a bottled water was $12). Parking can be tricky but if lucky you get to park in the garage attached to the theater. There is also street and lot parking not far. Lots are a block plus away.

The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center in Arkansas is a museum that showcases the rich history, culture, and community of African Americans in the state. It is located on the original site of the Mosaic Templars of America National Headquarters and Annex buildings, which provided essential services to Black people during a time when few resources were available to them. The museum's exhibits highlight Little Rock's historic West Ninth Street as a thriving center for Black entrepreneurship and social life.
A must see historic location that also delivers African American history. Being from the South I'm familiar with the overall history, however, this cultural center brings to light the local history in engaging ways.

Excellent museum of African American history with a focus on Little Rock and the state of Arkansas. Interactive and mutimedia exhibits, historical artifacts, and seasonal displays tell the stories. I especially enjoyed newspaper and participant memorbilia from the 1963 March on Washington, and a video describing how federal housing, urban renewal, and highway funds were applied to reinforce racial segregation and upend a thriving Black business district. There are chilling displays about local lynchings and the Elaine Massacre of 1919. More hopeful displays detail the continuous Black contributions to literature, music, sports, agriculture, science, and education. Highly recommended.

I visited Mosaic Templars Cultural Center for a experience assignment for my Masters class at UALR. My experience here was amazing, everything was neat and very eye opening for a white individual myself seeing the oppression of African Americans through the museum and listening to stories and Audio. Museum had a bit of everything and up to date on technology aswell. I honestly recommend it to anyone!! Especially if you don’t know much about black history in Arkansas this is a great place to know more about Black History and oppression. I think it was amazing to see history that isn’t told in history books in a place that’s free to the public. When I went they had an Emmett Till exhibit with original audio from trials and witnesses to the incident. Emmett Till exhibit is a tear jerker. Security lady was very nice. The lady at the front desk gave me an introduction of the place to help me get started and told me how to navigate through the whole museum. PLEASE GO!! #whitesilencekills

Outstanding introduction into the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, by Carolin. She was poised, articulate, and ready to do her job. I really liked the educational spirit about her. We had such a good time moving through the center, learning about notable figures within and from Arkansas. I didn’t realize there was so much history here in this state. We don’t really think about Arkansas because we are not from here and because the state is not known for major attractions. I even went all the way up to the 3rd floor. I really enjoyed myself learning and seeing the artifacts.

The old mill was an absolutely stunning place, there were a lot of volunteers here keeping the place stunning. This place magical, absolutely breathtaking. It only took a short 30 minutes as we were on a time crunch but it was absolutely scenic. Between the wood bridges, the small house, pond, or waterfall. Great place to stopby and enjoy nature, take a break, or take picnics. Absolutely wonderful and will come again. There is no fee to enter, but I wish there was a donation box. The volunteers here are doing amazing work to keep this place tidy ☺️

Don’t get me wrong, this place takes you less than 15 minutes to finish it, but if you’re like me who like to take their time sightseeing, time will pass without you realising that. Admission is free, the only downside is the limited parking spaces since the mill lies between homes, so you need to choose when to visit 😉👍🏻

The Old Mill in Arkansas is absolutely breathtaking! 🌿 It’s the perfect place for taking photos—every corner looks like it belongs on a postcard. The peaceful atmosphere makes it just as ideal for simply relaxing and enjoying nature. You could easily spend hours wandering the paths, admiring the scenery, and soaking in the beauty. A must-visit spot if you’re in the area!

I thought it was an original. However, it is a concrete replica of one. Very cool place and beautiful gardens. A lot of ducks that are not afraid of humans. Bathrooms located on site. Many benches and resting spots. The bridges are so unique and fun to walk over.

I LOVED this place! Just a beautiful place for a leg stretch. I would imagine reading and/or eating lunch here would be really relaxing. Artful bridges and foot paths. Turtles and fish. Free to enter.

Nature & Parks
Little Rock, Arkansas boasts a variety of outdoor parks and trails, including the renowned Two Rivers Park. This park offers an ideal setting for scenic walks, biking adventures, and nature exploration. Situated at the confluence of the Little Maumelle and Arkansas Rivers, it provides a picturesque location for picnics with loved ones. Just 15 miles northwest of downtown Little Rock, this expansive green space is easily accessible every day of the week.
Two Rivers Park is a spacious outdoor haven that offers a refreshing escape for nature lovers, runners, and cyclists alike. Situated alongside a picturesque waterway (whether it's a stream or river is hard to tell), the park provides a serene backdrop for various outdoor activities. The park's expansive layout is one of its strongest features. Wide open spaces create a sense of freedom and allow visitors to spread out, making it an ideal spot for those seeking to avoid crowded areas. The well-maintained paths cater perfectly to both runners and cyclists, providing ample room for everyone to enjoy their preferred form of exercise. One of the park's highlights is the abundance of scenic views. As you make your way through the park, you're treated to a variety of landscapes, from the tranquil waters to lush greenery, offering a feast for the eyes and a calming effect on the mind. However, newcomers to the park might find themselves a bit disoriented at first. With multiple parking areas available, it can be challenging to determine the best starting point for a run or ride. This lack of a clear "main entrance" or designated starting area might be confusing for first-time visitors. That said, this minor inconvenience also presents an opportunity. The multiple entry points suggest that Two Rivers Park has extensive grounds to explore. For those who enjoy discovering new routes and don't mind a bit of adventure, this park likely offers miles of potential running or cycling paths. Overall, Two Rivers Park is a gem for outdoor enthusiasts. Its combination of natural beauty, well-maintained paths, and vast space makes it a great destination for anyone looking to enjoy some fresh air and exercise. While you might need to spend a little time finding your preferred route, the payoff in terms of scenic views and outdoor enjoyment is well worth it. Just come prepared to do a bit of exploring on your first visit!

Large open areas makes this park ideal for picnics and walks I went there with my family and thoroughly enjoyed the beauty. It’s even quiet enough that a friend was able to park in a bench and read for hours truly a marvel

This is a great accessible park! Very spacious and room for lots of kids with varying activities! Great for all ages! There are also trails to the two rivers and a beautiful field. We saw a bunch of photographers out taking photos with families.

The new playground is fantastic. Fenced all the way around, nice shade and tables for parents, and I counted 9 slides... Maybe next year, they can add a splash pad, misters, or some sort of water feature to help beat the heat. Two Rivers is massive. There are more shaded trails on the bridge side than the playground side. Garden spaces are leasable, and there are some beautiful plots growing.
Cat H — Google review
A fantastic park to ride your bike, run, stroll, picnic and or to simply sit by the river. It is clean and very well maintained. The pictures don’t do justice of the beauty around this park. A must experience.

Amazing Park! I visited here for the first time. I regret not knowing that there is such a nice park even though I live nearby! This is just outside a quiet residential area. I saw a nicely paved road and a farm full of horses until I arrived at the nearest parking lot in the park. We went through the Little Rock freeway and the same route to Pinnacle Mountain. The signboard is easy to understand, and if you use Google MAP, you will arrive without any hesitation. The park is paved, with plenty of marathon runners and bikers. At the end of the road to the river, I encountered a herd of deer living in nature. What a beautiful sight! wonderful! I felt it was proof that nature was abundant. It was a chilly day, but my heart was healed by the beauty of the sunset reflected on the river and the quiet sound of the river. Every week I want to come to this park. I highly recommend it! Even small children will be able to enjoy a walk with peace of mind! I saw the beautiful blue bird! Every time I went to this Park, I could see deer very easily! So much fun!!

A well-maintained open park with a ton of greenery most of the year except winters. Beautiful, serene, and breathtaking view of two rivers merging. Great for walking, running, pet walking, cycling, picnicking, photoshoots, etc. Been here a ton of times all round the year during our 4-yr stay in LR!! Loved it!! Must visit.

H.U. Lee International Gate and Garden, situated at the far end of Main Street Bridge in Little Rock, serves as a symbol of friendship between South Korea and America and pays homage to the tradition of martial arts. Named after HaengUng Lee, a revered figure in martial arts worldwide, the gate is adorned with traditional Korean colors. Beyond it lies a serene garden featuring a reflective pool and a bust of Eternal Grand Master Lee against a black granite wall.
Small garden in the back with a few sculptures, including Taekwondo Grand Master HU Lee’s tribute and a fountain. The weeping willow tree is beautiful. This building stands out when you drive by.

A really neat place! Very aesthetic and beautiful, great for taking photos. The history behind the gate and garden is also really inspiring.

A really cool Korean-style gate and park is exactly what one would expect to find in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas 🤣🤣🤣 Make time to check out this little gem. Awesome!
Chris T — Google review
As avid ATA practioners, it was very special to see this place! The gate is beautiful, with intricate designs and many bright colors. The statues each tell a story. It is a beautiful tribute to a person who gave so much to the city, and left behind and incredible legacy. Even if you know nothing of HU Lee or Tae Kwon Do, you will appreciate the esthetic and a shaded place to have a little sit :)

There's parking next door. If you can't get the doors opened, the open entrance is on the left. It's really pretty and a nice tiny walk. The entrance is something you don't see every day.
Usagi C — Google review
There was parking near enough. The river is a close stroll away. The entrance was very beautifully structured, the statues just inside were cleverly peaceful. The fountain was with most amusing delivery. The environment was pleasing.

A beautiful and peaceful garden to meditate. There was no one when we visited. It's a part of Statehouse Convention Center Downtown. Its purpose is to educate people about the late Haeng Ung Lee’s (Eternal Grand Master H.U. Lee) contributions to society. The gate welcomes people to Little Rock and Arkansas. You can enjoy its Gate, Garden, Two Korean Foo Dog statue, ATA student bowing statues, Reflective pool with seating area, Fountain, Bust of Eternal Grand master Lee, Wall of Vision, Staff of the flying dragon, Harubang Statues from Jejudo, and Turtle statue. I'd love to have these artifacts at my house. :-)
Kat — Google review
Beautiful garden with incredible artifacts. The wood for the gate was US wood sent to Korea for carving and back here for placement. The guardian statues are the only ones outside of Korea! The garden memorializes the founder of a tae kwon do style and organization. Very coronavirus friendly outdoor attraction.

The Arkansas Repertory Theatre, located in downtown Little Rock, is the state's largest nonprofit professional theatre company. Since its founding in 1976, it has produced over 350 productions including 40 world premieres in its historic 377-seat theatre. Led by Executive Artistic Director Will Trice, the theatre offers a diverse array of performances and classics along with workshops for its annual audience of over 70,000.
I have so many amazing memories of my family having season tickets to The Rep when I was growing up, but I haven't been in probably 20 years. My partner and I went to see Into The Woods last night (my hands-down favorite production growing up), and I think I was smiling the whole night. The place is updated and well-designed, the production was first-rate, and everyone was friendly and helpful. I LOVE the smaller venue because you are close to the stage no matter where you sit. I don't have the funds right now to return and see Into The Woods with my oldest daughter (our youngest is 4, otherwise I'd take him, too!) but I wish so much that I could. It would make for an unforgettable night and a new generation of memories. Somewhere down the road, we'll give our kids the gift of going to The Rep. It's a true landmark in Little Rock! I can't recommend it highly enough.

A small intimate quiet hall. All seats should be good for performances and are pretty much ok. A tad on the legacy "snug fit" seating. I got through a 2 hour show fine. I definately plan to attend more shows. Very cool

I can’t brag about this theater enough. Sometimes a local theater may bring about a negative connotation for subpar talent…but this is no where near the truth for the rep. They have a great mixture of Arkansas locals mixed with talent from all over the US with a wide range of expertise. The cast and the audience are always diverse. There are no bad seats here. Don’t sleep on this place!! It’s now become an annual challenge to see all the plays/musicals they produce!!

It's a little hard to see from the street, so in this case watch carefully. Parking is somewhat limited, but that's pretty much everywhere in downtown Little Rock. We took a self-guided tour. If you aren't familiar with the plants, I suggest you use an app like Picture This or Bixby Vision to help identify the plant. If you're hungry the River Market is nearby, as is Community Bakery. Sometimes you can also find a food truck on or near the premises. On to the garden itself. I found it well maintained and quite peaceful for a downtown garden. It is not as big as I expected but if you have children or elderly family members with you, that could be a plus. It was a cold fall day when I went. I would love to visit the garden again in the spring! There are a few homeless people around, so just be aware of your surroundings and choose an appropriate time for your visit.

The farmer's market experience on Sundays speaks to my soul. Fresh produce is just the beginning. Natural haircare products, herbal tea, fresh granola, art...the list could actually go on and on! It is a beautiful experience.

Very disappointed, we were looking forward to spending time at the free botanical garden, however, when we arrived and discovered it was one city block, and there was a smoking homeless man sleeping on the property, we cut our visit short.

Really like this place, whether its when they have food trucks or farmers market. Love the live music, a lot of talent there. Close to some cool shops.

I stumbled across this place by accident while I was getting gas at E-Z Mart and I heard drums playing... Being a musician I had to go check it out. I'm a guitarist and not a drummer. I definitely have no rhythm when it comes to drums. But these guys are up there every Saturday and they were super nice about just handing me some drums and letting me try to jam with them for a little while. I had a great time and I hope to go back again on another Saturday. They said they are up there pretty much every Saturday. Lots of fun and it's kid friendly!
Jeremy G — Google review
The reviews are all over the place, but here's mine. Not at all what I expected of a "botanic garden". Very small piece at the end of a strip of town. Interesting enough and clean, but not something you spend more than 5 minutes doing on a regular day. Based on other reviews, it looks like a cool space that people play music and host small events, but if you're just looking for something to do in Little Rock at a random time, this probably isn't it.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since we got to Little Rock! They have two locations. What really sets them apart is the way their ingredients are sourced. They partners with local nurseries and farms to get their ingredients. We ordered the Mushroom burger and the Deviled Egg Salad Salad. Both were very good and filling! Sometimes when food is vegetarian it isn’t filling but that was not the case. portion sizes were perfect! Great atmosphere and green space!!

I walked in one minute to closing time. My fault did not realize what that time was. I Ubered there from my hotel because the reviews and menu looked great. 99.9% of restaurants would have said “Sorry we are closed” Nope, not this place. They mentioned it was closing time then the cook said “I can whip up a burger for you”. I was floored, I was actually in a restaurant that loves their customers! On top of that, the burger was excellent and everyone was friendly and smiling. I wish I were in Little Rock more often so I could come back.

Been coming here for years. I guess you could say I’m a regular lol. It feels like home to me. Love the staff, atmosphere, and of course the food. I want to give a shout out to Brandon in the back of house, he is always so positive and very cool! 😎 This is the place to be if you are in Little Rock!

Absolutely delicious food. Finally came here after 6 years of work trips to the area and saying I'd go. Guy Fieri came here years ago. I try to visit places he has gone to. Food - so fresh and tasty. They source their food from local Arkansas farms. You can immediately tell the quality in food. The Root Benny is a great choice to get a bit of everything. The pancake was so fluffy. Butter and syrup were amazing as those were locally sourced. Service - quick to get our food after ordering. Servera were friendly. Atmosphere - inside and outside seating. We sat outside as it was a nice day.

Junction Bridge in Little Rock is a former railroad bridge turned pedestrian walkway that offers both scenic views and historical significance. As you stroll across the Arkansas River, you can admire panoramic vistas of the river and cityscape, while also appreciating its connection to the city's railroad history. The bridge provides excellent photo opportunities during the day and transforms into a beautifully lit spot at night, making it perfect for evening or nighttime photography sessions.
Great walk and interesting things to see along the way! Lots of locks old and new and sights and sounds from the river all around. The elevator was not currently working as of September 2, 2024. There is no admission charge and it appears very safe structurally and the area itself. Great views of the surrounding area.
Frank P — Google review
This place is a nice river overlook view .. you can see the lovely Little Rock’s skyline especially at night. The lightings on the bridge kept changing which was a wonderful sight. The trip up the bridge is about three long flights of stairs, it’s sturdy and relatively safe for kids to walk on it. It’s not a long bridge. If you like trying new sightseeing sights this is a good place to visit if you’re in Little Rock, Arkansas

Free site to visit. Nice views. Not too many stairs. Elevator as well but I didn't test to see if it works. If you visit from the submarine side, you can avoid the stairs if you don't want to visit the raised part. If you're with a loved one, bring a lock to attach to the bridge! Lots of locks of love. Or bring lock cutters if you're single again hahaha.
Slim S — Google review
Come for a relaxing time to view the breeze and enjoy the water and nature all in one. There is benches and sitting all throughout the bridge it was established in 1884 and the span is 385 feet. If you are in love bring a lock and lock your love into this bridge it’s amazing the view is amazing it’s very clean very beautiful very scenic. There are elevators there is also a concert Area there is plenty to eat in walking distance the parking if you park by the bridge it is five dollars if you park in the garage it’s two dollars an hour. There is also nature trails on the other side of the bridge is a splash pad.

One of several unique ways to cross the river. Cool view of the USS Razorback from the north end, plenty of stuff to do at the south end, as well. Not ideal to use if you're biking on the Arkansas River Trail - when we went, one of the elevators was broken. I'd recommend using the Broadway or Clinton Bridges for that purpose.

Quick and easy walk to walk across the river and enjoy great view of the city's skyline and riverside parks. Several Locks of Love attached to the bridge including a message from a tagger who must have been unlucky at love.

This really pedestrian bridge was originally built in the 1800s as a railroad bridge. It's a lift-span bridge that is, apparently, permanently in the lift position. Great way to walk from Argenta to Little Rock or vice versa. Great views of the Maritime Museum, the river, and downtown Little Rock.

It's the sole ice skating rink in Central Arkansas, providing opportunities for parties, learning to skate, playing hockey, or simply enjoying freestyle skating. The venue also hosts public and private parties as well as group events. Additionally, visitors can take roller skating classes to improve their skills.
Great Skating Spot for All Ages! This place offers both ice skating and regular roller skating, which was a fun surprise! We went on a Thursday after 6pm and found it super affordable—only $12 per person including skate rentals. Our family, with kids ranging from 10 to 18, had a great time. It was a fun way to spend the evening without breaking the bank. Definitely recommend for a family outing!

My son just had his birthday party here today for the second year. He had his 6th bday here and now his 8th. He loves it here as well as I. I love the fact that I dont have to plan party games or food and they have unlimited skating. We come here on our mommy and me days too. We will always come back.

Great roller skating rink! We try to make it to Thursday cheapskate when we can. We don’t ice skate much so look to other reviews on that. But as for the roller part—pretty awesome considering they don’t have any Central Arkansas competition. They could just let it go a bit and they would probably still make a little money. But they haven’t. It’s not the Taj Mahal but you can tell they care. They clean. They repair. They have enough staff. They do the little games and races, even on some weeknights. My kids love that stuff and I love not having to brave the weekend nights with the teenagers!

Had a super great time with my bro when we skated. Spent about seven and a half hours skating and I loved every single moment, food isn’t overpriced, service is chill and really the only minor problem I have is that they don’t really have skates in my size (13M). But that’s about it, gonna come back here in a few weeks. Such a cool place.

Went here for the first time for the Lantern Fest to try different cuisines tucked in a beautiful forest. It was really a wonderful experience. The walk between “countries” was comfortable and not too far between them so good for all ages. The food was authentic with the country and they served a fun cocktail in each place too. When you arrive you need to make sure to purchase wild bucks which is their currency. If you’re like me and wanna sample a little from each place and a drink, you’re looking at about $140+ for two people but it goes to a great cause if you don’t spend it all. I would definitely go back to this event. It was a fun date with conversation pieces everywhere. The variety show in Vegas was pretty cute also with all kinds of talent. We were there from open to close and it was the perfect amount of time to see and taste it all.

Honestly one of the best kept secrets in Little Rock. Extremely peaceful, nice folks enjoying the trails and a very large lake with nice views. The bathrooms within the Cabo Theatre are also extremely well kept and spacious. Cute little gazebo out of the way too. Sometimes it can be a bit nosy with traffic driving around on Denny Lane but it’s not too bad to ruin a good experience. Highly recommend this park, definitely my favorite in the Little Rock region.

This place was awesome, loved the place, it was beautiful then the room was awesome, my guy, Romeo was so chill and great help! (it was a bit hard to hear him through the speakers though) We can’t wait to try and tackle amnesia next! Whole place was such a bop and we will only go again if oh mighty Romeo is our game master again.

Burns Park in North Little Rock, Arkansas is a sprawling 1,700-acre park that offers a wide range of outdoor activities. It features ball fields, a 36-hole golf course, multi-use trails for hiking and biking, and fishing opportunities in the Arkansas River. The park also boasts amenities such as tennis courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a BMX track, a dog park, and camping facilities.
We loved Burns Park before the tornado came thru in 2023 and now we love it even more! Space ship playground is still there along with the train ride (which is now free). They have an awesome splash pad right beside all kinds of playground equipment. You can bring a cooler, blanket, chairs, whatever you want and spend the day. Kids play for free, it's fenced in, and parents can relax or join in lol.

HUGE park that I enjoy taking my red heeler too to run off his excessive energy. Lots of trail paths and they do have a large dog park but I don't take my boy to any dog parks due to chances of illness that have experienced from other dog parks in other states. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

The attendance for wonderful at the water pad. The water pad the bathrooms the entire park is clean. My grandson played with a lot of really good kids. There was no bullying of pushing or shoving just a really good day.

Growing up, I knew Burns Park as a place to go play. Coming back as an adult, Burns Park is a truly special place. A large park with multiple facilities, sports fields, playgrounds, hiking trails, running trails, and a golf course, Burns Park has a little bit of everything in a publicly accessible package.

Not sure why Google thinks this is a hotel! But it is a really good park. You got golf. Tennis. Pickel ball. Frisbee golf. Baseball/ Softball. Soccer fields. Wooded hiking trails that are horse-friendly. And the River Trail system runs through it. Oh and Funland.

Nice collection of outlet stores in Little Rock. They have many of the name brands you would expect like Nike, Old Navy, Under Armour, and more. There is plenty of parking and they have canopies covering many of the walkways which help during the hotter months of the year. There are some restaurants and food stores onsite and a variety of restaurants located in the vicinity of the mall. I would like to see a few more stores at this location but overall it is not bad.

I love this place honestly. I grew up in a time where all the kids would hang out at the malls so it’s really nostalgic to still have a decent mall to go to that’s not too far from home. Website says open at 10 am. We arrived at 11:15 and a note on the door said “private party till noon”. I didn’t want to disappoint my kids- so we waited for 45 min. It would be the right thing to do- by posting on website that actually you are not open at 10. Bad business practice. 👎 That being said- my kids did have a fun time once we got to go in.

We really enjoyed coming here today for the first time! To me, the big difference between here and the nearby Urban Air is that *everything worked at Defy*. Nothing was broken, nothing was out of order, nothing was unusable because of missing employees. I also really liked that there were games run by employees every once in a while (dodgeball, balloon relay, etc.). Most of the employees were very friendly and helpful. We got there about 1:30p, and there was a shift change around 2:30p or 3p where they weren't as friendly. One particular woman was there the whole time we were, and she was awesome! She ran most of the games and was incredibly fun and supportive of the kids. We will definitely visit again!

Highly recommend for families, parties, or just a fun day out!

Hi, I had my kiddos party at this location over the weekend. I was highly disappointed in the lack of organization, the pure lack of care from not only employees but the manager Chemane as well. The manager on duty continuously looked away, avoided addressing any issues. I was very upset and should have handled the situation better but when you spend $400 on a party you kind of expect it to go smoothly and the people working the event should be happy to be there. It’s a children’s place, if the employees treat paying adults like this I can only imagine what they say or do to minors that can’t talk back. LaMiya- immediate attitude, making faces at me in my view because details were wrong, there was no cart ready for my kid. At the end, blocked me from exiting even after saying excuse me because she called her mom when I wanted to speak to corporate Carrington- tried her best but fell in the mean girl trap like the rest of them. Aniya- carrington ran to get her when they started taking the table cloth off at 7:42. She kept whispering things to carrington and loudly asked if she would like a manager, so I jumped in and said I would. Also name tag reads “Na Na” Chemane is unprofessional, I got her boss’ name- Nick Coyle but no number provided for anyone higher up at all. I wish to speak to Nick or a member of corporate. This whole experience was unacceptable

AMAZING customer service! I cannot express this enough. My sister and I took 6 kids on a Friday. Queen helped us the entire time. Place was absolutely filthy. Disgusting we will not be returning the staff were friendly, but the place is not clean. It’s very unsanitary. Why would we pay almost $200 to be here for a couple of hours and you can’t even play the other games that is there. $20 pizza only eight slices that’s quite extreme.
Tabitha G — Google review
We went and they said I had to purchase online because they did not match or do the same prices as online. So we had to do everything on my phone for 25 mins. When we got into the facility, the first thing I noticed was how dusty and dirty it was here. 1. Half of the covers for the springs on the trampolines were off and didn’t have cushions. And the trampolines were actually coming apart while jumping. 2. The balls were completely dirty and flattened in the ball pin. Plus there were wholes where you climb into the ball pin with out covers made of metal(which will seriously hurt someone). 3. No one was there to help with the climbing obstacles. 4. By the benches there was bird pool and trash with a bird inside the facility. 5. There was trash everywhere and they had just opened, so obviously they did not clean the night before/or before they opened. 6. There were 4 employees working and would only help or let certain kids ride or climb on the attractions. 7. Also I took pictures of all of this. 1/4 dust on the stairs for the kids. 100% nasty and disgusting. I have called corporate trying to speak with someone, and the owner or manager will not answer or call us. I definitely would not recommend taking you child here unless they decide to actually clean up and fixed stuff here.

Urban Air was pleasantly entertaining. Customer service was amazing. All employees the that we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly. My children and nieces throughly enjoyed their first time coming here. We bought a platinum membership which has a few perks that comes along with it. Which were a slice of pizza and a choice between chips or popcorn. As well as the ability to reserve a time slot up to 72hrs in advance. They have Go Karts for the smaller kiddos, which was a plus for my little one. Now the older kids I brought got bored in a matter of 30 minutes. They lean more towards the competitors park than Urban Air(no basketball court here). This location has Zip lining, obstacle courses, rock climbing wall, dodge ball area, free jump area, and ball pit ninja warriors obstacle course area as well. You have the option to order from their concession. All in all we had a great time and plenty of laughs. I definitely would recommend this park to others, if you’re looking for somewhere to simply have fun.

My family and I arrived and was greeted by Mrs.queen, she explain the process to us and helped us pick which pass would be best for my family and I! I love how she was so hands on she welcomed my kids like they were her own! She’s such a sweetheart now I will have to come back because the kids are wanting to see Mrs.Queen! 10/10 would recommend! The building could use some new items or maybe touched up but the atmosphere was wonderful thank you urban air for Mrs.Queen

We came on a Saturday night, no staff as soon you walked in and none of the computers worked to check in. Finally found a worker who was very nice to assist us with getting checked in but upon walking around this place was FILTHY! I expect some trash being a kids place but not like this. Conways facilities are so much cleaner and nicer than this. We won’t be coming back to this location.
Sarah O — Google review
We received a 6 month membership at the Little Rock location as a gift for my son. The first time we went we were shocked by the state of the equipment. Everything was very dirty, and the staff, while semi-friendly, are very put out by customers that come in and having to do the basic tasks that are required. Despite this we gave it another shot, but this past time was even worse. The equipment is filthy and trampolines act like they could snap at any moment, none of the big attractions were open and the one thing our son wanted to do (the cars) we couldn’t do because they weren’t charged from the night before. When they did reluctantly charge them, the employee grumpily let them do two laps around the tiny course. My son left crying that day because it was such a bad experience and he’s pretty stoked to do any activity really. I emailed this location and they never responded and corporate informed me that they don’t let you switch locations or you don’t get a refund to apply for another place. Very shady and scammy policies for a company! I was truly concerned about health issues here, it was not just a matter of it being old which I don’t mind, but the cleanliness is non existent, which is always concerning where a bunch of children are. Don’t waste your time or money at this location!!! Update: No email from this location even after this comment from them, and zero support or follow up from local owner or company! I want to help and love supporting community places here in LR but I would not spend your money here, Sky Zone is a much better option.

The park features a beer garden for adults and a Kids Korner with an inflatable obstacle course for youngsters. Visitors can enjoy watching the Arkansas Travelers play baseball from April through August, often followed by nighttime fireworks to celebrate victories.
Very fun! Small. Cute. Balls. Government drone disguised as what my parents generation would call “birds”😔 but they watched the game! Epic home run to win the game for the travelers. Good chants! Over 20 balls and 2 bats thrown into the crowd by what I hope is an accident by the players so MUST have quick reflexes or there’s no telling what may happen😔😔

Parking was good, near main entrance; quick entry thru gate with no line. Nathan's hot dogs for a mere $3 - awesome! We had seats (thru work) in 213 the next time we go, will get seats on the west side in the shade, and bring something to cushion Mr.'s bad back so we can stay for the entire game.

Great ballpark to watch the Arkansas Travelers. Our seats were only $13 and right behind the first base bullpen. The food was pretty good with quite a few choices. If you have time, make sure to stop by the Travelers’ Museum inside the park. We stayed at the Doubletree right across the river (about a 15-minute walk).

Nature & Parks
Allsopp Park, a hidden gem in Little Rock, is a delightful escape for outdoor enthusiasts. Spanning 150 acres of lush woodlands, this park features an extensive network of hiking and biking trails that cater to all skill levels. As you navigate the scenic five-mile loop, you'll encounter hilly terrain and beautiful views that make every step worthwhile.
Little Rock is fortunate to have a number of beautiful parks in different neighborhoods. Allsopp Park is a (mostly) heavily wooded park of 75 acres in the historic Hillcrest neighborhood. Hillcrest sits in a part of Little Rock in which the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains begin. The wooded slopes of Allsopp Park, with streams running through them, reflect its setting in the foothills of the mountains. The slopes on which the park sits run down to the Arkansas River. At various points in the park, there are overlooks allowing visitors to look down along the sloping hillsides to the river. The park is laced with walking trails, some of them overlooking creeks down below, and it has an old roadway going through part of it, which is now closed off to traffic and used as a walkway. In the northeast end of the park are a tennis court, children's playground, and picnic tables. Pylons from an old suspended bridge that years ago allowed park-goers to walk over the park are still to be found in part of the park. Photos below are from the area of the park adjacent to Kavanaugh Boulevard on the south side of the park. A new walkway running parallel to Kavanaugh from the southeast entrance of the park to Kavanaugh is included in the photos below. Along Kavanaugh as it runs past Allsopp Park is a promenade also featured in these photos. The park is generally safe to walk in, though anyone walking dogs should be aware that some people using the trails and old roadway to ride mountain bikes through the park can be careless and sometimes downright rude, particularly if they think the dogs are impeding their biking path.

I have fond memories of Allsopp. Many a high school night and the occasional day was spent hanging out with friends at Allsopp. Since I got old, I frequent Allsopp to walk my dog on the trails. The park is nicer now and has basketball court, baseball field, jungle Jim for kids...usually the park is kept clean. Also, the area of town is historic and cool

We love having such a large natural space to explore within city limits. The trails are well-maintained and great for easy hiking. The views and scenery are great. We've seen plenty of birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and small lizards, etc. Only twice in more than a decade have I encountered deer in the park - probably due to the hugh human and dog presence. There is more wildlife at other parks nearby. One distinct downside is that the perimeter trail is subject to noise from lawn equipment in the adjoining neighborhood, and the sound carries. It's also unfortunate, inconsiderate, and dangerous that many dog owners who use this space don't adhere to posted signs about Little Rock's leash law.

One of my favorites just because of how many treasures I find. Plenty parking on off hours. I’ve gone at less busy times, so I don’t ever have a problem. Playground. Ball field. Pavilions with grills. Upper parking or unloading for pavilions only open at certain hours. Lovely creek with a cute little bridge. Dog poop bag dispensers with bags. Nice for a little walk or exploring through the woods. Heavy on mosquitoes at night and in the woods trail area. Trails link together and lead into neighborhoods. Honeysuckles make the place smell so wonderful when it blooms everywhere!

There were many large dogs,, many barking and howling. My little dog wanted to leave after a few minutes, which is unusual. There were no dog poo bags in the holders, which explained the poo.
Annette S — Google review
This place offers beautiful sight seeing with picnic benches in the pavilion. However, the pavilion is not well-maintained, and the benches have nails coming out, especially pavilion #7. If you’re bringing kids, be cautious as there are no fences around, so keep them in a safe distance from the water. Another drawback is that not all pavilions have play areas with swings and slides nearby. So, if you book pavilion #7 for a picnic or birthday, the play area is quite a distance away. On the positive side, there are plenty of parking spaces, and trash cans are placed in every corner. However, the restrooms nearby are filthy and lack soap and water.
